        Uncovering Microstructure Evolution and Dynamic Softening Mechanism of Spray-Deposited AlZnMgCu Alloy Under Thermal Deformation

        Dynamic softening behavior has been of great concern in the aluminum alloys, which served a vital role in affecting themicrostructure, deformation resistance and the final mechanical properties. In this paper, spray deposition was applied tomanufacture AlZnMgCu alloy to refine the casting microstructure and reduce segregation. The microstructure responses andcorresponding mechanism during the thermal compression with various temperatures and various strain rates were multiscalecharacterized and uncovered using high-resolution EBSD. The results revealed that many broken and fine grains wereobserved in the uneven and jagged grain boundaries under the low temperatures and high strain rates, which indicated theoccurrence of partial discontinuous dynamic recrystallization (DDRX). In addition, high density dislocations were formedat original grain boundaries, where great amount of low angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) were appeared. With temperatureincreased and strains rate decreased, the LAGBs would evolve to the high angle grain boundaries (HAGBs) owing to theconsiderable dislocations migrated to the grain boundaries then accumulated, which triggered the occurrence of continuousdynamic recrystallization (CDRX). Two different dynamic recrystallization types were observed and factors that influenceddifferent dynamic recrystallization behaviors were clearly elaborated, and the corresponding mechanism was indicateddetailly.

        A Diversified Message Type Forwarding Strategy Based on Reinforcement Learning in VANET

        The development of Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET) has greatly improved the efficiency and safety of social transportation, and the routing strategy for VANET has also received high attention from both academia and industry. However, studies on dynamic matching of routing policies with the message types of VANET are in short supply, which affects the operational efficiency and security of VANET to a certain extent. This paper studies the message types in VANET and fully considers the urgency and reliability requirements of message forwarding under various types. Based on the diversified types of messages to be transmitted, and taking the diversified message forwarding strategies suitable for VANET scenarios as behavioral candidates, an adaptive routing method for the VANET message types based on reinforcement learning (RL) is proposed. The key parameters of the method, such as state, action and reward, are reasonably designed. Simulation and analysis show that the proposed method could converge quickly, and the comprehensive performance of the proposed method is obviously better than the comparison methods in terms of timeliness and reliability.

        Thermal Stability of Precipitates in Al-2.8wt%Cu-1.4wt%Li Alloy

        The microstructures and mechanical properties of Al-2.8 wt%Cu-1.4 wt%Li-T87 alloy after thermal exposure at 125, 150and 175 °C were measured and characterized by universal testing machine, scanning electron microscope and transmissionelectron microscope. The thermal stability of microstructures and mechanical properties of T87 heat-treated Al-2.8 wt%Cu-1.4 wt%Li alloy was investigated. The results show that the tensile strength of Al-2.8 wt%Cu-1.4 wt%Li-T87 alloy increasedfirst and then decreased with the increase of thermal exposure temperature, which is due to the change of the number and sizeof precipitates. After thermal exposure at 125 °C, the alloy exhibited higher strength due to further precipitation of θ′ phaseand stable size of T1phase. After thermal exposure at 175 °C, the mechanical properties of Al-2.8 wt%Cu-1.4 wt%Li-T87alloy decreased obviously, which was related to the dissolution of θ' phase and thickening of T1phase.

        An Improved Lightweight Two-Factor Authentication and Key Agreement Protocol with Dynamic Identity Based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography

        With the rapid development of the Internet of Things, the problem of privacy protection has been paid great attention. Recently, Nikooghadam et al. pointed out that Kumari et al.’s protocol can neither resist off-line guessing attack nor preserve user anonymity. Moreover, the authors also proposed an authentication supportive session initial protocol, claiming to resist various vulnerability attacks. Unfortunately, this paper proves that the authentication protocols of Kumari et al. and Nikooghadam et al. have neither the ability to preserve perfect forward secrecy nor the ability to resist key-compromise impersonation attack. In order to remedy such flaws in their protocols, we design a lightweight authentication protocol using elliptic curve cryptography. By way of informal security analysis, it is shown that the proposed protocol can both resist a variety of attacks and provide more security. Afterward, it is also proved that the protocol is resistant against active and passive attacks under Dolev-Yao model by means of Burrows-Abadi-Needham logic (BAN-Logic), and fulfills mutual authentication using Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols and Applications (AVISPA) software. Subsequently, we compare the protocol with the related scheme in terms of computational complexity and security. The comparative analytics witness that the proposed protocol is more suitable for practical application scenarios.
