        Probing the impact of quercetin-7-O-glucoside on influenza virus replication influence

        <P>Background: Influenza virus is still at large and seriously affects social welfare and health. Dianthus superbus is a well-known medicinal plant widely used in Mongolian and Chinese traditional medicine for anti-inflammatory purposes. Purpose: To investigate the influence of this novel herbal medicinal product over virus infection and virus-induced symptoms Method: Quercetin-7-O-glucoside was isolated by bioassay (anti-influenza)-guided fractionation. The structural elucidation was made with 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. Influenza A/Vic/3/75 (H3N2), A/PR/8/34 (H1N1), B/Maryland/1/59 and B/Lee/40 viruses were used for the evaluation of the antiviral activity. Virus-induced reactive oxygen species and autophagy formation levels were studied. The antiviral mechanism was elucidated via time-dependent, pre-, post-incubation assay methods. The viral RNA replication inhibition of Q7G was analyzed using quantitative RT-PCR method. The blocking of polymerase basic protein subunits of influenza viral RNA polymerase by Q7G was detected by in silico molecular docking assays using AutoDock Vina program with m(7)GTP. Additionally, Q7G was tested against M-MuLV RNA polymerase. Results: Q7G was not cytotoxic (CC50 > 100 mu g/ml) in MDCK cells and it showed 3.1 mu g/ml, 6.61 mu g/ml, 8.19 mu g/ml and 5.17 mu g/ml IC50 values against influenza A/PR/8/34, A/Vic/3/75, B/Lee/40 and B/Maryland/1/59 virus strains, respectively. Treatment of Q7G highly reduced ROS and autophagy formation induced by influenza virus infection. Q7G did not reduce NA activity and did not directly interact with the virus particles. Since viral RNA synthesis was blocked by treatment of Q7G. We targeted viral RNA polymerase for further probing. Interestingly, the binding energy of Q7G on viral PB2 protein was -9.1 kcal/mol and was higher than m(7)GTP recorded as -7.5 kcal/mol. It also was observe to block M-MuLV RNA polymerase. Conclusion: Isolated compound Q7G showed strong inhibition activity against influenza A and B viruses. It also reduced virus-induced ROS and autophagy formation. Q7G does not directly bind to the virus particles and did not affect NA activity. These results indicated that Q7G inhibits viral RNA polymerase, and that it occupies the binding site of m(7)GTP on viral PB2 protein. (C) 2016 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved.</P>

        Effect of rotation bump on removal torque of orthodontic mini-implants

        Objectives: This study is designed to evaluate the mechanical stability of orthodontic mini-implants with vertical grooves in rabbits. Materials and Methods: This study was done from March 2011 to February 2012 in Dental Research Institute of Seoul National University. Thirtytwo mini-implants in the control group and 32 in the rotation bump (RB) group were inserted in the tibias of 16 rabbits and were removed after two weeks and four weeks, respectively. The maximum insertion torque (MIT), maximum removal torque (MRT), torque ratio (TR) of MRT to MIT and removal angular momentum (RAM) were all measured at the time of removal. Results: There were no significant differences between the two groups in MIT and MRT at two weeks or four weeks. However, TR and RAM at four weeks in the RB group were significantly higher than in the control group ( P <0.05). TR of the RB group was significantly increased at four weeks ( P <0.05). In both groups, RAM at four weeks was significantly higher than at two weeks ( P <0.05). Conclusion: These results suggest that RB of the mini-implant could provide resistance to the removal rotation, although it did not increase the MRT.

      • 자동차 Hub Assembly 부품의 가공공정 개선

        본 논문에서 대상이 되는 가공공정의 제품은 자동차 Axle에 장착되는 Hub Assembly의 부품인 Non Driven이며, 생산성 향상 및 품질문제 해결을 목표로 Gantry Robot, Conveyor, Gripper Hand 등을 개선을 위한 변수로 설정하여 공정분석 및 개선을 수행하였다. 실행방안으로서 가공설비에 소재를 투입 및 배출하는 이송작업을 직선이송으로 동일화 하고, 소재의 투입과 배출을 동시에 수행함으로서 가공설비의 비가동 시간을 최소화 하여 공정시간을 기존 대비 12.5% 단축하였으며, 가공소재의 이송 과정에서 회전동작을 배제하여 중력낙하에 의한 제품의 손상을 원천적으로 제거하였다.

