자기저항센서를 제작하기 위하여 Mo-permalloy(Ni:79.43%, Fe:14.47%, Mo:5.7%, Mn:0.38%, C:0.013%)를 슬라이드 그라스에 진공증착하여 sensor element를 제작한 후 포화자속밀도(B_(s)), 보자력(H_(c)), 자기이방성상수(K//), 자기저항변화율(ΔR/R)을 조사하였다. 진공증착된 permalloy 박막의 포화자속밀도는 0.746T 이었으며, 자화주파수 1kHz에서 보자력은 2.90A/cm(//),1.98A/cm(⊥) 이었고, 열처리 후에 1.79A/cm(//). 1.37A/cm(⊥)로 감소되었다. 한편 이 소자의 자기이방성상수는 1.38X10^(4)erg/cm^(3) 이었으며 5x1^(0-3)T의 자장변화에 대만 저항변화율(ΔR/R)은 2.0% 이었다. 앞으로 이 소자의 온도특성, 잡음특성 및 내열성 등을 조사하고자 한다. To fabricate magnetoresistive sensor, Mo-permalloy(Ni:79.43%, Fe:14.47%, Mo:5.7%, Mn:0.38%, C:0.013%) was evaporated on the slide glass. Saturation magnetic induction(B_(s)), coercive field strength(H_(a)), magnetic anisotropy constant(K), and magnetoresistance were measured for the fabricated samples. The evaporated samples show that saturation magnetic induction was 0.746T, and coercive field strengthes were 2,90A/cm(//) and 1.98A/cm(⊥), and this values were reduced to 1.79A/cm(//) and 1.37A/cm(⊥) respectively after annealing. For the measurement of coercive field strength, magnetizing frequency of 1kHz was used. For the fabricated sensor element, magnetic anisotropic constant was 1.38X10^(4)erg/cm^(3) and magneto-resistance change(ΔR/R) was 2.0% under the magnetic field change of 5X10^(-3)T, We will continue study on the characteristics for the temperature, heat resistance, and noise.

This study was undertaken to present the cultural tourism merchandising for homestay. For the first time, it gives a redefinition of the word 'the homestay and forms a concept of the homestay product. In the cultural aspect, benchmarking is used to highlight critical success factors and develops systems to improve attainment of them which will fit the specific operation. The study also develops a useful process of cultural tourism merchandise for homestay. Totally, these valuable methods like benchmarking and conceptualizing are available for the homestay merchandising. The benchmarking of korean homestays involve comparison with American and Japanes homestays. The homestay successful factor, 'theme' results from this comparison. So the concept of 'Jeasekbulllie' and 'guesthouse' developed in this study is basically 'Sarangbang'. Son Dae-hyun(1998) suggests that the typical korean homestay originate from 'the Sarangbang' in the time of 'Chosun'. Divided into tangible and intangible part of 'the Sarangbang', 'Jeasekbullie' and 'guesthouse' are applied to two part, respectively. In detail, the theme of 'Jeasekbullie' is 'the traditional building constructed by a famous architect' and that of 'guesthouse' is 'the personal interaction and private atmosphere'.

Since a submerged breakwater (SBW) was built and the beach was nourished at Anmok in the east coast of Republic of Korea at October, 2014, the shoreline in the lee of the SBW has accreted about 25 m during the first seven months after construction. The shoreline evolution showed two distinct patterns which were studied in this paper. A strong local accretion behind the submerged breakwater was observed in March 2015 and a smoother shoreline with accretion that extended up to Gangneung Harbor breakwater in May 2015. The UNIBEST coastline model (developed at Delft Hydraulics) was applied for the investigation of the observed shoreline undulation patterns which were generated by alongshore sediment transport gradients that were induced by the SBW and nourishment. Nearshore wave conditions were computed for this purpose at nine locations in the nearshore with the Delft3D-wave model. Two detailed wave scenarios with different crest height of the SBW were taken into account to represent the transmission of waves at the SBW which were validated with field measurements. The coastline model is able to reproduce the observed shoreline evolution patterns when wave transmission at the SBW is represented well, which is the case for a wave scenario with a lowered effective crest level of the SBW. Initially, accretion takes place predominantly at the northern side of the scheme, which was similar to the observed shoreline shape of the March 2015 situation. This local accretion is a result of the low sediment transport capacity behind the SBW due to sheltering of the wave energy, which initially hinders the redistribution of sediment to the South (i.e. area in-between Gangneung Harbor and SBW). After some months, a redistribution of sediment will take place behind the SBW which results in a smoother shoreline pattern which is similar to the May 2015 situation. The rate of change of the shoreline accretion is controlled by the absolute transport rates at the coast (i.e. wave energy), but is often of lesser importance since an adjustment towards a new shoreline equilibrium may take place within relatively short time scales (i.e. months to a few years). In addition to the wave energy, it was found that the relative angle of the incoming waves (α) is most relevant for the final shoreline shape. The shoreline evolution at future SWB structures may therefore be predicted by precisely estimating the α directly after construction of the SBW.

