        The purpose of this study is in developing locally-oriented teaching-learning materials to motivate students to effectively take part in activities using map and in improving the field work of social studies to plan a map learning and to give them the ability of practice. It represents the right order involved in teaching the activities using map after doing preceding learning : classroom, playground, and the environs of the school including to some learning methods such as a puzzle map, a correlative of learning. Field trip study planning and lesson-plan are designed in case of Sewage disposal plant, Duknam filtration plant, Bonchon industrial complex relating to field trip study. There are some effects expected which follow through this study. First, teachers are able to draw learner's interest in finding learning sources directly through the community where they live. Second, learners have active participation in class, motivation, drawing their interests through map learning by doing preceding study of learner-centered. Third, teachers can make use of it as useful tools to get high achievement goal with self-direct learning.

        Investigation of the Gene Encoding Isotocin and its Expression in Cinnamon Clownfish, Amphiprion melanopus

        Isotocin (IT)은 포유류의 oxytocin과 유사한 호르몬으로 어류의 행동 조절과 스트레스에 대한 반응, 그리고 삼투압 조절에 이르기까지 다양한 생리반응에 관여한다고 추정된다. 해수 관상어인 cinnamon clownfish의 IT 유전자 구조와 기능을 연구하기 위하여 genomic DNA와 뇌의 cDNA 주형으로부터 유전자를 확보하였다. 세 개의 exon과 156개의 아미노산을 표지하는 ORF로 이루어진 IT 전구물질 유전자는 19개 아미노산으로 이루어진 신호 부위, 9개 아미노산 호르몬 부위, 3개 아미노산의 효소 조절 부위, 그리고 125개 아미노산의 neurophysin 호르몬 부위로 구성되었다. 조직별 RT-PCR 분석결과는 IT 전구물질 유전자가 뇌와 생식소에서 발현됨을 보여준다. 해수(34 ppt) 적응 개체의 아가미에서는 염류세포 바깥 표면에 apical crypt가 보이는데 비하여, 15 ppt로 낮춘 저염분 적응 개체의 아가미는 표면이 pavement cell로 덮여있는 평평한 구조를 보여준다. 아가미 세포의 Na<SUP>+</SUP>/K<SUP>+</SUP>-ATPase 활성은 저염분 순응 초기에 증가하다 시간이 지날수록 정상 수준을 회복하는 양상을 보여주는데, 이는 prolactin과 같이 저염분 초기순응 및 항상성 유지에 관여함을 의미한다. 하지만 저염분 순응 시 미량 증가하는 IT 전구체 mRNA는 초기 삼투조절에 미치는 역할이 미미함을 보여준다. Isotocin (IT), a nonapeptide homolog of oxytocin in mammals, has been suggested to be involved in physiological processes including social behaviors, stress responses, and osmoregulation in teleost fish. To study its structure and function, the gene encoding the IT precursor was cloned from the genomic DNA and brain cDNA of the cinnamon clownfish, Amphiprion melanopus. The IT precursor gene consists of three exons separated by two introns, and encodes an open reading frame of 156 amino acid (aa) residues, comprising a putative signal peptide of 19 aa, a mature IT protein of 9 aa, a proteolytic processing site of 3 aa, and 125 aa of neurophysin. Tissue-specific analysis of the IT precursor transcript indicated its expression in the brain and gonads of A. melanopus. To examine its osmoregulatory effects, the salinity of the seawater (34 ppt) used for rearing A. melanopus was lowered to 15 ppt. Histological analysis of the gills indicated the apparent disappearance of an apical crypt on the surface of the gill lamella of A. melanopus, as pavement cells covered the surface upon acclimation to the lower salinity. The level of Na<SUP>+</SUP>/K<SUP>+</SUP>-ATPase activity in the gills was increased during the initial stage of acclimation, followed by a decrease to its normal level, suggesting its involvement in osmoregulation and homeostasis. The only slight increase in the level of IT precursor transcript in the A. melanopus brain upon low-salinity acclimation suggested that IT played a minor role, if any, in the process of osmoregulation.

        This paper describes the DTCAM structure that has increased utilization in artificial intelligence search. The inverter chain of the existing DTCAM structure was improved to reduce power consumption, and a detection module was added to facilitate data retrieval. In addition, it aims to accelerate artificial intelligence computation using memory through a Priority Encoder structure that sets priority to multiple searched memory addresses and outputs them. This is a method of solving the von Neumann bottleneck through PIM, and has various possibilities of expansion in the field of future artificial intelligence computation.

        풍력발전시스템 개별피치제어설계 및 피로해석에 관한 연구

        로터에 작용하는 불균형한 반복 하중은 풍력발전기에 구조적 하중을 발생시키고 이러한 하중이 구조물에 지속적으로 누적되면 피로 파괴와 수명 단축을 발생시킨다. Individual pitch control(IPC)는 이러한 구조적 하중을 저감시키고 풍력발전기의 작동 수명 연장에 효과가 있는 제어 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 Decentralized LQR(DLQR)과 Disturbance accommodating control(DAC)를 이용한 IPC 설계를 제시한다. DLQR은 로터 회전속도 제어를 위해 사용하였고 DAC는 블레이드에 외란으로 작용하는 바람(난류) 효과를 상쇄하도록 구성하였다. 제시된 IPC제어기의 구조적 하중 저감 효과는 Gain-scheduled PI로 설계된 Collective pitch control(CPC)과 비교하여 확인하였다. 또한, IPC의 구조물 하중 저감 효과를 확인하기 위해 피로 누적에 의한 손상정도를 나타내는 피로등가하중(DEL)을 이용하였다. Structural loading on a wind turbine is due to cyclic loads acting on the blades under turbulence and periodic wind field. The structural loading generates fatigue damage and fatigue failure of the wind turbine. The individual pitch control(IPC) is an efficient control method for reducing structural loading. In this paper, we present an IPC design method using Decentralized LQR(DLQR) and Disturbance accommodating control(DAC). DLQR is used for regulating rotor speed and DAC is used for canceling out disturbances. The performance of the proposed IPC is compared with CPC, which was designed with a gain-scheduled PI controller. We confirm the effect of fatigue load reduction with the use of damage equivalent load(DEL).

