스포츠 과학 분야에서는 운동 선수들의 경기력 향상과 운동 피로의 신속한 회복을 도모하기 위하여 한약을 복용하고 그 효과와 유의성에 대하여 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 격심한 운동을 수행할 때 나타나는 Glucose 등 에너지원의 고갈, Lactate 등 대사 산물의 축적, 전해질의 불균형 등의 여러 제반 증상이 氣虛로 인하여 나타나는 전신의 증후와 유사하다고 생각하여 補中益氣湯을 투여한 후 인체의 대사 변화를 관찰함으로서 운동수행능력에 미치는 영향과 유의성을 평가하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 장거리 달리기 선수를 대상으로 2주간의 補中益氣湯의 투여가 에너지 대사 및 전해질대사에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위하여 최대심박수의 70% 강도의 운동을 실시한 후 운동전 안정시, 운동 직후, 휴식 후 10분, 휴식 후 30분, 휴식 후 1시간으로 나누어 혈액검사를 하였을 때 나타나는 각종 변인의 반응 양상을 비교 분석하여 유의한 결과를 얻었다. 혈중 에너지 대사에서는 free fatty acid와 Lactate 반응에서 유의성 있는 차이가 나타났고, 전해질대사에서도 Na^(+), Cl-와 K^(+) 반응에서 모누 유의성 있는 차이를 나타냈다. 그러므로 補中益氣湯은 에너지 및 전해질 대사에서 유의성있는 변화를 나타내었으며 운동수행능력의 향상에 유효하였다. Objective This experimental study was designed to investigate effects of Bo-joong-ik-gi-tang administration among long distance runners on changes of the energy and electrolyte metabolism. Materials and Methods All subjects were divided randomly with two groups, Bo-joong-ik-gi-tang Group (N=4) and control group (N=4) and performed to run the 400m track with 70% of HR max about 1 hour. The blood samples were collected from antecubital vein by 5㎖ syringes at before exercise, immediateIy after exercise, recovering- 10 min, recovering-30 min, recovering-1 hour. These sampie were used to analyze for the factors of the changes on metabolic responses. Firest, the primary factors on the changes of the energy metabolism were checked ; Glucose, Free fatty acid, Lactate, LDH. Second, the primary factors on the changes of the electroIyte metabolisrn were checked ; Na^(+), Cl^(-), K^(+). Results 1. The change of the energy metabolism 1) Glucose response was not shown significant difference between two groups. 2) Free fatty acid response in Bo-joong-ik-gi-tang group was significantly increased at recover-10 min. 3) Lactate response in Bo-joong-ik-gi-tang group was significantly decreased at immediately after exercise, recover-10 min, recover-30 min. 4) LDH response was not shown significant difference between two groups. 2. The change of the electrolyte metabolism 1) Na^(+) response in Bo-joong-ik-gi-tang group was shown significant difference between two groups at before exercise. 2) C^(-) response in Bo-joong-ik-gi-tang group was significantly increased at before exercise, immediately after exercise. 3) K^(+) response in Bo-joong-ik-gi-tang group was significantly increased at recover-10 min. Conclusion According to the above results, it was shown that Bo-joong-ik-gi-tang had the positive effects on changes of the energy and electrolyte metabolism for the long distance runners.

The Survey of Dust Levels in Tunnels Located in Busan Metropolitan City

Purpose : Intraoperative suprachoroidal hemorrhage is one of the most serious complications. We report a case of suprachoroidal hemorrhage during phacoemulsification surgery, was managed properly. Methods : Suprachoroidal hemorrhage occurred during phacoemulsificaiton in other hospital. The patient was referred to our department immediately after closing the surgical wound. On initial examination, iris and vitreous were prolapsed through surgical wound. Ciliary body was closely place to anterior chamber, and retina was not visible. Results : Prolapased ocular tissue were reduced by emergency operation. We controlled the patient’s intraocular pressure and inflammation. Ultrasonography was repeatedly performed to check the degree of liquefaction of suprachoroidal hemorrhage. After 9 days of suprachoroidal hemorrhage onset, vitrectomy and drainage through sclera was performed. Postoperative state was stable with successful removal of suprachoroidal hemorrhage. After 2 weeks of secondary operation, retinal detachment has occurred on nasal retinal area, so we performed scleral buckling and endolaser photocoagulation. After 6 months, retina was attached well and intraocular pressure was in normal range. Conclusion : In suprachoroidal hemorrhage, drainage of suprachoroidal hemorrhage after liquefaction of thrombi is effective. After successful drainage, postoperative complications may accompany such as retinal detachment or elevation of intraocular pressure. 목적 : 술중 발생하는 맥락막상 출혈은 매우 심각한 합병증이다. 저자는 수정체 유화술 중에 발생한 맥락막상 출혈을 적절히 대처한 증례를 보고하는 바이다. 대상과 방법 : 수정체 유화술 중 발생한 맥락막상강 출혈환자가 수술창을 봉합 후 즉시 본원으로 전원되었다. 초진시 홍채와 유리체가 수술창을 통해 탈출되어 있었으며, 전방을 통해 모양체가 확인되었으나, 망막은 보이지 않았다. 탈출된 안구내 조직을 응급수술을 통해 복원 후 환자의 안압과 염증을 조절하였다. 초음파를 반복적으로 실시하여 맥락막상 출혈의 액화 정도를 확인하였으며, 출혈 9일 후 유리체 절제술과 공막을 통한 배액술을 시행하였다. 결과 : 맥락막상 출혈이 성공적으로 제거되었으며 술 후 상태는 안정적이었다. 수술 2주 후 비측 망막 박리가 발생하여 공막돌륭술과 안구내 삽관 레이저술을 시행하였다. 6개월 후 망막은 잘 붙어있었으며, 안압은 정상 범위를 유지하였다. 결론 : 맥락막상 출혈의 경우 출혈의 배액 시기를 결정하는 것이 어렵지만, 규칙적인 초음파를 통해 배액술의 시기를 결정할 수 있다. 또한 맥락막상강 출혈의 성공적인 배액 이후에도 망막박리 및 안압상승과 같은 합병증의 동반에 대해 유념해야한다.

