치아종을 동반한 석회화 치성낭의 치험례 : CASE REPORT

석회화 치성낭은 비교적 드문 낭으로 하나의 독립된 유형의 치성 병소로 인정받고 있지만, 조직학적 소견이 다양하고 분류체계도 학자들마다 다르다. 석회화 치성낭의 이장상피는 중층편평상피로 되어 있으며, 상피층 내에 특징 세포인 유령세포가 출현한다. 유령세포들은 인접한 결합조직에 치성조직을 유도할 수 있는 능력을 가지고 있어 법랑모세포종, 법랑모세포 치아종, 법랑모세포 섬유치아종, 치아종 등의 치성종양이 합병되어 발생하기도 한다. 외과적 제거 후 재발율은 적지만 치성종양이 병발될 경우가 있기 때문에 반드시 조직병리학적 검사를 수행하여야 한다. 7세 남아가 상악 좌측 중절치의 미맹출을 주소로 원광대학교 치과병원 소아치과에 내원하였다. 방사선 사진에서 맹출되지 않은 상악 좌측 중절치 및 측절치 치관 상방에 방사선 불투과성 물질이 보였다. 초기 임상적 방사선학적 검사 결과 치아종으로 진단하였으며, 외과적 적출 및 생검을 시행하였다. 적출물은 불규칙적인 석회화 물질로 구성된 복잡 치아종 양상을 보였으며 상피조직으로 싸여 있었다. 조직병리학적 검사 결과, 이장상피에서 유령세포의 군집이 관찰되었고, 석회화 조직은 법랑질, 상아질 형태의 조식들이 혼합된 양상을 보여, 복잡 치아종을 동반한 석회화 치성낭으로 진단하였다. 본 증례에서와 같이 매복치 상방의 치아종 양상의 병소가 관찰 되었을 때 석회화 치성낭의 가능성을 염두에 두어야 할 필요가 있다. Calcifying odontogenic cyst(COC) is a rare developmental odontogenic cyst, which shows diverse classification and terminology. Cystic epithelial lining of COC is composed of basal cell layer of columnar cells and overlying layer of stellate reticulum. In the epithelium, ghost cells that might induce adjacent mesenchymal tissue to develop dental organ are shown characteristically. In spite of low rate of recurrence, we have to get a histopathological examination so that odontogenic lesions may recur without fully curettage of lining epithelium. 7-year-old male child came pediatric dentistry in wonkwang university dental hospital in order to check the delayed eruption of left maxillary central incisor. Radiographic examination revealed a well-defined radiopaque mass, overlapping impacted left central and lateral incisor crown. Enucleated mass was tooth-like features and also had epithelium lining. Results of histopathologic procedure, we saw the lots of ghost cell and proliferating hard dental tissues. Also we saw the cystic epithelium cells. It revealed diagnosis of the COC associated complex odontoma. For this reason one should consider of COC when patients present odontoma-like lesion with impacted tooth.

Liminality is a cultural and philosophical concept often used in contemporary discourse on art and spatial experience. Nevertheless, there is minimal recognition of philosophies of liminality within architectural discourse. The purpose of this paper, therefore, is examine liminality's meaning and connecting philosophies of liminality to theories(especially, vary Post- theories) and practices within contemporary architecture and art(especially, Installation Art). To explore architecture using a praxis(refer to the theory-practice nexus) of liminality requires a re-conceptualization of architecture from building object to person-environment relations.

