Re-conceptualization of Business Model for Marketing Nowadays: Theory and Implications

FIRMAN, Ahmad,PUTRA, Aditya Halim Perdana Kusuma,MUSTAPA, Zainuddin,ILYAS, Gunawan Bata,KARIM, Kasnaeny Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.7

This study aims to develop the concept of innovation models with the marketing channel construct approach, marketing innovation, product segmentation, and customer insight; as well as improvements to the theory of resource-based combined with the method of service-dominant logic. This study approach is based on quantitative descriptive conducted with three stages of testing scenarios. The first test is the mapping of the innovation model construct through testing the validity and reliability with the moderation of customer orientation variables. The second scenario examines the relationship of influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable of 29 hypothetical analysis equation modeling. The unit of analysis was conducted on 497 SMEs involved in the food and beverage sectors, with the criteria being SMEs must have a rating of 4-5 points on the Go-Food applications software. The results shown that: 1) the construct used to develop an innovative model both directly and via moderation is positive and significant; 2) Through a complicated relationship that involves all components of the variable, it outlines a positive and significant effect except for the path of analysis (μ5). The theoretical and managerial implications state that the service-dominant logic approach and resource-based view theory have extreme reliability and interrelations.

Relationship of TQM on Managerial Perfomance: Evidence From Property Sector in Indonesia

        Ahmad FIRMAN,Zainuddin MUSTAPA,Gunawan Bata ILYAS,Aditya Halim Perdana Kusuma Putra 한국유통과학회 2020 유통과학연구 Vol.18 No.1

Purpose: This study seeks to bridge between the research by Lawrence (1999) and Retegan (1992), where the focus of TQM on his studies rests on customer satisfaction. Whereas in this study trying to recompile TQM by involving the variables Innovation and competitive advantage to stimulate managerial performance improvement where performance measurements include various measurements such as financial performance, marketing performance, and production performance in the property industry. Research design, data, and methodology: Total sample are 105 respondents coming from middle to top level of management in the property sector in Indonesia. To empirically prove the results of this study using multiply regression analysis as a test tool for analysis. Results and Findings: The results of this study confirm that TQM has a positive effect on market competition, innovation, and company performance indirectly. However, it does not have a significant impact if it is directly related to TQM on company performance. In this case, TQM for property companies in Indonesia would not have been possible without the role of innovation and market competition. So that the managerial implications of this study also confirm that TQM is essential and feels obligatory to be implemented optimally.

Inhibition of indoxyl sulfate-induced intrarenal renin-angiotensin system activation: targeting the aryl hydrocarbon receptor

Muhammad Firman Akbar 대한임상약리학회 2017 Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Vol.25 No.3

Indoxyl sulfate, a protein-bound uremic toxin, leads to CKD (chronic kidney disease) progressionand its complications through the activation of AhR (aryl hydrocarbon receptor) and RAS (reninangiotensinsystem). Inhibition of these pathways may slow the development of CKD and CKDassociatedcomplications.

      • Serial pendulum DVA design using Genetic Algorithm (GA) by considering the pendulum nonlinearity

        Lovely Son,Firman Erizal,Mulyadi Bur,Agus Sutanto 국제구조공학회 2024 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.89 No.6

A serial pendulum dynamic vibration absorber (DVA) was designed to suppress the vibration of two degrees of freedom (Two-DOF) structure model. The optimal DVA parameters are selected using a genetic algorithm (GA) by minimizing the fitness function formulated from the system’s frequency response function (FRF). Two fitness function criteria, using one and two target frequency ranges, were utilized to calculate the optimal DVA parameters. The optimized serial pendulum DVA parameters were used to reduce structural vibration under free and forced excitation conditions. The simulation study found that the serial pendulum DVA can effectively reduce the vibration response for a small excitation amplitude. However, the DVA performance decreases for a large excitation amplitude due to the nonlinearity of pendulum motion, and the percentage of vibration response attenuation is smaller than that obtained using a small excitation amplitude.

