        Sam-Gye-Je('Sam' means as three, 'Gye' as chinese scholar tree, and 'Je' as a house for a sacrificial rite), located in Tae-Chung-Dong, Kyungsan City, Kyungbuk, is a traditional landscape element that contains features of Je and menhir together. The object of this study is to identify a background of constriction and to analyze meanings and charateristics of the structure. To achieve these objectives, this study has conducted a literature review, an analysis of Gimun(a description of history, landscape or meaning about Je) and photograph, and a level survey. Conclusions derived from these analyses are as follows : 1. About 250 years ago, Chung-Tae-Woon who lived in Taegu, came to the Chung-Dong. He built Sam-Gye-Je where three chinese scholar trees(Sophora japonica L.) stood, followed by Jung-Lya-Goak(a monumental house of dutiful son) in 1855. It is postulated that there were three menhirs when the Sam-Gye-Je was built. 2. It is postulated that the menhir Ⅰ, Ⅲ, Ⅴ were built in Silla Dynasty or before, but it is difficult to conclude that they were built at the same time. It is because that some variations are found in the shape, the weathering state, and kind of the rock. 3. It is postulated that the Menhir Ⅱ and Ⅳ were built in 1855, it is believed that the statues were built to inherit the ancestors' high aim and life(loyalty and filial piety) to their decedants. 4. It is hard to conclude that incisions on the menhir were concurrent. However, contents of the incisions have a strong connection with the meaning of the Je, particularly in the V-menhir. Also menhir Ⅰ and Ⅴ reflected a meaning of elegance, considering the surrounding landform. 5. It is very unique to build the menhir at the Je. Furthermore, it is very interesting to arrange 5 menhirs in one line, even though they were not built at the same time. 6. The origin of the menhir and other details that is not disclosed in this study should be followed by a further research.

      • 저가 후막 EL소자 제조 및 신뢰성 평가

        AC powder electroluminescence(EL) device consists of seven layers : PET substrate, transparent electrode, phosphor layer, dielectric layer, two layer metal electrodes and protective layer. Etch layer needs to control to improve electrical and optical properties. Both phosphor and dielectric layer among them is more important to increase its properties. For long-time reliability, proper choices of passivation and sealing material are essential. In this paper, influence of phosphor and dielectric layer thickness on EL performance is studied. Type of cellulos is selected as a sealing material to avoid moisture. To add two type of plasticizer to resin improves flexibility and passivation of EL devices. Through this experiments, technologies of fabrication low-cost thick film EL device can be established.

      • 원형 파일의 파압분포특성에 관한 실험적 연구

        The computation of the water wave forces on offshore structures is one of the primary tasks in the design of the structures. It is also one of the most difficult tasks since it involves the complexity of the interaction of waves with the structures. The Morison equation assumes the wave force to be composed of inertia and drag forces linearly added together. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the wave forces acting on the cylinderical piles. Author set up a cylinderical piles model into 2 dimensional regular wave tank with vaned wave height, water depth, and wave period, and observed wave forced. In practice the wave forces depending on wave height, water depth, and wave period were predicted through the experimental model test. It is presented a good tool to predict qualitatively the wave forces acting on the cyinderical piles.

      • 전기도금한 교정용 스테인레스스틸 선재의 세포독성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the possible clinical application through examining the cytotoxicity of orthodontic wire, which was increased diameter using electroplating. First, nickel plating was done on the commercially available stainless steel wire using a electroplating technique. And for the comparison electroplated wire with ready made stainless steel wire and titanium or copper. each wire was incubates for 72 hours on the medium. The release of the metal ion was measured using ICP-AES. The incubated medium was diluted 75%, 50%, 25% and added on the microplate each with Balb/c 373 mouse fibroblast for MTT analysis and compared with medium only. Through the measuring of the change in absorbency value of each wire group and the difference of absorbency value according to change of dilution, following results were obtained. 1. The results of ICP-AES analysis showed that lots of nickel ions were isolated from electroplated orthodontic wires and lots of copper ions were isolated from copper. 2. The inverted microscope showed that numbers of cells were decreased at the electroplated wire and copper. 3. The results of MTT analysis showed that there was no difference of the absorbency value of titanium at any dilution. 4. The results of MTT analysis showed that the absorbency values of the electroplated wires were lower than those of medium only at all dilutions, and showed statistically significant differences(p<0.001). 5. The results of MTT analysis showed that the absorbency value of the stainless steel wires were lower than those of medium only at all dilutions, and showed statistically significant differences(p<0.05). 6. The results of MTT analysis showed that the absorbency value of the copper were lower than those of medium only at all dilutions, and showed statistically significant differences(p<0.001). 7. Assessment as per ISO 10993, part 5, titanium and stainless steel wire investigated corresponded to "non-cytotoxic". Whereas copper was "highly cytotoxic", electroplated wire was alloted to "moderate cytotoxic". The results of this study indicate that the electroplated orthodontic wires need additional efforts in order to decrease cytotoxicity for their clinical applications.

