In this study, a precipitation method, one of the most effective liquid phase reaction, was adopted in order to prepare high-tech Al₂O₃/ZrO₂ composite ceramics. Al₂(SO₄)₃·18H₂O, ZrOCl₂·8H₂O and YCl₃·6H₂O were used as starting materials and NH₄OH as a precipitation agent. Fine powders were prepared at optimum calcination condition. Sinterability of each fine powder and the effects of ZrO₂ on the grain size and mechanical properties of Al₂O₃ were investigated. The composition of Al₂O₃/ZrO₂ composites was fixed as Al₂O₃-15v/o ZrO₂(+3m/o Y₂O₃). The effect of MgO on the grain size of Al₂O₃ZrO₂ ceramics was also investigated.

본 연구는 2급 복합레진 수복 시 다양한 두께의 유동성 레진 이장이 법랑질 또는 상아질 치은측 변연부의 미세누출에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위하여 시행하였다. 발거된 상, 하악 대구치의 근심 또는 원심면에 2급 와동을 형성하고 혼성 복합레진만으로 충전한 군 (대조군)과 유동성 레진을 치은측에 0.5 ㎜ (실험 1군), 1 ㎜ (실험 2군), 2 ㎜ (실험 3군) 두께로 이장한 후 복합레진을 충전한 군으로 분류하였다. 각 군은 5℃와 55℃에서 500회 열순환을 시행한 후 2% methylene blue에 24시간 동안 침적시켜 광학 입체현미경하에서 변연부의 색소 침투를 관찰하였다. 본 연구의 결과 유동성 레진의 다양한 두께는 복합레진 수복물의 변연부 미세누출에 영향을 미쳤다. 복합레진을 이용한 구치부 2급 와동 수복 시 법랑질 또는 상아질 변연에서 0.5 ㎜ 두께로 유동성 레진을 적용하는 것이 미세누출 감소에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. This study investigated the effect of thickness of flowable resin lining on marginal leakage in class II composite restorations. 80 experimental teeth were prepared with class II preparations with enamel margin or dentin margin. Each group was devided into four groups according to flowable resin lining thickness ; Control group - no flowable resin lining, Group 1 - 0. 5 ㎜ flowable resin lining, Group 2-1 ㎜ flowable resin lining, Group 3 - 2 ㎜ flowable resin lining. The cavities were restored using Scotchbond Multi- Purpose adhesive system, Filtek Flow and Filtek Z 250 composite resin. Following one day storage in distilled water, the restored teeth were thermocycled for 500 cycles and immersed in 2% methylene blue for 24 hours. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Ranking of mean microleakage scores at the enamel margins was Group 1 < Control = Group 2 < GrouP 3. The microleakage of Group 3 was significantlv higher than that of Control, Group 1 and Group 2 (p < 0. 05). 2. Ranking of mean microleakage scores at the dentin margins was Group 1 < Group 2 < Control < Group 3. The microleakage of Group 3 was significantly higher than that of Control, Group 1 (p < 0. 05). 3. Compared with microleakage between the enamel and dentin margins, enamel margin group were significantly lower than dentin margin group.

In this study, a precipitation method, one of the most effective liquid phase reaction methods, was adopted in order to prepare high-tech Al₂O₃ceramics. Al₂(SO₄)₃·18H₂O was used as a starting material and NH₄OH as a precipitation agents. Various types of metal hydroxides were obtained by precipitation method at the pH condition between 7 and 11. Fine powders were prepared at optimum calcination condition after the properties of metal hydroxides on heat-treatment temperature were examined. The phases of aluminum hydroxides were changed from amorphous aluminum hydroxide to pseudo-boehmit of AlOOH form and bayerite, gibbsite, hydragillite and nordstrandite of Al(OH)₃form with increasing pH. Purity, average particle size and specific surface areas of α-Al₂O₃powders were 99.99%, 0.74-1.49 ㎛ and 11.1-17.4㎡/g, respectively α-Al₂O₃powders prepared in this study were soft agglomerates, and, therefore, average particle sizes were remarkably reduced to 0.06 - 0.12 ㎛ by mechanical crushing.

The immature teratoma is the third most commin germ cell tumor of the ovary. It contains a variable amount of immature tissue derived from the three germ cell layers-ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm. Most commonly the immature elements are neural origin. With the usage of chemotherapy following appropriate surgery, prognosis for patient with malignant germ cell tumor was improved considerably. We had experienced a case of immature teratoma of ovary. We report the case with review of the concerned literatures.