      • 직무스트레스 요인이 개인의 직무성과에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 몽골 기업 조직구성원들이 어느 정도 수준의 직무스트레스를 지각하고 있으며, 이들의 직무스트레스를 유발하는 요인은 무엇이며, 직무스트레스가 개인의 성과 가운데 하나인 직무만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지를 실증적으로 살펴보았다. 자료의 수집은 몽골 기업에서 근무하고 있는 520명의 조직구성원을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 이루어졌다. 본 연구의 실증자료 분석 결과, 몽골 기업 조직구성원이 지각하는 심리적 스트레스에는 역할갈등, 역할모호성, 대인관계가 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 신체적 스트레스에는 역할갈등, 역할과다, 대인관계가 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 몽골 기업 조직구성원은 대인관계와 역할갈등을 높게 지각할수록 직무스트레스도 높게 지각한다고 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 직무스트레스가 직무만족에 미치는 영향과 관련하여 심리적 스트레스와 신체적 스트레스가 직무만족에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 몽골 기업 조직구성원은 직무스트레스를 높게 지각할수록 직무만족은 낮아진다는 결과가 확인되었다. 셋째, 직무스트레스의 매개효과와 관련하여 심리적 스트레스의 경우 대인관계와 직무만족간의 관계에서 매개효과를 보였고, 신체적 스트레스의 경우는 역할모호성 및 대인관계와 직무만족간의 관계에서 매개효과를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 시사점이 제시될 수 있다. 첫째, 직무스트레스 요인에 대한 개인의 지각은 상이하게 나타날 수 있다. 따라서 기업구성원의 욕구와 가치관을 고려하여 직무에 배치하고, 직무로부터 발생할 수 있는 과다한 업무, 모호성 등을 가능한 낮추는 노력이 요구된다. 둘째, 직무스트레스는 조직구성원의 주관적 성향이 강하기 때문에 관리자가 구성원의 개인적 특성을 잘 파악하여 이를 긍정적인 방향으로 관리하여야 한다. 셋째, 기업은 구성원의 직무스트레스를 효과적으로 대처할 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램을 개발하여 장기적으로 운영될 수 있도록 다각적인 지원책을 제시하여야 할 것이다. The Mongolian firms are attempting to expand their own management system to be more competitive through being fortified innovation and efficiency. In the dynamic management environment, employees are naturally under stress due to their working load, role conflict, role ambiguity, and relationship with co-workers. The primary goal of this research is to investigate the causes of employees’ job stress and its outcome in Mongolian firms. The proposed independent variables are job stressors which are role overload, role ambiguity, role conflict, and interpersonal relationship. Job stress(psychological stress, physical stress) is the mediating variable. Job satisfaction is included in the research model as a dependent variable. To verify the proposed hypotheses, a survey questionnaire is applied as the primary data collection method. The survey questionnaire is distributed to 578 employees in several Mongolian firms, however, 520 cases are used for the data analysis. The multiple regression analysis is carried out in hypotheses testing. The result of the analysis showed that role conflict, role ambiguity, and interpersonal relationship affect significantly of psychological stress, whereas role conflict and personal relationship have a meaningful impact on physical stress. Moreover, the physical and psychological stresses have the significant impact on job satisfaction respectively. It is also found that job stress mediates between job stressors and job satisfaction. The results imply that firms and managers should make a substantial effort to reduce employee’s job stress in order to motivate people in firms and to enhance employee job satisfaction level.

        A NOTE ON WEAK EXPANSIVE HOMEOMORPHISMS ON A COMPACT METRIC SPACE

        In this paper we introduce the notion of the expansivity for homeomorphisms on a compact metric space and study some properties concerning weak expansive homeomorphisms. Also, we give some examples to illustrate our results.

        Observational Constraints on Inflation with the Nonlinear Sigma-Fields in Light of Planck 2015

        We study an inflation model with a nonlinear sigma field which has SO(3) symmetry. The background solution of the nonlinear sigma field is linearly proportional to the space coordinates while keeping the homogeneous and isotropic background spacetime. We calculate the observable quantities, including the power spectra of the scalar and tensor modes, the spectral indices, the tensor-to-scalar ratio, and the running of the spectral indices, and then constrain our model with the Planck 2015 observational data.

        A NOTE ON WEAK EXPANSIVE HOMEOMORPHISMS ON A COMPACT METRIC SPACE

        In this paper we introduce the notion of the expansivity for homeomorphisms on a compact metric space and study some properties concerning weak expansive homeomorphisms. Also, we give some examples to illustrate our results.
