유럽문화사에 나타난 가면과 정체성의 관계 연구 (1)

코로나바이러스의 범유행으로 이목을 집중시킨 마스크를 둘러싸고 사회정치적으로 많은 논란이 제기되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 논란을 이해하기 위해서 넓은 의미에서 얼굴을 가리는 가면의 역사를 통시적으로 살펴본다. 연구의 핵심은 가면이 정체성 형성이나 변신 등의 문제와 관련해 역사적으로 어떤 의미변화 과정을 거쳐왔는지를 알아보는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 가면 착용을 통한 변신의 의미 및 가면과 정체성의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 가면과 얼굴을 가리키는 개념의 어원 변천사를 추적한다. 이로써 가면이 어떻게 사회적이고 역사적인 변화에 반응해왔는지를 드러내고, 마스크를 둘러싼 현대사회의 다양한 담론을 이해하는 중요한 단서를 제공할 수 있게 된다. 다음으로 고대부터 중세를 거쳐 18세기 말에 이르기까지 가면이 사회적으로 어떤 의미를 부여받으며 정체성 문제에 영향을 미쳤는지 살펴본다. 세부적으로는 고대 초기의 디오니소스 숭배의식과 연극에서 사용된 가면 그리고 이집트의 데스마스크를 비롯하여 중세 신비극의 가면이 고찰대상이 되며, 르네상스에서 근대 직전까지의 코메디아 델라르테의 가면과 베네치아의 바우타 가면도 논의의 대상에 포함했다. 이러한 통시적인 연구를 통해 인류 초기에 변신을 가능하게 하고 동물신이나 망자와의 접신을 가능하게 했던 가면이 어떻게 점점 신성한 의미를 상실하며 세속화되고 부정적 의미를 획득하게 되었는지 밝히고 있다. Sowohl in der primitiven Gesellschaft als auch in der frühen griechischen und ägyptischen Gesellschaft hat die Maske eine positive Bedeutung. In solchen Gesellschaften verwandeln sich ein Schaman oder ein Priester, die Masken tragen, durch die Seelenreise in die Tiere oder in die Toten. Auch im Dionysoskult tragen die männlichen Teilnehmer Masken. Dabei vergessen sie sich selbst, geraten in einen Rausch und fühlen sich mit Dionysos vereint. Jedoch verändert sich die Bedeutung der Maske seit dem antiken griechischen Theater. Die Maske gewinnt nun ein repräsentatives Merkmal, weil die Maskenträger die Rolle spielen, auf die die Maske verweist. In Bezug auf den Maskengebrauch findet eine Wende im Mittelalter statt, die eng mit der christlichen Religion zusammenhängt. Im Christentum wird keine Verwandlung außer der Verwandlung Jesus Christi anerkannt. Deshalb ist das Maskentragen nur im mittelalterlichen Mysterienspiel erlaubt, wobei der Maskenträger einen Teufel spielt. Vom 16. bis zum 18. Jahrhundert erfreut sich Commedia dell’arte der Beliebtheit, in dem die meisten Schauspieler Masken tragen und dadurch soziale Typen darstellen. In Venezia hingegen tragen die Oberschicht in der Wirklichkeit Masken, die ihr einerseits die Anonymität gewährleisten und andererseits ihren sozialen Status zur Schau stellen.

