1. 1983年 10月부터 1984年 4月까지 建國大學校 忠南演習林內의 森林資源을 파악하기 위한 調査에서 밝혀진 森林樹木은 針葉樹가 2科 3屬, 4種이고 落葉闊葉樹類는 19科, 41屬, 59種, 14變種, 1品種으로 나타났다. 2. 闊葉樹種이 針葉樹種에 比해 越等하게 많았으나 實際的인 優點種은 Pinus densiflora S. et Z.이었다. 3. 森林資源의 增進을 爲해서 風土에 適合한 經濟樹種으로서의 更新이 要請된다. 4. 森林資源의 保護를 爲한 綜合的인 對策이 樹立되어야 한다. 5. 地利的인 次元에서 本 森林은 演習林으로서의 活用性이 있는 것으로 認定된다. 1) This research was carried out from oct, 1983 to apr., 1984 to examine college forest resoures in Chung-Ju Its resurts were followed; 4 species, 3 genera, and 2 families in coniferae and 1 forma, 14 variety, 59 species, 41 genera and 19 families in hardwood forest. 2) There were hardwood species more than coniferae species, but the dominant species was Pinus densiflora S. et Z. 3) It is necessary that economical species appropreate for its climate be regeneralized. 4) Many mulrilateral plans have to be developed to protect the forest resources. 5) Finally, in locational respect, this forests are recognized to be proper as college forest.

The study was conducted to seek out the most ideal measures of improving the environmental conditions of green space in Chung-ju campus of Kon-Kuk University. The result of the study is summarized as follows: Warmth index in the campus in 93.8 and coldness index is -26.9. The lowest temperature of the winter season tends to gradually go up and a certain change of eccolosystem of botany is cinsidered likely to happen. Soil is generally lacked much of organic matters and total nutrient. Drainage system was found unsatisfactory. Alkali soil is stretched out and it was found that the soil was not adequate to grow of plants and trees. Kinds of trees planted in the campus consisted of 37 family, 60 genus, 96 species and 94 forma. It is desireable to plant various kinds of trees and generic trees highly worthy of educational values and well consistent with the weather and soil condition. A complex plan should be developed, which should include architecture of artificial facilities, road net work facilities, general soil surface treatment, planning and design of green open space and others. Trees of feeble and poor growth should be substisuted with gealthier kinds of trees. It is necessary to improve of planting and cultivation and perfect protection and management. Consensus of opinions and professionalism from many personages interested in the green open space project is essential to build up and develop the most rational green open space. This should be supported under well-organized system.

Four temples were picked from the central northern area in Chung-Won Zone. And the considered result of the temple scape factors can be conclusion as follows: 1. Most of relics worthy of the buddhist culture and tradition were burnt away and lost out,. There were much difficulties in collection and comparision of bibliographical materials. So urgent is the task of recovering and restoring the relics into their original forms and conditions. 2. When Chung-Won Zone in taken in a view of the military strategic position throughout the ancient triple dynasties rather than a center of cultural creation in the context of historical research, we cannot say that Chung-Won Zone was affected uniquely by a particular one nation among the three dynasties. 3. Virgin forest is completly damaged in general throughout current forest aspect of the each temple and yet forests are reviving and on the way of transition to the original. 4. It is assumed that the plants from the primitive around the temple in common were hard wood forest of mixed forest. To quickly bring up the progress of stable forest growth and development for the purpose of ecological advantage, useful hard wood forest should be well tended in a positive approach as the hard wood forest is potentially surfacing out. 5. Country species which is afforested to be proper to form the temple scape should be planted at many small sized spots so barren lands around. It is recommendable that Quercus aliena BL. stands espceally at the Kakyoon Temple be taken care of concentrating it should be leaded to the balanced selection forest type. 6. Caution should be directed to prevent damage of Theodiplosis Japonensis U. et I. from pinus densiflora S. et Z. stands at Kooin Temple and Konglim Temple and also from pinus densiflora for. multicaulis U. at Kayoon Temple. 7. Forest outside the boundary of the temple should be established as a special protective zone and worning boards should be displayed to the public so that people recognize the forest scapes are the most precious resources and dense forest should be developed to be a model forest in Korea. 8. We should be able to find a place of sight pleasue, rest and recreation through further successful development of natural scape elements surrounding the temples. It is ideal that man can expect to enjoy our mental recuperation in the nature from of the forest.
영지버섯(Ganoderma Iucidum) 생장점으로부터 분리한 단백다당류의 면역활성

