      • [논문]Operational Characteristics of CO2 Laser Adopted by Superposing-Discharge

        오늘날 현저한 CO2 레이저의 응용 추세에 발맞추어 보다 다양한 형태의 출력 제어 기술이 대두되고 있다. 본연구에서는multi-Pulse Superposing-Discharge 기술을 이용하여 다양한형태의 CO2 레이저의 펄스를 성형 하였다. 펄스 성형을 위한 방법으로 PIC one-chip microprocessor를 이용하여 삼중 PFN 모률의 SCR을 각각 고유의 지연시간을 가지도록 제어하였다. 실험에 사용된 삼중 PFN 모률의 전원 회로는 각각 캐패시터 인덕터,SCR,고압 펄스 트랜스 그리고 고압 트랜스 2차측에 브릿지 정류기로 구성 하였다. 고압 펼스 트랜스의 1차측을 제어하므로서 PFN 모률의 동작을 저 전압에서 수행 할 수 있다. 트랜스의 2차측에 연결된 전파 정류기는 펄스 에너지를 부하에 지속적으로 전달한다. 본 연구에서는 삼중 PFN 모률의 각각의 SCR을 다른 시간 가격을 두고 트리거 하므로서 다양한 Long pulse shaping을 실현하였다. 또한 약 250-1000μs 의 주기를 가지는 다양한 펄스형 레이저 빔을 얻었다.

      • 성문에 의한 화자 인식에 관한 연구

        Preliminary experiments of using the LPC parameter for text-independent speaker identification problem are presented. The identification process includes log likelihood ratio for distance measure and dynamic programming for time normalization. To generate the data base for experiments, ten speakers were asked to utter the same sentence ten times. Experimental results show 99.4% of identification accuracy. Incorrect identification were made when the speaker uses a dialect.

      • 정사각튜브의 좌굴영역에 관한 실험적 연구

        An experimental study is presented on the local and overall buckling of the square tubes made of mild steel. A total of 150 square tubes were axially loaded in quasi static loading condition. Three kinds of specimens were chosen according to the discrepancy of thickness to width. Based on th test results, a new domain for distinction of overall and local buckling is suggested on the square tube. It is different from that of the column. A experimental equation of the overall buckling is suggested.

      • TMS DSP 칩을 이용한 음성 특징 벡터 추출기 설계

        In this paper, we proposed speech feature vector extractor for embedded system using TMS 320C31 DSP chip. For this extractor, we used algorithm using cepstrum coefficient based on LPC(Linear Predictive Coding) that is reliable algorithm to be is widely used for voice recognition. This system extract the speech feature vector in real time, so is used the mobile system, such as cellular phones, PDA, electronic note, and so on, implemented voice recognition.

      • 모자형 단면부재의 평균 압괴하중

        In this study, the mean crushing load of thin-walled closed hat and tube type medel subjected to axial compression is investigated. The energy method for calculating the mean crushing load was based on the Wierzbicki theory for tube section and the Ohkubo theory for single hatted section. And the experiments was performed for comparing with the theoretical results. Among the most important observations and conclusions one may list the following: 1) In the analysis of corner, it is more reasonable to consider the stretching energy by circumferential stretching effect. 2) The difference of energy equations between the tube and the single hatted type model have something to do with the presence of bending energy for flange zone, that is, the equation of the single hatted type model is equal to the equation that added the bending energy in flange zone to the tube type model. 3) In the case of double hatted section member, the stretching energy of corner met with flange as well as the bending energy of flange must be added. Also crash modes of double hatted section member was more complicated and one need more investigation about these.

        In this paper, it proposes the efficient iterative decoding stop criterion using the variance value of LLR. It is venfying that the proposal iterative decoding stop criterion can be reduced the average iterative decoding number compared to conventional schemes with a negligible degradation of the error performance. The proposal algorithm and hardware synthesize to use the Synopsys Tool, performance validations perform through the ModelSim.

      • The Tempest에 나타난 비희극 구조

        The structural pattern of Shakespeare's romances exhibits a tragicomic movement in which the catastrophic movement down into chaos is followed by the anastrophic movement up to stability. that is, the romances represent the movement of 'full circle' from order and harmony through chaos, disorder, and then back to order, reconciliation and harmony. then, the tragicomic cyclic movements are depicted as reccurent actions through the multiple plots in each romance. In this aspect, The Tempest, the last of Shakespeare's romances, shows the tragicomic circular pattern moving from the initial castrophic movement to the ultimate harmony. The play opens with the scene of violent tempest symbolizing disorder and ends with the harmonious music of sphere. And also in the play we see the cyclic recurrence represented by various manifestations of a single catastrophic pattern. The violent storm experienced by the Courtiers in the opening scene is a reenactment of that earlier storm, twelve years past, in which Prospero and his daughter, Miranda, were cruelly exposed. and Antonio's original crime which supplanted his brother Prospero, Antonio and Sebastian's attempt on Aloso's life, and Caliban, Stephano, and Trinculo's plot to murder Prospero also portray a world of cyclic recurrence through a series of catastophic actions. However, the catastrophic movement is converted into the anastrophic movement caused by the forgiveness as "the rarer action" of Prospero and the harmony of marriage of Ferdinand and Miranda. Finally, the action of the play returns to its prologue and all the characters resume their former places. The Wheel of Time comes full circle.

      • NMF 기반 LDA 혼합 알고리즘을 이용한 실시간 얼굴인식 시스템에 관한 연구

        In this paper, we propose a new NLM(NMF-based LDA Mixture) algorithm for real-time face recognition system. This system greatly consists of the two parts: 1) face extraction part; 2) face recognition part. In the face extraction part we applied subtraction image, color filtering, eyes and mouth region detection, and normalization method, and then in the face recognition part we used NLM in extracted face candidate region images. The existing recognition system using only PCA(Principal Component Analysis) showed low recognition rates, and it was hard in the recognition system using only LDA(Linear Discriminants Analysis) to apply LDA directly when the training set is small. To overcome these shortcomings, we reduced dimension as the matrix that had non-negative value to be different from former eigenfaces and then applied LDA to the matrix in the proposed system. We have experimented using self-organized DAUFace database and ORL database offered by AT&T laboratory in Cambridge, U.K. to evaluated the performance of the proposed system. The experimental results showed that the proposed method outperformed PCA, LDA, ICA(Independent Component Analysis) and PCA-based LDA mixture method within the framework of recognition accuracy.

      • 체급경기 선수들의 체중감량 정도와 방법에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate analyze the level and method of weight reduction on weight classification athletes including 36 Judo players, 10 Wrestling players, 12 Boxing players, and 21 Taekwondo players(total number of 79) The results of this study are as follows; 1. Each athletic weight reduction was displayed the largest amount of weight reduction in wrestling players was shown as 5.40±0.52㎏. Total weight reduction was displayed as the highest reduction (46.83% in the level of less2∼5㎏). In the level of over 5㎏, the percentage of 24.05 was shown. Also Judo and Wrestling players showed significant(p<.05) difference in over weights difference. 2. The method of weight reduction was displayed in such order: 1) exercise + sauna+ no food, 2) exercise only, 3) exercise +no food and 4) exercise +sauna respectively, the rank of the percentage showed as 54.43%, 20.25%, 15.18%, 10.12%,however, there is no weight reduction by using drugs. As the results, It is difficult to apply athletes weight reduction rate for each individual, otherwise it should be concerned on level up in the weight reduction level of over 5㎏. Futhermore, the purpose of weights reduction should focus on the maintenance of low body fat.
