Let G = (V,E) be a graph. Let V1, V2, . . . , Vk be non-empty disjoint subsets of V such that union equal to V . Then {V1, V2, . . . , Vk} is called partition of vertex set V . Using this partition the graph G can be uniquely represented by a matrix called L-matrix Pk(G), whose entries belong to the set {2, 1, 0,−1} and defined as follows: aij = 8>>< >>: 2 if vi and vj are adjacent within the partition Vi, −1 if vi and vj are non-adjacent within the partition Vi, 1 if vi and vj are adjacent between the partition Vi and Vj for i 6= j, 0 otherwise. The eigenvalues of this matrix are called k-partition eigenvalues of G. The k-partition energy EPk (G) is defined as the sum of the absolute values of kpartition eigenvalues of G. We determine partition energy of some known graphs and also obtain bounds for EPk (G).
Partition energy of complete product of circulant graphs and some new class of graphs
E. Sampathkumar,S. V. Roopa,K. A. Vidya,M. A. Sriraj 장전수학회 2018 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.28 No.2
Let G = (V,E) be a graph and Pk = {V1, V2, ..., Vk} be a partition of V . The L-matrix with respect to a partition Pk of the vertex set V of graph G of order n is the unique square symmetric matrix Pk(G) = [aij ] with zero diagonal, whose entries aij with i 6≠ j are defined as follows: (i) If vi, vj ∈ Vr, then aij = 2 or −1 according as vivj is an edge or not. (ii) If vi ∈ Vr and vj ∈ Vs for r 6≠s, then aij = 1 or 0 according as vivj is an edge or not. For all Vi and Vj in Pk, i 6≠j remove the edges between vertices of Vi and Vj and add the edges between the vertices of Vi and Vj which are not in G, the resulting graph is called k-complement of G and is denoted by (G)k. For each set Vr in Pk, remove the edges of G joining the vertices within Vr and add the edges of G (complement of G) joining the vertices of Vr, the graph obtained is called k(i)-complement and is denoted by (G)k(i). The k-partition energy of a graph G with respect to partition Pk is denoted by EPk (G) and is defined as the sum of the absolute values of k-partition eigenvalues of Pk(G). In this paper we construct some graphs such that the graph and its 2-complement are equienergetic with respect to a given partition. We also determine partition energy of complete product of m copies of a circulant graph G and its subgraph, their k-complement and k(i)-complement.

Vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) mixed tungsten trioxide (WO3) thin films have been synthesized by a novel pulsed spray pyrolysis technique (PSPT) on glass and fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) coated glass substrates at 400 C. Aqueous solutions of equimolar vanadium chloride and ammonium tungstate were mixed in volume proportions (5%, 10% and 15%) for the deposition of V2O5eWO3 thin films. The structural, morphological, optical and electrochemical properties of V2O5eWO3 thin films were investigated by FT-IR, XRD, SEM, cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and chronocoulometry techniques. The results showed that the electrochemical properties of V2O5 were altered by mixing WO3. All the films exhibited cathodic electrochromism in lithium containing electrolyte (0.5 M LiClO4 þ propylene carbonate (PC)). Maximum coloration efficiency (CE) of about 49 cm2 C1 was observed for the V2O5 film mixed with 15% WO3. The electrochemical stability of the sample was examined and it was found to be stable up to 1000 cycles.

Melanin synthesis is a complex phenomenon which involves about 192 known gene products. Among them, MITF is a key transcription factor for tyrosinase, Trp1 and Trp2 proteins, which are essential for melanin biosynthesis. Thus, intervening inhibitor for the MITF-E-box complex formation can downregulate melanin synthesis. The focus of the present study is to develop a surface plasmon resonance-based system to screen the MITF-E-box complex inhibitor. The standardization of the MITF and E-box binding assay was calibrated for kinetics and specificity, in the presence of a pre-incubated 22 mer sequence containing mutated E-box (CTTGAG) along MITF. The binding assay with C17 was optimized and the steady-state kinetics was evaluated. C17 was identified as inhibitor to MITF-E-box, by virtual screening followed by in vitro assessment and EMSA assay. The k (a) and k (d) were found to be 5.5 x 103 M-1 s(-1) and 0.0014 s(-1), respectively, while the steady-state association constant (K (A)) was 3.928 x 106 M-1. The resonance variations after inhibition were quantified and analyzed to develop the standard method for screening of microphthalmia transcription factor-E-box binding inhibitor.

