        측뇌실내 수막종 : 임상분석 및 수술접근법 Clinical Analysis and Surgical Approach

        The authors present six cases of lateral ventricle meningiomas treated at Seoul National University Hospital between 1979 and 1991. These six cases of lateral ventricular meningiomas constitute 1.8 percent of all intracranial meningiomas and 16.7 percent of mass lesions of the lateral ventricle. The mean age was 29 years ranging from 11 to 50 years, younger than that or intracranial meningiomas with a statistical significance(p<0.01). Four of the patients were women and two were men. All cases were located in the trigonal area. The most common clinical symptoms and signs were related to increased intracranial pressure such as headache, nausea and vomiting. Based on the clinical presentation and radiological features(CT. MRI and angiography), correct preoperative diagnosis was possible in five cases. Gross total removal of the tumor was achieved in all cases. There was no operative mortality. A temporal gyrus approach was used in five cases with good surgical results. The benefits and drawbacks of each surgical approach for meningiomas of the lateral ventricle is discussed with review of pertinent literatures.

      • 시분할 방식 고주파 공진 인버터의 특성해석

        In this paper, we propose the high frequency resonant inverter of the time sharing type which has the effects that the duty cycle of each elements and the thermal loss can be reduce. The analysis of the proposed circuit is described generally by using the normalized parameters. Also, the principle of basic operation and the characteristics of drive were estimated by the switching frequency and the load parameters. And we got the data for designing by the characteristic values obtained at the estimate of characteristic. At the same time, the example of the design's method was proposed and the waveforms of simulation were compared with theoretical waveforms. It is certain that the proposed circuit will be used and expanded in the high frequency power supplies like induction heating systems.

      • 泰國의 「싹디나」 制度에 관한 小考

        The bureaucratic and authoritative orientation in the days of old-one of the political culture's characteristic in Thailand-was theSakdina system. Owing to the lack of historical records, we couldn't get out this system exactly. But it seemed to be settled by King Boromtrilokanat in the first Ayuthya period. At that time, the king couldn't govern all the provinces far from his own capital because of inconvenient travel and communication. So the king nominated a favorite and an ableman as a lord of the each province. The king donated lands to the bureaucrats and nobilities for salaries. They were given the right not only to possess the land, but also to manage the residents and all products in that territories. If they resigned from office or died, they should return the territories to the king. It differed from the european manor system. At Ayuthya period, the king who was a leader of the all people sustained the absolute monachy by theSakdina system. This system was fit for the political, economic and social benefits of the ruling classes. In view of political aspect, Sakdina system was carried out as political standard to protect the security of the king and noble classes to suppress the lower classes-Phrai-. It was a moment to obstruct the understanding between two classes. In economic aspect, it enabled the ruling classes to amass wealth, because they owned the land,. And the land was essentially important for production in agricultural society. So this system had to depend on the labor of Phrai. In social aspect, Sakdina system formed the pyramidal social classes-the class of king, royal family, nobility, commoner- and slave-. Thus it was patron-client relationship. Sakdina system was disappeared after the year of 1932 constitutional monarchy, but the ruling classes-Munnai cluture-and the lower classes-Phrai culture-still remained in Thai society. Thai people still respect the social standing of king and higher classes "chaonai" under the liberty and equality of the democratic system.

      • 枾根이 PE로 유발된 家兎의 수축혈관에 미치는 영향

        This study was undertaken to define the effect of Diospyros Kaki L. Radix on the phenylephrine-induced arterial contraction and the mechanism of Diospyros Kaki L. Radix-induced relaxation. In order to investigate the effect of Diospyros kaki L. Radix on contracted rabbit carotid arterial strips, transverse strips with intact or damaged endothelium were used for the experiment using organ bath. To analyze the mechanism of Diospyros kaki L. Radix induced relaxation, Diospyros kaki L. Radix extract infused into contracted arterial strips induced by phenylephrine after treatment of indomethacin, N_(t) nitro-_L-arginine, or tetraethylammonium chloride, and Ca^++ infused into contracted arterial strips by phentlephrineafter treatment of Diospyros kaki L. Radix in a CA^++ free solution. Diospyros kaki L. Radix relax arterial strip with or without endothelium contracted by phenylephrine, but in the strips without endothelium, Diospyros kaki L. Radix-induced relaxation was significantly inhibited. The endothelium-dspendent relaxtion induced by Diospyros kaki L. Radix was decreased by the pretreatment of N_(t) nitro-_L-arginine, but it was not observed in the strips pretreated with indomethacin or tetraethylammonium chloride. When Ca^++ was applicated the strips which were contracted by phenylephrine in a Ca^++ free solution, arterial contraction was increased. But pretreatment of Diospyros kaki L. Radix inhibited contractile response to Ca^++. We suggest that Diospyros kaki L. Radix may directly suppress influx of extra-cellular Ca^++ and indirectly suppress influx of extra-cellular Ca^++ though the formation of nitric oxide in the vascular endothelial cells.