Currently in Korea, professional baseball is having a hard time owing to the discrepancy of opinions between the players and the team management. In other words, their interests and thoughts are far from consensus. On the contrary, In Japan and the USA, each team management is indulged in a variety of strategies for constant income while the players' yearly salary keeps rising year after year. Both the income distribution system of the USA and the grant system of Japan can guarantee steady income to each professional team, while clearly differentiating the income sources of the federation and those of each team. That is, the federation's assets and income including nationwide broadcasting fees are equally allotted on the one hand, each team's marketing management efforts make a great difference on the other. Especially in the USA, highly-lucrative teams try to make more profits by selling local airing rights, luxury seating, and special spectator seats, among others. According to Bianco (1997), the New York Yankees and other teams endeavor to scout some elite or popular players from Korea and Japan to create a new customer market. Besides baseball, most of American professional sports make use of the naming right. Namely, the cost for a new stadium can be reaped from the companies that post their names to each stadium, almost as much as a third. In conclusion, each team should adopt more positive, proper and target-oriented marketing management strategies in addition to the strengthened relationships among the fans, regional communities, mass media, and sponsors. In this way thinly, can professional teams improve profitability, secure qualified players, and always get the concern and love from the fans.
Bacillus sp. LJ-25가 생성하는 extracellular chitinase의 정제 및 특성

The extracellular chitinase from Bacillus sp. LJ-25 was pruified Sephadex G-100 gel filtration, DEAE-Cellulose and CM-Spephadex C25 column chromatography. The pruified chitinase showed a single band on disc and SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the molecular weight was estimated to be about 50KDa. The Optimum pH and temperature for the activity of the purified extracellular chitinase were 7.5 and 35℃, respectively. The activity of chitinase was strongly inhibited by metal ions such as Zn²+, Ba²+, Co²+, Mn²+ and Cu²+. The purified chitinase did not hydrolyze N,N??-diacetylchitobiose, N,N, N'-triacetylchitotriose and p-nitrophenol-N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminide, which are known to be the substrates of exo-type chitinase. The products in hydolysis of colloidal chitin with the chitinase were N-acetylglucosamine, N,N'-diacetylchitobiose and N,N,N'-triacetylchitotriose.

Conclusion 1) Makeshift of administration structures erased the boundaries of government control of the Korean athletic association 2) Administration structures are preventing the growth of a lucrative business. 3) KOC's authority and roles should be extended for a lucrative business. 4) KOC needs to be the legal supporting for the leading organization for all amateur sports. 5) KOC and KSC should be independent of the government and fully controlled by the Korean athletic association. When the three above conditions are solved, the direction of athletic business should be as the following. 1) The experts of sports marketing should be secured and new sections established. 2) By dint of requesting advanced and Professional foreign companies which deal with sports marketing, continuous training should be carried out, The marketing of the present athletic committee is virtually only a basic step. 3) Each KNGB(Korea National Government Body) needs steady inquiring attitude from the audience's point of view. The potential possibility of each KNGB is, in fact, so important that it can determine the maintenance or abolition of the athletic committee. However, KNGB has failed many times in mobilizing the audience only in popular events. The reason has been analyzeed that the level of the audience, who has watched world-wide sporting events through the mass media, have increased, but the contents of sports couldn't catch up with it 4) The professional broadcasting sports company should be established, These are the most efficient ways to spread several elements which can make the athletic committee independent financially and to make the highest profits. Looking at the effects of the professional broadcasting sports company if these suggestion are implemented. ① Athletic committee could cope with the pressure from the three Korean broadcasting stations, and raise their payments which was lower than expected. ② Can broadcast the extremely popular events, but also unpopular ones which have action. ③ Can equally cope with exploiting and securing of a sponsor market, ④ Can help people better understood the olympic structure by continuous broadcasting of olympic impressions, which is like the aim of KOC bussinesses. ⑤ Can always promptly transfer the exact information of a sporting event to the people regardless of the assigned broadcasting time. 5) Being on the axis of KOC, an over issue of licensing for each KNGB should be prevented and more qualified licences issued. Like above, the problems of managermant in the past and the propositions for the advancement of the athletic committee, should be reviewed, revised and improved with special care. As a final emphasis(I'd like to take), the successful development will depend on the great effort of all the persons corparties concermed with the athletic committee with a futuristic point of view and without any individual interest.
천궁의 GABAА-Benzodiazepine 수용체 복합체와의 상호작용