Two protein-polysaccharide fractions. GLA and GLB, respectively, were prepared from the pileus of the fully grown carpophores and the tips of the growing carpophores of Ganoderma lucidum. At a dose of 100 ㎎/㎏/day ip. GLA and GLB inhibited the growth of sarcoma 180 solid tumor in ICR mice by 56.3% and 81.8%, respectively. In a flow cytometric (FCM) analysis. GLA and GLB enhanced the formation of lymphoblasts of BALB.c splenic leukocytes at a concentration of 100㎍/㎖, by 38.3% and 61.3%, respectively. When ip injected into ICR mice. GLB exerted anti-leukopernic effect against cyclopospamide (75 ㎎/㎏/day ip) in that the leukocyte counts of the peripheral blood of the normal and the cycloposphamide-treated mice, respectively, was (11.1±3.8)×10 exp(3) and (4.0±1.8)×10 exp(3), while the GLB-cyclophosphamide treated mice showed a leukocyte count of (10.8±5.1)×10 exp(3) cells/㎕. These results suggest that GLB is a promising candidate for an effective cancer immunotherapeutic agent.
Imipramine과 Reserpine이 신경말단의 Ca^++이동에 미치는 효과

Since calcium ion is known to be associated in the initiation of stimulus-induced neurotransmitter release from nerve endings, effects of imipramine and reserpine on the Na^+-K^+ ATPase, Mg^++ ATPase, Ca^++-Mg^++ ATPase and Na^+-Ca^++ ATPase activities in rat brain synaptosomes which may be associated with adrenoceptor were investigated. In view of the possible role of mitochondria in the control of intracellular Ca^++ concentration, suggested effects of imipramine and reserpine on the mitochondrial Ca^++ uptake and the Na^+-induced Ca^++ release from mitochondria were also studied. Na^+-K^+ ATPase activities in rat brain synaptosomes were inhibited by imipramine in a dose dependent manner. Reserpine, however showed no effect on or slightly increased these ATPase activities. Na^+-K^+ ATPase. Mg^++ ATPase and Ca^++-Mg^++ ATPase activities were all enhanced by norepinephrine and dopamine, but Na^+-Ca^++ ATPase activity inhibited by these agents. The effects of these catecholamines on these ATPase activities were antagonized by propranolol or yohimbine. Imipramine inhibited all the above mentioned ATPase activities in the same degree in the presence or absence of the catecholamines. Reserpine decreased the effects of catecholamines on these ATPase activities. The initial rate of calcium binding to mitochondria was enhanced by imipramine, but the maximum calcium binding was not affected. In the presence of reserpine or verapamil, both the maximum calcium binding and the initial binding rate were inhibited. With regard to Na^+-induced Ca^++ release from mitochondria, both the amount and rate of calcium release were enhanced by imipramine, but were not altered by reserpine. The above findings suggest that imipramine may increase the free intracellular calcium concentration through the inhibition of Na^+-K^+ ATPase, Mg^++ ATPase, Ca^++-Mg^++ ATPase and Na^+-Ca^++ ATPase activities which may result in enhancement of initial binding and subsequent release of Ca^++ to and from mitochondria. On the other hand, reserpine may induce consistent release of neurotransmitters through the inhibition of the ATPase which may play a regulatory role in the release of neurotransmitters and it may maintain an increased intracellular free calcium by the inhibition of calcium binding to mitochondria.

