      • 쐐기형 레일클램프의 초기압착력 발휘를 위한 중추무게에 관한 연구

        The wedge type rail clamp has the operating mechanism: First, the jaw pad clamps a rail with small clamping force. Next as the wind speed increases, the clamping force of the jaw pad is increased by the wedge. In order to design the wedge type rail clamp, we need to determine the proper wedge angle to minimize the sliding distance of a roller and the proper clamping angle of a locker to generate the initial clamping force of a jaw pad. The researches for the proper wedge angle have conducted, and in this study we conducted the investigation to determine the proper clamping angle of a locker in the rail clamp with wedge angle of 10˚. Because the initial clamping force of the jaw pad was determined by the clamping angle of the locker, in order to carry out the clamping force of a jaw pad, we measured the locking force applied to a locker with respect to the clamping angle of a locker, such as 3°, 4°, 5°, 6° using a pressure gauge, and compared the results with the FEA results.

        The various existing situations like overpopulation, urbanization, industrialization, and heavy traffic volume in the Seoul metropolitan area have led to the air pollution problem, traffic problem, and increase in opportunities of residing underground place. So, recently in Korea, the residents using underground working place have been of great concerns on indoor air pollutants such as HCHO, radon, particulate matter, carbon monoxide. However, the studies on indoor air pollution have been not extensively conducted in Korea. Indoor radon is an odorless, colorless, tasteless, invisible, inert, and naturally occurring radioactive gas. And it has been known as one of the notorious carcinogens. The purpose of this study was to survey the concentration variations of radon in the subway stations located Seoul metropolitan area. Total of 216 subway stations were surveyed by the continuous radon monitors from Mar. 2001 to Jun. 2001. The study showed that average radon levels of concourses in each line were 1.51, 1.45, 1.51, 1.23, 1.28, 1.37, 1.12, 1.28 pCi/L and those of platforms in each line were 2.09, 1.43, 1.37, 1.67, 1.44, 1.54, 1.40, 1.22 pCi/L, respectively. The study results showed that the average radon concentrations were 1.19 pCi/L in outdoor, 1.34 pCi/L in concourse, and 1.52 pCi/L in platform, respectively.

        Two difficulties in modern poetry due to the feature of a special age and the method of expression by specific poet. I would like to stress the application of the original power of actual experience intuitive recognation than theory and searching of Korean emotion for the method of conquest in the difficulty of modern poetry. The first factor of the difficulty in modern poetry is that poet downfall to servant of consciousness after industrial society development; The second factor is due to mobilizing of potential power of language by all intellectual means because limitation of expression. At last, solutions of the difficulties in modern poetry are following. First, the poetry must be written by sincerity of poetry of poetry. Second, Korean Emotion must be searched by poet in believing the possibility of Korean language, oriental must be used through intuitive action of understanding.

        This study was carried out to analyze the effect of machinery house loaction on the stability of high efficiency gantry crane which can improve the productivity of the container transportation work by reducing cycle time. The wind load was evaluated according to 'Load Criteria of Building Structures' enacted by the ministry of construction & transportation. The uplift forces of high efficiency gantry crane under this wind load were calculated by analyzing reaction forces at each supporting point. And variation of reaction forces at each supporting point was analyzed according to machinery house location.

      • A Study on the Comparison of wind pressure on the member of Container Crane using Wind tunnel test and CFD

        Because strong wind is one of the few forces that, although considered in container crane design, still cause significant damage, a container crane was tested to investigate wind load characteristic in uniform flows. So, this study measured an external point pressure at the each members of a container crane according to a wind direction and a shape of members in a wind-tunnel test. The result of this test was compared to those of computation fluid dynamics using a CFX 10. The scale of a container crane model for wind tunnel test applied similarity scales to consider the size of the wind tunnel test section and the boundary condition for CFD is like wind tunnel test.

      • Nondestructive Characterization of Metal Matrix Composite by Means of Ultrasonics

        초음파를 이용하여 비파괴적으로 단섬유 강화 알루미늄복합재료의 탄성계수의 측정기법에 대하여 연구하였다. 이를 위해 강화섬유 함유량을 0%에서 30%까지 5단계로 변화시킨 시험편을 제조하여 강화재 체적율의 변화에 따른 탄성계수의 변화를 정량적으로 측정하여 종래의 파괴적인 방법으로 구한 결과와 비교 검토 하였다. 그 결과 초음파의 종파, 횡파속도로 부터 비파괴적으로 평가된 탄성계수의 값은 4점굽힘시험에 의해 파괴적으로 측정된 값에 비교해 약간 낮은 값을 보이고 있으며, 등가응력조건(equal stress condition) 식에서 구한 이론적인 결과와 잘 일치하고 있음을 보여주고 있다.

