Experiment study of structural random loading identification by the inverse pseudo excitation method
Guo, Xing-Lin,Li, Dong-Sheng Techno-Press 2004 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.18 No.6
The inverse pseudo excitation method is used in the identification of random loadings. For structures subjected to stationary random excitations, the power spectral density matrices of such loadings are identified experimentally. The identification is based on the measured acceleration responses and the structural frequency response functions. Numerical simulation is used in the optimal selection of sensor locations. The proposed method has been successfully applied to the loading identification experiments of three structural models, two uniform steel cantilever beams and a four-story plastic glass frame, subjected to uncorrelated or partially correlated random excitations. The identified loadings agree quite well with actual excitations. It is proved that the proposed method is quite accurate and efficient in addition to its ability to alleviate the ill conditioning of the structural frequency response functions.

An LC-MS/MS method was established for simultaneous identification of levels of bilpaterol, cimbuterol, clenproperol, and bambuterol in goat and beef muscle. Meat samples were subjected to extraction using an aqueous acidic solution and cleansed using MCX solid phase extraction. β2-Agonists residues were extracted using an aqueous acidic solution. Proteins in extraction liquids was removed based on adjusting pH using perchloric acid and a sodium hydroxide solution, followed by SPE for clean-up. Linearity values of the method based on R2 values were 0.9976-0.9997 with 70.1-108.8% recovery and relative standard deviation values of 3.5-13.3%. Low limits of detection (LOD) and quantitation (LOQ) of 0.01-0.02 and 0.02-0.08 μg/kg, respectively, were achieved for spiked goat and spiked beef muscle. The method was sensitive and specific and is an improvement over other currently available technologies.

A novel supramolecular network containing binuclear copper unit $[Cu(phen)_{2}({\mu}-ID\;A)Cu(phen){\cdot}(NO_{3})](NO_{3}){\cdot}4(H_{2}O)$ (1) was synthesized through the self-assembly of iminodiacetic acid ($H_2IDA$) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) in the condition of pH = 6. It has been characterized by the infrared (IR) spectroscopy, elemental analysis, single crystal X-ray diffraction, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). 1 shows a 2-D supramolecular structure assembled through strong and unique $\pi-\pi$ packing interactions. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations show that theoretical optimized structures can well reproduce the experimental structure. The TGA and powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) curves indicate that the complex 1 can maintain the structural integrity even at the loss of free water molecules. The magnetic property is also reported in this paper.
Microfinance Interest Rate Puzzle: Price Rationing or Panic Pricing?
Lin Guo,조호제 한국증권학회 2017 Asia-Pacific Journal of Financial Studies Vol.46 No.2
We examine the relation between microfinance institution (MFI) interest rates, loan loss rates, and regulations. Our results suggest that a positive and causal association exists where loan loss rates drive MFI interest rates after controlling for confounding factors. This positive association holds after accounting for potential endogeneity based on various econometric methods and quasi-natural experiment. Although endogeneity cannot be ruled out fully, the results of our tests suggest it plays a limited role. Our results support the price-rationing proposition that MFIs ration credit and there is unmet demand at the market-clearing price. This positive relation is more pronounced in countries with individualistic and uncertainty avoiding cultures.

We examine the relation among microfinance institution (MFI) interest rates, loan loss rates, and regulations. Our results suggest that a positive and causal association exists where loan loss rates drive MFI interest rates after controlling for confounding factors. This positive association holds after accounting for potential endogeneity and reverse causality based on various econometric methods. Although endogeneity cannot be ruled out fully, the results of our tests suggest it plays a limited role. Our results support the price-rationing proposition that MFIs ration credit and there is unmet demand at the market-clearing price, but MFIs know that only entrepreneurs with a higher probability of default will take loans at higher interest rates. In addition, our results suggest that the positive association between MFI interest rates and loan loss rates is more pronounced in countries with individualistic and uncertainty-avoiding cultures as well as in countries with more human capital development.

Folate-modi¯ed iron ferrite nanoparticles with high doxorubicin loading (FDMP) were developedfor dual targeting of tumor cells. Large quantities of doxorubicin and folate ligand were chemi-cally coupled to the synthesized dual-functional magnetic nanoparticles by using the multihandcross-linker poly-L-glutamic acid. FDMP exhibits high drug loading ability, narrow size distri-bution and pH sensitivity to drug release. The drug loading ratio and the magnetic response canbe adjusted by controlling the reactant ratio. FDMP possesses high magnetic-guided ability andexhibits enhanced uptake by folate receptors expressing tumor cells and increased cancer cellcytotoxicity.
Anisotropic In-plane Resistivity and Magnetoresistance of the Detwinned BaFe2As2
Lin Jiao,Zong Fa Weng,Xue Yan Tang,Lu Kai Guo,Tian Shang,Lin Yang,Hui Qiu Yuan,Yu Ying Wu,Zheng Cai Xia 한국물리학회 2013 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.63 No.3
We have measured the electrical resistivity and the magnetoresistance of detwinned BaFe2As2single crystals in fields up to 16 Tesla. The temperature dependence of the resistivity shows acounterintuitive anisotropic behavior in the ab-plane, likely arising from the effect of the nematicsusceptibility. Little magnetoresistance is observed at temperatures above the structural/magnetictransition, below which a huge in-plane magnetoresistance with an anisotropy is detected.
Fault Location Scheme for Over-Zone Feeding Operation Condition on High-Speed Railway
Lin Guo-song,Quan Wei,Tong Xiao-yang 대한전기학회 2022 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.17 No.2
Cross-coupling autotransformer (AT) feeding system is applied on high-speed electrifi ed railways in China. According to operation requirement, ‘over-zone feeding operation condition’ exists. When fault occurs on this operation condition, the fault location system should adjust its original scheme to adapt. We analyzed the shortcoming in traditional fault location of this feeding mode. Analysis indicates that when fault occurs in the non-over-zone section, fault location can be well done by existing principle and when fault occurs in the over-zone section, a new fault location scheme must be proposed. Based on the analysis of circuit networks of over-zone section in this feeding mode, the feeder current ratio of up line and down line in sectioning post (SP) is derived when fault occurs in section from SP to AT post 2 (ATP2) and the port impedance at ATP2 is derived when fault occurs in section from ATP2 to substation 2 (SS2). A reasonable fault location scheme was proposed for over-zone section based on feeder current ratio method of up line and down line and port impedance method in this paper. The simulation results based on Matlab/Simulink showed that when fault occurs on over-zone section the fault position can be located accurately according to this novel fault location scheme
