In software industry, coexist the software crisis occurring continuously with methodologies and tools for overcoming it. Since 1980's, software reuse and object-orientation have been hot issues in software engineering. Object-oriented methodology can meet user's need concentrating on convenience of development process. By dealing with software product at the component level and by focusing on arbitrarily abstract description of component, software reuse allows user to deal with minute detail. Also, by dealing with software design at the architecture level, it supplies the automation principle of what must be taken in construction process. By hand, in distributed object environment, we can produce the economical software by accessing the data from different and various repository and sharing the data with different user because it support to development the client/server program and integrate existing systems in heterogeneous environment. We implemented the MT-views to utilize the reuse effects as reuse prototyping system or supporting including retrieval, understanding and rebuilding tools based on source code, documentation and etc., using CORBA on distributed object environment.

<P>Most of the corrosive degradations in steam generator tubes of nuclear power plants are closely related to the residual stress existing in the local region of a geometric change, that is, an expansion transition, u-bend, ding, dent, bulge, etc. Therefore, accurate information on a geometric anomaly in a tube is a prerequisite to the activity of a non destructive inspection for a precise and earlier detection of a defect in order to prevent a failure during an operation, and also for a root cause analysis of a failure. In this paper, a newly developed eddy current technique of a three-dimensional profilometry is introduced and the proof for the applicability of the technique to a plant inspection is provided. The quantitative profile measurement using a new eddy current probe was performed on steam generator expansion mock-up tubes with various geometric anomalies typically observed in the operating power plants, and the accuracy of the measured data was compared with those from the laser profilometry.</P>

최근 재사용 요소로서 설계 패턴의 가치는 더욱 높이 평가되어지고 있다. 기존의 재사용 시스템들은 원시 코드 수준에서 구현 클래스에 중점을 두어왔기 때문에 적용할 부분을 정확히 찾을 수가 없었을 뿐더러 그 범위 또한 제한적이였다. 그러나 설계 패턴을 재사용 함으로써 숙련된 이전 개발자의 경험을 비롯한 설계 당시의 의도와 같은 보다 추상화되어진 설계 수준의 정보를 공유, 통신할 수 있어 유사 시스템 구축시 크게 도움을 받을 수 있게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 인터넷 상에서 다수의 사용자들이 자신의 응용에 적절한 설계 패턴을 재사용할 수 있도록 하는 재사용 시스템 개발을 목표로 하여 설계 패턴 라이브러리 구축과 이를 활용할 수 있는 검색과 이해 그리고 편집의 기능을 갖는 통합된 재사용 시스템을 개발한다. 라이브러리 구축시 재상용성의 확대를 위해 자신의 응용에 특화되어진 사용자 패턴 라이브러리를 도메인 정보를 포함하는 패턴 사용 경험 지식을 사용하여 구축한다.

Multi-blade fan has large applications to industry and home appliance products. The application field becomes larger and larger as the industry is going on developing. Specially, the use of the blower is possible for the case of air purifiers with high inlet resistance for filtering process. The performance of a whole air conditioning system depends on the efficiency of individual part used in that system. In this investigation, we studied the effect of parameters of impeller which has to be considered in design step for optimal operation. The flow characteristics in Automobile of the multi-blade fan are investigated by PIV.

The generation of electric power and plant facilities have been attempting to improve energy efficiency with many efforts as those being basis of our country's economy. In particular, the CHP(Combined Heat Power plant) system, is producing the electricity and process steam, has generally been using for the cogeneration plants. When CHP system operates, the steam has to maintain the high temperature and high pressure in order to have high efficiency of electric power production as much as possible. In addition, the exhausted steam from the turbine has to reform proper temperature to use the needed process. The major purpose of desuperheater is that the superheated steam changes into the saturated steam because it is more efficient and suitable for using the process, furthermore, it is more convenient and stable regarding the process temperature control. The design of the desuperheater obtained through the experiment and preceding analysis. This paper is verified by analysis that water spray nozzle(Φ=28㎜) shows the best ability under the real power plant condition.
유한선단반경을 갖는 원뿔형 압입자에 의한 영률평가 수치접근법

본 연구에서는 원뿔형 압입자를 이용한 압입시험의 기초 유한요소해석으로부터 자기유사성을 나타내는 Kick's law 계수 C의 영향을 조사하고, 선단반경의 변화가 하중-변위 곡선에 미치는 영향을 회귀분석을 통해 살펴보았다. 아울러 항복강도와 변형경화지수 등의 변수들이 재료 영률평가에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 기존 영률 평가에 널리 사용되는 탄성이론에 기초한 Pharr 등의식을 일반적인 탄소성 금속재료에 적용하기 위하여 다양한 재료에 대한 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 재료 영률평가 시 압입자 선단반경과 압입깊이의 영향을 최소화하기 위해 Pharr 등의 식에 수정된 보정계수 κ를 도입한 영률예측식을 제시하였다. 새로운 영률예측식은 텅스텐 카바이드와 다이아몬드 압입자일 때 모두 2%내의 평균 오차범위에서 각 재료의 영률을 평가할 수 있다. Instrumented sharp indentation test is a well-directed method to measure hardness and elastic modulus. The sharp indenter such as Berkovich and conical indenters have a geometrical self-similarity in theory, but the self-similarity ceases to work in practice due to inevitable indenter tip-blunting. In this study we analyzed the load-depth curves of conical indenter with finite tip-radius via finite element method. Using the numerical regression data obtained from Kick’s law, we first confirmed that loading curvature is significantly affected by tip radius as well as material properties. We then established a new method to evaluate Young’s modulus, which successfully provides the value of elastic modulus with an average error of less than 2%, regardless of tip-radius and material properties of both indenter and specimen.
INFLUENCE OF SIGNAL-TO-NOISE RATIO ON EDDY CURRENT SIGNALS OF CRACKS IN STEAM GENERATOR TUBES

This work presents the influence of noise originating from the tube itself on the detectability and sizing accuracy for laboratory-induced outer diameter axial cracks in nuclear steam generator tubes. The variations of signal amplitude and phase angle of the same cracks were analyzed when increasing the signal-to-noise ratio of the tube itself from 9 to 18. It was experimentally verified that the detectability for small cracks was enhanced by increasing the signal-to-noise ratio. The phase angle also rotated to a value representing the actual position and depth of a crack when increasing the signal-to-noise ratio.
한국미기록종 흰매( Falco rusticolus)의 첫 관찰

2010년 3월 20일 경상북도 상주시 낙동강 일대(E128° 14′ 25.6″, N36° 25′ 05.0″)에서 한국 미기록종인 흰매(Falco rusticolus) 1개체를 관찰하여 보고한다. 이는 국내 첫 관찰기록에 해당한다. 흰매는 유라시아와 북아메리카의 툰드라지역에서 서식하는 종으로 시베리아 북부와 그린란드 해변을 중심으로 번식한다. 관찰된 개체는 몸집의 크기, 색 등을 고려할 때 금번 관찰된 종은 F. r. candicans로 판단된다. On 20 March 2010, One Gyrfalcon (Falco rusticolus) was observed at Nakdong river, Sangju city, Gyeongsangbukdo province (E128° 14′ 25.6″ N36° 25′ 05.0″), and this is the first record of this species for the Korean peninsula. The Gyrfalcon has distributed Eurasia and tundra of North America and bred around North Siberia and coast of Greenland. The Gyrfalcon observed on this time is considered possibly the F. r. candicans based on body size and colour.
