        乳齒列期 兒童의 顎顔面軟組織의 頭部放射線 計測學的 硏究

        This study was made on the facial profile of the normal Korean children using the roentgenographic cephalograms. The subject consisted 51 males and 47 females children of primary dentition with the normal occlusion and acceptable profile. For this study 13 soft tissue profile landmarks were plotted and 14 liner length, 9 soft tissue thickness, 8 vertical height length, 12 angles of soft tissue profile, and 2 vertical proportion were measured. The mean and standard deviations in the subjects were calculated and compared between male and female. The following results were obtained: 1. By the significant test, total facial convexity angle and soft tissue thickness were no significant difference between both sexes. 2. Lower facial height was greater than upper facial height in both sexes. 3. The vertical length of the upper and lower lips were 21.95㎜, 40.74㎜ in male and 21.62㎜, 39.63㎜ in female. 4. In the relationship of the upper lip and lower lip to the Ricketts' esthetic line, the male was 1.3㎜, 1.18㎜ and the female was 1.16㎜, 1.27㎜ front of the esthetic line. 5. Compared with the angulation of flush terminal plane group and mesial step group, the mesial step group was greater than the flush terminal plane group except the chin angle.

      • 동측 대퇴골 경부 및 간부 골절의 치료 : 15례 분석

        동측 대퇴골 경부 및 간부골절은 드문 골절로서 초진시 경부골절을 간과하는 경우도 있고 치료에 있어서도 여러 가지 방법이 제시되어져 왔다. 저자들은 1989년 6월부터 1996년 5월까지 경험한 동측 대퇴골 경부 및 간부골절 환자 15례를 대상으로 다양한 방법으로 치험한 예를 분석하였다. 15례중 8례에서 경부골절과 간부골절을 동시에 고정하는 재건금속정으로 치료하였고 전례에서 골유합을 얻었으며 평균 골유합기간은 경부골절 14주, 간부골절 20.5주였다. Ipsilateral femoral neck and shaft fractures present diagnostic difficulties and complex choices as to treatment. We report the result of treating 15 such fractures. High-energy accidents accounted for most of these injuries. There were numerous associated injuries, many requiring operative procedures. Eight of Fifteen patients were treated with Reconstruction interlocking nails. All fractures united. There was no delay in diagnosis of femoral neck fractures, and all healed without avascular necrosis. The use of the reconstruction nail is technically demanding. We conclude that this device gives good results for these fractures.

      • 비확공성 골수강내 금속정을 이용한 폐쇄성 경골 간부 골절의 치료

        Most of closed fractures of the tibial shaft can be treated successfully with medullary nails. Reamed intramedullary nailing technique has become a good alternative method in treating the close tibial fracture. Unreamed interlocking intramedullary nailing has been employed successfully in the treatment of open tibial fractures. This study was undertaken to evaluate the result of interlocking intramedullary nailing without reaming in the treatment of closed fractures of the tibial shaft. From 1995 through 1998, fifty four cases of the closed, displace tibial fractures were treated by an unreamed intramedullary nailing and the average follow-up period was 1 year and 5 months(ranged from 12 months to 27 months). The results were as follows : 1. Fifty four cases were treated with closed, unreamed nailing technique and the nail which has 1mm smaller diameter than isthmic width of unaffected tibia was choosen. 2. The average time to bony union was achieved at 17 weeks without abundant periosteal b callus formation. 3. Eight tibiae were required the additional procedure such as autogenous bone graft, skin graft or local skin flap. We also have observed the screw breakage of ten tibiae but there were no intraoperative jamming or incarceration and no significant complicaton such as bending or breakage of the nail, shortening or non-union of the fractures. In conclusion, unreamed technique is an attractive method to treat the close, displaced fractures of the tibial shaft. 경골 간부 골절의 치료에 있어서 견고한 내 고정으로 조기 관절운동 및 체중 부하를 통해 골절 유합 및 기능 회복을 도모할 수 있는 골수강내 금속정 고정술이 널리 사용되어지고 있다. 골수강내 금속정술의 장점은 술 후 조기 관절운동과 체중 부하가 가능하여 이환율(morbidity)을 감소시키며 불유합의 발생률이 낮아는 것이다. 경골 간부 골절의 치료에 있어서 비확공성 금속정 고정술은 주로 심한 연부 조직 손상을 동반한 골절 및 개방성 골절의 치료에 적용되어지고 있으며, 대부분의 폐쇄성 경골 간부 골절의 치료로는 골수강 확공 후 골수강을 충만시키는 금속정을 삽입하는 확공정 금속정 고정술이 시행되어지고 있는 경향이다. 저자들은 폐쇄성 경골 간부 골절에 대해서 비확공성 금속정 고정술의 유용성 여부를 알아보기 위해서 동국대학교 의과대학 정형외과학교실에서 치료했던 54례를 평균 1년 5개월 추시하여 골 유합 기간, 합병증의 발생에 대해서 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 비확공성 금속정 고정술시 골 유합 기간은 확공성 금속정 고정술시와 비교하여 유의한 차이가 없음을 알 수 있었으며, 확공을 하지 않음으로써 발생할 수 있는 jamming이나 가는 직경의 금속정을 선택함으로써 우려되는 금속정의 휨, 부러짐 등의 합병증은 발생하지 않았다. 결론적으로 폐쇄성 경골 간부 골절의 치료에 있어서도 비확공성 골수강내 금속정 고정술은 유용한 방법으로 사료된다.

