API Fusion Tables and Google Maps Integration for GIS Thematic Mapping Visualization
Risma Ekawati,Suharjito 보안공학연구지원센터(IJSEIA) 2016 International Journal of Software Engineering and Vol.10 No.2
There are many methods that can be used to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) as a representation of the data visualization on a digital map. One alternative that can be used is by using the Google service pack: Fusion Tables and Maps. This research described the development of a prototype for the visualization of GIS to web-based thematic map that was integrated with Google services. The proposed prototype features the upload and conversion of data from excel file XLS and XLSX format into Fusion Tables and displayed the data in a bar chart to explain the map of the area with different color degradation. This research also indicated that the results of upload process and data conversion can be carried out quicker than XLS excel file format as well as a high success rate of the process of merging two tables in Fusion Tables. This indicated that this concept can be implemented on a real thematic digital map system. Therefore, the proposed prototype in this article can be used to facilitate publication in the form of thematic maps on the data owned by the government or companies with using integrated GIS system efficiently. The final results of this research as shown by thematic map visualization systems were able to facilitate data analysis and assist in making decisions.

The transgenic sugarcane overexpressing SoSPS1 gene increased sugar content which may alter the root exudation that interact with soil rhizosphere microorganism. The microbial plays an important role in biochemical cycling and nutrient transformation in the soil. Therefore, it is important to investigate the potential risk of the transgenic sugarcane on soil ecosystem. This study is designed to evaluate the impact of overexpressing gene for sucrose-phosphate synthesis ( So SPS1) on the bacterial diversity, enzyme activity and nutrient contents. The transgenic sugarcane showed no signifi cant difference in the population of culturable bacteria in the soil rhizosphere compared to non-transgenic counterpart. The populations of total, nitrogen-fixing and phosphate-solubilizing bacteria were similar in transgenic and non-transgenic sugarcane, although the bacterial population tends to increase at later sugarcane growth stage may due to the rise in nutrition from the root exudation. The PCR analysis showed no detection of horizontal gene fl ow in the bacteria. However, urease activity was significantly decreased in the transgenic sugarcane concomitant with lower nitrogen content in the soil rhizosphere at a later growth stage might due to the transgenic sugarcane lines increased nitrogen absorption for higher growth rate. Furthermore, the nutrient contents, such as organic carbon, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and calcium, slightly varied in the soil rhizosphere but did not affected by the transgenic sugarcane. The results suggested that the transgenic sugarcane overexpressing SoSPS1 gene may not aff ect the bacterial diversity, nutrient contents and soil ecosystem.
Service Marketing Mix Strategy and Service Loyalty towards Hotel’s Success
Ni Wayan Ekawati,Ni Nyoman Kerti Yasa People&Global Business Association 2018 Global Business and Finance Review Vol.23 No.1
The contribution from service sector is very effective in supporting income growth of a particular country. Hospitality industry has become a mainstay of some developing countries. Hotel services are capable of providing vast employment opportunities, thus demanding the availability of human resources capable of rendering hotel services professionally. The finest services being offered are expected to create service success. The purpose of this research is to identify whether the implemented service mix strategy has an impact on service loyalty and the achievement of service success. The study was conducted on four-star hotels in Bali. The research findings show that service mix strategy has a significant and positive effect on service loyalty. This means, the better or the more precise the implementation of a four-star hotel service mix strategy is, the greater the opportunity to create service loyalty. Service marketing mix strategy influences service success. Loyalty towards hotel services is capable of promoting service success, which means that the more loyal a hotel guest is, the more a hotel is capable of generating service success. There is a positive relationship between service marketing mix strategy and service success when mediated by service loyalty.

Background: Although Indonesia has a considerable proportion of adolescent smokers, nationally representative studies of its determinants remain limited. The 2015 Indonesian Global School-Based Student Health Survey (GSHS) was conducted with school-age adolescents and provided information about smoking behavior. This study aimed to examine the prevalence, determinants, and correlates of tobacco use among adolescents in Indonesia us-ing the GSHS survey. Methods: A secondary data analysis of a cross-sectional study was conducted using data from the 2015 Indonesian GSHS. Multivariate logistic regression was used to assess the determinants and correlates of tobacco use. Results: Our analysis showed that 9.1% of school-age adolescents had used tobacco products in the past 30 days. Most were 13–15 years (61.7%) and had attempted to stop smoking (92.4%). After adjusting for covariates, signifi-cant risk factors associated with tobacco smoking were older age groups (prevalence odds ratio [POR], 3.01–9.40; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.71–23.1), male (POR, 13.7; 95% CI, 8.71–21.5), psychological distress (POR, 1.41; 95% CI, 1.05–1.90), smoking exposure (POR, 1.98–2.15; 95% CI, 1.35–3.42), and when both parents smoked (POR, 2.96; 95% CI, 1.78–4.94). In addition, tobacco use was associated with other risky behaviors, including sex with multiple partners, using drugs, drinking alcohol, and being involved in physical fights. Conclusion: Tobacco use is high among Indonesian adolescents. This prevalence highlights the need for a more stringent tobacco control policy and tailored cessation programs for adolescents by considering important modifi-able determinants of tobacco use among adolescents, including risky smoking-related behaviors.