The protein encoded by SLC27A2 gene is an isozyme of long-chain fatty-acid-coenzyme A ligase family, and it converts free long-chain fatty acids into fatty acyl-CoA esters, and thereby plays a key role in lipid biosynthesis and fatty acid degradation. In the present study, SLC27A2 located on human chromosome 15 was selected as candidate gene and we isolated and cloned partial fragments of mRNA sequence and genomic fragments of porcine SLC27A2 gene. The coding region of the gene as determined by alignments shared 90% and 82% identity with human and mouse cDNAs, respectively. Detection in LargeWhite and Meishan breeds showed that a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) ($A{\rightarrow}G$) existed in exon 7, which caused corresponding amino acid changed for encoding. In LargeWhite pigs it encoded for Val while in Meishan pigs it encoded for Ile, so we developed the PCR-RFLP genotype method for detection of this polymorphism. Association study in 135 $F_2$ reference family indicated that significant correlation existed between the polymorphism and growth and carcass traits.

<P>A redispersible dry emulsion (DE) formulation of atorvastatin calcium (AC) was developed to enhance the in vitro dissolution of AC, thereby increasing its gastrointestinal absorption. The spray-drying technology was used where Plurol Oleique CC 497 was chosen as the oil phase. Effects of carriers, surfactants, and homogenizers on the characteristics of DE containing AC were systematically investigated. The final formulation consisted of dextrin and Poloxamer 188 as carrier and surfactant, respectively, and was homogenized by a high pressure homogenizer before spray drying. The in vitro release of AC from the optimized DE was significantly higher than that of pure AC powder (76% vs. 30% at 24 hr). The in vitro intestinal absorption of AC from the DE formulation was 0.77 microg/cm(2) at 2 hr, which was a 2.33-fold increase compared to the pure unformulated AC powder. These results suggest that the oral dry emulsion formulation could improve the intestinal absorption of AC.</P>
Differentially Rice Protein Expression Between Rice Bran and Endosperm

Rice (Oryza sativa L.), the major staple food for more than 60% of the world’s population, offer nutritional and health-enhancing properties. Therefore, breeding of new rice species has been fueled by the rising interest in Asian, Latin cuisines, and many countries. In Asia, rice and rice-based ingredients also appeal to both consumers and processors due to their unique combination of taste, nutrition, texture, and biological properties. Proteins and starch in rice are the two major components in rice seed, with approximately 8 and 80%, respectively. Especially in traditional Asian diet, rice seed contributes to about 28-54% of the protein source. The major rice proteins, including structural, metabolic, protective, and storage proteins, serve as sources of nitrogen, sulfur, and carbon for several important physiological functions. In our previous study also demonstrated that rice protein prolamin activated human mononuclear cells to produce cytokines and enhance anti-leukemic immunity. The present study aimed to compare the differentially expression of rice proteins with bran and endosperm by 2-dimentional electrophoresis (2-DE) and mass spectrometric assay. Several protein spots in 2-DE gel with different expression were isolated and identified. The results showed that the major proteins were metabolic, transporter, storage, antioxidant, disease resistant, and development-related proteins. Further investigation to clarify the different manifestations and functions of these proteins might contribute to development of new rice varieties and breeding with unique features.