Synthesis and Characterization of Fe-Co/mesoHZSM-5 : Effect of Desilication Agent and Iron-cobalt Composition

        Jimmy,Achmad Roesyadi,Suprapto,Firman Kurniawansyah 한국화학공학회 2020 Korean Chemical Engineering Research(HWAHAK KONGHA Vol.58 No.1

Synthesis of Fe-Co/meso-HZSM5 catalyst, intended to be applied in Fischer-Tropsch (FT) reaction was investigated. The study emphasized the effect of desilication agents, NaOH and KOH, on the catalyst materials properties. Impregnation composition of active metal (Fe and Co) was also examined. HZSM-5, converted from ammonium ZSM-5 through calcination, was treated with NaOH and KOH for desilication, followed by impregnation with 10% metal loading. Fe composition in the initial mixture was varied at 10-50% from total composition. After impregnation, reduction was applied by flowing hydrogen gas at 400 oC for 10 hours. The use of KOH solution induced greater mesoporous volumes; however, it had a detrimental effect on zeolite crystal structure. NaOH solutions, on the other hand, increased mesopore area as high as 100%, indicated from surface area increase from 266.28 m2/g of HZSM-5, to 526.03 m2/g of NaOHdesilicated HZSM-5. In addition, the application of NaOH solution increased pore volume from 0.14 cc/g to 0.486 cc/g. Further, more Fe-Co alloys and less oxide of iron (Fe2O3) as well cobalt (Co3O4) had been commonly observed in the produced catalysts. The largest Fe-Co alloys could be found in 50Fe-50Co/HZSM-5.

Spatial ability and anatomy learning performance among dental students

        Sarilita Erli,Lita Yurika Ambar,Firman Dani Rizali,Wilkinson Tracey,Susilawati Sri,Saptarini Risti,Aripin Dudi,Sjamsudin Endang 한국의학교육학회 2022 Korean journal of medical education Vol.34 No.4

Purpose: Spatial perception is an essential skill for professional dentists. The objective of this study was to observe the spatial ability, as well as anatomy module grades, of dental students at a dental education center in Indonesia and relate these to gender and cohort. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out where dental students in years (cohorts) 1, 2, 4–6 were invited to take the Revised Purdue Spatial Visualization Test (PSVT-R) and the redrawn Vandenberg and Kuse Mental Rotation Test (MRT) in order to assess spatial ability. In addition, the 1st- and 2nd-year dental students carried out gross anatomy assessments. Spatial ability test results were compared using an independent t-test to detect gender differences, one-way analysis of variance to inspect cohort differences, and correlation relative to anatomy module scores. Results: A total of 326 dental students voluntarily participated. Statistically significant gender differences were found in both spatial ability tests in the overall sample (PSVT-R: p<0.001; MRT: p=0.001). When the 1st- and 2nd-year dental students were pooled, significant gender differences were detected, in which males scored higher than females in both spatial ability tests (PSVT-R: p<0.001; MRT: p=0.003). In anatomy, however, females scored higher than the males (p=0.005). In addition, there were weak to moderate, but significant correlations between spatial ability tests and anatomy scores. Conclusion: This study indicated that spatial ability may not be the only factor predicting the academic performance of dental students. However, dental students with low spatial ability scores may need supplementary educational techniques when learning specific spatial tasks.

Polymorphic Diversity of UBX Domain D from cDNA Isolated from Pectoral Muscle of Korean Native Chicken

Sun, Sang-Soo,Kamyab, Abdolreza,Firman, Jeff The Korean Society of Poultry Science 2011 韓國家禽學會誌 Vol.38 No.3

The objectives of this study are to identify specific functional genes which are related with growth and protein structure of the pectoral muscle of Korean native chicken. Pectoral muscle was isolated from three Korean native chickens (KNC, red brown, 12 months old, 2.41 ${\pm}$ 0.24 kg) and three Cornish chickens (16 month old, 2.76 ${\pm}$ 3.0 kg). The subtraction cDNA library was prepared in PCR4 Blunt-TOPO vector. The DNA sequence homology was compared with other breeds and species in GenBank. A clone NDS-81 was found to be unique for the DNA sequence homology with UBX family. Their partial sequence has high homology (98%) with chicken UBX domain D. Chicken UBX domain has chicken (93%), cattle (68%), dog (67%), mouse (64%) and, human (63%) nucleotide sequence homology. Several regions were mutated from T in chicken to C or G in the NDS-81 clone. The first site is LAD in chicken, but it was expressed as (L)RM in clone NDS-81. In this site, amino acids were changed from Ala to Arg, and from Asp to Met. The second site was changed from ER (Arg) in chicken to ED (Asp) in clone NDS-81. They are both containing functional side chains and play an important role in binding other proteins. Therefore, the clone NDS-81 could be a different candidate gene for the UBX family gene and could related with pectoral muscle structure of Korean native chicken.
