      • Pseudo-Gitelman씨 증후군 1예

        Gitelman's syndrome is a rare disorder with a characteristic set of metabolic abnormalities. These include hypokalemia, metabolic alkalosis, hypocalciuria and hypomagnesemia. The clinical manifestations of Gitelman's syndrome are very similar with those of Bartter's syndrome and diuretic abuse. Gitelman' syndrome and Bartter's syndrome can be distinguished by renal clearance study after administration of furosemide and thiazide, since the primary defect in each of these disorders is an impairment in sodium reabsorption in the distal tubule and loop of Henle, respectively. Pseudo-Bartter's syndrome due to diuretic abuse can be distinguished by history of diuretic use and a positive urine assay for diuretics. We have experienced a case of pseudo-Gitelman's syndrome in 56-year old woman with unexplained hypokalemic metabolic alkalosis, hypocalciuria, and hypomagnesemia. The patient denied ingestion of diuretic medication. The results of renal clearance study using furosemide and thiazide in this case suggested the presence of the primary defect of sodium reabsorption in the distal tubule rather than in the loop of Henle. These clinical and laboratory findings were consistent with those of Gitelman's syndrome. But, this case was confirmed as pseudo-Gitelman's syndrome since diuretics were detected by a urine assay for diuretics. Furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide were contained in the pill that she had been taking due to constipation. Herein, we report the case of pseudo-Gitelman's syndrome by abuse of cathartics containig diuretics presented as Gitelman's syndrome in renal clearance study.

        This study was intended to analyse the fundamental problem as to why such old people problem arise from the point of changing industrial society and to analyse their status and problem in terms of the stucture of population and family so that "4 pains" of old people-poverty, disease, loneliness, inactivity-may be got rid of by way of education. One of the aims of the education of old people is to free them such pains and the other is to help them get the willingness and endeavor to overcome them. The more developing an industrial socity gets, resulting in the increase of leasure time, The more important will the education be together with social security system.

        교정용 브라켓 접착부의 피로특성에 관한 실험적 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 화학중합형의 접착제(Mono-Lok^2)로 소구치에 부착된 교정용 브라켓의 전단결합강도에 기계적 및 열적 피로가 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 2종의 금속 브라켓(Ormesh, Microloc)과 3종의 세라믹 브라켓(Fascination, Starfire, Transcend 2000)을 사용하였다. 100만회의 반복 비틀림과 1,000회의 thermocycling을 시행한 다음 전단결합강도를 측정하였으며 파절부위를 stereoscope와 주사전자현미경으로 관찰하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 치아면에 대한 브라켓 접착계면의 전단결합강도는 Fascination 군이 20.78±5.23 MPa로서 가장 크고, Microloc 군에서 14.88±3.10MPa로 가장 작게 나타났으며, 통계적 유의성을 검증한 결과 Fascination, Starfire 군과 Microloc 군간에 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 2. 10^5회의 반복비틀림을 가한 후의 전단결합강도는 Frscination 군이 20.19±3.45 MPa로 가장 크고 Starfire 군이 9.10±8.33MPa로 가장 작게 나타났으며, 피로시험 후 Transcend 2000군(p<0.01)과 Starfire군(p<0.05)에서 유의성이 있는 감소를 보였다. 3. 1,000회의 thermocycling 후의 전단결합강도는 Ormesh 군이 19.36±2.76 MPa로 가장 크고, Starfire 군이 11.94±6.86MPa로서 가장 낮게 나타났으며, thermocycling 후 Transcend 2000(p0.01), Microloc과 Starfire군(p0.05)에서 유의성 있는 감소를 보였다. 4. 접착계면의 파절양상은 thermocycling 시는 정적 시험군과 유사하게 나타났으나, 반복비틀림시는 Ormesh와 Transcend 2000 군에서는 모두 브라켓과 레진 계면에서, Microloc 군은 모두 레진내에서 파절되는 경향을 보였다. Fascination 군은 피로시험조건에 관계없이 법랑질과 레진의 계면에서 파절되었다. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of mechanical and thermal fatigue on the shear bond strength(SBS) in orthodontic brackets bonded to human premolars with chemically cured adhesive(Mono-Loc^2, Rocky Mountain Orthodontics). Two types of metal brackets (Ormesh, Microloc) and three types of ceramic brackets (Fascination, Starfire, Transcend 2000) were used in this study. The 10^6 loadcycles of |7.4×10^2sin2πft|g·cm and the 1,000 thermocycles of 15 second dwel time each in 5℃ and 55℃ baths were acturated as mechanical and thermal stress, and SBS were measured after each fatigue test. The fracture sites were examined by stereoscope and scanning electron as follows ; 1. In static shear bond test, Fascination brackets showed the maximum SBS(20.78±3.45 MPa) and Microloc brackets showed the minimum SBS(14.88±3.10MPa). Fascination and Starfire brackets showed significantly greater SBS than Microloc brackets(p<0.05). 2. In mechanical fatigue test, Fascination brackets showed the maximum SBS (20.19±3.45 MPa) and Starfire brackets showed the minimum SBS(9.10±8.33MPa). The SBS of Transcend 2000 brackets(p<0.01) and Starfire brackets(p<0.05) significantly decreased after 10^6 loadcycles. 3. In thermocycling test, Ormesh brackets showed the maximum SBS (19.36±2.76 MPa) and Starfire brackets showed the minimum SBS(11.94±6.86MPa). The SBS of Transcend 2000(p<0.01), Microloc and Starfire brackets(p<0.05) significantly decreased after 10^3 thermocycles. 4. Failure sites of thermocycling groups were similar to those of static groups but after mechanical fatigue test, Ormesh and Transcend 2000 brackets failed at the bracket/resin interface and Microloc brackets failed within adhesive. Facination brackets failed at the enamel/resin interface irrespective of experimental condition.