      • 마우스 Sp2/0 세포의 형질전환에 관한 연구

        Transfection, gene transfer into mammalian cells, is used to study gene structure and function. In this study, transfection of Sp2/0 cells using LK4LAC plasmid DNA(containing β-galactosidase gene) with various parameters was investigated. The transformants were identified by the β-galactosidase staning method. Optimal transfection conditions of Sp2/0-Ag14 cells were studied with two methods, calcium phosphate(CaPO_4) precipitation method and liposome method. In calcium phosphate precipitation method, the highest transfection efficiency was obtained when 20㎍ of DNA was transfected for 12hours and incubated for 16hours. In case of liposome method, the optimal. condition was achieved when 25㎍ of lipofectin amount was transfected for 18hrs. The optimal drug concentration of selection with G418 was 400㎍/㎖ in the 20 cells/dish of Sp2/0-Ag14 cell line.

      • 원위 대퇴골의 고립성 골연골종에서 발생한 속발성 연골 육종 1례 보고

        연골육종은 비교적 서서히 자라며 늦게 전이하는 악성 연골 종양으로 알려져 있다. 골 연골종에서 발생한 속발성 연골육종은 발생빈도는 드물며 타부위로의 전이가 적고 악성도가 낮은 경우가 많아 적합한 수술적 치료로서 좋은 예후를 보이는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 본 동국대학교 정형외과학 교실에서는 우측 대퇴골 원위부 골간단부에 생긴 고립성 골 연골종에서 이차적으로 발생한 연골육종을 치험한 바 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. A case of Secondary Chondrosarcoma Arising from Solitary Osteochondroma of the Distal Femur Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, College of Medicine, DongGuk University Phil Hyun Chung M.D., Jung Su Hwang M.D., Suk Kang M.D., Yang Mln Kim M.D., Hyung Ho Oh M.D., Dong Ju Chae M.D., Jong Pil Kim M.D. Chondrpsarcoma is a malignant cartilage-forming tumor that grows slowly and metastasis of this tumor occurs in late stage. Secondary chondrosarcomas arising from a solitary osteocartilaginous exostosis are rare and those have a better prognosis than other chondrosarcomas, and they rarely metastasize. We present our experience with a case of secondary chondrpsarcoma arising in solitary osteochondroma of distal metaphysis of right femur with clinical details.

        감자를 첨가한 기능성 크림수프의 품질 특성

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the quality characteristics of potato added functional cream soup. The highest crude protein (p<.01) and crude lipid (p<.001) were for the potato soup with added potato peel (S₃). The highest pH of 5.95 was for the potato soup with added potato peel (S₄). The highest lightness of 69.46(1, value) was for the potato soup with added potato peel (S₃) (p<.01). The redneess(a value) and yellowness(b value) were increased by the adding of potato peel to the potato soup(p<.01). Viscosity was increased by potato content, and was the highest for the potato soup (S₂) (p<.001). The glycoalkaloid content of the potato soup with added potato peel was 175 mg and 2.20 mg, for Si and S4 respectively. In sensory evaluation. the highest sensory scores for flavor and taste (p<.05) of mean 3.55 and 3.45, respectively, were obtained from the potato soup with added potato peel (S₄). The highest overall acceptability of mean 3.00 was for the potato soup with added potato peel (S₃) (p<.01).

        In this paper, we present a simulator of flash memory and its card which using USB controller named GDS30C6001. GDS30C6001 for system implementation is a interface controller of MMC and SSFCD card which operated with limit speed 12Mbit/s in USB Ver.1.1 and under circumstances windows 95, 98 and Mac Os 8.1. Using this controller, we implemented functional design such as automatic reading, memory block read/write, memory dump and file property of 8M/16M flash memory and 32M SMC. And with this results, we could effectively process the system design and debugging.

        조류와 유기화합물의 동시제거를 위한 흡착 - DAF 복합공정

        Dissolved air flotation (DAF) is an effective solid/liquid separation process for low density floc particles such as algal, color-alum and clay-alum flocs produced from low turbidity water. The removal of taste and odorcausing organics (2-mthylisoboneol and geosmin) originating from algae in drinking water is a local and worldwide concern. Although DAF has been effectively applied for the removal of suspended solid, its application for the treatment of dissolved organic carbon is very limited. In this study, a new hybrid system consisting of adsorption and DAF processes was introduced for the simultaneous removal of algae and taste and odorcausing organics. Powdered activated carbon (PAC) was used as an adsorbent. In this proposed system, the major concern of eliminating the spent PAC from the system was also addressed. It was found that zeta potential of algae and PAC was increased with coagulant dosage, and the removal efficiency in DAF was also enhanced up to 90-95% under the given experimental conditions. Based on this study, the hybrid process was found to be a promising technology for the simultaneous removal of algae and dissolved organic pollutants.