코로나19 이후 태권도장의 경영환경 변화 예측 및 대응방안

본 연구는 코로나19가 종식된 이후 태권도장의 경영환경 변화를 예측하고 그에 따른 대응방안을 모색하여 경영 안정화 및 새로운 경영전략 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 델파이기법을 활용하여 2020년 현재 태권도장을 13년 이상 운영하고 있는 대한태권도협회 교육 강사 11명을 전문가 집단으로 선정하여 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 총 3차에 걸쳐 조사가 진행되었으며, 변화 예측과 대응방안 영역에서 67문항을 추출하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 경영환경에 대한 변화 예측은 거시적 관점과 미시적 관점에서 급진적인 변화가 일어날 것이며, 온라인 매체를 활용한 교육이 도장 경영에 중요한 역할을 할 것이다. 또한 코로나 종식 이후에도 방역과 위생 관리에 신경을 쓰는 도장이 많아질 것이다. 둘째, 경영환경에 대한 대응방안은 정부나 유관기관으로부터 체육 정책 지원을 요구하는 한편 도장 경영 시스템을 정비해야 하며, 온라인 매체를 활용할 수 있는 능력을 키워야 한다. 또한 수련생에게 진심을 다하는 마음으로 지도하며, 태권도장의 위생관리를 위한 지속적인 노력을 기울여야 한다. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data to stabilize management and establish a new management strategy by expecting management environment change after Coronavirus Disease-19(COVID-19) situation is finished and finding countermeasures according to this change. To achieve this purpose, the data was collected and analyzed selecting 11 trainers in Korea Taekwondo Association operating Taekwondo gym for more than 13 years now using the Delphi method. The survey were conducted in total 3 times and there was the decision as follows by extracting 67 questions in change prediction and responses. There will be a rapid change in terms of macroscopic and microscopic view for change prediction in management environment and the training using online media will be a major role in Taekwondo gym the management. Also, there will be lots of Taekwondo gym to take care of prevention of epidemics and sanitation management after COVID-19 termination. Second, the response to the business environment while requiring support for the athletic policy from governments and agencies, the coating management system must be maintained, and the ability to utilize online media should be developed. Also, the master should instruct the teaching from the heart and make an effort to manage Taekwondo gym with sanitation management.

에크하르트 니켈의 『히스테리아』에 나타난 급진적 자연 우선주의의 역설과 마술적 예술의 양가성

에크하르트 니켈의 첫 장편 소설 『히스테리아 Hysteria』에서는 친환경 사회를 표방하는 미래사회가 사실은 감시 체계를 가동하고 신의 창조를 모방하여 자연을 오히려 거스르는 디스토피아 사회로 변질되는 과정이 다루어진다. 이 소설은 특히 조리스-카를 위스망스의 『거꾸로 À rebours』의 구조를 차용하여 이러한 역설을 설득력 있게 보여준다. 본문 첫 번째 장에서는 우선 루소기병대로 불리는 극단주의적인 자연 우선주의자들이 아웃사이더 세력에서 출발해 제도권으로 편입되는 과정과 그 후 감시와 통제를 일삼는 기관으로 변모하여 자연을 인공물로 대체하며 자연을 파괴하는 양상을 다룬다. 두 번째 장에서는 이러한 감시의 시선에 기반을 둔 통제사회가 또 다른 한편에서는 마술적 시선을 이용해 인공자연이라는 예술작품을 만들며 국민을 어떻게 기만하는지를 보여준다. 하지만 작가는 이러한 마술적 시선에 반대해 사실적인 시선을 내세우기보다는 또 다른 마술적 시선을 그 대안으로 제시한다. 이러한 마술적 시선에 의해 창조된 예술은 앞에서 언급한 기만적 시선의 현실 왜곡을 폭로하고 그것에 저항할 수 있는 기반을 마련한다. Im Roman Hysteria von Eckhart Nickel geht es um die künftige dystopische Gesellschaft, in der die radikale Naturschutzbewegung paradoxerweise zur totalen Überwachungsgesellschaft und zum Ersatz der Natur durch künstliche Produkte führt Die vorliegende Arbeit besteht aus zwei Teilen. Im ersten Teil steht die Entstehungsgeschichte und Entwicklung der Rousseau-Husaren im Mittelpunkt, deren Ziel die Dominanz der Natur über die Menschen ist. In der Anfangsphase sind sie nur Underground-Aktivisten mit dem Motto ‘Returanatura’, jedoch gründen diese Returanatur-Anhänger ein kulinarsches Institut, das später offiziell dem Ernährungsministerium unterstellt und damit zur Machtinstitution wird. Dieses kulinarische Institut ist ein Symbol für die Kontrollgesellschaft, welche die Bevölkerung ständig und überall überwacht. Ihre eigentliche Idee entartet zur Schaffung einer überspitzten künstlichen Welt. Im zweiten Teil geht es um die Ambivalenz der magischen Kunst. Das kulinarisches Institut gibt die künstliche Natur als pure Natur aus, wobei ein magischer Blick als trügerischer Trick zur optischen Täuschung dient. Dem von diesem trügerischen Blick geschaffenen Kunstwerk als artifizieller Natur steht die von einem anderen magischen Blick geschaffene Kunst gegenüber, die diese optische Täuschung enthüllt und der Manipulation der Wirklichkeit widersteht.