Alpha alumina powder with fine particle size and narrow particle size distribution was prepared by precipitation method using Al₂(SO₄)₃·18H₂O as a starting material. The alpha alumina powder was prepared by calcining aluminum hydroxide which was formed under various pH values. The sinterability of alpha alumina powder and the effect of MaO on the sinterability of alpha alumina powder were investigated. The sinterability of alpha alumina powder was the order of pH=10=pH=11>pH=7=pH=9 and alpha alumina obtained from boehmite which was prepared by precipitation method reached to 97.5% of theoretcal density by the pressureless sintering. The effect of MaO on volume shrinkage of alumina was very slight in the initial sintering stage but remarkable in the final sintering stage. It was also found that MgO controlled effectively the grain growth of alumina.
개솔새(Cymbopogen tortilis) 精油가 胃液分泌 및 胃運動에 미치는 影響

Cymbopogen tortilis is native weeds which is widely distributed in Korean fields and mountains and its flower contains a strong aromatic essential oil. It is known that the essential oil of Cymbopogen tortilis contains borneol, cadinene, camphene, and elemicin etc. But, there is no report about the effect of essential oil of Cymbopogen tortilis or its constituents on the gastric secretion and the gastric motility. To examine the effect of essential oil of Cymbopogen tortilis on the gastric secretion in rats and the gastric motility in pigeons, this paper was investigated. The results were as follows. The intraperitoneal administration of 1% essential oil solution of Cymbopogen tortilis at the ratio of 1.0ml, 0.5m1, 0.25ml/l00g B.W. to rat reduced their average gastric secretion volume to 2.1±0.29m1, 4.4±1.02m1, and 4.7±1.04ml respectively. In contrast to 9.5±1.3m1 of control rat's secretion. these numbers show 77.89%, 53.68% and 50.53% of gastric secretion inhibition rate. In pigeons, transient gastric inhibition which can be divided into 2 types was observed by the intraperitoneal injection of the drug at the same ratio to that of rats. In one type, gastric motility was inhibited in the state of transient gastric relaxation after drug administration, it recovered to normal with time. In the other type, gastric motility was inhibited transient gastric relaxation, soon its tone moved into contraction state, maintained this condition for some time, and this condition gradually recovered to normal. In conclusion, the essential oil of Cymbopogen tortilis inhibits strongly gastric secretion in rats and transiently gastric motility in pigeons.

This plan of rural housing-development is to present a new orientation for the residential culture that can meet the shifting demands of modern people as their attitudes toward naturalistic life. In this plan, sites of possible, a new housing complex is designed to supplement the site partition problem of existing housing complex by using attractiveness that the site has as a residence environment in housing planning. The conclusion can be summarized as follows. 1. Currently, most residential developments on slopes are planned with excessive slope cutting or filling on existing natural slopes rather than utilizing existing contours. In consideration of this, this proposed plan uses the existing contours of the slope to the maximum capacity in site planning. 2. The majority of the home site buyers are between the ages 30's to 50's of middle to high level incomes. Reflecting the financial needs of these families, home construction was planned by using building methods that require lower costs. 3. Reflected open-space furtherance maximum at design of community equipment for party's offer to sale in lots persons, from site purchase recognition of construction to in package sale in lots way select. 4. Considered to preserve existing natural-food life in way financial world stroke maximum, and accomplish creation with existing vegetation. Also, did planting considering privacy, and considered vegetation's environment adaptation degree because using midland style vegetation. 5. Garden wished to offer an opportunity that can make by oneself directly depending on each fondness and character to tenants. If is this intuition, wished to design, and maintained spur of housing development because housing development uses maximum natural history style comparing with other power jars all. Also, because considering people who move in housing-development, designed, and tried to make housing-development that want to live most offering the convenience.

A precipitation method was adopted in order to prepare high-tech Al₂O₃ceramics. Al₂(SO₄)₃·18H₂O was used as a starting materials and alumimum hydroxides were obtained by single precipitation method at the pH condition 7 and 11, using NH₄OH as a precipitation agent. Fine Al₂O₃powders were prepared at optimum calcination condition and were sintered at 1650℃ for 4 h in air. Microstructures and mechhanical properties of Al₂O₃ceramics were investigated. Doped MgO limited the grain growth of Al₂O₃and increased grain size homogeneity of Al₂O₃Flexural stregth values were 340∼430 MPa. Critical temperature difference?? was 175 K showing rapid strength degradation by thermal shock.

In this work the effect of Y₂O₃ content on Al₂O₃-ZrO₂ ceramics was studied and compared for coprecipitation and powder methods. Al₂O₃-ZrO₂ ceramics prepared by coprecipitation method showed the maximum M.O.R. value at 15 mole% ZrO₂ content for both 1.5 and 3 mole% Y₂O₃ addition, on the other hand, the ceramics prepared by powder method showed the increasing strength with increase of ZrO₂ content over the range of this work.

In this study, the relationship between substance use and high-novelty seeking was tested using Cloninger et al's 240-items Temperament and Character Inventory(TCI) in 34 substance users(32 methamphetamine and 2 cocaine dependence disorders), 80 normal controls and 48 schizophrenics Demographic characteristics and substance use-related past history were taken by semi-structured interview. Subjects were aged 18-45 and general psychopathology was screened by Symptom Checklist 90 revised. The results were as follows. 1) Among temperament subdivisions in the TCI, novelty seeking(NS) was significantly higher in the substance users(22.1±4.9) than the normal controls(18.0±5.0) and the schizophrenics(15.6±3.3). There were no significant differences in other temperament subdivisions such as harm avoidance, reward dependence and persistence, neither character subdivisions such as self-directiveness, cooperativeness and self- transcendence. 2) A significant inverse correlation was found between NS and age both in the substance users(r=0.274) and the normal controls(r=0.468). This study suggested that the biogenetic temperament characteristics in substance use disorder were related with their high novelty seeking, not low harm avoidance.
