LIU Da-gang,WANG De-qiang,WU Zhao-lin 한국항해항만학회 2006 한국항해항만학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2006 No.-
In order to take TC forecasts from different observatories into consideration, and make quantitative assessment and analysis for avoiding TC routes from the view of safety and cost, a new safe-economic decision making method of TC avoidance routing on ocean was put forward. This model is based on combining forecast of TC trace based on neural networks, technical method to determine the future TC wind and wave fields, technical method of fuzzy information optimization, risk analysis theory, and meteorological-economic decision making theory. It has applied to the simulation of MV Tianlihai’s shipping on ocean. The result shows that the model can select the optimum plan from 7 plans, the selected plan is in accordance with the one selected by experienced captains.

The disposal of spent radioactive ion exchange resin generated during the operation of nuclear facilitieshas always been a conundrum. The molten salt oxidation (MSO) for the treatment of mixed resin (MR)shows obvious superiority. In this work, ternary carbonate (Li2CO3-Na2CO3-K2CO3) and MR was usedas the molten salt system and the oxidation target, respectively. The oxidation behavior of MR was analyzedby varying the temperature and oxygen equivalent during the MSO process. By studying the effectof different oxygen equivalents on the oxidation efficiency, the oxygen equivalent of 125% could make theoxidation efficiency of MR reach 99.99% at 800 C. The composition of C, N and S containing exhaust gasproduced through MSO process of MR with temperature were almost consistent with the simulationresults. The exhaust gas was successfully adsorbed by molten carbonate to produce nitrate and sulfurcompounds. The carbonate has good absorption to harmful gases such as SO2, CO, NO, etc. The contentof SO2 from the highest 0.32% to 0, and 71.23% of sulfur in MR was trapped by molten carbonate asthe form of sulfate. This work has important implications for reducing the potential harm of radioactivewaste resin to the environment.
Energy-saving optimization on active disturbance rejection decoupling multivariable control
Ding Da-Min,Yang Hai-Ma,Liu Jin,Zhang Da-Wei,Jiang Xiao-Hui 한국원자력학회 2023 Nuclear Engineering and Technology Vol.55 No.3
An industrial control process multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) coupled system is analyzed in this study as an example of a Loss of Coolant Accident (LOCA) simulation system. Ordinary control algorithms can complete the steady state of the control system and even reduce the response time to some extent, but the entire system still consumes a large amount of energy after reaching the steady state. So a multivariable decoupled energy-saving control method is proposed, and a novel energy-saving function (economic function, Eco-Function) is specially designed based on the active disturbance rejection control algorithm. Simulations and LOCA simulation system tests show that the Eco-function algorithm can cope with the uncertainty of the multivariable system's internal parameters and external disturbances, and it can save up to 67% of energy consumption in maintaining the parameter steady state.
Drug-induced hyperglycaemia and diabetes: pharmacogenomics perspectives
Mou-Ze Liu,Hai-Yan He,Jian-Quan Luo,Fa-Zhong He,Zhang-Ren Chen,Yi-Ping Liu,Da-Xiong Xiang,Hong-Hao Zhou,Wei Zhang 대한약학회 2018 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.41 No.7
Drug-induced diabetes is widely reported inclinical conditions, and it is becoming a global issuebecause of its potential to increase the risk of severe cardiovascularcomplications. However, which drug mechanismsexert their diabetogenic effects and why the effectspresent significant inter-individual differences remain largelyunknown. Pharmacogenomics, which is the study ofhow genomic variation influences drug responses, providesan explanation for individual differences in drug-induceddiabetes. We highlight that pharmacogenomics can beinvolved in regulating the expression of genes in signalingpathways related to the pharmacokinetics or pharmacodynamicsof drugs or the pathogenesis of diabetes, contributingto the differences in drug-induced glucoseimpairment. The pharmacogenomics studies of the majordiabetogenic drugs are reviewed, including calcineurininhibitors, antipsychotics, hormones, and antihypertensivedrugs. We intend to elucidate the genetic basis of druginduceddiabetes and pave the way for the precise use ofthese drugs in the clinic.

The most important factor in breeding program is to obtain the value-added genetic line. Generally, breeders develop genetic sources using several methods such as segregation-breeding, cross-breeding, backcross-breeding, mutation induction, tissue culture and so on. Here, we present one classical way but very valuable method called cell fusion or protoplast fusion to create genetic sources for the breeding practice. The method we developed was the asymmetric somatic-hybridization of protoplast isolated from carrots. This is rather to transfer the nucleus from the high quality F1 hybrid to other mediocre line to produce a new carrot line. Since the breeding a carrot line for higher quality and purity takes a long time, therefore this nuclear transfer technology is very beneficial to generate a new line that could be useful to breed elite varieties. We had obtained around 200 fused carrots (cybrids), 12 cybrids were self pollinated and produced seeds. Selected progenies have been evaluated for horticultural characteristics and we have found new genetic lines that show better phenotypes.

Hypothyroidism alone can lead to myocardial fibrosis and result in heart failure, but traditional hormone replacement therapy does not improve the fibrotic situation. Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), a new gas signaling molecule, possesses antiinflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-fibrotic capabilities. Whether H2S could improve hypothyroidism-induced myocardial fibrosis are not yet studied. In our study, H2S could decrease collagen deposition in the myocardial tissue of rats caused by hypothyroidism. Furthermore, in hypothyroidism-induced rats, we found that H2S could enhance cystathionine-gamma-lyase (CSE), not cystathionine β-synthase (CBS), protein expressions. Finally, we noticed that H2S could elevate autophagy levels and inhibit the transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) signal transduction pathway. In conclusion, our experiments not only suggest that H2S could alleviate hypothyroidism- induced myocardial fibrosis by activating autophagy and suppressing TGF-β1/ SMAD family member 2 (Smad 2) signal transduction pathway, but also show that it can be used as a complementary treatment to conventional hormone therapy.