A Study on Competency Development of Lifelong Education Instructors

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the core competencies, the developmental stages of compe-tency, and the learning patterns of lifelong education instructors at local culture centers in department stores that function as a representative lifelong education institution attached to a company. Method: This study performed a qualitative case study. This included an in-depth interview with 8 people who have 25-35 years of experience as lifelong education instructors at culture centers in department stores. For the data analysis, thematic analysis and contents analysis methods were used. For the analysis framework of this study, Gardner's I/D/F system approach(individual/domain/field system approach: I/D/F) model, which was sug-gested in the theoretical background, was used. Results: The study derived three competency factors, three stages of competency development, and three learning types of lifelong education instructors at culture centers in department stores. Conclusion: First, there were three components of competency development of lifelong education instructors at culture centers in department stores: (1)knowledge and skills, (2)emotion regulation, and (3)performance and reflection. Second, the competency development stages of lifelong education instructors at culture centers in department stores were divided into three stages: (1)novice instructors → (2)professional instructors → (3)Out-standing instructors. Third, the learning types that promote the competency development of lifelong education instructors in culture centers in department stores were as follows: (1)learning by modeling, (2)learning by trial and error, and (3)anticipatory·creative learning.

A Study on the E-textiles Dip-Coated with Electrically Conductive Hybrid Nano-Structures

Currently, e-textile market is rapidly expanding and the emerging area of e-textiles requires electrically conductive threads for diverse applications, including wearable innovative e-textiles that can transmit/receive and display data with a variety of functions. This study introduces hybrid nano-structures which may help increase the conductivity of the textile threads for use in wearable and flexible smart apparels. For this aim, Ag was selected as a conductive material, and yarn treatment was implemented where silver nanowire (AgNW) and graphene flake (GF) hybrid structures overcome the limitations of the AgNW alone. The yarn treatment includes several treatment conditions, e.g., annealing temperature, annealing time, binder material such as polyurethane (PU), coating time, in order to search for the optimum method to form stable conductive nano-scale composite materials as thin film on the surface of textile yarns. Treatedyarns showed improved electrical resistance readings. The functionality of the spandex yarn as a stretchable conductive thread was also demonstrated. When the yarn specimens were treated with colloid of AgNW/GF, relatively good electrical conductivity value was obtained. During the extension and recovery cycles of the treated yarns, the initial resistance values did not deteriorate significantly, since the network of nanowire structure with the support of GF and polyurethane stayed flexible and stable. Through this research, it was found that when one-dimensional structure of AgNW and two-dimensional structure of GF were mixed as colloids and treated on the surface of textile yarns, flexible and stretchable electrical conductor could be formed.

Toxicological Study of Safflower Seeds by Thirteen-Week Repeated Oral Administration in F344 Rats

Safflower seeds which contains large amounts of conjugated linoleic acid and glyceride, are known to have effect on osteoporosis, bone fracture, and cholesterol metabolism. In this study, the 13-week repeated oral dose toxicity study of Safflower seeds was performed using F344 rats. In 14-day repeated dose study to determine the adequate dosage of safflower seeds administration, no other important changes were observed except statistically significant decreases in the mean absolute weights of the liver and the mean liver weight relative to body weight. It was dose-related finding at groups higher than 0.015 g/㎏ body weight (B.W.) in males and 0.045 g/㎏ B.W. in females. Based on preliminary test, safflower seeds was orally administered five times per week, weekday only to 5 groups of 6-week-old 10 male and 10 female F344 rats at dosage levels of 0.003, 0.016, 0.08, 0.4 and 2 g/㎏/day. The control group, also consisting of 10 males and 10 females, received the vehicle, 1% methylcellulose (MC), on a comparable regimen. One male and a female in the 0.4 g/㎏/day group, and a female in the 2 g/㎏/day group were found dead but the death could not be related to test article toxicity. No test article-related effect was observed on clinical signs and water consumption. For the 2 g/㎏/day males, there were significant decrease in body weight changes and food consumption from 10th week to study termination. The statistically significant decreases in the mean absolute weights of liver and the mean liver weight relative to body weight of the 0.003, 0.016 and 2 g/㎏/day group males and 0.003, 0.016 and 0.08 g/㎏/day females showed no dose related pattern and considered not to be test article related. There were no dose-related changes in hematology, biochemistry parameters, sperm morphology and vaginal cytology of all animals treated with safflower seeds. Gross and histopathological findings revealed no evidence of specific toxicity related to safflower seeds. These results suggest that no-observed adverse-effect level (NOAEL) of the test substance was considered to be 2 g/㎏/day for male and female rats under the conditions in this study.

