This research analyzed the tourism expectation of Shanghai tourists and residents, as well as the differences between tourists and residents’ tourism expectation focusing on 2010 Shanghai EXPO. This study revealed that factor analysis selected 5 tourism expectation factors (infrastructural & environmental factor, positive attitude factor, social phenomenon factor, economic factor and price & real estate factor). Among Shanghai tourists and residents’ demographic characteristics, except gender, the other demographic variables like age, educational level, marital level and Occupation all had obvious differences with the 5 expectation factors; T test analysis also revealed the obvious differences from Shanghai tourists and local residents on the tourism expectation and the visiting decision making. In the end the insufficiency of this study is put forward and recommendations on the future study are also given. 방한 중국관광객이 지각한 서울관광지이미지가 관광만족도와 충성도에 미친 영향에 관한 연구

Typically we can not see it intangibly in the pre-purchase. When compared tourism product to other products, we swallow the uncertain and risk purchase in large quantity. Therefore, tourists' expectations for tourism attractions based on the image, active and intensive navigation through the tourists' information that they need to travel, they will get the positive and unique tourism attractions and they will select the good image.The study selected Chinese tourists as target population, and tried to find the impacts of tourism destination image of Seoul, tourism satisfaction & tourism loyalty to Seoul. Literature research and survey were used in this study.Among Chinese tourists' demographic characteristics, except gender, age, income, the other variables like educational level, marital level and jobs all have obvious differences with tourism destination image of Seoul.Multi- regression analysis also revealed that tourism destination image of Seoul has a positive correlation with tourism satisfaction & tourism loyalty. In the end the insufficiency of this study is put forward and recommendations on the future study are also given. In-plane vibration analysis of cantilevered circular arc beams undergoing rotational motion

Equations of motion of cantilevered circular arc beams undergoing rotational motion are derived based on a dynamic modeling method developed in this paper. Kane’s method is employed to derive the equations of motion. Different from the classical linear modeling method which employs two cylindrical deformation variables, the present modeling method employs a non-cylindrical variable along with a cylindrical variable to describe the elastic deformation. The derived equations (governing the stretching and the bending motions) are coupled but linear, so they can be directly used for vibration analysis. The coupling effect between the stretching and the bending motions, which could not be considered in the conventional modeling method, is considered in this modeling method. The effects of rotational speed, arc angle, and hub radius ratio on the natural frequencies of the rotating circular arc beam are investigated through numerical analysis.

The Paley-type inequalities for the complete convergence and lower and upper bounds in the Baum-Katz law of large numbers for i.i.d. random variables sequence are obtained. The results obtained generalize the result of Pruss [8].
Analysis of higher order composite beams by exact and finite element methods

In this paper, a two-layer partial interaction composite beams model considering the higher order shear deformation of sub-elements is built. Then, the governing differential equations and boundary conditions for static analysis of linear elastic higher order composite beams are formulated by means of principle of minimum potential energy. Subsequently, analytical solutions for cantilever composite beams subjected to uniform load are presented by Laplace transform technique. As a comparison, FEM for this problem is also developed, and the results of the proposed FE program are in good agreement with the analytical ones which demonstrates the reliability of the presented exact and finite element methods. Finally, parametric studies are performed to investigate the influences of parameters including rigidity of shear connectors, ratio of shear modulus and slenderness ratio, on deflections of cantilever composite beams, internal forces and stresses. It is revealed that the interfacial slip has a major effect on the deflection, the distribution of internal forces and the stresses.
A FACILE SYNTHESIS OF SHAPE- AND SIZE-CONTROLLED α-Fe_2O_3 NANOPARTICLES THROUGH HYDROTHERMAL METHOD

α-Fe_2O_3 nanoparticles have wide-ranging applications such as in catalysis, sensoring, painting, etc. This is the reason to study their controlled synthesis. Here we have investigated the synthesis of uniform α-Fe_2O_3nanoparticles using amino acids as morphology control agents. The products were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). It was found that the type and the amount of amino acids as well as the reaction temperatures have significant influence on the shape and size of the obtainedα-Fe_2O_3nanoparticles. The use of acidic amino acids (always contain C=O in the side chain) typically leads to the formation of α-Fe_2O_3nanoparticles with spindle shape. However, rhombohedrally shaped α-Fe_2O_3nanoparticles were formed in presence of basic amino acids (always contain -NH_2 in the side chain). Increasing the amount of amino acid generally results in α-Fe_2O_3nanoparticles with decreasing particle sizes.
Stability analysis of rock slopes using strength reduction adaptive finite element limit analysis

The main aim of this study is to propose an effective approach to conduct the stability analysis of rock slopes. Based on the strength reduction technology, the recent developed adaptive finite element limit analysis is adopted to investigate the stability of rock slopes for the first time. The rock mass strength is described by the latest generalized Hoek-Brown failure criterion. To better estimate the rock slope stability, the rock mass disturbance D and slope angle β are also incorporated into the determination of factor of safety by implementing the disturbance weighting factor ζ and the slope angle weighting factor fβ, respectively. The factors of safety obtained from this study are validated by those from existing works based on two real slope cases. For practical use, the factors of safety for the cases of β=45° in undisturbed rock masses are provided in the form of design charts. Finally, a set of design charts for ζ and a fitting formula for fβ are presented and discussed.
STUDY ON CHINESE TOURISTS' MOTIVATION AND SATISFACTION TO VISIT SOUTH KOREA

The purposes of this study are to identify the Chinese tourists' profiles, motivation factors, satisfaction levels and to assess the important detenninants and the likelihood of Chinese tourists revisiting Korea. A structured personal interview was conducted and a systematic sampling approach was used to select 240 respondents who were traveling by air. This study identified the major tourism motivations of Chinese tourists; the relationship between tourists' demographic characteristics and motivation factors; the relationship between demographic characteristics and satisfaction levels; motivation has a positive effect on satisfaction; satisfaction has a positive effect on revisit and motivation has a positive effect on revisit. In the end the limitations of this study are discussed and recommendations for future study are made.
