‘포스트모더니즘을 넘어서(Beyond Postmodernism)’ 공연예술연구 -마리나 아브라모비치의 2000년도 이후의 공연분석을 중심으로-
정다은 ( Chung¸ Da-eun ) 한국드라마학회 2021 드라마연구 Vol.- No.65
Abramović is a leading performance artist who presented avant-garde art in the 1960s and 1980s. Postmodernism's movement to dismantle the great narrative was especially active at that time, and Abramović’s art reflected the cultural phenomena of such an era. At that time, her artwork was provocative, shocking, and even repulsive to the audience. However, a distinct change is found in Abramović's works in the 21st century. Abramović’s art in the 21st century has been transformed into art that values empathy through communication with audiences, rather than provocative art that shocks audiences, which characterized her past works. In this study, Abramović’s performance in the 21st century is classified and analyzed in three parts as follows: 1) the art of participation, empathy and healing, 2) the art of life and death, and 3) the art of leaving one's legacy for the next generation. By researching the changing aspects of Abramović's art in the 21st century, it will become possible to suggest ways to solve the problem of postmodern art, which has lost its direction through "deconstruction without alternatives." It is evident that there is a shift in performing arts that is occurring beyond the postmodernism era, a shift which shows the possibility of a recovery of reciprocity, faith and love.

This study was conducted with culture and art as the content subject, and it was designed so that students could experience various types of metaverse technology and mixed reality to increase their participation in learning and the learning effect. It also introduces effective online learning tools that can be used in metaverse-based English learning programs. Method: Students improve their English skills by examining museums with Google Earth and Art&Culture and exploring exhibits and materials related to Korean cultural assets there, exploring Korean cultural assets and art galleries using VR and AR, and collecting related cultural and artistic materials. . In addition, through the process of creating and presenting materials based on the metaverse, interaction was promoted, so that the understand-ing of each country's culture and arts and English ability could be improved together. Results: The English learning program presented in this study consists of various tasks such as experiencing culture and art contents through AR and VR, collecting cultural and art-related materials, and producing presen-tation materials. Roughly speaking, in the introduction part, learning objectives and key expressions are intro-duced by using the functions of the metaverse platform ZEP and the online learning tool 'edpuzzle', and motiva-tion is induced through videos. In the development stage, AR and VR-based apps such as ZEP, Google Earth, Art & Culture, etc. are used to visit museums in Korea or British and American countries, research related culture and art, and collect data. Then, by specifying the topic for each group, use ZEP, Google Earth, etc. to produce mate-rials that can be presented. After that, practical presentations using ZEP and feedback (instructors and colleagues) are provided. In the final organizing stage, there may be quiz solving using QuizN and sharing opinions about the class through online learning tools such as Jamboard and Padlet. Conclusion: In this program, ZEP, a metaverse platform capable of interactive communication such as various avatars, virtual theme spaces, images, and PDFs, was used to enable task execution and practical interaction. In addition, by using various online learning tools in a new environment and context, students will be able to develop self-directed learning skills, problem-solving skills, and digital literacy skills. Through this metaverse-based Eng-lish learning program, learners will be able to experience various forms of cultural arts and realistic content, and furthermore, they will be able to participate in convergence cultural thinking expansion and future-oriented clas-ses.

Sarcoidosis is a systemic disease of unknown cause that involves multiple organs and is characterized by non-caseating granuloma. Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune disease characterized by increased peripheral platelet destruction due to the presence of an antibody to the platelet and abnormal platelet production. There is no known pathogenesis that occur concurrently ITP and sarcoidosis. But considering together of two known pathogenesis, abnormal immune response trigger either ITP or sarcoidosis. And the disease which is developed earlier stimulates secondary disease. After secondary disease developed, they are stimulates each other. A few cases of ITP associated with sarcoidosis are documented, but the disease has rarely been reported in Korea. Here, we report a case of ITP with sarcoidosis in 29-year-old man. He suffered from easy bruising. The chest X-ray and the contrast-enhanced computed tomography revealed bihilar lymphadenopathy and reticulonodular infiltrates. Bone marrow study and fiuoroscopy-guided percutaneous needle biopsy was done and diagnosed with ITP and sarcoidosis. The patient was put on 400mg/kg of intravenous immunoglobulin for five days and after 4th day of the administration, uveitis is confirmed and then put on 20mg of prednisolone. Since platelets was restored to 200,000/uL, he was discharged with 20mg of prednisolone. During 7 months after discharge, prednisolone was slowly reduced to 7.5mg/2days but platelet count was decreased to 19,000/uL. It is difficult to reduce steroid, immunosuppressive agents which are azathioprine and methotrexate are administrated for additional 4 months. Follow-up 14 months, platelet count was 62,000/uL and lung infiltrates and lymphadenopathy was improved in chest X-ray. It has been good response without significant bleeding event. But it needed more administration of oral steroid, additional immunosuppressive agents and more duration of follow-up than single disease whether sarcoidosis or ITP.

Fibronectin (FN) plays important roles in the EMT in a variety of cancer cell types. However, the mechanism by which FN expression is regulated in tamoxifen-resistant (TamR) breast cancer cells has not yet been fully elucidated. Aberrant FN expression was associated with poor prognosis in patients with luminal type A breast cancer. In addition, FN was upregulated in TamR cells. To investigate the mechanism by which FN expression is regulated, we assessed the levels of phosphorylated Akt, JNK, and STAT3 and found that they were all increased in TamR cells. Induction of FN expression was dampened by LY294002 or AKT IV in TamR cells. Furthermore, FN expression was increased by constitutively active (CA)-Akt overexpression in tamoxifen-sensitive MCF7 (TamS) cells and colony formation of TamR cells was blocked by AKT IV treatment. Taken together, these results demonstrate that FN expression is upregulated through the PI-3K/Akt pathway in tamoxifen-resistant breast cancer cells. [BMB Reports 2017; 50(12): 615-620]

Bacterial surface display system has been adopted in various biotechnological applications. In the case of Bacillus subtilis, most of the studies have been developed using spore based surface display system utilizing the inherent rigidity of spore against heat, alkali, and shear stress. But, spore harvest, purification and separation need additional cost and labor. To eliminate this procedure and to use the gram-positive nature of B. subtilis, YuaB, which is one of the major B. subtilis biofilm components and locates in the cell wall, based cell surface display system, is developed. P43 promoter driven overexpression of YuaB-His6 tag does not hamper bacterial cell growth and promoted biofilm formation of recombinant strain. Flow cytometry of recombinant strain and its protoplast using FITC-Anti His6 antibody, verified that YuaB locate in plasma membrane and protrude to the outside of cell wall, which means YuaB can be used as very efficient anchoring motif. Using surface expressed YuaB-His6 tag, removal of divalent metal ion, Cu2+ and Ni2+, was tried to test its possibility for the environmental application of developed system.