        The polycrystalline CuInS_2 thin films are prepared by vacuum heat treatment of layer, which is deposited by vaccum evaporation in order. The electrical and optical properties of the films are investigated at various sulfur deposition mole rate, substrate temperature, heat treatment temperature and time. From data, n type- CuInS_2 exhibits resistivity, transmittance and energy band gap with 142[Ωㆍ㎝], 73[%], and 1.5[eV] respectively at optimum fabrication condition. Finally, the films are fabricated with chalcopyrite structure.

        의류 중의 미생물에 대한 소비자의 지식과 세탁습관 실태조사 분석

        Microorganisms living in clothing cause damage to fabric as well as unhygienic conditions with unpleasant odor for wearers. Removal or growth of microorganisms are affected by the conditions during washing and storage. The purpose of this research was to study the consumer's knowledge and habits in laundering with respect to microorganisms in clothing. For survey method, questionnaires were administered to 580 housewives, age of 20~60s living in Seoul. Employing 479 respondents, the data were analyzed by using deseriptive statistics. The results are as follows; The level of knowledge about microorganisms of clothing was high in general, but wasn't expert level. Many people had experienced damages of textiles, clothing and unpleasant odor due to microorganisms. Fabric softeners and bleaches were rarely used for disinfection but usually used for antistatic. whitening or removal of stains. There was no relationship between laundering habits the knowledge of microorganism, and experience of clothing damage by microorganism

      • 알루미나 기판상에 형성된 타이타늄 박막의 특성연구

        Ti films were deposited onto 100×100 ㎜ alumina substrates using dc magnetron sputtering under the following conditions; substrate temperature of R.T.∼400 ℃, annealing temperature of 100∼400 ℃ and sputtering gas pressure of 1.3∼3.0×10^-2 Torr. And the film were examined by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and 4-point measurement system. The best electrical and structural properties obtained by substrate temperature of ∼200 ℃, target-substrate distance of ∼14 ㎝ and sputtering pressure of 1.3∼1.7×10^-2 Torr. Also at that condition the most excellent adhesion was observed.

        手腕部骨成熟段階에 따른 頭部放射線計則學的 硏究

        To investigate the relationship between craniofacial growth and bone maturity of the hand wrist in normal occlusion, the author took cephalogram and handwrist radiogram of 391 students (male 192, female 199) and assessed the measurements of cephalogram according to skeletal maturity stages of the hand and wrist. In this study, four skeketal stages and 36 linear, angular measurements of the cephalometrics were selected. In hand-wrist X-ray the bones used to determine skeletal maturity were the middle phalanges of the third finger, and distal epiphysis of the radius. In cephalogram, the landmark used to measure the angle and length were N, S, Po., Ar., Go., Me., Gn., Pog., Point B, Point A, ANS, PNS, Or., U1, L1, U6, L6 etc. The results were as follows, 1. The table of mean, standard deviation, p-value from measurements were made in each group and both sex. 2. The increased measurements according to skeletal maturity were anterior cranial bese length, posterior cranial base length, ramus height, anterior facial height, posterior facial height, L1 to mandibular plane (mm), facial plane angle. In contrast to, decreased measurements were gonial angle, facial cnvexity and facial plane angle. 3. Denture pattern measurements (IMPA, FMIA, occlusal plane to Go-Gn, interincisal angle, U1 to SN plane, U1 to SN plane, U1 to facial plane, L1 to facial plane etc.) had nothing to do withskeletal maturity. 4. Skeletal maturity had close relationship with craniofacial growth, but had little to do with tooth development.