      • STD-11 와이어 컷 방전가공시 가공조건에 따른 북현상 고찰

        From the experimental study of W-EDM for alloyed steel STD-11, the characteristics such as Hand Drum Form and surface roughness have been observed and evaluated for various conditions. In square hole, the increase of IP as to made condition, the calculate high value of surface roughness. Also compare dimensionless square hole with circle hole' graph. In circle hole, if a value of surface roughness IP 6 in a side of circle it show a 0.4㎛ and in IP 8, 0.6㎛, in IP 10, 0.7㎛, in IP 12, 0.8㎛ higher than before. This figure show the surface roughness is higher than before, because a table move in either X-axis or Y-axis in square hole, on the contrary, in circle there table move in X-axis and Y-axis at the same time, hand drum form getting small when wire tension increase 1000gf to 1500gf, at the same working conditions, the smaller of off time, the maller of hand drum form in same condition and same wire tension. but if you compare square hole with circle hole' graph, hand drum form displayed in maintained term of working condision, on the contrary, in case of square hole variation of hand drum form is more increase than a grow of IP

      • 능동전력필터를 위한 새로운 전류제어 델타변조방식에 관한 연구

        Advances of Power Electronics in industrial domains lead to continuous increase of harmonics on net-works. To solve these problems, Active Power Filtering(A.P.F.) concept has been developed for several years. This paper describes an A.P.F. comprising Current Source Inverter (CSI) by Current-Controlled Delta-Modulation Technique. This Concept is applied to a new current source Sigma-Delta Modulation(SDM) inverter for A.P.F. As associating this concept with current source inverter(CSI) APF, there are several advantages. Most of all, this controller can be easily implemented and has a satisfactory compensating performance. In addition, inverter output fitter, the capacitor and inductance size are considerably reduced. The controller is implemented by analog circuit and one-chip micro-processor(TMS370C756). As the typical load which generates the harmonics, a 3-phase diode rectifier is used, The proposed scheme is investigated by digital simulation(ACSL). Also, the theoretical results is verified by analog & digital experiment.

      • 정량적 묘사분석을 이용한 다양한 전분 gel의 관능특성

        전분은 특성상 수분과 가열에 의해 호화 되고, 호화 후 온도가 낮아지면 젤을 형성하는 특성을 갖고 있다. 전분의 이러한 특성을 이용하여 제조된 식품으로는 "묵"을 들 수 있겠다. 본 실험에서는 소비자 기호도의 만족을 위하여 여러 가지 전분을 이용하여 젤을 제조하여 정량적 묘사 분석을 통해 관능특성을 비교하였다. 결과로는 옥수수 전분젤이 다른 전분젤들과 비교하여 가장 단단하며 탄력 있는 젤을 형성함을 알 수 있었고, 다음은 도토리 전분 젤이 단단하고 탄력 있는 젤을 형성하였으며, 고구마와 감자전분의 단단한 정도는 통계적으로 유의차가 없음을 알 수 있었다. Starches has been mainly used for making gel and capturing the small molecular weight substance. Especially, the foods using the gelling properties of starch have famously known as "Mook" in Korea. The sensory characteristics for the starch gel properties are need to study for the confidence of consumer acceptance. In this study, the gels which obtained various starch such as sweet potato's starch, potato starch, corn starch and acorn starch were evaluated the sensory attributes using quantitative descriptive analysis(QDA). As the results, 8 terms were described, and the most rigid and springiness gel was the corn starch gel, the second was acorn starch gel, and the starch gels between sweet potato and potato were not shown significance.
