        GRAPHENE AS TUNABLE STATIONARY PHASE ADDITIVE FOR ENANTIOSEPARATION

        Graphene-based biosensor and chiral sensor have made significant progress in recent years. Because of the similarity of the optical enantiomers, enantioseparation is perhaps the most subtle to achieve. Developing more effectively chiral separation techniques based on graphene is highly desirable. Herein, pristine graphene was prepared and then applicated to assist resolution of two racemic drugs of propranolol and ofloxacin using thin-layer chromatography (TLC). In comparison with TLC chiral separation by only using pure D-(-)-tartaric acid as a selector with relatively low degree of separation, a mixture of graphene and D-(-)-tartaric acid is more attractive, efficient and ready available. The high specific resolution ability for racemic compounds aided by graphene might allow its potential application in future chiral separation technologies.

        A Facile Method to Fabricate Bioenvironmentally Friendly Janus Nonwoven Medical Covers: Preparation and Property Evaluation

        Medical product contamination is a serious threat to patients’ health. However, designing medical covers thatensure Janus performance and outstanding abrasion resistance, mechanical performances has remained a great challenge. Inthis study, a novel Janus nonwoven fabric nonwoven fabric consists of a hydrophilic inner layer of polylactic acid (PLA)/lowmeltingpolylactic acid (LPLA) and a coated outer layer of hydrophobic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is successfullyfabricated. The subsequent PLA/LPLA-TPU textiles exhibits excellent protective performance of inner absorption. Moreover, the coating improves tensile strength and increases abrasion resistance. A mechanism of mechanical failure isfurther studied. This kind of nonwoven fabric is suggested to be a promising candidate for medical covers and health supplies.

        試論“x蜜”詞類現象

        Language is a constantly developing and changing system, and vocabulary plays an important role in this system. In recent years, with the emergence of new vocabulary, it has bringed infinite vitality to the language system. Especially for those new words composed of quasi-affixes, many scholars have shown strong research interest in it, and lots of achievements have been obtained. Among the many research results, we have learned that the word family of ‘X蜜’, known only by the word ‘bosom friend(闺蜜)’, but has a certain research value. At present, in the existing research results, we find that the analysis of ‘蜜’ is incomplete. The existing papers mainly take the word ‘bosom friend(闺蜜)’ as the research object, and introduce to us the origin and composition of the word ‘bosom friend(闺蜜)’. Few papers have systematically analyzed the semantic development of ‘蜜’ and the semantic analysis of ‘X蜜’ word family. And There is no exact statement as to whether ‘蜜’ can be used as a quasi-affix or affix. Until now there has been no ‘蜜’ ’s prediction of future. Therefore, this paper will take ‘蜜’ as the analysis object, mainly study the semantic development of ‘蜜’ and the semantic analysis of ‘X蜜’. In addition, from the perspective of quasi-affixes, this paper also analyzes the tendency of quasi-affix ‘蜜’ and predicts the development of the quasi-affix ‘蜜’.

        프랙탈 조형 특성을 활용한 패션디자인

        프랙탈의 개념은 부분과 전체가 똑같은 모양을 하고 있는 자기유사성 개념을 기하학적으로 푼 구조를 말한다. 자연현상의 다양한 형태에서 나타나고 있으며, 조형적 특성 또한 예술과 디자인의 창의적인 모티브로 적용이 가능하다. 이에 본 연구는 자연의 이미지를 바탕으로 프랙탈 조형의 특성을 활용한 패션디자인 개발에 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구 방법은 이론 연구와 이를 바탕으로 한 디자인 작품 기획 및 제작으로 나뉜다. 먼저 문헌과 선행연구를 통하여 프랙탈의 정의와 조형적 특성을 패션 사례와 함께 정리하여 연구이론을 체계화한 후, 자연 형태와 프랙탈의 특성을 적용하여 패션디자인 개발을 진행한다. 연구 결과는 앞의 이론적 배경이 접목된 총 2개의 패션디자인 제안과 실물로 제작된 작품이다. 자연 형태 가운데 본 연구의 주요 모티브인 혈액세포와 혈관 및 주상절리 등의 이미지를 프랙탈의 자기유사성, 불규칙성, 무작위성, 반복성, 중첩성의 특성과 적용하였다. 마지막으로 프랙탈 특성이 적용된 패션디자인은 다양한 소재의 변형과 폭넓은 디자인 형태 전개가 가능하며, 디자이너의 창의성과 개성에 따른 디자인 전환 방법을 구축할 수 있다. 앞으로 본 연구와 같이 창의적인 디자인 개발에 바탕이 되는 프랙탈 특성에 관한 다양한 디자인 연구가 계속 이어지기를 바라는 바이다. The concept of Fractal refers to the structure of the concept of self-similarity which explained by the geometry with the partial shape is identical with the whole shape. The “Fractal” can be reflected in multiple forms of natural phenomenons. Furthermore, the styling features also can be applied to creative theme of art and design. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a garment design based on the natural image and using the fractal shape characteristics. Research Methods This research method is divided into theoretical research, planning and production of design works based on the following aspects. First, through the literature and prior research, combine the fractal definition and modeling characteristics with fashion cases, systematically study the theory, and application of the natural form and fractal characteristics to develop fashion design. Research results is a total of 2 fashion design proposals and physical production works combined with the previous theoretical background. In the natural form, the main keytone of this study is to apply images such as blood cells, blood vessels and columnar joints to fractal,anthocyanin cells Self-Similarity, Irregularity, Randomness, Repeatability, Overlapping. Conclusion Clothing design using fractal characteristics can carry out deformation of various materials and a wide range of design forms, and can also be leverage on the designer's creativity. In the future, we are looking forward that various design studies on fractal properties based on creative design development will continue like this.

