This paper presents new SRM drive method by using the current source inverter. A problem that huge induced voltage is generated by using the current source inverter is solved by the proposed inverter circuit which has a voltage clamp circuit. The simulation results and the experimental results show that the induced switch voltage is reduced in the clamped circuit.

In this study, we investigate the discontinuous-derivative treatment at the gas-liquid interface in underwater explosion (UNDEX) problems by using the Moving Least Squares-Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (MLS-SPH) method, which is known as one of the particle methods suitable for problems where large deformation and inhomogeneity occur in the whole domain. Because the numerical oscillation of pressure arises from derivative discontinuity in the UNDEX analysis using the standard SPH method, the MLS shape function with Discontinuous-derivative Basis Function (DBF) that is able to represent the derivative discontinuity of field function is utilized in the MLS-SPH formulation in order to suppress the nonphysical pressure oscillation. The effectiveness of the MLS-SPH with DBF is demonstrated in comparison with the standard SPH and conventional MLS-SPH though a shock tube problem and benchmark standard problems of UNDEX of a trinitrotoluene (TNT) charge.

We apply a partitioned-solution (iterative-staggered) coupling method based on a fixed Eulerian mesh with the level set function to a large-deformation fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problem where a large-deformable thin structure moves in a high-speed flow field, as an airbag does during deployment. This method combines advanced fluid and structure solvers-specifically, the constrained interpolation profile finite element method (CIP-FEM) for fluid Eulerian mesh and large-deformable structural elements for Lagrangian structural mesh. We express the large-deformable interface as a zero isosurface by the level set function, and introduce virtual nodes with level sets and structural normal velocities to generate the level set function according to the large-deformable interfacial geometry and enforce the kinematic condition at the interface. The virtual nodes are located in the direction normal to the structural mesh. It is confirmed that application of the method to unfolded airbag deployment simulation shows the adequacy of the method.
커먼즈의 지속가능성을 위한 지역공동체와 자치규약의 역할 - 일본 오하라 지역 공유림을 사례로 -

이 글은 ‘커먼즈는 어떻게 보존될 수 있는가’라는 물음에 입각해 일본의 삼림 보존 사례를 주목하고자 한다. 시가현(滋賀県) 고가군(甲賀郡) 오하라(大原) 지역의 공유림은 메이지 초기에 황폐해졌으나 지역공동체가 자치적으로 식수하고 보육해 이제 아름다운 숲이 되었다. 그런데 여기서 강조할 대목은 오하라촌의 지역공동체가 오하라공유산 맹약 규약을 제정하고 개정해나간 노력이 삼림 보전에 주효했다는 사실이다. 1887년 처음으로 체결된 공유산맹약은 5개조에 불과했으나 시행착오를 거치며 다섯 차례에 걸쳐 개정되며 내용이 충실해졌고, 그로써 공유림의 지속적인 보전과 이용을 가능케 하는 토대가 되었다. 이 글은 엘리너 오스트롬(Elinor Ostrom)이 가다듬은 ‘커먼즈 장기 존립 조건’에 관한 시각을 견지하여 오하라촌민이 구축하고 발전시킨 오하라공유산 맹약 규약의 역사적 전개 과정을 시계열적으로 분석할 것이다. 이로써 커먼즈에 관한 문제의식이 확산되고 있지만 자연자원보전을 위한 자치규약에 대한 실증 연구가 아직은 많이 축적되지 않은 한국학계의 커먼즈 연구에 이바지하고자 한다. This study aims to pay attention to the case of Japan"s forest preservation based on the question ‘How can commons be preserved?’. Common forest in the Ohara region, Koka county, Shiga prefecture became devastated at the beginning of the Meiji era, and has become a rich Hinoki forest since village community autonomously preserve the forest. The study focuses on the Meiji (1868~1911) and Taisho (1912~1925) eras. Conservation of the common forest by the inhabitants of Ohara village is discussed from the viewpoint of a commons study. One thing to note here is that the forest was revived since the local community of Ohara Village established customary law regarding the common forest and revised them to preserve the common forest. The common mountain regulation, which was first signed in 1887 and merely had five terms, came to have devoted contents after undergoing five revisions and became the basis of enabling continuous preservation and use of common forest. This study will analyze the historical development processes of the Ohara common mountain regulations.
