Hot Deformation Behavior and Recrystallization Mechanism in an As-Cast CoNi-Based Superalloy

The hot deformation behavior of as-cast CoNi-based superalloy was investigated by means of hot compression tests. Thecorresponding microstructure evolution after hot deformation was examined by optical microscope, as well as the TEMtechnique. The constitutive equation and processing map as a function of deformation temperature and strain rate were developed. Results show that the efficiency peak of the processing map is 0.38 at the temperature of 1130 °C and the strain rate of0.01 s−1. The discontinuous dynamic recrystallization (DDRX) related to the strain-induced grain boundary migration (SIBM)is the dominant recrystallization mechanism during hot working. Meanwhile, the DRX also occurs by forming sub-grainsaround MC carbides and shear band. In addition, the existence of fine γ′ precipitates are found to retard the recrystallization.

Severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) is a life-threatening syndrome of recurrent infections and gastrointestinal alterations due to severe compromise of T cells and B cells. Clinically, most patients present symptoms before the age of 3 months and without intervention SCID usually results in severe infections and death by the age of 2 years. Its association with intestinal anomalies as multiple intestinal atresias (MIA) is rare and worsens the prognosis, resulting lethal. We describe the case of a four year-old boy with SCID-MIA. He presented at birth with meconium peritonitis, multiple ileal atresias and underwent several intestinal resections. A targeted Sanger sequencing revealed a homozygous 4-bp deletion (c.313ΔTATC; p.Y105fs) in tetratricopeptide repeat domain 7A (TTC7A). He experienced surgical procedures including resection and stricturoplasty. Despite parenteral nutrition-associated liver disease, the patient is surviving at the time of writing the report. Precocious immune system assessment, scrutiny of TTC7A mutations and prompt surgical procedures are crucial in the management.

This study is about Lyotard's essay “Answering the Question: What is Postmodernism?” Many definitions of postmodernism focus on its nature as the aftermath of the industrial age in the Western culture. Lyotard, in his essay, discursively observes how reality in art and literature is ebbing in the present Western society which is variously called media society, consumer society, bureaucratic society of controlled consumption, postindustrial society, etc. He puts under suspicion Habermas who demands communicative consensus, believing that it results in totality and terror. And he defends artistic experimentation of avantgardes, basing his arguments on Kant's aesthetics of the sublime.

멕시코革命과 文學 : 멕시코 혁명소설의 人物을 中心으로

멕시코혁명소설이란 1910년에서 1920년까지 지속되었던 멕시코혁명 현장의 기록을 중심으로, 혁명 전과 그 이후의 현상까지도 주제로 하여 1915년에서 1962년 사이에 발표된 30여권의 소설을 의미한다. 멕시코혁명에 관한 소설이니 혁명소설로 구분해야겠으나, 통념적인 혁명소설은 기존체제의 정치적 붕괴를 목적으로 폭력을 수반한 물리적 집단행위를 선동 고무 찬양하는 소설로 인식되고 있기 때문에, 이런 개념과 근본적으로 내용을 달리하는 멕시코혁명소설을 오해하기가 쉽다. H.D. Laswell교수의 정의에 의하면, 혁명이란 역사발전에 따라 체제의 변혁을 목적으로 피지배층이 지배층을 비합법적인 방법으로 탈취하는 권력교체의 형식을 뜻하며, 정치혁명은 권력기구의 급격한 교체인 반면, 사회혁명은 정치혁명의 전후에 발생하는 지배내용의 급변을 뜻한다. 그런데 혁명과 문학의 관계를 이론과 실천면에서 정립한 권위적 인물은 드물며, 여기에서는 러시아혁명의 주동인물로서 멘세비키당의 당수였던 레온 트로츠키 Leon Trotsky의 혁명문학이론에 근거하여 멕시코혁명소설을 조망하려고 한다.

한국 도시민의 정치의식과 태도에 관한 연구

본 연구는 도시민들의 정치의식과 태도에 관한 연구를 위해 전 국 14개 중소도시의 도시민들을 설문 조사하였다. 지방정부에 대한 정치의식의 정도는 관심도가 중간정도에서 약간 상위하는 평균 3.14로 나타나고 있으며 효능감과 기여도, 만족도는 중간정도에 약간 미치지 못하는 분석의 결과이다. 또한 지방 정부에 대한 지식도를 묻는 내용에서는 평균 0.93 정도로 1명 이하로 조사되었다. 지역문제에 대한 정보경로는 시정홍보지와 인터넷 순이고, 지역 유력인사 활동요소에는 개인적 자질과 도덕성을 우선으로 고려하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 지역 도시민의 온정 주의와 지역차별에서는 희생가치가 중간이하로 응답한 반면 눈치가치는 중간정도 온정주의도 중간이하로 응답하고 있다. 지역차별 문제에 대해서는 경상도 지역 도시민과 전라도 지역 도시민이 서로 상대적으로 상이한 응답의 결과를 보이고 있음을 이번 연구조사를 통하여 알 수 있었다. 결국 본 연구는 전국 14개 지역 도시민들의 정치의식과 태도에 대한 연구결과는 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나 지역차별에 관한 내용에서는 경상도와 전라도 간의 상대적 차별이 크게 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 플라즈마에서 필러멘테이션 불안정에 대한 음이온 효과

Filamentation of an electromagnetic wave in a plasma with negative ions is treated theoretically through the collisionless three-fluid model. The threshold intensity required by the instability is raised and the growth rate above the threshold is lowered, by negative ions. After all, the filamentation instability may be said to be weakened by the presence of negative ions. However, if the pump intensity is high enough to change the plasma property, the instability growth rate may be enhanced by negative ions. The less the particle mass of negative ions relative to that of positive ions, the more prominent the enhancement.

