        황금(黃芩)의 4-VO로 유발한 흰쥐뇌허혈에 대한 신경방어효과

        Scutellariae Radix(SR), the root of Scutellaria baicalensis G_EORGI, whose property, flavour and channel tropism is bitter in flavour, cold in property(寒), acting on the lung, gallbladder, stomach and large intestine channels(歸?,?,?,大??), has the effects of clearing away heat and dampness(淸熱??), purging fire, detoxicating(?火解?), stopping bleeding(止血) and preventing miscarriage(安?). This drug is one of the popular drugs in traditional Korean medicine, which has been used to antipyretic, antibacterial, antitoxic and antihypersensitive effects. So this study was planned to check the neuroprotective effect of SR on the global ischemia induced by 4-vessel occlusion in Wister rats. and SR extract was lyophilized after extraction with 70% methanol. We induced 4-vessel occlusion for 10 minutes and reperfused again. The number of CA1 pyramidal neurons were counted after 7 days of reperfusion under the cresyl violet staining. The result obtained that in 4-VO ischemia, SR showed significantly neuroprotective effects(1,000 and 500 ㎎/㎏ of SR extracts, p<0.05) compared with control group. Each neuroprotective ratio was about 27.4 %, 23.2 % respectively. Consequently, Scutellariae Radix has neuroprotective effects on the global ischemia induced by 4-vessel occlusion in Wistar rats.

        This paper presents the numerical analysis and experimental verification to know the metal cutting buff formation mechanism in face milling operation. Finite element method are applied to predict the 2-D burr formation process prediction. Face milling process are adjusted to analyze the characteristics of burr shapes according to various cutting conditions. The cutting parameters were investigated with cutting speed, feed rate, depth of cut. Through a few experiments, various burr types are classified according to its shape and properties.

      • 大學生의 態度測定에 關한 硏究(I) : 學生, 敎授 및 學校에 對한 態度

        By the technique of Thurstone scale construction procedures, we constructed the attitude scales on the student, the professor, and the college. For compiling simple sentence statements, 252 subjects were participated in the first session. From this process we obtained 150-170 sentences for each attitude topic. The attitude scale values of each statement which were measured on 11-point rating scale were made by 442 college students. Unidimensional attitude scales of 20 statements on each attitude dimension were constructed by the criteria of mean scale value distance, dispersion of the scale value (Q), and the meaning of the statements. According to the meaning of the statements A B equivalent forms and simple 10 statement scales were prepared. Internal consistency of the A B equivalent form was average r of. 85. The split-half reliabilities of the two equivalent forms on the student, the professor, and the college are r of .72, .89, and. 87, respectively. In this study equvalent simple forms were administered to 1,328 students(including SKK students, Chunbug National University students, and Catholic Medical College) and 49 SKK professors. Main findings from this research were as follow: 1) The freshmen rated the students neutrally, the professors and the college positively, respectively. professors, and also positive on the college, respectively. 2) Female freshmen showed more favorable attitudes on all the three topics than those of the male freshmen. 3) Three university students revealed different attitude scale values on all the three topics. 4) It is identified that academic major of the students were interrelated with the attitude on the three topics. But confirming the relationship explicitly we need further study. 5) SKK professors revealed more favorable attitudes on the three topics than those of students.

      • 한약에 의해 유발된 급성 간질성 신염 2례

        간질성 신염은 신장의 간질을 선택적으로 침범하는 염증성 질환으로 여러가지 원인에 의해 유발되며, 이 중 약물에 의한 경우는 각종 항생제, 비스테로이드성 진통제, 항경련제, 이뇨제, 면역억제제등에 의한 증례들이 보고되고 있다. 현재 각종 질환-특히 만성질환-의 치료에서 한약이 차지하는 비중이 적지 않으나, 그 각각의 성분들이 유발할 수 있는 부작용들에 대한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 저자들은 관절염 치료를 위해 중국산 한약을 복용한 후 복통, 피로감 및 육안적 혈뇨를 주소로 내원한 두 환자에서, 단백뇨와 신기능 장애를 보여 시행한 신조직 생검상 급성 간질성 신염에 합당한 병리학적 소견을 보이고, 한약 복용 중지 후 급속한 회복을 보여, 한약에 의해 유발된 것으로 사료되는 급성 간질성 신염 2예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Acute interstitial nephritis is a disease characterized by renal interstitial inflammatory cell infiltration and acute renal functional deterioration. This is caused mainly by antibiotics, NSAID and diuretics such as thiazide, but cases induced by herb medication are rare. We experienced two cases of acute interstitial nephritis after treatment with herb medication. One 71-year-old female patient and the other 60-year-old female were admitted to the hospital because of general weakness and gross hematuria. Microscopic hematuria, pyuria, and proteinuria were presented. After definitive diagnosis with a renal biopsy, we noted rapid recovery of renal function by drug withdrawal and steroid therapy. We report these cases with a review of the referenced literatures. Key Words : Herb medication, Acute Interstitial nephritis.

