The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between academic achievement and time management behavior of teenage students by observing the differences among students in regular high schools, vocational high schools, and schools for lifelong education. First, the effect of time management behavior on academic achievement was examined. And the effect of time management behavior on life satisfaction was also examined. Based on a survey on 367 teenagers attending high school in Seoul, the relationship between time management behavior and academic achievement was analyzed according to general characteristics. No difference was found in the academic achievement according to time management behavior of students who were taking extracurricular tutoring and those who were not. However, a significant difference was found in terms of self-study time. Students with higher academic achievement were found to be better at planning, organizing, and goal establishing, which are the sub-fields in time management behavior.

In 1991, Obesity rate of South Korea has reached to 18.7%. Because of economical development, the pattern of diet is exchanged from carbohydrate to rich protein and fat. The more problem is not only obesity of adult but also one of little child. Obesity is induced to diabetes mellitus, hypertension, artherosclerosis, hyperlipoidemia, heart and C.V.A disease, etc. In Woman, special important problem is the complex of beauty about woman's figure. In Oriental Medicine, the factor of obesity is mainly regarded as dampness. And there are many treatments and methods to body weight loss, but obesity patients dislike to use them because of their side effects and inconvenience, intolerance. Now ear acupuncture is applied on so many disease because of its easy handly, non-side effect and high efficiency in clinics. Here obesity acupuncture is used to ear and whole body acupuncture. Because they react eachother for their lack point. Therefore, in order to investigate the effect of obesity acupuncture and develop non-drug, non-starvation etc, we analyzed 453 the cases of body weight loss patients treated with ear and whole body acupuncture in Oriental Medicine Hospital in Jeon-Ju Woo-Sug University from April.1.1992. to March. 17.1993. The results were summarized as follows. 1. Distribution of sex ; Male (4.4%), Female (95.6%) 2. Distribution of age in descending order ; 30s, 20s, 40s, 10s, 50s, below 10s, above 60s. The 20s-30s are group made up 60.7% of the group. 3. Distribution of occupation in descending order ; housewife, student, service, salaried, merchant, teacher, farmer, inoccupation. 4. Distribution of human coporal constitution in descending order ; Tae-Eum-In, So-Eum-In, So-Yang-In. 5.Distribution of body height and weight, 155-164cm ; 71.1%, 60-70kg, 74.6% are majority. 6. Distribution of weight variation, 2-6kg(71.0%) is majority, also 13-14kg(0.4%). 7. Distribution of duration in descending order ; 1-3 years, 3-6 years, 1-12 months, above 10 years but in success, 1-12 months, 1-3 years, 3-6 years, above 10 years. Therefore, we know that the shorter duration of obesity is, the more loss of body weight. 8. Past experiences to body weight loss; Yes(69.5%), No(30.5%). The success rate accordant with the past temporay experiences shows that the cases without experience is higher than the ones with experience. 9. In distribution of times(treatments), 10 times is top. the rate of body weight loss is the highest in 14 times. Therefore, I think that one would need at least 10 times, in order to lose body weight. 10. Distribution of body weight variation in treatments times is at 2 times(3-4kg loss), and surprisingly is 14kg loss at above 15 times. 11. Distribution of symptoms improvement, in descending order ; heavy sense in body, dec. of appetite, inc. of exercise, lumbago, edema, knee pain, inc. of urine, inc. of fullness sense, thirsty, disease of gynecology, white tung, chest burning, heart burning, dec. of tobacco, drink taste, motion sickness, allergy, water eczema, arthma, belching. 12. Distribution of snack ; Yes(87.4%), No(12.6%) 13. Distribution of exercise ; Yes(21.4%). No(78.6%) 14. Distribution of sleeping times, above 7 hours(79.0%) 15. Distribution of reason to body loss, the complex of beauty(68.7%) is top. 16. Distribution of side effect in obesity acupuncture, constipation(17.4%) is top. 17. Distribution of method in body weight loss ; dietary treatment(31.1%), sauna(26.7%), exercise(19.7%), the center of body weight loss(15.0%) herb-med and starvation treatments(5.1%), hand-finger acupuncture(hand-foot acupuncture) is 1.6%, diet pill(0.3%), etc(0.6%)

As a Contemporary Chinese faamous writer, Canxue social consciousness and insight of human itself played a very important role at the end of 20th century of Chinese literature. In this article I focused on what made the literary works of Canxue change and what were the focuses. The changes had started with her dreaming in the girl ages. In addition, I examined how the association with literary and artistic parsonage taught her to develop and enhance the creative method in her literature. Canxue voluntarily tried to adjust herself to the social and political movement in the 1960's. Her original and sensitive emotion made her create a new literary world, and furthermore she rebuilt her vision of a new society. Briefly, this article analyzed Canxue's literary works from psychological and sociological perspectives. However, it lacks more detailed analysis of literary text of Canxue.

