        The Impact of Factors FormingEmployee Service Attitude on Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty in the Hotel Industry

        Purpose: This study investigates the effects of hotel employees’ service attitude on service quality and examines the relationships among hotel employees’ service attitude, service quality, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. Design/methodology/approach: A survey was administered to hotel employees in Tianjin, China. Factor analysis and regression analysis were used to test the effects and the relationships. Findings: Results show that emotional intelligence and role clarity have significant effects on service quality and customer satisfaction. However, job satisfaction does not, which is quite different from previous studies observed other than hotel employees in Tianjin, China. It means job satisfaction for the hotel employee in this region is just a factor of basic requirement to work, not a factor of improving service quality. This study also finds that service quality and customer satisfaction have a significant influence on customer loyalty. Research limitations/implications: This study was limited to hotel employees in Tianjin, China. This study concludes that hotel management needs to be more attentive to employees’ emotional intelligence and role clarity in order to attract or retain loyal customers and keep them satisfied. Originality/value: This study identified the relationship between employees’ service attitude and service quality, customer satisfaction and loyalty. Knowledge of these relationships can guide managers in China’s new hotel market.

        중국인 관광객의 한국 명동 이미지 인지에 관한 연구-네트워크 텍스트 분석을 중심으로

        온라인 리뷰는 정보 통신 기술의 급속한 발전을 전제로 이미 목적지 이미지를 인지하는 중요한 경로가 되었다. 본 연구에서는 웹 크롤러 기술(Web Crawler Technology)을 반으로 중국인 관광객의 온라인 리뷰를 분석 텍스트로 활용하였다. 명동 이미지에 대한 중국 관광객의 인식을 파악하기 위해 인지-정석 이론을 기반으로 Rost Content Mining6을 분석 소프트웨어로 사용하였다. 고빈도 단어 분석, 시맨틱 네트워크 분석 및 정석 분석이 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서는 웹 크롤러(Web Crawler)를 통한 2019년 1월 1일부터 2023년 9월1일까지, Ctrip, Mafengwo, Tongcheng, Qunar 사이트 중 한국 명동 온라인 리뷰를 선정하여 총 730건의 관광객 리뷰를 작성하였다. 웹 크롤러는 온라인 리뷰 등 방대한 양의웹파일을 특정 웹페이지에서 자동으로 수집하는 기술이다[27]. 주제와 무관하게 중복된 잘못된 정보를 제거한 후 최종적으로 총 668건의 네트워크 리뷰 텍스트를 얻었다. 연구결과에 따르면, 쇼핑 천국은 관광객이 느끼는 명동의 이미지로 레저 오락, 환경 분위기, 관광 시설 및 서비스, 관광 체험 및 평가의 네 가지 차원으로 표현되었다. 그 중 쇼핑은 관광객이 가장 깊이 느끼고 긍정적인 감정이 가장 집중된 카테고리이다. 부정적인 감정은 주로 단일 체험 활동, 낮은 가성비, 많은 사람들이 줄을 서는 등의 측면에서 나타났다. With the rapid development of communication technology, online reviews have become an important channel to obtain the perception of destination image. From this point of views, this current study investigated Chinese tourists’ perception of tourism image in Myeongdong; and Chinese tourists’ overall perception and emotional evaluation of Myeongdong tourism. Also, this study was based on web crawler technology to obtain online reviews of Chinese tourists as an analytical text. To understand the Chinese tourists' perception of Myeongdong destination image, based on cognitive-emotion theory, Rost Content Mining 6 software is used for high-frequency words analysis, semantic analysis and emotion analysis. A total of 730 tourist reviews were posted by online reviews of Myeong-dong in Korea from the Ctrip, Mafengwo, Tongcheng, and Qunar sites between January 1, 2019 and September 1, 2023. After removing redundant and incorrect information unrelated to the topic, a total of 668 network review texts were finally obtained. It is found that shopping paradise is the image of Mingdong perceived by tourists, which is embodied in four dimensions: leisure and entertainment, environmental atmosphere, facilities and services, and experience evaluation. Among them, shopping is the category of tourists' most profound perception and most concentrated positive emotion. The negative feelings are mainly reflected in the aspects of single experience activity, low cost performance, and many people queuing up. Limitations and future research directions of the study were also discussed.

        Design of a compact long-stroke high-precision rigid-flexible coupling motion stage driven by linear motor

        This paper proposes a long-stroke rigid-flexible coupling motion stage (RFCMS) that employs flexure hinges to compensate the friction dead zone through elastic deformation. Specifically, based on the need for a motion stage with a compact structure, this paper proposes a new rigid-flexible coupling structure (RFCS) design with a horizontally installed linear motor and asymmetric flexure hinges. Further, end leaf springs are introduced to enhance the stiffness in the non-motion direction. In addition, the nonlinear interior-point optimization method is used to obtain the optimal structural parameters of the flexure hinges for higher deformation uniformity. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed design, a motion stage benchmarked with Aerotech's PRO190LM (stroke, 500 mm) is developed, which realizes bidirectional repeatability (BR) of ±0.25 μm. The BR is improved by 37.5 %. Moreover, the deformation uniformity of the stage is ±3.7 %, which proves that the proposed RFCMS can achieve high deformation uniformity and high precision.

