In augmenting the Oriental noses with silicon implants Dong's guider innovated and has been applied to faciliation of the surgery among the population of the cosmetic cases of more than 70,000 in the Peiple's Republic of China. Using Dong's guider takes the operation time only three to five minutes and attains to high efficancy. This new technique is merely simple and lessens the patient's distress.

Ferromagnetic material like the steel tubes can easily distort eddy current testing signal due to increased magnetic permeability for defects. Because magnetic field of the test probe is affected in an inconsistent way when the material under the testing has permeability. This permeability effect can be reduced by magnetic saturation. In this paper eddy current testing system was developed to detect flaws on the steel tubes. Magnetic saturation probe with helmholtz coil was designed for saturation and inspection of the steel tubes. When using the designed test probe, the relationship between flaw signals and noises was obviously discriminated. Additionally, a high pass filter was included in the eddy current board to minimize noises due to DC magnetic field.

Objectives : This study was done to evaluate present status of child and adolescent psychiatric practice in the view of medical consumers. Help seeking behaviour process after recognizing their children's problem, satisfaction with psychiatric service, and difficult problems during practice were evaluated, and variable factors affecting them were analysed. Methods : Through 10 multi-center point epidemiologic survey, 540 parents and their psychiatrists were involved in this study by structured questionnaire. Results : Above 70% of subjects reported positive response to psychiatric service. The barrier to psychiatric service were different by subjects' age. In children, Parents' inability to identify severity of children's problem and proper management place were major reason. However in adolescent, children's lack of desire to receive help and parents' worry about stigma related to receiving help were major barrier to psychiatric service. Conclusion : These findings suggest the importance of interagency collaboration and education services. Researchers and policymakers should consider strategies to reduce barrier related to perceptions of mental health problems and services, especially in adolescents.

들깨鍾子의 休眠에 미치는 貯藏濕度의 影響

25 cultivars of perilla seeds were stored in air dry room condition after harvest. Seed samples were taken from the seed in storage and tested for germination at 25℃ to study the natural dormancy of the perilla seed. In air dry room, natural dormancy periods ranged from 51 to 71 days in cultivars for leave, from 28 days of the shortest ‘Daegugal’to 78 days of the longest ‘Daemyounghuk’in oil seed cultivars, and from 18 days of the shortest ‘India’to 61 days of ‘Baegimsogal’and ‘Hugim’. Dormancy period of ‘Jukjaso’was 152 days and other cultivars in Jaso group ranged from 62 to 72 days. The seeds of seven cultivars of perilla were stored in various levels of relative humidity from November 11 to March 31 Following year. Germination of ‘Gimhae’and ‘Gyungsanbaek’was conspicuously delayed at low storage humidity. The dormancy period of two cultivars were 51 days after harvest at RH100% and 121 days and 131 days at RH 30%, respectively. Thus, the lower storage humidity, the longer dormancy period. Above results indicate that excessive drying of perilla seeds after harvest causes inferior germination and delays dormancy break. Therefore, perilla seed should not be stored in excessively dry condition.

Consciously or unconsciously, the East and the West have been endlessly meeting and fusing. We live in the time when the epoch of Kipling’s false prophecy is already over and when the harmonious balance between East and West is, above all, important for the peaceful living of our human beings. From Emerson, we can learn the wisdom of equilibrium requisite for the modern times. The pivotal doctrine of his Orientalism is Indian philosophy. Especially he is inspired from the Vedantic concept of Brahma, which is a Supreme God of Hinduism like a kind of Emerson’s Over-Soul or Universal Being. Unborn, changeless, eternal, and thus indescribable, it implies the enigmatic bipolarity of existence. Emerson doesn’t deny the absolute polarity. Therefore, as in “The Sphinx,” nature remains as much a mystery in the past as in the present. We can obtain the harmonious and equilibratory insight into the world only as long as we can have a holistic point of view on it. All things in nature always, as in “Merlin II,” show the harmonious balance as a whole, as they pass silently away everyday as veiled figures of the eternities. The poet has once tasted “the immortal ichor” of nature and his “transparent eyeball” can see their perfectly tuneful beat of nature and make it a poem as “a new and transcendental whole.” Emerson pursues the balance of the extremes through his spiritual metamorphosis. And in the process he shows the spirit of unity: man and nature, matter and mind, East and West and so on. It can be said that his “double consciousness” results from what Henry David Gray calls “a compromise between these two extremes” and from what F.O. Matthiessen says “a poise in attitude between the two extremes.”

흡착공정에서 압력평등화 단계에 관한 연구

One of the simple multibed PSA processes is a three-bed adsorption process which simultaneously includes pressure equalization step, pressurization step using high-pressure product, production step, blowdown step, and a purge step in a cyclic state. Pressure equalization step reduces the loss of feed gas component arising from the depressurization and desorption. In this study, pressure equalization step was studied for local equilibrium model for the separation of hydrogen and carbon dioxide on the molecular sieve 5A and activated carbon. Pressure equalization level after the pressure equalization step was continuously increased as increase of the initial pressure ratio of the two beds. The results of this study would be useful in predicting and calculating the pressure equalization level using different models concerning the transfer phenomena.

Today human needs for health promotion and maintenance are increasing. The nursing progression has a great responsibility for helping clients to practice good health behavior. self efficacy was found to be potent predictor in initiating and maintaining the health-related behavior. Therefore, the concept is important in nursig intervention for change of health behavior. The purpose of this paper was to analyze and clarify the meaning of the concept, self efficacy. This study used Walder & Avant's process of concept analysis. Critical attributes of self efficacy were : 1) positive perception of his won capability; 2) intrapersonal strength; 3) possibility of being learned; 4) individuality; 5) specificity; 6) generalizability. Antecedents of self efficacy consist of those facts that 1) new situation occurs; 2) individuals have needs to change the new situation; 3) there are some required actions in new situation. Consequences occurring as a result of self efficacy consist of those facts that 1) individual initiates the of failure; 5) cope with the situation; 6) controls the situation; 7) the level of self efficacy is enhanced; 8) the level of self-esteem is enhanced.

프로그램 디버깅은 프로그램의 비정상적인 행동을 찾아서 고치는 프로세스이다. 이 프로세스는 본질적으로 사고력이 집중적으로 드는 프로세스이다. 현재 디버깅을 위한 이론이나 방법론이 거의없고 수동적인 프로그램 추적기 이 외에는 마땅한 도구도 없는 상황에서 디버깅 전문가나 기관들은 나름대로 많은 양의 디버깅 휴리스틱을 축적하였다. 이 프로세스를 수행하는 프로그래머를 돕기 위해서는 지식기반의 도구를 개발하는 것이 적절하다고 생각한다. 이 논문은 그러한 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 필요한 디버깅 휴리스틱의 표현 방안에 관한 것이다. 디버깅 휴리스틱이 어떤 것이 있으며 어떻게 이용되고 있는지를 밝히고 그것들을 지식베이스에서 체계화할 방안과 표현하는 방안을 제시하고 토의한다. Program debugging is a process of detecting and correcting an anomalous behavior of a program. It is essentially an intelligence intensive process. There is little formed theory or systematic approach for program debugging. Most of the program debugging tools are passive program tracers. Nevertheless, almost every software professional and every institution has accumulated a large body of debugging heuristics. It is though viable to develop a knowledge-based debugging tool. This paper is for the scheme to represent debugging heuristic knowledge to develop such a system. In this paper, a number of useful heuristic debugging knowledge are explained and their usage in debugging process are described. Then, a scheme to organize and represent the knowledge in the knowledge base is presented and discussed.