      • 관절염 모델에서 침형 경피신경 자극의 효과

        The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze effect of needle transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation with the change of immunohistochemistry method through the change of c-fos in spinal dorsal horn(pre, 4, 8, 12 and 24h). An experimental arthritis induced in 100 Sprauge-Dawley rats with a mixture 3% carrageenan and 3% kaolin(0.1 ㎖ in sterile saline) into the joint cavity of one knee. Each group was randomly divided into four groups; Group Ⅰ : control group, Group Ⅱ : arthritic limb-induced group, Group Ⅲ : Needle TENS application on ipsilateral arthritic limb(2 Hz, 200 μs, 20 min) group, Group IV : Needle TENS application on contralateral arthritic limb(2 Hz, 200 μs, 20 min) group. The results of this study were as follows: 1. In naked eyes opinion, c-fos immunoreactive positive neurons are increased markedly 4 hours after arthritis limb-induced in Rexed Ⅰ, Ⅱ of superficial dorsal horn. Group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ are more decreased than Group Ⅱ at 8 hours after arthritis limb-induced. 2. The c-fos immunoreactive positive neurons after application needle like transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation on arthritic limb-induced model group are more decreased than only arthritic limb-induced group. 3. The number of c-fos immunoreactive positive neurons in superficial dorsal horn was decreased markedly 4 hours after arthritis limb-induced. Group Ⅲ and group N are more decreased than Group Ⅱ at 8 hours after arthritis limb-induced(p<0.001). Specially Group Ⅲ showed the most significantly effect at 8 hours(p<0.01). The above results suggest that needle transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation effectively reduced in arthritic limb-induced model. In addition, greatly decreased the number of c-fos neurons explains needle transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation application on ipsilateral arthritic limb is more effective than that on contralateral arthritic limb.

      • 다발형 광섬유 센서 및 Tapered 섬광체 방사선 센서에 관한 연구

        Several types of gamma-ray sensors were constructed by packing different numbers of fibers into aluminum tubes, and tested to detect the ^(137)Cs gamma ray. It has been found from this investigation that tapered fibers can be more efficient to collect the lights produced inside the sensor and transfer them into the transmitting fiber. In order to predict the functioning of the tapered fiber, tapered plastic scintillators, composed of polystyrene with minute amount of dPOPOP and PPO or dPBD, were fabricated and tested for the detection of gamma rays from 1.0 1.5 3.0 5.0 μCi ^(137)Cs sources, and the pulse hight spectrum and the relationship between the radioactivity and the total counts are analyzed. It has been found from this study that the tapered scintillating optical fiber, if manufactured, can be practically applied to the development of gamma-ray sensors which can be deployed in μCi-level radiation fields.

        This research is about the tourist motivation, tourism satisfaction and revisiting intention of the beach in Busan. Various kinds of tourist motivation and tourist studies have been progressed vigorously at the existing general tourist resorts. But, unfortunately, studies about beaches have been implemented more less than other tourist resorts, compared with high degree of the ocean tourism resources dependency, advantage of geographical condition of peninsula. That's why people in Busan need to keep the attractions in more accurate and concrete way, why a number of tourists visit the beach and what attracts many people to this beautiful city, Busan. As a result, four factors need to be investigated on this research through tourists' visiting the beach representing Busan. First, I studied whether Push factors affect Tourism Satisfaction was investigated. Second, whether Pull factor affect Tourism Satisfaction was examined. At last, was investigated whether Tourism Satisfaction affect Revisiting Intention.

        암환자의 일차간호제공가족의 스트레스 인지평가 영향 요인 분석

        Purpose: The objectives for this study were to identify the factors that correlate with appraisal of illness and to explore what variables are predictive of cancer patients primary caregivers' cognitive appraisal for stress. Method: The subjects were selected by convenient sampling and 130 caregivers who completed a questionnaire. Measures used in this study included the Family Inventory of Resources for Management, Social Support Index, Family Crisis Oriented Personal Evaluation Scales and Family Coping Coherence Index. Pearson correlation was used to identify the relationship among factors and multiple regression was used to determine the individual and cumulative effect of potential predictors on the caregivers' appraisal. Results: Patient's level of activity, severity of the disease, quality of relation between patient and caregiver, caregiver's subjective health status, economic status, family resources and coping were significantly correlated. Among the variables, coping, family resources, economic status and quality of relation between caregiver and patient predicted 49.2 percent of the variance in appraisal of caregivers' stress condition. Conclusion: These findings suggest that coping mechanisms and family resources are important for positive appraisal. Nurses should provide adequate nursing care for the primary caregiver about professional care information and supportive counseling.
