21세기에 접어들면서 본격적인 정보화 사회로의 진입이 가속화됨과 동시에 고품질의 전력을 요구하는 고기능 정보화 기기가 대량 보급/운용되고 있는 실정이어서 이를 위한 전력품질향상기기(Custom Power Deivces)의 개발과 보급이 진행되고 있다. 그러나, 국내의 경우 이리한 전력품질향상기기의 최적설계 및 제작에 필요한 성능평가기준이 마련되어 있질 않다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 국내에 보급되는 고기능 정보화기기부하를 고려한 전력품질향상기기의 성능평가기준을 결정하는 방법을 제안한다. In the beginning of the 21st century, Custom Power Devices have been developed and applied to electrical power systems for supplying high quality electricity as the information society is speeded up and many information processing devices are diffused into electrical networks. But in Korea the performance level of the Custom Power Devices has not been established until now, which is necessary to design and make them optimally. This paper proposes a method for determining the performance level of the Custom Power Devices considering the characteristic of the high function information device and electrical power systems.
Clinical Analysis of Acute Radiculopathy after Osteoporotic Lumbar Compression Fracture

Objective : The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between fracture pattern and the development of acute radiculopathy after osteoporotic lumbar compression fracture. Methods : This study included 59 patients who underwent bone cement augmentation for osteoporotic compression fracture below the L2 level, which can lead to radiculopathic radiating pain. The patients were divided into two groups according to the presence of radiculopathy (group A : back pain only; group B : back pain with newly developed radiating pain). We categorized compression fractures into three types by the position of the fracture line. The incidence of newly developed radiculopathy was examined retrospectively for each compression fracture type. Results : The overall incidence of newly developed leg pain (group B) was 25%, and the frequency increased with descending spinal levels (L2 : 0%, L3 : 22%, L4 : 43%, and L5 : 63%). The back pain-only group (group A) had mostly superior-type fractures. On the other hand, the back pain with radiculopathy group (group B) had mostly inferior-type fractures. Most patients in group B showed significant relief of leg pain as well as back pain after bone cement augmentation. Conclusion : The incidence of a newly developed, radiating pain after osteoporotic compression fractures increased gradually from the L3 to L5 levels. Most of these fractures were of the inferior type, and the bone cement augmentation procedures seemed to be sufficient for relief of both back and radiating pain.
CLOSE/WIDE DEGENERACY IN CENTRAL PERTURBATIONS OF PLANETARY LENSING

We investigate the degeneracy in the pattern of central microlensing perturbations of a pair of planetary systems where the planets are located from the primary with projected separations in units of the Einstein radius s and $s^{-1}$, respectively. From this, we confirm the fact that although alike, the patterns of central perturbations induced by a close (s < 1) planet and a wide (s > 1) planet are not identical and the degree of difference depends on the planet/primary mass ratio and the planet-primary separation. We find that the difference can be greater than 5% for planetary systems with lensing parameters located in the parameter space of (1/1.8 < |s| < 1.8, q > $5{\times}10^{-3}$), (1/1.3 < |s| < 1.3, q > $1{\times}10^{-3}$), and (1/1.2 < |s| < 1.2, q > $5{\times}10^{-4}$), where q represents the planet/primary mass ratio. Although this range occupies a small fraction of the entire parameter space of planetary systems, we predict that the chance of resolving the close/wide degeneracy would not be meager considering that the planet detection efficiency is higher for planets with resonant separations (s $\sim$ 1) and heavier masses. We also find that the differences between the perturbation patterns are basically caused by the effect of the planetary caustic. This explains the tendency of the perturbation difference where (1) the difference increases as the planet/primary mass ratio increases and the separation approaches the Einstein radius, (2) the region of major difference is confined within the region around the line connecting the central and the planetary caustics, and (3) a wide (close) planetary system has a more extended central perturbation region toward the (opposite) direction of the planet.
Investigations into the immunomodulatory activity of Ulmus davidiana Planch extracts

Objective: Although the effect of Ulmus davidiana Planch (UD) extracts on collagen-induced-arthritis (CIA) and bone metabolism has been studies, research on its effect on human immunomodulatory activity is further a due. The objective of the present study was to investigate the immunomodulatory activity of UD on cellular and humoral immunity. Methods : Oral administration of the ethanolic and water extracts of UD, at doses of 20, 100 and 200 mg/kg in mice, dose dependently potentiated the delayed type hypersensitivity reaction induced both by sheep red blood cells (SRBC) and oxazolone. Results : It significantly enhanced the production of circulating antibody titre in response to SRBC in mice. Extracts of UD failed to show any effect on macrophage phagocytosis. Chronic administration of UD extracts significantly ameliorated the total white blood cell count and also restored the myelosuppressive effects induced by cyclophosphamide. Conclusion : The present investigation reveals that UD extracts possesses immunomodulatory activity.
사이버 문제행동에 관한 문헌 연구 - 개념적 정의를 중심으로 -

오늘날 사이버 공간에서의 활동이 증가하면서, 사이버 상에서 타인에게 피해를 주는 여러 사이버 문제행동에 대한 관심 역시 높아지고 있다. 이에 따라, 사이버 문제행동과 관련된 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있으나, 사이버 문제행동을 지칭하는 수많은 용어들이 통일된 정의 없이 혼재되어 사용되고 있다. 이에 따라 사이버 문제행동과 관련된 용어들의 정의를 비교·분석하기 위해 우선적으로, 선행 문헌 연구를 선별하는 중요한 기준으로 ‘사이버 상에서’ 이루어지는 ‘타인에게 해를 끼치는’ 행동에 제한을 두고 용어를 선정하였다. 선행연구 검토 결과, 사이버 문제행동을 지칭하는 10개의 용어, 사이버(디지털)-범죄, 성범죄, 인권침해, 폭력, 불링, 언어폭력, 명예훼손, 성폭력, 일탈(행동), 비행의 개념적 정의를 제시하였다. 또한 기존 연구에서 가장 혼재된 채 사용되고 있는 3종류의 유사 용어, 즉 사이버 폭력과 사이버 범죄와 사이버 인권침해, 사이버 폭력과 사이버 불링, 사이버 일탈(행동)과 사이버 비행의 각각의 차이도 비교·분석하였다. 마지막으로, 각 용어의 개념적 정의를 비교·분석함에 따라 본 연구가 갖는 의의와 한계점을 논의하였다. As interpersonal interactions in cyberspace have increased, concerns about various cyber-related behavior problems also have upsurged. Research on problem behavior in cyberspace is being actively conducted, but little consensus on the definitions of the terms has been achieved. For the purpose of the study, the studies in mental health area were included for review. In addition, only conceptual definitions that describe harmful behaviors to others were marked for examination. Ten terms of cyber-related behavior problems were selected and reviewed: cyber(digital)-crime, sex crime, infringement of human rights, violence, bullying, verbal violence, defamation, sexual violence, deviance, and delinquency. Especially we analyzed and compared 10 confused words into 3 categories(cyber violence, cyber crime and infringement of human rights; cyber violence and cyber bullying; cyber deviance and cyber delinquency). In conclusion, implications and limitations of this study were discussed in light of clarifying the definitions which describe cyber-related problematic behaviors.
