        Production of Mycelial Biomass and Exo-polymer by Hericium erinaceus CZ-2: Optimization of Nutrients Levels using Response Surface Methodology

        The Doehlert experimental design was used to optimize the production of mycelial biomass and exopolymer from Hericium erinaceus CZ-2 in this study. Statistical analysis showed that the linear and quadric terms of 3 variables: corn flour, yeast extract, and corn steep liquor had significant effects. The optimized combination of these 3 variables was confirmed through validation experiments. The optimal conditions for higher production of mycelial biomass (19.92 g/L) were estimated when the media composition concentrations were set as: 30.85 g/L,corn flour; 2.81 g/L, yeast extract; 16.9 mL/L, corn steep liquor; 10 g/L, glucose; 1 g/L, KH2PO4; and 0.5 g/L,MgSO4·7H2O; while a maximal exo-polymer yield (1.653g/L) could be achieved when setting concentrations of:32.71 g/L, corn flour; 2.35 g/L, Yeast extract; 14.42 mL/L,Corn steep liquor; 10 g/L, glucose; 1 g/L, KH2PO4; and 0.5g/L, MgSO4·7H2O. The upscale production was also investigated using a 15 L fermentor using the optimized medium.

        Artillery structural dynamic responses uncertain optimization based on robust Nash game method

        To coordinate the contradiction between artillery launching performance indexes under parameter uncertainty, this paper proposes an artillery structural dynamic responses optimization method based on robust Nash game theory. First, a multi-flexible body dynamic model for a 155 mm caliber artillery is established, which coupling the interior ballistic model, recoil force model, and balance mechanism model. Secondly, the live firing experiment is carried out to verify the accuracy of the established multi-flexible model. Then the muzzle vibration and maximum chamber pressure are selected as the players in the game. Because these two indexes can represent the most critical contradictory indexes of artillery, namely the firing accuracy and power. Afterward, to reduce the computational time, the BP neural network surrogate model is constructed to replace the original multi-flexible body dynamic model. Finally, the double-loop approach is adopted to search for the robust Nash equilibrium. The inner loop optimization is used to determine the worst-case scenario caused by the parameter uncertainty. The outer loop optimization is referred to as the robust Nash equilibrium solution process. The results show that the artillery structural dynamics responses have been significantly improved.

      • School Physical Education Policy in Today`s China

        Purpose: School physical education is related to the healthy growth and all-round development of adolescent, who is the future of country and nation. School physical education policy directly affects the development of school physical education itself. This paper focus on school physical education policy, which is divided into two categories specific policies and integrated policies, and the following four parts, curriculum and teaching, extracurricular sports, sports facilities and other special policies. Method: The method of literature and logical analysis are used to analyze Chinese school physical education policy and unfold scenery of environment and basis of today China’s school physical education, providing a theoretical basis for the understanding of contemporary China school physical education development context and value in all aspects. Result: Studies suggest that: 1 School physical education curriculum and teaching policy uphold the ideals of adolescent physical health, undergo a process from rough to concrete and fine standards and assessment, and enhance school autonomy in teaching contents; 2. Extracurricular sport is an important part in school sports culture construction, which is not only the path of reserve talents cultivation, but also an important choice for the future sports and education combination mode. Extracurricular sports activities, high-level sports teams, after-school sports training and competition system policy are the four parts, which promote each other, forming a school extracurricular sports policy linkage system; 3. School sports facilities are an important material basis for school physical education work. A series of policies were made to address issues such as the lack of sports venues, and policies for sports facilities and equipment directory standards policy is gradually refined. While "Poison playground" and other practical problems forcing us to continue to improve related policies; 4. School physical education policy involves some special area development and special projects, such as the western rural school physical education, development of traditional sports and the focused sport-football, reflecting the importance of key issues in policy design ; 5 School physical education policy requires co-ordination of internal and external resources, establish and improve a network and linkage mechanism of communities, families and schools, integrate social resources and promote a coordinated development, which is consistent with the overall thinking; 6 School physical education policy stresses the essentials while keep the overall view, established a series of policies with sunshine sports and school football as leading role, which emphasis on the coordination of social multiple forces promoting school physical education development. Its basic philosophy continues to move forward and to maintain the continuity of policy in the time dimension.