중국인 학습자의 말하기 대회에 나타난 담화표지 사용 양상 연구

요즘 중국인 학습자의 수가 증가하여 중국어권 학습자에 대한 연구도 다른 언어권보다 더 많이 진행되고 있다. 담화표지는 의사소통에서 중요한 역할을 하기 때문에 학계에서 중국인 학습자의 담화표지 사용 양상에 대하여 관심이 많아지고 있다. 본 연구는 중국인 학습자를 대상으로 하여 말하기 대회에 나타난 담화표지 사용 양상을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 먼저, 말하기 대회의 동영상을 수집하고 전사함으로써 연구자료를 형성한다. 연구 자료에 나타난 담화표지를 조사 분석하고 출현빈도를 통계하였다. 그리고 담화표지의 유형을 형태적, 기능적으로 구분하여 사용 양상을 살펴보았다. 연구를 통하여 중국인 학습자는 화제 연결, 화제 전환과 같은 화제 층위의 담화표지를 가장 많이 사용하고 ‘-뿐만 아니라’, ‘그리고’등 전형적인 담화표지가 반복적으로 사용하였으며, 동일한 담화표지라도 다른 기능으로 사용하는 상황이 많다는 것을 밝혔다. 마지막으로, 본 연구 에서 한국어 교육에 대해 화제 연결, 화제 전환의 기능을 나타나는 담화표지를 강조하고 구어체 담화표지를 많이 도입할 것을 시사한다. Recently, the research on Chinese learners who speak Korean as foreign language has taken the top spot in comparison with other linguistic communities, due to the increasing population of such Korean-language speakers from China. Admittedly, the importance of discourse markers is known to all, which gives rise to the curiosity from academic world on how those discourse markers are employed by Chinese learners of Korean. This study focuses on Chinese learners to figure out how those discourse markers are used in speaking contests. In order to form the research materials, the frist step of this research is to collect videos of various speaking contests and transform it into files in a way of phonetic transcription. Then this study captures all those discourse markers and calculates the frequency of all kinds of discourse markers in research materials. Moreover, this study distinguishes discourse markers by form and function in the context of the communication. What this analysis find are that a) the most frequently-used type of discourse markers are topic connection one and topic transition one in the topic level; b) the frequent use some typical discourse markers such as "-뿐만 아니라”, "그리고”etc; c) one kind of discourse markers are often can be used in different situations. Finally, this study calls on the more emphasis on discourse markers of topic connection and topic transition in Korean language education, suggesting to import more colloquial discourse markers on such education.

Thomas Hardy의 抒情詩 : The Source of the Resonant Power 그 感動의 源泉

This study aims to examine the source of the moving power in Hary's lyrical poems. It is obvious that in the development of modern poetry Hardy has been underestimated. Judgements on his poetry have generally been unfavorable in two respects: either philosophical or stylistic. His philosophy has been criticised because cricics think that it is wicked and full of despair; for instance, David Daiches argues that Hardy gathers up all data he can find that encourage his pessimism and throws them carelessly at the face of Heaven and his public. His style has been criticised because it is neither poetic nor the result of the application of any theories about style. But a close examination shows that his thoughts and feelings expressed in his lyrical poems are profoundly honest. He refuses to shut his eyes to the unwelcome because he believes that he cannot turn to religion for comfort without knowing what evil is. This integrity insists that what seems true of life, however terrible, should not be excluded from poetry. His lyrical poetry is the product of this sincerity to his thoughts and feelings, a fidelity to life and experience. Certainly in his lyrical poems the delicate, actue and accurate observation of nature and people, of emotional and psychological situation, is conveyed with disquieting honesty and boldness. His poetic impulse is far from trying to catch poetic grace and beauty for its own sake. Poetry should come as a reward of the truth of life. And his style is very simple and unpretentious. He realizes his "closesness of phrase to his vision", which is equivalent to Eliot's "objective correlative". His refusal or inability to put misery out of view is a direct corollary of his intense wish to justify life and joy, and the interaction of these two emotions is a major source of the resonant power in his lyrical poems. This refusal to edit experience in his poetry has been perhaps his most abiding and valuable legacy to his successors, whose ears are sharp to catch the faintest note of any chauvinistic or romantic humbug. His influence in the Postmodernist generation since the end of the Second World War is evidently reflected in the fact that they put great emphasis upon such values as clarity, realism, empirical honesty and rationalism in their poetry.

음이온이 포함된 다이온 플라즈마의 충돌없는 삼유체 모형에서의 파동들

In the collisionless three-fluid model of the multi-ion plasma composed of electrons, positive ions, and negative ions, analytical solutions of the dispersion relation are obtained using the perturbation method. Effects of the relative population ratios between negative ions and electrons on the propagations of the various waves are investigated. Thus seven solutions are shown to be peculiar to the presence of negative ions, as compared with the other multi-ion plasmas without negative ions. In particular, the usual ion acoustic wave ω=kvs is obtained even though ions and electrons have nearly the same temperatures, when the electron pupulation ratio is much less than one. Furthermore the plasma oscillation ω2= ωe2+ ω+2+ ω_2 incorporating all the three species is obtained when the electron population ratio is comparable to electron to ion mass ratio.