《언간독》과 《증보언간도》비교 연구

The object of this study is the book written as form of letter, Eongandok. The purpose of this study is to analyze the bibliographical of these material - two sorts of 《Eongandok》 and ane sort of 《Jeungboeongandok》 - and to compare their characteristics in view of linguistics with each other. As concerns the bibliographical, this study compares new ones with other Eongandoks have studied before. Titles(Gandok, Eongan, Eongandok, Eonchaltu, Jeungboeongandok, Jingboeongandok), holding places, volums, the years of publication, and physical descriptions. In addition that we compared the total contents and represented their differences. In regard to linguistic matters, we compared with each other, 《Eongandok》 and 《Jeungboeongandok》 relating to inscriptions and phonologys. In view of inscriptions, we searched confused degrees and tendency of ,`, /ㅏ/ㅡ','ㅜ/ㅗ','ㅑ/ㅕ','을/를',', inscriptions of 'ㅅ" and addition to as for the inscriptions initial consonant clusters used such as 'ㅺ, ㅼ, ㅽ, ㅾ','ㅄ' and 'ㅆ'. In view of phonologys, we focused to 'the vowel of 'ㅣ' addition', 'palatalization', 'labialization and dependency of 'an honorific expression according to materials. We tried to stand out their characteristics obviously comparing these with others. And we feel somgthing wanting still for linguistical study. It should keep collecting and arranging for Eongandoks having somehow untreated data.

The precision measurement technology is the infrastructure of industry technology and thus it is the critical element in the quality and hi-tech products. Nevertheless, the precision measurement technology in Korean industry is the lower level of the advanced state. In this study, we survey the demand of precision measurement technology including instrument and technologies in Korean industry, and provide the objective data on the level of precision measurement technology based on the report "A Study on the Current Status of Precision Measurement in Korea(KRISS, 2001)" . We summarize contents on the precision measurement technology in Korean industry, provide the assessment model for the level of precision measurement technology, and analyze the results of these. The level of the precision measurement technology of National Standards Institution, MISS, approaches those of the advanced state, but levels of the precision measurement technology in Korean industry are 2-3 years behind levels of National Standards Institution. Analysis model and results are analyzed for the important index to compare the levels of the precision measurement technology in Korean industry. Therefore, it is expected to provide the development for precision measurement technology and improve the system of precision measuring instruments, level of precision and accuracy, calibration, technical manpower for measurement etc. in Korean industry.

시뮬레이션에 의한 저음재생용 소형스피커의 개발

This paper describes the study for the development of a 80㎜ low frequency sound speaker for the multimedia devices that has 80Hz basic resonance frequency and a pretty good ability to reproduce sounds efficiently in low frequency range even thought it is a compact sized speaker. This speaker has been changed by voice coil, magnet structures, diaphragm supporting structures and the shape of damper using theoretical simulation. As a result, the low frequency sound speaker has the characterization of a 80Hz basic resonance frequency.

목련과 수종과 부위에 따른 견직물의 천연염색변이

In order to establish a dyeing method with Magnoliaceae tree species dyeing was examined with 4 different parts, leaf, stem bark, root, flower of 4 Magnohaceae species, Magnolia kobus Dc., Magnolia denudata Desr, Magnolia obovata Thunb, Liriodendron tulipifera L Mordants used were chemicals, AIK(SO_4)_2 24H_2O, Ca(OH)_2, FeSO_4 7H_2O. All four species showed similar coloring among four different parts. Leaves and petals showed dark yellow, stem bark, grayish yellow, root bark, dark red or yellow. Al mordant made more brighter colour than Fe mordant. Stem bark showed less difference in color by mordants, whereas petals did the biggest.

Evaluating the Data Quality of Electroencephalogram for Attentional Engagement of Moviegoers

Objective and quantitative measurements are important for media makers to determine when and how much media users are engaged with media. Standard marketing techniques employed for movies thus far have involved the use of interviews and questionnaires after participants view a movie. While useful, it is difficult with these methods to determine precisely the degree to which they were engaged or when they became engaged. If technology, which can measure variations in media users’ levels of engagement is developed, it would help media makers when designing media content to induce the intended level of engagement. Recently, the focusing of attention can be monitored by measuring associated changes in brain electrical activity by means of electroencephalogram (EEG). Thus, in principle, EEG measures have the potential to provide a more direct and objective method for gauging the intensity and nature of moviegoer engagement. In the present study, we aimed to evaluate the attentional engagement (AE) of moviegoers. We measured EEG when Japanese students were watching the American movie Iron Man. We found a significant decrease in the EEG power in the low-alpha-frequency band while the participants watched film content evoking subjective higher attention. To use our results as reference data for a neuromarketing service, we suggest a procedure with criteria evaluating the quality level of data. According to this procedure, the EEG power values of AE for the movie Iron Man can serve as standard reference data with quality level of validated.
