The Relationship among Percieved Social Support, Hope and Quality of Life of Cancer Patients Tae, Young Sook. Kong, Eun Sil. Lee, Myung Hwa. Park, Geum Ja The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among percieved social support, hope and Quality of life of the cancer patients and to gain the baseline data for development of nursing intervention program for promoting quality of life in cancer patients. The design of this study was a cross sectional correlational survey. The subjects were 220 out and in-cancer patients in 5 general hospitals in Pusan The data were collected from July 2 to August 1,2001. The instruments were the Percieved social support scale(16 items, 5 point scale) had developed by Tae(1986), Hope scale(12 items, 4point scale) developed by Nowotny(1989) and Quality of life scale(31 items, 10 point scale) developed by Tae et. al(2000). The data was analyzed by the SPSS/PC+ program using frequency & percentage, item mean & standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA & Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of this study was as follows : 1) The item mean score of quality of life was 6.05±1.16 (range 0-10) .The heighest score of subarea of the quality of life was the spiritual wellbeing area (7.09±1.63) and the lowest score was social wellbeing area(5.53±1.65). The mean score of perceived social support was 52.65±10.32 (최고 1, 최저 80). The mean score of family support was32.71±6.66 (range 1- 40) and the mean score of medical team support was 19.93±5.95 (range 1- 40). The mean score of Hope was 37.02±5.64 (range 1-48). 2) There were statistically significant difference in the score of quality of life according to the life effect of religion (F=3.97, p=0.00), treatment method(F=2.94, p=0.01), area of diagnosis (F=3.48, p=0.01), stage of disease (F=13.74, p= 0.00). 3) There was significant correlation between perceived social support(r=0.44, p= 0.000 ; family support: r=0.334, p=0.000, medical support; r=0.395, p=0.000), hope(r=0.563, p= 0.000) and quality of life. In conclusion, there was a significant relationship among perceived social support, hope and quality of life. Therefore perceived social support, hope intervention programs should be developed to improve the quality of life in cancer patients.

후두적출자의 의사소통 태도

본 연구는 후두적출자의 주된 발성방법과 후두적출 경과 시기에 따른 의사소통 태도를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구의 대상은 성인 남자 55명으로 후두암으로 인한 후두적출자들로 구성되었다. 이들에게 실시한 의사소통 태도 설문지는 Erickson의 의사소통 태도 척도-수정판(Modified Erickson Scale of Communication Attitudes: S-24)을 본 연구에 맞게 수정 보완하여 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 주된 발성방법에 따라서는 인공후두기 사용자와 식도발성자간의 의사소통 태도에 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 후두적출 경과 시기에 따라 10년 초과된 후두적출자들과 10년 이하의 후두 적출자들 간의 의사소통 태도에 차이가 없었다. 그러므로 이들의 의사소통 태도의 긍정적 태도를 증가시키기 위하여 다양한 방법을 활용하고 습득하여 이들의 의사소통 능력을 빠르게 재습득 하여 긍정적인 의사소통 능력을 가질 수 있도록 해야 한다. The purpose of this study was to determine laryngectomee's communication attitude. 55 laryngectomees, who were in the range of 40 years old to 80 years old participated in the study. Communication attitude measurements were taken by S-24(Modified Erickson Scale of Communication Attitudes). The results showed as follows: First, score of laryngectomees with artificial larynx and esophageal speakers were no significant. Second, score of laryngectomees with over 10 years after latyngectomy and 10 years after latyngectomy were no significant.

ABSTRACT : It is well known the fact that the BER performance improves through the iterative decoding and the interleaving in an AWGN channel environment. However, as the number of iterations and the size of interleaver are increased, it isrequired much decoding delay, computation, and power consumption for an iterative decoding. In this paper, efficient block interleaver is proposed. The computer simulation results show that it has BER performance improvement of 0.2dB compared to conventional block interleaver.

여대생소비자의 목표중심적 가치가 재정관리행동과 재정만족도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the influences of goal-oriented value to the financial management and financial satisfaction of female college students. The samples were selected from 541 female collegians. Data analysed were carried out using SAS package. Statistics used for data analysis was Cronbach'α coefficient, multiple regression, Pearson correlation analysis, and path analysis. The results were summarized as follows : First, resulting from the multiple regression analysis, the goaloriented value had positive effects to the financial management - planning, implementing, evaluating, and saving - of female collegians. And the goal-oriented value had not indirectly but directly positive effects to the financial satisfaction. Second, the variables that have significant influence on the financial satisfaction were the level of household income, goal-oriented value, implementing, and monthly personal allowance.