      • 정신분열병의 유병기간과 인지적 결함간의 관계

        정신분열병에 대한 현행의 개념이 손상된 인지기능이 이 질환의 정신병리중의 하나라고 받아들여지고 있다. 그러나 정신분열병의 경과가 점진적이고 지속적인 손상을 유발하는 진행적인 치매적 장애인지 급성 또는 아급성과정에서 인지기능의 감소가 오고 결국은 비교적 안정된 결함 상태가 되는 정적뇌병증인지에 대한 논란은 아직도 계속되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 58명의 정신분열병환자들을 유병기간에 따라 5년이하(Group 1), 5년초과에서 10년이하(Group 2), 10년초과에서 15년이하(Group 3), 15년초과에서 20년이하(Group 41)의 4군으로 분류하여 정신분열병환자들에서 유병기간이 증가함에 따른 인지기능의 차이가 나타나는 지에 대해서 WCST, VCPT, 재인기억검사, 공간기억검사, 수지럭검사, KWIS 어휘문제 및 BPRS를 시행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 각 군간에서의 간이정신평가척도(F=0.22, d.f.=3,54, P=0.88)는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 2) Wisconsin카드분류검사(F=0.23, d.f.=3,54, p=0.87), 시각지속수행검사(F=0.27, d.f.=3,54, P=0.84), 공간기억검사(F=0.10, d.f.=3,54, P=0.96), 재인기억검사(F=0.15, d.f.=3,54, p=0.93) 수지력검사(F=1.20, d.f.=3,54, p=0.32), 어휘문제(F=0.67. d.f.=3,54, P=0.98) 등 실시한 모든 신경심리검사에서 4군간에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 이러한 결과로 볼 때 정신분열병은 유병기간과는 무관한 정적뇌병증일 것이라는 것을 시사한다. Most current thinking about schizophrenia acknowledges that impaired cognitive performance is one of the manifestations of the neuropathology of the illness. But, controversy surrounds the issue of whether a dementing disorder which produces a gradual and progressive loss of cognitive function or a static encephalopathy which is a relatively stable deficit state followed after cognitive function diminishing during an acute or subacute process. In this study, 58 schizophrenic patients were assigned to four duration of illness-derived groups: duration of illness≤5years(group 1), 5<duration of illness≤10years(group 2), 10<duration of illness≤15years(group 3), 15<duration of illness≤20years(group 4). To ascertain the significant differences of the cognitive function between 4 duration of illness-derived groups, WCST, VCPT, recognition test, spatial memory, finger tapping test, KWIS-vocabulary test, and BPRS were performed. The results are as follows ; 1) There was no significant differences between 4 groups on BPRS(F=0.22, d.f.=3,54, P=0.88). 2) There were no significant differences between 4 groups on WCST(F=0.23, d.f.=3,54, P=0.87), VCPT(F=0.27, d.f.=3,54, P=0.84), spatial memory(F=0.10, d.f.=3,54, P=0.96), recognition test(F=0.15, d.f.=3,54, P=0.93), finger tapping test(F=1.20, d.f.=3,54, P=0.32), KWIS-vocabulary test(F=0.67, d.f.=3,54, P=0.98). These results suggest that the course of schizophrenia is more consistent with a static encephalopathy than a dementing disorder, irrespective of duration of illness.

      • Energy Method와 幾何學的 方法에 의한 圓環의 垂直, 水平 變位比較

        To study the elastic behavior of thick ring under the concentrated compression load, the geometric method by the circumferential deformation and the angular displacement and energy method-Castigliano's theorem-were adopted. The influence of diameter, thickness and ratio t/D was researched and the comparison of the two theories were followed up by the experimental results. The results obtained are as follows. 1. P/Δ by either geometric method or energy method are exclusively determined by the ratio t/D, nether t nor D 2. In the vertical deformation P/Δ₃is smaller than P/Δ₁ and the experimental results P/Δ_(e) have almost linear trends and approach to P/Δ₃ more closely, and in the horizontal deformation, P/Δ'_(e) approaches to P/Δ'₂ 3. In the vertical deformation, the absolute value P/Δ₁ and the approximate value P/Δ₂ don't show great difference, but in the horizontal deformation, they do. At most, P/Δ' is larger than P/Δ.

      • 농촌지역 주민의 근골격계의 통증에 대한 조사

        Musculoskeletal disorders are a major cause of occupational disabilities. Approximately thirty percent state that the major reason for an inability to work is a musculoskeletal problem. A farm work is associated with increased stress and trauma to joints. Chronic overuse injuries are a result of stresses that exceed the body's adaptive or healing capabilities. They can occur in bone, tendons and muscle-tendon-bone junctions. The aim of the investigation was to the study the frequency of pain, ache, and discomfort in the musculoskeletal system among farmers, to find possible correlations between these symptomes and various working positions and different working actions. A questionnaire was answered by 138 farmers. Of those who answered the questionnaire 82% had pain and discomfort from back, shoulders, arms in orders. The result showed the musculoskeletal pain predominate in the farming seasons, and of those who had pain and discomfort 89% thought that farm works had a correlation with the pain and discomfort of musculoskeletal system. But only 17% of questionnaire were put to periodic medical examinations, and 50% of those who had pain and discomfort consulted a doctor. Education in effective pain treatment should therefore be intensified to ascertain that farmers in rural areas have satisfactory knowledge of the musculoskeletal pain as a chronic overuse syndrome.
