      • A Proposal for Popularization and Globalization of Traditional Martial Arts

        Each country and the continental union has developed its traditional martial arts, techniques, and virtues. For instance, China owns Wushu and Kungfu, Japan has Karate and Sumo while Taekkyun and Taekwondo are Korean traditional martial arts. South Korea has tried to register their traditional martial arts, Taekwondo, to the sports’ list of International Olympic Committee and endeavored to dominate martial arts sports of Olympic Games such as Judo and Taekwondo to succeed the national prestige. (Lee Shi-Jong and Kim Eui-Hwan, 2008) Moreover, Teakkyun and Ssireum, traditional Korean martial arts, have been registered to UNESCO heritage. According to the Korean Dictionary edited by the National Institute of Korean Language, the general meanings of Martial Arts (Mu-ye), Martial Virtue (Mu-do), and Martial Techniques (Mu-sool) are: Mu-do is broader terminology which includes martial techniques and arts, and also prone to mental and philosophical meanings of MA. Mu-sool is martial techniques relating to kicking, fisticuffs, horse riding, using weapons and so on. Particularly, Mu-sool emphasizes the techniques of individual fights. Mu-ye is ‘martial arts’ emphasizing the technical aspect of martial virtues such as how to improve physical strength and weapon skills aiming to express the aesthetic of martial skills.

        한국 · 대만 유도국가대표선수들의 한팔 업어치기 동작 시근 활성도 비교 분석

        The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the electromyograpic activity between Korean and Taiwanese of Ippon-Seoinage (one-armed shoulder throw) as Tokuinage (favorite and major technique) in Judo. The subject (Tori, attacker), who was 4 Korean and Taiwanese representative judoists from 2007 to 2009 years, respectively, Uke (defender) was a Judo-doll made by Kim, Eui-hwan etc. (2007), whole body of judo-doll was fixed, upper body was flexible 35 degree forward and backward, lower was 15 degree, was used to muscles activities measured by surface-electrode & electromyography. Subject performed 5 successful trials respectively, with parter (Uke) was resistance (R-0%) of judo-doll. Muscle activities were obtained from the electromyography analysis. Muscle activities in all phase, Taiwanese were lower than Korean, right Bicep, Trapezius, Tibialis muscles in Kuzushi phase, right Bicep, right Trapezius, left Rectus abdominus in Tsukuri and Kake phase, different between Taiwanese and Korean were signify (p < .5).

        Primary intraosseous carcinoma of the mandible

        A very uncommon tumor, primary intraosseous carcinoma (PIOC), is a carcinoma arising within the jaw. The definite diagnosis of PIOC is often difficult as the lesion must be distinguished from alveolar carcinoma that may invade the bone from the overlying soft tissues or from the tumors that have metastasized to the jaw from a distant site. A case of PIOC arising in the mandible is presented. The clinical, radiologic, and histologic features are described. This rare lesion should be considered in any differential diagnosis of a jaw radiolucency.

      • 훈련용 유도 人形의 개발에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to develop a judo doll applicable to throwing (Nage-waza) and grappling technique(Katame-waza) training in judo. The height of the doll is 170cm and its weight is 50kg. The weight of the doll can be adjusted by lead belts having various weights that can be attached to the trunk or lower extremities. a judo doll was made of iron steel for skeletal structure vand coil spring for artiualation as similar to the human being in its shape as possible. The skin of the doll was made by soft rubber to be like human skin and protect the doll from an impact exerted during falling down by attack. Judo uniform(Judogi) is worn to the doll like as real human being. The knee angle can be flexed up to 35 degrees backward, torso 30degrees and doll itself 15degrees forward. The electric magnet plate was installed on the floor to keep the doll standing-together(Kumi-kata) the basic natural - position(Shizen-tai) and exert a certain amount of resistive force against an attacker to maximize training effect. Its magnetic force interacted through the iron feet of the doll can be varied by a control system. A structural frame having electric motor and control unit was constructed to automatically put the fallen doll back up to its original Kumi-kata and Shizen-tai after attack. Practicing with this doll has some advantages. It can be used to practice and train alone in such a way to prevent human parter from possible severe injuries. Also it is possible to use biomechanical analyses of judo skills more effectively with the attachment of sensors in the proper location

      • LPE법에 의한 InGaAsP/InP 양자우물 구조 성장

        InGaAsP /InP 양자우물 구조를 액상 에피탁시법으로 성장하여, 그 구조적 특성을 secondary ion mass spectroscopy(SIMS), scanning emission microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM)을 이용하여 조사하였다. SIMS 결과로 부터 well과 barrier의 interface에서 P와 As의 성분이 매우 급준한 변화를 보이고 있는 것으로 보아 LPE로 성장된 시료의 계면구조도 비교적 잘 control이 되었다고 판단된다. SEM과 TEM단면 사진으로 부터 well과 barrier의 계면 상태가 양호하고 well size가 270Å이고 barrier size가 1200Å임을 알 수 있었다. InGaAsP /InP quantum well structures have been grown by liquid phase epitaxy(LPE) and its structural properties have been studied by SIMS, SEM and TEM. In SIMS measurement, the P - and As-components were varied abruptly between wells and barriers, which means that interfacial structures of sample grown by LPE were controlled very well. From the analysis of cross sectional images by SEM and TEM, we know that the interfaces between wells and barriers are very abrupt and that the thickness of well layers and barrier layers are 270Å and 1200Å, respectively .