乙淑島의 鹽海地 改良과 適作物選定 試驗에 관한 圃場現地試驗을 加里의 增施, 堆肥施用, 石灰施用等 要因實驗으로 實施한 結果 얻어진 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 堆肥施用은 채소의 發芽生育 및 收量增大에 效果가 컸다. 2. 石灰施用효과도 認定되었다. 3. 施用堆肥는 鹽分을 含有蓄積하였다. 4. 堆肥施用區의 毛管水中 鹽分濃度는 他區에 比해 적었다. 5. 共試作物中 鹽度에 對한 저항이 가장 큰것은 배추였다. 6. 鹽害地砂質土壤에서도 菜蔬栽培가 可能하였다. In order to improve nearly unarable Saline sand soil, a factorial experiment have been conducted to find out the effect of compost, lime and increased potassium application on the yield, germination and growth of some vegetables; the result obtained and discussed may be summarized as follows: (1) The effect of compost application was great to germination, growth and yield of some vegetables. (2) The effect of lime application was convinced. (3) NaCl-salts is much more concentrated in compost applied. (4) The salt concentration involved in capillary water at the plot of compost applied was less than that of the other plots. (5) Chinese Cabbage is most resistant to salt concentration among the vegetables tested. (6) It was able to grow vegetable cultivation on Woolsuck Island of Saline and Sand soil.
Captopril과 Nifedipine 병합요법의 강압효과에 관한 임상적 연구

Background: The hypotensive effect of captopril(angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor) and nifedipine(calcium channel blocker) was studied. Method: Captopril(75mg) and nifedipine(30mg) were administered in 30 hypertensive adults during twelve weeks after a week observation for washout with stepwise increments of the dose according to the patient's blood pressure in every two weeks. Result: The supine blood pressure were decreased from 169.5±22.3/104.0±20.3 mmHg to 130.4±21.3/82.4±19.5mmHg at the end of twelve weeks during therapy.(p<0.05) The standing blood pressure were also decreased conferrably and to the some lower level. Hematologic examination and blood chemistry revealed no discernible abnormal findings before and after the treatment. During the period of the study a few probably drug-related symptom such as cough and headache, gastrointestinal disturbance developed but not troublesome enough to administering. Conclusion: Captopril and nifedipine regimen is well tolerated and effective in the treatment of hypertensive patients.

Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.
한국 재래식 된장과 고추장의 숙성 중 미생물, 효소활성 및 주요 성분의 변화

재래식 된장과 고추장의 가스 발생을 억제하여 저장성을 향상시키기 위한 생물공학적 방법을 개발하고자 먼저 재래식 된장(봄메주 된장과 가을메주 된장)과 고추장(순천식)을 제조하여 4개월간 숙성시키면서 미생물과 효소활성 및 주요 성분의 변화를 조사하였다. 호기성 세균은 된장과 고추장 모두 숙성 60일까지 증가한 후 큰 변화가 없었고 혐기성 세균은 숙성기간 동안 된장에서는 10^7~10^8/g, 고추장에서는 10^5~10^6/g이었으며 효모는 된장에서는 숙성 15일까지 급격히 증가한 후 변화가 없었으나 고추장에서는 숙성 15일에 출현하여 60일까지 10^6/g으로 증가하였다. α-amylase 활성은 가을메주 된장에서, glucoamylase는 고추장에서 숙성기간 전반에 걸쳐 제일 높았고 산성 protease와 중성 protease 활성은 대체로 숙성 15일~30일경에 최대를 보였다. pH는 된장에서는 숙성 60일까지 7.0까지 높아졌지만 고추장은 숙성기간 내내 pH 5.0으로 낮아졌다. 수분은 봄메주 된장과 고추장에서 숙성이 진행됨에 따라 낮아져서 숙성 120일 후 40%이었으며 환원당은 고추장에서 숙성 15일까지 19.9%로 증가한 후 감소하는 경향이었다. Changes in microorganisms, enzyme activities and major components of two types of Doenjang prepared with spring Meju and autumn Meju and Kochujang were investigated during 5 months of fermentation. The viable cell counts of aerobic bacteria in Doenjang and Kochujang were increased up to 60 days of fermentation, but viable cell counts of anaerobic bacteria did not show remarkable changes during fermentation. Viable cell count of yeast showed a rapid increase up to 15 days of fermentation in Doenjang and 60 days in Kochujang. It was found that α-amylase activity of autumn Meju Doenjang and glucoamylase activity of Kochujang were higher than the other. Acidic and neutral protease showed the highest activity during 15~30 days of fermentation. The pH of Doenjang was increased up to pH 7.0 until 60 days of fermentation, but pH of Kochujang gradually decreased during fermentation. Moisture content of spring Meju Doenjang and Kochujang decreased to 40% during fermentation and reducing sugar content of Kochujang increased up to 15 days of fermentation, but decreased after that.