        Although the depression of oversea construction market becomes more serious recent years, asian construction market is relatively dynamic, particularly in china. However, few research has been conducted about how to manage construction projects in china as foreign developers. Risk management is surely important for the success of a construction project conducted by a foreign developer in the country due to differences of systems as well as regulations. Important risks were identified by series of expert interviews and surveys using the WBS-RBS method, namely tender max. price error, bill of quantities error, inappropriate contract type etc, after explaining construction cost estimation method in China. Then, several risk responding strategies suggested by experienced experts are proposed. The results will be in the interests for those that are likely conduct construction projects in china as foreign bodies.

      • Macrophages Promote Coal Tar Pitch Extract-induced Tumorigenesis of BEAS-2B Cells and Tumor Metastasis in Nude Mice Mediated by AP-1

        Background: We sought to evaluate the role of tumor associated macrophages (TAMs) on the promotion of coal tar pitch extract (CTPE)-induced tumorigenesis of human bronchial epithelial cells (BEAS-2B) and tumor metastasis in nude mice, and related mechanisms. Materials and Methods: BEAS-2B cells were first treated with 2.4 mg/mL CTPE for 72 hours. After removal of CTPE, the cells were continuously cultured and passaged using trypsin-EDTA. THP-1 cells were used as macrophage-like cells. BEAS-2B cells under different conditions (n=6/group) were injected into the back necks of nude mice, and alterations of tumor xenograft growth, indicative of tumorigenicity, and tumor metastasis were determined. Pathological changes (tumor nests and microvascular lesions) of HE-stained tumor tissues were also evaluated. The expression of AP-1(c-Jun) in xenografts and metastatic tumors was determined using immunohistochemistry. Results: Tumor size and weight in nude mice transplanted with the mixture of CTPE-induced passage 30 BEAS-2B and THP-1 cells (2:1) were increased compared to those from the CTPE-treated BEAS-2B cells at passage 30 alone at different observation time points. Tumor metastasis to lymph nodes and liver was only detected after transplantation of a mixture the two kinds of cells. The numbers of tumor nests and microvascular lesions, and the expression levels of AP-1 (c-Jun) in tumors from the mixture of two kinds of cells were increased apparently in contrast to those in tumor from the CTPE-treated BEAS-2B cells of passage 30 alone. In addition, there was positive correlation between AP-1 (c-Jun) expression level and the number of microvascular lesions, or between AP-1 (c-Jun) expression level and tumor metastasis in these two groups. Conclusions: TAMs not only facilitate tumorigenesis transformation of CTPE-induced BEAS-2B cells, but also promote tumor growth, angiogenesis and metastasis in nude mice in vivo, which may be mediated by AP-1.

        An Analysis of Regenerative Braking and Energy Saving for Electric Vehicle with In-Wheel Motors

        Based on the structural features of electric vehicle (EV) driven by in-wheel motors and the characteristics of low speed as well as high torque for in-wheel motors, regenerative braking method for in-wheel motors has been presented. All braking torque for vehicle deceleration is output by in-wheel motors under Medium-intensity braking condition for the sake of recovering the maximum braking energy. The vehicle dynamics model that includes the hydraulic braking system and in-wheel motors driving system has been built by AMESim software. Simulation has been carried out for vehicle driving conditions by NEDC cycle and FTP75 cycle. The result shows that the recovery rate of braking energy is increased dramatically by in-wheel motor braking method. The energy efficiency of electric vehicle has been improved more than 30%. It is significant for electric vehicles to increase driving range and reduce costs.

        Depression and APOEε4 Status in Individuals with Subjective Cognitive Decline: A Meta-Analysis

        Objective To evaluate the associative role of depression and apolipoprotein E epsilon 4 allele (APOEε4) in subjective cognitive decline(SCD) and its progression to objective cognitive decline. Methods After literature search in electronic databases, studies were selected by following precise eligibility criteria. Meta-analyses were performed to examine the role of APOEε4 and depression in SCD or its progression to mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or dementia. Results APOEε4 positivity was not different between SCD and normal individuals but was significantly higher in individuals with SCD plus than in normal individuals [odds ratio: 2.39 (95% CI: 1.87, 3.05); p<0.00001] and in SCD converters than in non-converters [odds ratio: 5.19 (95% CI: 2.36, 11.42); p<0.00001]. Depression was significantly higher in individuals with SCD [standardized mean difference: 0.63 (0.45, 0.82); p<0.00001] and SCD plus [standardized mean difference: 0.83 (0.43, 1.22); p<0.0001] than in normal individuals. However, depression was not different between SCD and MCI or between SCD converters and non-converters. Age of SCD converters was higher than non-converters [mean difference: 2.95 years (0.58, 5.31)]. Conclusion Whereas APOEε4 positivity was higher in SCD plus and SCD converters, depression was higher in SCD and SCD plus but was not different between SCD and MCI.
