The Construction of Young Children During COVID-19 in the Online Media in Indonesia
Ina Winangsih,Vina Adriany,Euis Kurniati The Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Ass 2023 Asia-Pacific journal of research in early childhoo Vol.17 No.1
Media is believed to possess its power in constructing discursive meaning in the society. This article aims to see how media creates discourse pertaining children and childhood during the pandemic of COVID-19. This article adopts critical discourse analysis (CDA) in order to unpack power relation in the children discourse by analyzing 78 articles from websites found in the internet. The analysis suggests that there is one hegemonic and dominant discourse on children, namely discourse of vulnerable children. The discourse sees young children as fragile being that do not have capacity to understand the pandemic and also to navigate their situation during the pandemic. While the discourse seems to be empathetic with the children, yet it actually does not recognize children’s ability to have voices. Hence, this kind of discourse potentially excludes the children further from the discussion on how to mitigate the pandemic situation.

Customers are now constantly linked and communicate extensively with each other utilizing technology-enabled media, such as online social networks. Therefore, when making buying decisions, customers are often subjected to social influence. The strategic orientation to face the crisis due to the pandemic is not enough to rely solely on market capabilities and dynamics driven by incentives from the government. The advantages that are built on values that become market attractiveness need to be explored so that they become the basis for developing concepts that serve as frameworks for solving problems. The purpose of this study is to calculate customer lifetime value (CLV) in a space such as Marketplace (with the presence of buyers and sellers) considering network relations and the communication that takes place between them. These communications are in the form of interactions between buyers and buyers (verbal advertising), buyers and sellers (each number affects the other) and sellers with sellers (verbal advertising). In addition to calculating CLV in this study, optimal marketing strategies (for buyers) and pricing (for suppliers) are determined. In fact, this research primarily aims to determine the optimal marketing and pricing strategies in order to maximize the profit and CLV of the customers over time. For modeling, an optimal control model is suggested and finally a numerical example and sensitive analysis are provided to demonstrate the proposed model. The research objective is to analyze the attractiveness and market-based strategies to increase competitiveness in the aviation industry. Descriptive research verification survey of 32 airlines with the observation unit leaders and employees and customers. Data analysis used variant-based structural equations (Structural Equation Modeling - SEM). The results show that market attractiveness remains a value for customers to be man-aged by the company. The implementation of company strategy with customer focus, competitor intelligence, cross-functional intelligence, and performance implications encourages the excellence of the company's position in terms of both price and quality, including innovation in providing services to customers

Pharmaceutical dosage forms containing gelatin are recently of high attention in regard to its porcine content. In Muslim countries, halal products assurance is strictly regulated, not only for food but also for pharmaceutical products. This study aimed to develop gelatin identification and verification method in capsule shells by performing simple simultaneous protein- and nucleic acid based-identification methods. Identification and verification performing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE)—coupled with principle component analysis, and polymerase-chain-reaction (PCR)-restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) were carried out. Gelatin was obtained by extracting the capsules using cold acetone; the precipitate was used directly for PAGE, and was used as well for DNA extraction. The results showed that the porcine gelatin reference showed 12 major bands of peptide profile, with predominant bands at ±200 and ±100–135 kDa on 8 % Tris-glycine gel, while bovine gelatin only showed four major bands. Further, PCR-RFLP result showed two specific bands of the porcine gelatin DNA at 228 and 131 bp, whereas the bovine gelatin DNA bands occurred at 316 and 44 bp. The results demonstrated that the capsule shell samples used in this study contained the following: sample 1 was verified contain porcine gelatin, whereas the three other samples identified contain bovine gelatin. Although the simultaneous approaches seemed need to be improved, it is crucial to maintain their low cost and simple protocol.

< 구두-E-13 > Potential of mineral oil migration from recycle paper based packaging into food
( Lisman Suryanegara Fitria ),( Dede Hy Yanto ),( Raden Pb Laksana ),( Yudhi D Kurniawan ),( Widya Fatriasari ),( Euis Hermiati ) 한국목재공학회 2018 한국목재공학회 학술발표논문집 Vol.2018 No.1
Food packaging is an important part in supporting food safety rules. The fact that not all of food packaging materials meet the requirements of food packaging materials, even primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, cause the food in the packaging is potentially contaminated. One of the primary packaging materials is a duplex carton which is a product of recycled paper. Duplex carton is the most widely used primary material because of its cheaper and more eco-friendly. However, recycled paper is likely to contain printing inks, adhesives, waxes, fluorescent dyes and bleaches, fillers, organochlorine compounds, aromatic hydrocarbons, volatile organic compounds, barrier and oil-resistant materials, amines and surfactants. One of the hazardous substances contained in primary food packaging especially duplex carton is mineral oil or mineral oil hydrocarbon (MOH). Contamination of mineral oil into food packaging can be derived from printing ink contained on recycled paper or from printing ink on the packaging itself. Animal studies show that digestion of small amounts of mineral oil compounds can accumulate in the body and damage the liver and blood vessels in the heart, lymph nodes, and can be carcinogenic. This study aims to determine the potency of mineral oil migration from recycled paper-based food packaging. Migration test method that was used was the Federal Reference Laboratory for Food Contacts at the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR). Based on the analysis result both from internal standard adition at the beginning and at the end of the process showed that there is a potency of mineral oil to migrate from recycled paper based food packaging in this case is duplex carton.