수지상세포의 방사선 저항성에 대한 연구

목적 : 림프구와 비교되는 수지상 세포의 방사선 민감성을 보기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 말초혈액에서 분리한 T 림프구에 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30 Gy의 방사선을 조사하고 4시간 후에 유세포 분석기를 이용하여 선량별 세포고사 빈도를 관찰하였다. 또한 조혈모세포에서 미성숙 및 성숙 수지상 세포를 단계적으로 분리 배양하여 각각 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30 Gy, 100 Gy의 방사선을 조사하고 4시간, 24시간 그리고 48 시간 후에 선량별 세포고사 빈도를 관찰하였다. 사이토스핀(cytospin)슬라이드에 림프구와 미성숙 및 성숙 수지상세포를 3×104개 씩 분주하고 May Grunwald-Giemsa 염색한 후, 광학 현미경 하에서 각각의 세포군 당 100개의 세포에서 세포 면적당 핵의 면적 비를 측정하였다. 결과 : 림프구에서는 방사선조사 선량별로 세포고사 빈도가 유의하게 증가하였으나, 수지상 세포에서는 그 분화정도나 방사선조사 선량에 따른 세포고사의 빈도차이가 없었다. 또한 수지상 세포는 방사선선량과 관계없이 용량에 의존적으로 강력한 T-세포 자극능을 보였다. 림프구의 세포에 대한 핵의 면적 비는 미성숙 및 성숙 수지상세포의 세포에 대한 핵의 면적 비보다 현저히 큰 반면, 두 가지 수지상세포간에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 결론 : 수지상세포는 그 분화도와 상관없이 림프구에 비하여 방사선 저항성을 나타내었고, 이는 세포의 형태적 차이에 따른 표적의 크기와 관련이 있을 것으로 생각되며, 향후 분자 생물학적인 연구의 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. Purpose : To evaluate radiation sensitivity of dendritic cells in comparison with lymphocytes. Materials and methods : T lymphocytes captured from peripheral blood were irradiated by 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30Gy. Apoptosis was measured by flowcytometry for staining of Annexin V 4 hours after irradiation. Immature and mature dendritic cells processed from blood hematopoietic stern cell were irradiated by 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30 Gy, 100 Gy respectively and apoptosis was measured by flowcytometry with time difference as 4h, 24h and 48h after irradiation. Morphometric analysis by percent nucleus was measured in three cell groups, also. Results : Lymphocytes showed radiation sensitivity by increasing apoptotic fraction according to radiation dose. However, both mature and immature dendritic cells showed consistent fraction of apoptosis in spite of increasing radiation dose. Percent nucleus ratio is significantly higher in lymphocytes than that of mature or immature dendritic cells. Stimulation of T-cell by dendritic cells was not changed after irradiation. Conclusion : Dendritic cells showed radioresistance which was associated with small size of nucleus in comparison with lymphocytes and this result would be used as a basal data of radio-labelling for the cellular trafficking studies in nuclear medicine fields.

중국 연변조선족 여학생과 한국 여학생의 궁극적 가치와 금전사용양식에 관한 연구 : 연길시와 광주광역시 여학생을 중심으로

This study explored the terminal values(Rokeach's Value) and 5-money spending styles of girls in Yanbian, China and those in South Korea. The subjects were 466 school girls in Yanbian, China and 498 high school girls in South Korea. We used Cronbach'α, t-test, and Pearson correlation analysis as statistical analysis. The results were summarized as follows : 1) at the top of the terminal value hierarchy of girls in the two countries were family security and happiness. 2) resulting from the t-test, there found significant differences between the 5-money spending styles of the Yanbian girls and that of the Korean girls. 3) resulting from the Pearson correlation analysis, there found similarities and differences in relationship between terminal values and money spending styles in two groups.

The culture of costume consists in a consequence of complexity of social, political situation, the organization of society, and art style as well as natural environments other than costume. Also, the culture of costume reflect the state of life which reflect the human being's emotion and will. In the eighteenth century, France showed much developments and changes in culture, industry, and politics. At this period Rococo art style rised, and had a great influence on life style, especially culture and art. In these days, the costume assumed pleasant feeling and eroticism which was the main current of the Rococo art style and determined the costume of the Rouis dynasty. During the regency, Rococo art style occured and sloughed off versailles style, which was the symbol of absolute monarchy. At this period costume came into use of Rocaille, which well represented Baroque's overflowing animation and grave feeling of oppression. During period of Louis 15th, Rococo art style was in blooming. The style of costume had become mainfold and elaborated and the tone of color and pattern of costumes showen gentle feminine mode, on which added inclination of curve such as ruffle, lace, ribbon, design of flowers. During the period of Louis 16th, Rococo was in full blooming, costumes assumed the tendency of unnatural ornament which showed irrationality and exaggeration but, at the last period of Louis 16th costume assumed neoclassicism.

The purpose of this study is to provide a practical planning guide for the actual conditions and the preference by user characteristics in one-room housing. The data collected through questionnaire surveys from the residents of one-room housing in kangnam &inchon. 259 samples are collected and are analyzed by using SPSS-PC. The results are follows: 1) Students: Students prefer monthly rent, down town, officetel type, 8-10py room size, and semi-furnished 2) office worker: They prefer multi function housing mixed office and residence, down town, officetel type, 11-15py, and fully furnished housing. 3) Newly weds: Ordinary habitation site, apt type, 16-18py, and 5:5 division of space(bedroom:others) 4) Seniors: normal habitation site, residence-commerce complex building type, middle corridor type, and 11-15py. 5) Couple with young kids: lease of deposit basis, apt complex site, and 16-18py.