색소실조증(Incontinentia pigmenti)은 신생아기에 체간과 사지에 소수포가 발생하여 1세경이 되면 수포는 더 이상 생기지 않고 갈색반점이 나타나는 특징을 보이는 아주 드문 질환이다. Bloch-Sulzberger syndrome이라고 불리는 이 질환은 반성 우성 유전질환으로 대부분 여성에게 나타나며, 외배엽, 중배엽 기원 조직들인 눈, 치아, 피부, 손톱, 가슴, 머리카락, 신경계 등에 이상을 동반한다. 본 증례는 유치의 선천적 결손을 주소로 내원한 환아의 문진 중 색소실조증의 사실을 발견하고 검사한 결과, 다수의 유치와 영구치의 선천적 결손과 치아의 형태이상, 상악의 열성장, 치아의 형태이상과 악골 성장의 부조화 등으로 인한 교합불안정을 보이고 있었다. 전신적으로는 망막이상을 보여 수술을 시행한 상태이며, 피부에는 특징적인 갈색반점을 보였다. 현재 치아결손부의 공간관리와 심미적, 심리적인 문제의 해결, 그리고 기능의 회복을 위해 가철식 부분의치를 장착해주었으며 계속적인 관찰을 하고 있다. Incontinentia pigmenti(IP), so called Bloch-Sulzberger syndrome is a rare genodermatosis that occurs almost in female infant; usually lethal in males, X-linked dominantly inherited disorder. IP is characterized by abnormalities of mesodermal and ectodermal tissues including eye, tooth, skin, nail, breast and hair as well as neurological deficiencies. Dental problems are congenital missing of teeth, delayed eruption. abnormal crown shape and so on. Here is a case of 6 year-old female with IP. She had congenital missing of primary and permanent teeth, delayed eruption. maxillary deficiency and extra cusps, resulting in unstable occlusion. Systemically, she had a history of operating eyes due to problem of retina and hyperpigmented macules on her trunk and extremities as typical character of IP.

Intake Flow Observation with Gaseous LPG Injection in a Si Engine

In order to lower emissions and enhance vehicle performance such as cold start and acceleration[1], LPG MPI (multi point injection) technology in SI engines has been developed and applied recently compared to the conventional mixer type LPG supply system. A gaseous LPG injection system has an edge over the liquefied injection system in terms of durability and cost reduction. However, intake flow with fuel injection needs to be further investigated to understand the volumetric efficiency of the gaseous system, which has been expected to be inferior to that of liquefied injection system. The observation of intake flow with fuel injection and measurements of volumetric efficiency were carried out to investigate the performance of gaseous LPG injection system in this work. Also, an analysis of flow motion was performed to better understand the both injection systems. This work concludes that a gaseous LPG injection system indicates the comparable volumetric efficiency to the liquefied injection system, and as for the next generation fuel supply system a gaseous LPG MPI system is very competitive.

Phase transition and non-integranle phase of CP^N-1model on non-trivial topologies

The CP^N-1 model is studied on R^1×S^1 and S^1×S^1 topology. The Wilson line integrals along non-contractible loop of the gauge field could take non-integrable phase factor for any N in general dimensions and the model undergoes first-order phase transition on such topologies. The renormalization invariant critical conditions are analytically found in large-N approximation, in addition to the results on thermodynamics of the model.

Four-fermion interaction model on R_^2×S^1 : A dynamical dimensional reduction

A four-fermion interaction model is studied on R^2×S^1 spacetime. The fermion is supposed to acquire a phase e^i2πδ(0≤δ<1) along a circulation of the circle S^1 whose circumference is L. We evaluate the effective potential to the leading order of the 1/N expansion. It is shown that for 1/6<δ<5/6 there is a critical circumference L_c which is analytically found. The chiral symmetry breaking occurs only for L<L_c. The lowest vacuum energy density (the minimum of effective potential) for δ and L is shown at δ=0 and L→0, which may be a kind of dynamical dimensional reduction. Free-field representations of Z_N symmetric conformal quantum algebras from SU(N)Toda field theories

It is shown that the free field representations of Z_N-symmetric conformal quantum algebras of Fateev, Zamolodchikov and Lykyanov can be obtiained based on the field realizations of the algcbras given by Bilal and Gervais from their study of classical SU(N) Toda field theory through the one parameter dependent linear transformation, where this parameter determines the central charge.