      • 패러글라이딩 전방이륙시 라이즈-업 동작의 키네매틱 분석

        본 연구는 항공스포츠 중 몇 년 사이에 급속도로 발전한 패러글라이딩(paragliding)의 전방이륙(take off)기술 중 라이즈-업(rise-up) 동작에 관한 키네매틱 변인의 기초자료를 얻는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 대한패러글라이딩협회에 등록된 Y.대학 남자선수 10명을 대상으로 라이즈-업 동작을 각 5회씩 실시하여 연구자가 그 중에서 가장 잘된 동작 1회를 비디오 테입에 편집하여 국내 패러글라이딩 전문가에게 평가를 의뢰하여 상위 5명을 선정한 후 키네매틱 변인을 분석하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 시간변인에 있어서 제 1국면이 전체 소요시간 중 57.45%(1.53sec)가 걸렸으며 2국면의 소요시간이 길수록 전체시간이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 거리변인에서는 제 2,3국면보다 제 1국면에서의 소요거리(2.25±0.36cm)가 51.49%로 가장 길게 나타났다. 각도변인에 있어서 팔꿈치각은 어깨각과 함꼐 상호 보상작용을 통한 캐노피의 균형을 유지하는 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났으며, 발목각은 피험자 개개인의 신장과 보폭의 차이에서 발생하는 편차가 종목 특성으로 큰 차이를 보였다. 또한, 상체 전경각에 있어서 저항이 큰 Cg이벤트에서 굴곡이 이루어졌다가 Hp이벤트에 와서는 신전 시킨 후 캐노피와의 견제를 위한 굴곡이 다시 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 속도변인으로는 신체중심의 속도변화에서 출발신호와 함께 진행방향의 역방향으로 -0.02m/sec의 탄력적인 신체중심의 준비형태를 보였다. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the basic Data Bases which were based on the rise up motion through kinematic variables analysis of rise up motion among the take off technique of the paragliding. To understand this thesis I made use of three dimensions cinematography through DLT method and also analyzed the kinematic variables through velocity variables, distant variables, angle variables and temporal variables. Therefore the conclusion were as follow The first phase is time required of use 57.46%(1.53sec) the total of the time, and second phase of the time longer than increase of the total time. For the first phase distance required of use 51.49%(2.25±0.36m) longer than second and third phase. In case of the valicity change of center of gravity of each events was showed toward -0.02m/sec.

        The purpose of this note is to investigate some elementary topological proper-ties of R^A, the set of all functions from an arbitrary set A to the set of all real numbers. We introduce the concept of equicloseness and supmetric topology, and prove that a set in R^A is metrizable if the set of all projections {π_i|iεA} is equiclose on M.

      • 유도 전방회전낙법 동작의 키네메틱 분석

        The purpose of this study was to analyze kinematic variable at the time of Judo obstacle forward rolling breakfall. To do so, three dimensional kinematic variable at the time of Judo forward rolling breakfall motions was calculated on five model males of Y university, and, time C. O. G. variable were established. That was standardized using cubic spline interpolation based on the maximum motions time by calculating average value and standard deviation per each factor. As a result of this analysis, I reached following conclusion. 1. Time variable At the time of Judo forward rolling breakfall motions, the total required time was 0.93 seconds, and to describe per phase: at the second phase, air phase, 0.50 seconds(54%): at the third phase, completion phase, 0.36 seconds(38%); and the first phase, take-off phase, 0.08(8%) seconds. 2. C. O. G. variable Left(0.01m)·front(0.26m)·up(0.13m) moved at take-off phase, and left(0.09m)·front(1.46m)·up(0.32m) moved at air phase, and left(0.15m)·front(3.79m)·down(0.71m) moved at breakfall phase. In conclusion, all the subjects conducted bending and stretching exercise and made the center move for jumping higher at take-off phase, assumed motions to keep balance at air phase, and assumed motions for widening base surface by lowering the center and extending the joint of the knee to reduce an impact and assume stable posture at breakfall phase.

      • 여성형 유방과 남성유방암에서 HER-2/neu, ER 및 PR의 발현 양상

        To observe the expression of HER-2/neu, ER and PR in breast lesions, such as 14 cases of Gynecornastia, 1 case of invasive papillary carcinoma and 1 case of invasive ductal carcinoma in man and to evaluate the correlation beween results, the authors has been carried out immunohistochemical staining with monoclonal antibodies to HER-2/neu, ER and PR. So, following results are obtained. 1. In Gynecomastia, the HER-2/neu showed weaky positive reactino (score 1) in florid area, but negative reaction in fibrotic area. 2. In Gyneomastia, ER showed 50% positive reaction and PR show 87% positve reaction both in florid and fibrotic area. The ER positive case did not observed among PR negative cases. 3. In male breast carcinoma, the HER-2/neu showed score 3 regardless of cancer type. 4. In male breast carcinoma, the expression pattern of ER and PR show stronger in invastive papillary carcinoma than invasive ductal carcinoma.