Therapeutic implications of cancer epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)

The epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)comprises an essential biological process involving cancer progression as well as initiation. While the EMT has been regarded as a phenotypic conversion from epithelial to mesenchymal cells, recent evidence indicates that it plays a critical role in stemness, metabolic reprogramming, immune evasion and therapeutic resistance of cancer cells. Interestingly, several transcriptional repressors including Snail (SNAI1), Slug (SNAI2) and the ZEB family constitute key players for EMT in cancer as well as in the developmental process. Note that the dynamic conversion between EMT and epithelial reversion (mesenchymal-epithelial transition, MET) occurs through variable intermediate-hybrid states rather than being a binary process. Given the close connection between oncogenic signaling and EMT repressors, the EMT has emerged as a therapeutic target or goal (in terms of MET reversion) in cancer therapy. Here we review the critical role of EMT in therapeutic resistance and the importance of EMT as a therapeutic target for human cancer.

Understanding the Influence of Two Types of Ruminations on Posttraumatic Growth

The main purpose of the current study was twofold: (a) to examine the effects of intrusive rumination and deliberate rumination on posttraumatic growth and (b) to test the mediated moderating effect of psychological acceptance on posttraumatic growth. For this study, 334 South Korean adults completed questionnaires which included demographic information, K-ERRI, K-PTGI, and K-AAQ-II. After data cleaning, a total of 292 responses were analyzed by structural equation modeling. As a result, the initial model which hypothesized that deliberate rumination would predict present intrusive rumination was rejected. In addition, psychological acceptance had a moderating effect on the relationship between past intrusive rumination and present intrusive rumination. The implications for counselors and counseling researchers are discussed.

Congenital fetal syphilis presenting with progression of ultrasound findings: A case report

Congenital fetal syphilis can cause by spirochetes cross the placenta from about 14 weeks of gestation. The clinical manifestations of congenital fetal syphilis are the results of active infection and inflammation and they are influenced by gestational age, stage of maternal syphilis, maternal treatment, and immunological response of the fetus. Untreated syphilis in pregnancy leads to adverse outcomes, including still birth, prematurity, low birth weight, congenital disease among newborn babies. We have a case of active fetal syphilis infection and rapid course of disease in untreated maternal primary infection. A 16-year-old woman at 28+2 weeks of gestation was referred with maternal reactive of FTA-ABS Ig M and Ig G, and fetal hepatosplenomegaly, severe ascites, and thickened placenta on ultrasound scan. The woman had a history of painless small vulvar sore about one month ago, and a report of ultrasound scan showed fetal abdomen with scanty ascites at 27+3 weeks of gestation. Thus the woman had started treatment with benzathine penicillin 2.4 million units. However, the fetus resulted in intrauterine fetal death at 28+6 weeks gestation with severe fetal hydropse, ascites, and pleural effusion. Polymerase chain reaction of amniotic fluid for Treponema pallidum was positive and FTA-ABS Ig M in cord blood was reactive. It is important in all pregnant women during the first trimester of pregnancy should be screened serologically for syphilis.

Terahertz Pulse Imaging of Micro-metastatic Lymph Nodes in Early-stage Cervical Cancer Patients

Lymph node metastasis is an important prognostic factor in cervical cancer patients. We report THz imaging for detecting micro-metastatic foci in the lymph nodes of early-stage uterine cervical cancer patients. Five paraffin-embedded metastatic lymph nodes from two cervical cancer patients were imaged using a THz time-domain spectroscopy system in the reflection mode. The size and shape of the tumor regions were compared with those from histopathologic examinations. The metastatic portions of lymph nodes as small as 3 mm were well delineated by THz imaging. The reflected peak amplitudes were lower in metastatic portions than in the normal portions of lymph nodes, and the difference in their peak-to-peak amplitudes was ~5%.