        한국형 기분장애 질문지의 타당화 연구

        Objectives : This study aims to test the validity of the Korean version of Mood Disorder Questionnaire (K-MDQ), a Screening instrument for bipolar disorder. Methods : A total of 238 subjects (126 DSM-IV bipolar outpatients and 112 controls without psychiatric history) completed the K-MDQ. Results : The Cronbach's alpha, used to measure the internal consistency of the scale, was high (0.88). Principal component analysis with varimax rotation revealed three factors, which explained 59.5% of the variance. Individual item correlations with the total score were all statistically significant (p<0.001). The mean total score of the K-MDQ was 8.48 in bipolar disorder and 4.51 in non-clinical participants. A total K-MDQ score of 7 or more excluding further two questions was chosen as the optimal cutoff, as it provided good sensitivity (0.75) and specificity (0.69). Conclusion : The results of this study showed adequate validity of the K-MDQ, suggesting that this instrument is useful for screening of bipolar disorder.

        The results of the study, centering on sport and leisure facilities in Kyeong-Puk province, are as follows. 1. Because sport and leisure facilities are concentrated upon private profit-making enterprises, the Participants have to bear the expenses and the time. Thus, we need to expand public facilities and to find out efficient opening plans of school facilities. 2. Most participants use sport and leisure facilities 2 times a week in the afternoon. 3. the Participants use vehicles to go to sport and leisure facilities and women much more use vehicles than men. 4. Because of easiness of access, not because of excellent exercise leader or cheapness of rental fee, many participants use the present sport and leisure facilities.

      • Silicagel에 점착한 은 이온의 오존반응에 관한 연구

        AgNO_3(aq) was treated to adsorpt with SiO_2. After drying it, Ag metal was obtained treating with the reducting agent, such as hydrazine, hydroquinone or formaldehyde. Ag metal in reduced product was reacted with O_3 and then oxidized to the AgNO_3. AgNO_3 could be confirmed by change of color on SiO_2 surface using hydrazine as a reducing agent. However, the change of color was not evident using hydroquinone. The above results could also be ascertained from IR spectrum. However, in case that Ag_2O or AgO was produced intentionally and then reacted with O_3 or Ag metal was mixed with IsO_2 and reacted with O_3, the formation of AgNO_3 couldn't be observed. In using a weak reducing agent, Ag was detected in a less amount than input. Using hydrazine as a reducing agent, the extent of degradation of O_3 was considerable. But, when formaldehyde or hydroquinone was used as a reducing agent, the degradation of O_3 was very small. When SiO_2 was only used for the ozone degradation experiment without reducing agent, O_3 was not nearly degraded. When AgNO_3 was adsorpted with SiO_2 without reducing agent, O_3 was degraded in a small amount. It showed that the above all the results were identical irrespective of size and kind of adsorbent.

      • 가막만 패류양식장의 수질 및 저질특성

        This study was performed to characterize the seasonal fluctuation of water quality and sediment environment from April, 2001 to November, 2001 in Gamak bay. Which was a productive area, but recently its fisheries conditional have been deteriorated because of increasing waste-water from municipal area, industry and autochthonous pollution by farm industry. In the survey of seawater quality, DO and COD concentrations were lowest in bottom layer at summer, but DIN and DIP contents were higher than those in surface layer. Eutrophication indices mean that eutrophication area move from south to north entrance via northern-west inner area with seasonal change from summer to autumn. In the survey of sediment environment, ignition loss(IL), chemical oxygen demand(COD), DIN and Dip were in the range of 3.8~15.7%, 10.3~60.6mg/g-dry, 5.053~1.810mg/ℓ and 0.065~0.324mg/ℓ , respectively. COD in sediment were highest at winter and spring. And, they were higher than sediment standard in the south inner area, which mean heavily polluted conditions with organic constituents.

      • 연삭가공에서 절삭유 에어로졸 측정평가에 관한 연구

        This paper presents the experimental results to analyze the characteristics of cutting fluid aerosol generation in grinding process. Machining is a one of the broad manufacturing process to produce the parts, products and various molds and dies. The environmental impact due to aerosol generation via atomization process is a major concern associated with environmental consciousness. Experimental results show that the generated fine aerosol which particle size less than 10 micron appears near worker's breath zone under given operational conditions. The aerosol concentration is much higher enough to affect human health risk with its generated aerosol quantities. This qualitative analysis can be provided the basic knowledge for further research for environmentally conscious machining technology developments.

      • 꾸지뽕나무의 揷木時期, 床土 및 發根劑가 揷木繁殖에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to develop mass propagation techniques by cutting seedling of Cudrania tricuspidata which is a promising species as a medicinal herbs and a health food trees. Rooting and, mortality rates (percentage of dead cutting) and the number of roots were measured by cutting times, using various growth media and the digesting times of growth hormone. 1. Rooting rates by cutting times were higher in March cutting (64.5%) than in July cutting (55.3%). The highest rooting rates were observed in March cutting (68.5%) with the growth media of peatmoss + perlite. The rooting rates by the digesting times of growth hormone were the highest (87.5%) in 30 hours at IBA 100ppm among the treatments. 2. Callus formation from cutting roots was not related to cutting times and digesting time of growth hormone, but related to growth media. 3. Mortality rates was related to cutting time and digesting time at IBA 100ppm. 4. Number of roots were about 16 and not related to cutting times, growth media and the digesting time of growth hormone. In conclusion, the best techniques for cutting propagations of Cudrania tricuspidata were observed in March cutting (rooting rates : 87.5%) in the growth media of peatmoss + perlite with 30 hours digesting times at IBA 100ppm.
