This paper describes with an effect of a single- and a quadruple- lightning impulse currents on electrical characteristics of ZnO blocks, and an expert system to diagnose deterioration of arresters. In this study, an accelerated deterioration test is carried out to deduce the parameters needed for diagnosing arrester deterioration, and leakage current components are measured. Also, wave height distribution of the leakage current with the progress of arrester deterioration is analyzed. From the experimental results, the wave height distribution of the leakage current showed a conspicuous difference even in an immaterial leakage current increase. The use of wave height distribution of the leakage current in deterioration diagnostic technique makes more accurate diagnosis than the conventional method using only a leakage current value. Finally, the expert system based on the experimental reslts is developed, and the effectiveness of the system is estimated in a 18[kV] lightning arrester.

Phage Ф FSV가 Lactobacillus casei의 증식에 미치는 영향

Phage Φ FSV가 유산종균의 배양에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 prophage Φ FSV를 보유한 L. casei YIT 9018 균주나 prophage cured strain인 L. casei HYM 1213 균주에 phage Φ FSV(Lac S21)나 wild type phage Φ J-1(Lac J-1)을 임의의 농도로 각각 감염시켜 이들 균주의 증식을 비교하였다. Lac S21 phage를 L. casei YIT 9018 균주에 감염시켰을 경우, 초기 감염농도가 6.0×10 exp(6) pfu/㎖ 미만인 시료에서는 균주의 성장 및 유산생성능이 정상적이었으며, 오히려 phage수는 감소하였다. 그러나 L. casei HYM 1213균주는 Lac S21 phage에도 민감하게 반응하여, 감염된 균주는 감염시킨 농도에 상관없이 모두 2일균에서 phage가 10^9∼10^10 pfu/㎖로 급격히 증가하였으며, 계속 배양함에도 phage는 감소되지 않고 6일균에서 10^7∼10^9 pfu/㎖로 유지되었고, 이로 인하여 유산균은 정상 발효를 못하였다. 따라서 phage Φ FSV는 모균주인 L. casei YIT 9018 균주에는 어떠한 영향도 미치지 못하고, 오히려 prophage cured strains에는 민감하게 작용하여 비정상 발효를 유도함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, Lac J-1 phage는 prophage Φ FSW를 보유한 L. casei YIT 9018 균주와 prophage cured strain인 L. casei HYM 1213 균주에 모두 민감하게 감염되어 phage의 농도가 급증하고, 이로 인해 균주의 이상발효를 야기시켰다. In order to study effect of the phage Φ FSV on the growth of lactic acid bacteria, Lactobacillus casei YIT 9018 (wild type strain with prophage) or L. casei HYM 1213 (prophage cured strain) was infected with various concentrations of phage Φ FSV (called Lac S21) or wild type virulent phage (called Lac J-1). When L. casei YIT 9018 was infected with Lac S21 under the concentration of 6.0×10 exp(6) pfu/㎖, the growth and lactic acid production of the strain were normal and the number of phages decreased. But L. casei HYM 1213 was susceptible to Lac S21. Regardless of the concentration of the phage infection, the number of phages increased rapidly into 10^9 to 10^10 pfu/㎖ at 2 day cultures and was maintained 10^7 to 10^9 pfu/㎖ phages until 6 day cultures. The lactic acid production of L_n casei HYM 1213 infected with Lac S21 was abnormal. Therefore, phage Φ FSV had an evil effect on growth of L. casei HYM 1213, but not L. casei YIT 9018. On the other hand Lac J-1 caused abnormal fermentation to either L. casei YIT 9018 or L. casei HYM 1213.

방사선 펄스 계측 및 분석시스템에 관한 연구

An objection of this study is to develop a measuring circuits and a analytic system for radioactive pulses. The proposed system consists of a pulse detection units for neutrons and gamma-rays, a programmable high voltage supply unit and a digital signal processor. Gamma-ray detection circuit can count pulse up to 10,000[pps]. The pulse detection parts consists of an active integrator, a pole-zero circuit, and a 3-stage amplifier of 60[dB], and its frequency bandwidth is from 37[Hz] to 300[kHz]. Also, pulse height distribution in accordance with pulse counts is important data in analyzing radioactive pulses. In this study, A/D converter (12[bit], 100[ns] and DSP [TMS 320C31-60) are used to analyze the pulse height, and the analytic system is designed to be operated in PC-base. Radioactive pulse has superior penetration ability to all kind of materials, and it is also possible to evaluate the soundness of electrical insulation materials by analyzing the pulse counts and/or pulse height distribution.

사이버대학의 효율적 운영을 위한 과제

The cyber university will accomplish two objectives. It will create an academic milieu that empowers the professional growth of faculty. The caber university will also develop innovative and more effective approaches to teaching and learning. It will meet these objectives by creating a collaborative group of faculty who, with technical support, will work together to discover what online technologies are available, to determine how they can be used to transform the educational experience, and to assess their teaching effectiveness. This ongoing collaborative effort will result in continuing faculty professional development and a transformation in how students are taught. This study tries to identify those factors by seeking answers to three questions: What are the important major elements of the cyber university? Do we need traditional university structure and personnel to operate the cyber university? What kinds of support do we need? Educational content is identified as the core element of the successful cyber university. Three interfacing groups critical to the successful operation of the cyber university are identified: teacher/trainer group, student/user group. Each group has its own characteristics and needs.

個別化 授業을 위한 CAI 프로그램 開發 硏究

The purpose of this study is to develop the computer-assisted instruction(C.A.I) progrom. And the program can give individualized instruction to learners who need individual learning and can help conquer learning shortage. Therefore we selected the extent and circumference of a plane figure among learning contents in Elementary School mathematics, designed the courseware of tutorials, and developed the CAI program with the GREAT, authoring tool, We developed the program through the steps as follows : analysis and investignton on the foundation environment, selection of learning contents, creation of learning goals, analysis of learning subject, design of teaching and framing of flowchart, development of valuation tool after the work, programming, amendment and complement. This study offerd an opportunity through which students were able to understand the difficult part step by step through animation techniques, helps save learning time through smoothing the process of learning progress with the keys such as front picture, process, order and so on, and is helpful to the perfection learning through feedback.