요약천궁(Cnidium Officinale)는 미나리과 다년생초본식물로서 대뇌 억제 및 진정 작용이 있다는 여러 문헌 등을 참고하여 볼 때 천궁은 항불안작용을 나타낼 가능성이 시사되었다. 이에 본 연구는 천궁을 사용하여 실험 동물에서 천궁의 항불안 작용을 검색하고 그 작용기전의 일부를 밝히고자 천궁을 극성 및 비극성 용매로 추출하여 분획을 만들고 이들 분획의 GABA-benzodiazepine 수용체 복합체 결합반응에 미치는 영향을 관찰하고자 하였다. 실험 결과 천궁 표준추출물 경구투여는 생쥐의 elevated plus maze 검사에서 그 효과는 diazepam 1 mg/kg 투여 후 실시한 elevated plus maze 검사 결과보다 낮았으나, 개방통로에로의 진입회수 및 개방통로에서의 체류시간을 증가시킴으로써 불안해소작용을 나타내었다. 또 천궁의 표준추출물은 benzodiazepine 수용체 길항제인 [3H]Ro15-1788 결합을 억제함으로써 수용체 활성물질의 존재 가능성이 관찰되었다. 이러한 행동검사상의 불안해소작용 및 benzodiazepine 수용체 활성도를 나타내는 구성성분을 추적하고자 천궁의 표준추출물의 분획화를 실시하였는데, 이를 통하여 얻은 각 분획들을 사용하여 수용체 활성도를 검색한 결과, 모든 분획에서 활성도를 나타내었으나 그 중 chloroform분획의 활성도가 crude한 추출물인 methanol 추출물이나 다른분획에 비하여 가장 높은 활성도를 나타냄을 관찰하였다.천궁의 chloroform분획은 [3H]flunitrazepam의 흰쥐대뇌피질조직에 있는 benzodiazepine 수용체에 대한 결합반응을 억제시켰으며, 이러한 억제도는 GABA 및 chloride 존재에 의해 더욱 항진되는 positive GABA shift 현상이 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, 천궁의 chloroform분획내에는 benzodiazepine 수용체에 대해 효현제 활성을 지니는 물질이 있음을 추측할 수 있으며, 이는 천궁의 항불안작용의 중요한 한 기전으로 생각된다. C. Officinale is a medicinal plant which has been known to have anxiolytic and sedative activity. A survey of the relevant literature has indicated that the putative anxiolytic activity of C. Officinale has not been scientifically investigated. Therefore, the present study was designed to assess anxiolytic property and interaction with benzodiazepine receptor of C. Officinale. The putative anxiolytic activity of methanol extract of C. Officinale was performed in mice using an elevated plus maze paradigm. Chronic oral administration of C. Officinale showed anxiolytic action in mice. The interaction of C. Officinale with benzodiazepine receptor was investigated using rat cortices. Methanol extract of C. Officinale inhibited the binding of [3H] Ro 15-1788, a selective benzodiazepine receptor antagonist to benzodiazepine receptor of rat cortices. Chlorform fraction of methanol extract showed higher binding activity to benzodiazepine receptor than crude extract by methanol. GABA significantly enhanced the potency of C. Officinale in inhibiting [3H] flunitrazepam, a selective benzodiazepine receptor agonist, binding to benzodiazepine receptor. From these findings, it can be concluded that substance or substances with neurochemical properties characteristic of a benzodiazepine receptor agonist may contribute to the anxiolytic property of C. Officinale.

The interaction of dye-surfactants and dye-surfactant mixtures have been examined by the absorption spectroscopy. The interaction of surfactant mixtures and the CMC exchange of surfactant mixtures were examined. In dye(Thionin)-anionic surfactant(SDS)system and the absorption band of dimer increased at S/D≤100. In dye-nonionic surfactant(AE)system and the absorption spectra of dimer band was not appeared. In Thionin-SDS-AE system, the change of dimer, monomer and oligomer band was influenced by the CMC of AE. As the concentration of AE increased, the dimer and oligomer of thionin-SDS system was deaggreated. In various temperature, the interaction between Dye and Surfactant mixtures are examine.

The experimental binodal curves and tie-lines were determined for solvent-KF salt solution-2-propanol system at 25℃, and those tie-line were used to test thermodynamic consistency. The KF salt solutions were prepared with 5% aqueous solution. The experimental tie-line data were correlated with NRTL and UNIQUAC model, and the parameters and the calculated values of tie-line were predicted. The effect of salt addition on liquid-liquid equilibria was also studied along with increment of salt solution.