        Recognition of Critical Links for Gating Using Queue Detector Data

        This paper introduces the concept of rolling time occupancy, and presents a method for recognizing critical links for gating, where spillovers will occur or have done already. The key idea of this new method is that, when the queue length becomes sufficient for the end of the queue to approach the queue detector, the speed of vehicles arriving from upstream will be slower than the free flow speed, which implies that a series of rolling time occupancies will all be greater than a particular threshold. Given that the value of a single rolling time occupancy is strongly influenced by buses and other confounders during a minor time interval, the new criteria for critical link identification are divided into two parts: the occupancy threshold for possible congestion, and the number of rolling time occupancies for inevitable congestion. Next, this paper presents the relationship between queue length and rolling time occupancy, using traffic data procured using VISSIM simulations. On this basis, the queue length threshold at which a spillover can be judged to be going to occur or to have already occurred is determined. Finally, using the misjudgment ratio and the trigger postponement amount as evaluation indices, the method proposed in this paper is evaluated under ten different simulation conditions. The results show that the maximum and average misjudgment ratios are 32.32% and 10.11%, respectively; meanwhile, the average postponement amount is less than 50 seconds for all ten simulation conditions.

        A note on the Cauchy problem for heat equations with coupling moving reactions of mixed type

        This paper deals with the Cauchy problem for heat equations with coupling moving reactions of mixed type. After obtaining the infinite Fujita blow-up exponent, we classify optimally the simultaneous and non-simultaneous blow-up for two components of the solutions. Moreover, blow-up rates and set are determined. By using the analogous procedures, one can fill in the gaps for the other two systems, which are studied in the paper {`Australian and New Zealand Industrial and Applied Mathematics Journal'} {48}(2006)37--56.

        Effect of Culture Medium on Hydrogen Production by Sulfur-deprived Marine Green Algae Platymonas subcordiformis

        To study the effect of culture medium on hydrogen production by the marine green algae,Platymonas subcordiformis under sulfur deprivation, cell growth, hydrogen production, and starch and protein catabolism was investigated in the work. Algae cells cultured only in optimized medium required 6~8 days to reach the late logarithmic at the approximate density of (2.00 ± 0.18) × 10ⁿ cells/mL(n=6), which in traditional medium needed 18~22 days to reach (1.85 ± 0.20) × 10ⁿ cells/mL(n=6). Increased levels of Chlorophyll (10.74 ± 0.20 μg/mL), starch (149.50 ± 6.15 μg/mL), and protein (213.00 ± 7.36 μg/mL) were accumulated in optimized medium, which were 1.06, 1.47, and 1.87-fold of the algae cells cultured in traditional medium, respectively. The sealed culture of algae cells in sulfur-deprived optimized medium shifted to anaerobic conditions after 96 h of light illumination and produced 0.45 ± 0.12 mL H2, but in traditional medium maintained aerobic condition and no hydrogen was produced.         MiR-363 inhibits cisplatin chemoresistance of epithelial ovarian cancer by regulating snail-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition

        Chemoresistance is a major barrier to successful cisplatinbased chemotherapy for epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), and emerging evidences suggest that microRNAs (miRNAs) are involved in the resistance. In this study, it was indicated that miR-363 downregulation was significantly correlated with EOC carcinogenesis and cisplatin resistance. Moreover, miR-363 overexpression could resensitise cisplatin-resistant EOC cells to cisplatin treatment both in vitro and in vivo. In addition, data revealed that EMT inducer Snail was significantly upregulated in cisplatin-resistant EOC cell lines and EOC patients and was a functional target of miR-363 in EOC cells. Furthermore, snail overexpression could significantly attenuate miR-363-suppressed cisplatin resistance of EOC cells, suggesting that miR-363-regulated cisplatin resistance is mediated by snail-induced EMT in EOC cells. Taken together, findings suggest that miR-363 may be a biomarker for predicting responsiveness to cisplatin-based chemotherapy and a potential therapeutic target in EOC.