<P>We observe signals for the decays psi(3770) --> XJ/psi from data acquired with the CLEO detector operating at the CESR e+ e- collider with square root of s = 3773 MeV. We measure the following branching fractions Beta(psi(3770) --> XJ/psi and significances: (189 +/- 20 +/- 20) x 10(-5) (11.6sigma) for X = pi+ pi-, (80 +/- 25 +/- 16) x 10(-5) (3.4sigma) for X = pi0 pi0, and (87 +/- 33 +/- 22) x 10(-5) (3.5sigma) for X = eta, where the errors are statistical and systematic, respectively. The radiative return process e+ e- --> gamma psi(2S) populates the same event sample and is used to measure Gamma ee[psi(2S)] = (2.54 +/- 0.03 +/- 0.11) keV.</P>

Purpose Control of metastatic spread of colorectal cancer (CRC) remains as a major therapeutic challenge. [V4Q5]dDAVP is a vasopressin peptide analog with previously reported anticancer activity against carcinoma tumors. By acting as a selective agonist of arginine vasopressin type 2 membrane receptor (AVPR2) present in endothelial and tumor cells, [V4Q5]dDAVP is able to impair tumor aggressiveness and distant spread. Our aim was to evaluate the potential therapeutic benefits of [V4Q5]dDAVP on highly aggressive CRC disease using experimental models with translational relevance. Materials and Methods Murine CT-26 and human Colo-205 AVPR2-expressing CRC cell lines were used to test the preclinical efficacy of [V4Q5]dDAVP, both in vitro and in vivo. Results In syngeneic mice surgically implanted with CT-26 cells in the spleen, sustained intravenous treatment with [V4Q5]dDAVP (0.3 g/kg) dramatically impaired metastatic progression to liver without overt signs of toxicity, and also reduced experimental lung colonization. The compound inhibited in vivo angiogenesis driven by Colo-205 cells in athymic mice, as well as in vitro endothelial cell migration and capillary tube formation. [V4Q5]dDAVP exerted AVPR2-dependent cytostatic activity in vitro (IC50 1.08 M) and addition to 5-fluorouracil resulted in synergistic antiproliferative effects both in CT-26 and Colo-205 cells. Conclusion The present preclinical study establishes for the first time the efficacy of [V4Q5]dDAVP on CRC. These encouraging results suggest that the novel second generation vasopressin analog could be used for the management of aggressive CRC as an adjuvant agent during surgery or to complement standard chemotherapy, limiting tumor angiogenesis and metastasis and thus protecting the patient from CRC recurrence.

Belle Collaboration,Miyazaki, Y.,Aihara, H.,Arinstein, K.,Aulchenko, V.,Bakich, A.M.,Balagura, V.,Barberio, E.,Bay, A.,Belous, K.,Bhardwaj, V.,Bischofberger, M.,Bondar, A.,Bozek, A.,Bracko, M.,Browder North-Holland Pub. Co 2011 Physics letters: B Vol.699 No.4
We search for lepton-flavor-violating τ->@?V0 decays, where @? is an electron or muon and V0 is one of the vector mesons ρ0, φ, ω, K@?0 and K@?@?0. We use 854 fb-1 of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. No evidence for a signal is found in any decay mode, and we obtain 90% confidence level upper limits on the individual branching fractions in the range (1.2-8.4)x10-88.
