This research explore the complementarity effect of export-market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on export performance of SMEs from a CEE developing economy. We found that the likelihood of this effect on export profitability is higher in dynamic export market environments if high level of resources are committed to export operations.

Purpose: Management of superficial vein thrombosis (SVT) in patients with varicose veins (VV) is not currently standardized. We performed a survey aimed to demonstrate patterns in the management of SVT in the Republic of Moldova. Materials and Methods: This was a descriptive study whereby members of the National Surgical Society were asked to complete an online questionnaire. In the questionnaire, multiple-choice questions were supplemented with four clinical vignettes of real patients with SVT. Results: The questionnaire was completed by 102 participants (31.1% response rate). In the treatment of SVT, duplex ultrasound was routinely used by 74.5% of respondents, and anticoagulants were used by 70.5%. The full therapeutic dose of anticoagulants was recommended by 63.3% of surgeons, intermediate dose by 21.1%, and prophylactic dose by 15.6%. Only 50% of respondents were prescribed anticoagulants for 1 month or more. In case of surgical intervention for SVT, crossectomy and stripping were performed by 84.0% of surgeons, while isolated crossectomy by 10.7%. In all clinical vignettes, the majority of respondents opted for urgent surgical treatment. The rate of proponents of surgery varied from 43% in cases of isolated thrombosis of tributaries, and up to 72.5% in cases of thrombosis up to the sapheno-femoral junction. Conclusion: Management of patients with SVT and VV in the Republic of Moldova is far from standardized. Prescribed doses of anticoagulants, as well as the duration of anticoagulation are highly variable and often contradict the recommendations of current guidelines. Urgent crossectomy and stripping dominate the pattern of current therapeutic approaches.
Solving a combinatorial problem with networkflows
Florin Manea,C\u alina Ploscaru 한국전산응용수학회 2005 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.17 No.1-2
In this paper we present an algorithm based on network flow techniques which provides a solution for a combinatorial problem. Then, in order to provide all the solutions of this problem, we make use of an algorithm that given the bipartite graph G = (V1 [ V2,E,w) outputs the enumeration of all bipartite matchings of given cardinality v and cost c.
Prediction of engineering demand parameters for RC wall structures
Florin Pavel,Andrei Pricopie 국제구조공학회 2015 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.54 No.4
This study evaluates prediction models for three EDPs (engineering demand parameters) using data from three symmetrical structures with RC walls designed according to the currently enforced Romanian seismic design code P100-1/2013. The three analyzed EDPs are: the maximum interstorey drift, the maximum top displacement and the maximum shear force at the base of the RC walls. The strong ground motions used in this study consist of three pairs of recordings from the Vrancea intermediate-depth earthquakes of 1977, 1986 and 1990, as well as two other pairs of recordings from significant earthquakes in Turkey and Greece (Erzincan and Aigion). The five pairs of recordings are rotated in a clockwise direction and the values of the EDPs are recorded. Finally, the relation between various IMs (intensity measures) of the strong ground motion records and the EDPs is studied and two prediction models for EDPs are also evaluated using the analysis of residuals.
Advanced Tools for Modeling, Design and Optimization of Wind Turbine Systems
Florin Iov,Anca Daniela Hansen,Clemens Jauch,Poul Sørensen,Frede Blaabjerg 전력전자학회 2005 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.5 No.2
As wind turbine technology and control has advanced over the last decade, this has led to a high penetration of wind turbines into the power system. Whether it be for a large wind turbine or an offshore wind farm with hundreds of MW power capacity, the electrical system has become more and more important in controlling the interaction between the mechanical system of the wind turbine and the main power system. The presence of power electronics in wind turbines improves their controllability with respect not only to its mechanical loads but also to its power quality [1]. This paper presents an overview of a developed simulation platform for the modeling, design and optimization of wind turbines. The ability to simulate the dynamic behavior of wind turbines and the wind turbine grid interaction using four simulation tools (Matlab, Saber, DIgSILENT and HAWC) is investigated, improved and extended.

DIGITAL MARKETING CAPABILITY AND FIRM PERFORMANCE: A DYNAMIC CAPABILITIES PERSPECTIVE
Florin Foltean 글로벌지식마케팅경영학회 2018 Global Marketing Conference Vol.2018 No.07
This research paper examines the role of adaptive capability and absorptive capability in the development of digital marketing capability that, in turn, influences the firm performance. The results reveal that both adaptive and absorptive capabilities have a positive influence on digital marketing capability that positively contributes to customer relationship, new product and financial performance of the firm. The adoption of new digital technologies such as smart products, the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and machine learning will change markets, competitive landscapes, business models and consumer behaviors, new thinking about marketing capabilities becoming critical to succeed in today complex environment (Day, 2011; Kannan & Li, 2017). To remain competitive and survive, organizations have to develop new marketing capabilities to harness the potential of these technologies in supporting marketing functions and processes (Trainor, Rapp, Beitelspacher & Schillewaert, 2011). Despite the rapid diffusion of digital technologies in business practice, only few previous researches was focused on theoretical and empirical aspects of marketing capabilities needed in digital-empowered environment. To fill this knowledge gap, we develop the digital marketing capability construct, and explore its antecedents and consequences on performance.
FREE PRODUCTS OF OPERATOR SYSTEMS
Pop, Florin Korean Mathematical Society 2022 대한수학회보 Vol.59 No.3
In this paper we introduce the notion of universal free product for operator systems and operator spaces, and prove extension results for the operator system lifting property (OSLP) and operator system local lifting property (OSLLP) to the universal free product.