        Investigation on MRR and Machining Gap of Micro Reciprocated Wire-EDM for SKD11

        In this paper, the investigational work is carried out on the micro reciprocated wire electrical discharge machining (wire-EDM) of SKD11 using circularly travelled wire with Φ30 μm as tool electrode, aiming to achieve the fabrication of micro parts with high cost-effect, efficiency and precision. The experiments are systematically performed using central composite design approach of response surface methodology to study the effect of open voltage, discharge capacitance, pulse duration and feed rate on material removal rate (MRR) and machining gap. The mathematical models of MRR and machining gap are developed by analysis of variance, and whilst verified by confirmation experiments with ≤ 8.38% and 6.70% prediction errors for MRR and machining gap, respectively. Besides, multi-objective optimization of parameter combinations is attempted by non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II. Finally, a typical experimental sample, micro gear is successfully machined with 1194.38 μm tip diameter under the condition of No. 14 optimal solution.

        Numerical Simulation of the Twist Deformation for the Stiffened Panel with Laser Forming

        In the laser forming process of the panel with crossed reinforcing bars (PWCRB), a kind of stiffened panel, twisting of the panel occurred when it was formed under the integral continuous scanning strategy (ICSS). The twisting was restrained obviously when the middle stiffener was heated. In order to reveal the twisting mechanism, a FE model was established and corresponding simulations were conducted. Furthermore, an equivalent model of the sectional structure was established, and a model of the buckling critical load of the stiffener was established based on principle of minimum potential energy. It revealed that the buckling critical load of the middle stiffener was smaller than that of the marginal stiffener. The simulation results showed that the stiffeners suffered from pressure and bending moment during the forming process, which tended to induce the buckling of the stiffeners. Besides, the residual stress of the middle stiffener was larger than that of the marginal stiffener. The bending angle of the middle stiffener increased when it was heated. Besides, the lateral-torsional deformation of the middle stiffener decreased and the twisting of the panel was restrained. It demonstrated that the twisting phenomenon of the PWCRB was caused by the middle stiffener, which suffered from lateral-torsional buckling when the panel was formed with the ICSS.

        Analyses of Effects of Process Parameters on Laser Bending of Stiffened Panels

        In this paper, laser forming technology was extended to form the stiffened panels. Compared with the plate with constant thickness, the stiffened panel was a type of panel with complicated structure and was hard to form. In order to gain a profound insight into the deformation characteristics of the stiffened panel under laser forming, a finite element model was established. The effects of process parameters on the deformation characteristics were investigated in terms of temperature distribution, stress and strain distribution. The influences of the process parameters on the unexpected deformation were analyzed by analyzing the influences of the process parameters on the maximum temperature theoretically. The results showed that laser spot diameter had the most important effect on the maximum temperature followed by the laser power and scanning speed. So when the scanning speed changed, the variation of the difference of the plastic strain between the top and bottom surface was the smallest.When the laser spot diameter decreased, the increment of the maximum temperature, the plastic strain as well as the deformation of the middle position of the scanning path was the largest. The increase of the deformation of the middle position of the scanning path could decrease the degree of the nonuniformity of the deformation of the free end, namely increasing the quality of the formed panel.

        A new-type photocatalyst of cadmium sul¯de carbon nanotubes (CdS/CNTs) was prepared bythe hydrothermal method. This as-prepared CdS/CNTs composite photocatalyst was proved toexhibit an excellent photocatalytic activity for degradation of tetracycline (TC). Specially, the95%-CdS – 5%-CNTs composite photocatalyst played the best degradation rate (81.2%) in 60 minunder the visible light irradiation. Moreover, this 95%-CdS – 5%-CNTs composite photocatalystpossessed great stability and could be used at least four cycles with almost no loss of photo-catalytic e±ciency. Furthermore, the as-synthesized CdS/CNTs composite photocatalyst wascharacterized by X-ray di®raction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV-Visdi®used re°ectance spectra (UV-Vis), Raman and thermal gravimetry (TG). In addition, thepossible mechanism and kinetics of photodegradation of TC with CdS/CNTs photocatalyst wasalso discussed.

        Intracellular Localization and Sustained Prodrug Cell Killing Activity of TAT-HSVTK Fusion Protein in Hepatocelullar Carcinoma Cells

        Gene therapy with nonviral vectors using the suicide gene/prodrug activating system of herpes simplex virus type-1 thymidine kinase (HSV1-TK)/ganciclovir (GCV) is inefficient in killing malignant tumor cells due to two major factors: (a) an unsatisfactory bystander effect; (b) short-lived expression of the protein. To study the capacity of the protein transduction domain (PTD) of HIV-1 TAT protein to enhance HSV1-TK/GCV cancer gene therapy, we constructed three fusion proteins TAT-TK, TK-TAT and TK. TATTK retained as much enzyme activity as TK, whereas that of TK-TAT was much lower. TAT-TK can enter HepG2 cells and much of it is translocated to the nucleus. The transduced HepG2 cells are killed by exogenously added GCV and have bystander effects on untransduced HepG2 cells. Most importantly, the introduced recombinant protein is stable and remains functional for several days at least, probably because nuclear localization protects it from the cytoplasmic degradation machinery and provides access to the nuclear transcription machinery. Our results indicate that TAT fusion proteins traffic intercellularly and have enhanced stability and prodrug cell killing activity. We conclude that TAT has potential for enhancing enzyme prodrug treatment of liver cancers.