      • Characterization of genes encoding prolactin and prolactin receptors in starry flounder Platichthys stellatus and their expression upon acclimation to freshwater.

        <P>This study aims to investigate the genes encoding prolactin (PRL) and prolactin receptors (PRLR) and their tissue-specific expression in starry flounder Platichthys stellatus. Starry flounder PRL gene consisting of five exons encodes an ORF of 212 amino acid residue comprised of a putative signal peptide of 24 amino acids and a mature protein of 188 amino acids. It showed amino acid identities of 73 % with tuna Thunnus thynnus, 71 % with black porgy Acanthopagrus schlegelii, 69 % with Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus, 64 % with pufferfish Takifugu rubripes, 63 % with rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss, and 60 % with mangrove rivulus Kryptolebias marmoratus. Phylogenetic analysis of piscine PRLs also demonstrated a similarity between starry flounder and other teleosts but with a broad distinction from non-teleost PRLs. PRLR gene consists of eight exons encoding a protein of 528 amino acid residues. It showed a similarity to the PRLR2 subtype as reflected by amino acid identities of 54 % with A. schlegelii, 48.1 % with K. marmoratus, 46.3 % with tilapia O. mossambicus, and 46.1 % with O. niloticus PRLR2 as compared to PRLR1 isoform having less than 30 % identities. While mRNA transcript corresponding to PRL was detected only from the pituitary, most of PRLR mRNA was detected in the gill, kidney, and intestine, with a small amount in the ovary. The level of PRL transcript progressively increased during 6 days of acclimation to freshwater and then decreased but stayed higher than that of seawater at 60 days of acclimation. An opposite pattern of changes including a decrease at the beginning of the acclimation but a slight increase in the level osmolality was found as adaptation continued. The results support the osmoregulatory role of PRL signaling in starry flounder.</P>

        From the viewpoint of Confucianism, the origin of musical composition lies in the heart of a human being. However, they say music does not directly come from the heart, but the heart must pass through the steps of sounds and tones before getting to music. Sound comes into being after the heart is moved in response to external things and emotions are expressed. Tones are the artistic form by which the characteristics of sound can be expressed in harmonious manner, and this artistic form combined with ethical contents is the music in Confucianism. That music originates from expressions of emotions caused by movement of the heart explains the inevitability of the existence of music for human beings. As long as humans have hearts and emotions, the existence of music is inevitable. However, even if music exists inevitably, there are the music that can give beneficial influence to human emotions and the music that cannot. Herein lies the necessity of musical education as a means to teach and spread the music that can give good influence to human emotions. The music that gives beneficial influence to human emotions plays the role of harmonizing and uniting the people who were moved by the music. In Confucianism, this kind of music that harmonizes and unites all things is called Ye-Ahk. They believe that human perfection can be actualized through the education of Ye-Ahk. In conclusion, the ultimate objective of musical education in Confucianism is the actualization of harmonious world through human perfection.

        어촌의 공간적 특성과 관광어촌의 유형화

        제주도 어촌의 관광기능 분포는 어촌 외부와의 접근성 보다는 어촌 내부의 관광자원의 영향을 많이 받고 있다. 어촌 관광자원의 영향을 받아 입지하는 관광기능의 어촌공간상 위치는 낚시와 수산물 채취ㆍ채포의 바다, 수산물 조리점과 민박의 해안으로 구분되므로, 관광기능의 어촌공간상 위치의 기본 유형은 바다지향 어촌, 해안지향 어촌, 바다ㆍ해안 지향 어촌 등으로 구성된다. 이 밖에도 관광기능 위치가 중심어촌 외부인 해수욕장 인접 어촌과 어촌으로의 접근성에서 큰 차이를 보이는 도서 어촌이 관광기능 위치의 유형에 포함될 수 있다. 그리고 이러한 관광기능의 어촌공간상 위치에 따른 관광어촌 유형에 있어 관광기능의 위치가 바다일 때 해안인 경우보다 어업활동과의 관련성과 어촌공간과의 통합도가 높고, 해수욕장 인접 관광어촌과 도서 관광어촌은 각각 시간적 제약과 공간적 제약을 지님으로써 다른 유형과는 차이를 보인다. 따라서 관광기능의 어촌공간상 위치에 따른 관광어촌 유형화는 각 유형간 어촌과의 관련성에서 차이가 드러나므로 관광어촌의 유형화로 볼 수 있다. The location of tourist function is influenced by the accessibility of fishing villages and tourist potential in the villages. In Jeju island, the accessibility of fishing villages is not enough of a difference, therefore tourist potential in the villages has a dominant influence on the tourist location. In the location of the tourist function, there is all the difference between sea or land. Because sea and land are a remarkable contrast in physical condition and tourist activity space. Consequently, the basic types of the tourist location are sea-oriented, land-oriented, sea land-oriented. Besides, fishing villages adjacent to the beach and islands are to be the types of the tourist location. The former is not central fishing village in the tourist location, the latter is not good in the accessibility of the basic three types. And the location of the tourist function has a dominant influence on the difference of tourist fishing villages, therefore the types of the tourist location is to be types of tourist fishing villages.
