        Objective : To compare the advantages and disadvantages between laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH) and total vaginal hysterectomy (TVH). Methods : We reviewed the medical records of patients who underwent LAVH and TVH from January 2004 to December 2006. We investigated the difference between LAVH group and TVH group in relation to age, weight, parity, previous abdominal operation, indication for hysterectomy, uterine weight, combined operation, operation time, postoperative hemoglobin change, gas out day, postoperative discharge day, and complications. Results : The most common indication of both group was uterine leiomyoma and/or adenomyosis, especially carcinoma in situ of uterine cervix or cervical cancer Ia1 were more frequent indication in LAVH group than TVH group (p=0.018). Operation time of LAVH group was significantly more longer than TVH group, 173.21 mins vs 127.36 mins respectively (p<0.001), and postoperative discharge day of LAVH group was more longer than TVH group, 5.59 days vs 4.86 days respectively (p=0.034). But there was not statistically significant difference between TVH group and LAVH group in relation to others: age, weight, parity, previous abdominal operation, uterine weight, combined operation, postoperative hemoglobin change, gas out day, and complications. Conclusion : Both LAVH and TVH have many following advantages compared with abdominal hysterectomy: less pain, shorter hospital day, cosmetic advantages, and lower mobidity. TVH even can be done safely in cases of large uterus or previous abdominal operation, but disadvantages of that are limited operation field and no visible abdominal cavity. In comparison, LAVH offers a view of abdominal cavity and can perform adnexal operation or adhesiolysis, but disadvantage of that is high cost. Thus the study in relation to appropriate selection of hysterectomy will be necessary to satisfy patient and lower cost.

      • PSPICE Macromodeling에 의한 PLL의 주파수 특성연구

        본 논문은 범용화되어있는 Microsim 사의 PSPICE를 이용해서 위상동기루프(PLL) Micromodeling으로 설계하여 시뮬레이션 하였다. PLL 회로는 위상검출기와 전압제어 발진기 그리고 루프 필터로 이루어져 있다. RC 저역통과 필터와 Butterworth 필터 그리고 Chebyshev 필터 등을 이용하여 입력주파수 변화에 따른 루프필터의 주파수 특성을 분석하였다. 그리고 전압제어 발진기의 자주발진주파수를 2.5kHz, 19kHz로 고정할 때의 주파수 스펙트럼을 분석하였다. 자주발진주파수 2.5kHz에서 Chebyshev 필터의 경우 upper lock range와 lower lock range는 똑같이 1,056Hz, 1,056Hz였고 upper capture range와 lower capture range는 536Hz, 540Hz였다. 또한 시뮬레이션 과정에서 삼각파를 구형파로 바꾸는 VCO의 슈미트 트리거단에서 수렴문제로 인하여 19KHz 이상에서는 상당히 긴 시뮬레이션 시간을 필요로 하는 단점이 있었다. 그렇지만 낮은 주파수대에서 주파수 특성 분석의 용이함과 정확성 및 복잡한 회로의 간략화에서 매크로모델링의 타당성을 보였다. With today's general simulator, PSPICE, a phase-locked loop(PLL), which consists of a phase detector(PD), a voltage-controlled oscillator(VCO), and a low-pass filter(LPF), is designed and simulated in macromodeling technique. By using a RC LPF, a Butterworth, and a Chebyshev LPF in turn, the frequency characteristics of the outputs according to the variations of the inputs are analyzed respectively. When 2.5KHz and 19KHz are selected as two specified free running frequencies in VCO block, the frequency spectrums of the outputs show that in case of the Chebyshev LPF at 2.5KHz, the upper and lower rock ranges have the same frequency ranges, 1056Hz, and the upper and lower capture ranges are 536Hz and 540Hz respectively. Furthermore, the simulation takes a long time especially above 19KHz, because of the convergence problem at schmitt trigger section, where the triangular wave is changed into the rectangular wave. However, this paper shows some validity that this macromodeling technique is one of the easy and accurate methods in analyzing the frequency characteristics, and useful in simplifying the complicated circuits at low frequency band below 19KHz.

        만성 무배란에 의한 불임증과 자궁내막암이 동반된 젊은 여성에서의 보존적 치료 경험 1예

        Endometrial cancers which occur in genetically susceptible women under 40 years of age are related to prolonged unopposed estrogen stimulation of endometrium. Most of these patients complain of menstrual disorder, infertility, hirsutism, obesity, and hypertension, occasionally accompany with polycystic ovarian syndrome or functioning ovarian tumor. Most of these endometrial cancers have a good prognosis, but it has rarely been reported a death, because lesions are histologically well-differentiated and within the limit of endometrium. These young women with well-differentiated endometrial adenocarcinoma who desire a pregnancy can be treated with high-dose progestin, which induces endometrial attenuation, thereafter they can try to induce ovulation for a pregnancy. However, it must be recognized that occasionally recurrent endometrial cancer has been reported in such a consevative treatment. If the endometrium has recurrent, persistent or progressive lesion or follow-up of patient is impossible, the surgery such as total hysterectomy must be performed. We experienced a well-differentiated adenocarcinoma of endometrium in 29 years old infertile woman with chronic anovulation in July 1993. This young woman was treated successfully with high-dose progestin therapy and ovulation induction with clomiphen citrate, finally she succeeded in a pregnancy by in vitro fertilization program 6 years later, in July 1999, and was delivered of a 2,900 gram female by cesarean section. But she was lost follow-up after delivery and not treated for endometrial cancer, and the lesion was reccurred in September 2006, so treated with a total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingoophorectomy in our hospital ; the pathology was well-differentiated adenocarcinoma and the lesion was limited within the endometrium. Thus we report this case with a brief review of literature.

      • GPS 위성수신용 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나의 설계 및 제작

        고유전율의 유전체 세라믹 기판을 사용하여 GPS(Global Positioning System) 위성수신용 단일 급전 원형편파 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나를 제작하여 시험하였다. 제작된 안테나는 작기 때문에 차량과 같은 이동체에 사용하기 적합하였다. 우선회 원형편파를 구현하기위해 정방형 패 치면의 모서리를 잘랐다. 급전 방식은 패치면의 50Ω지점에 동축 프로브로 하였고, 시뮬레이션 하여 1.57542GHz에서 공진되도록 설계하였다. 제작된 안테나의 반사손실은 -13.394dB이고, 공진 주파수는 설계 주파수보다 약간 높은 1.591GHz로 측정되었다. 따라서 이 안테나는 GPS 위성수신용으로 사용하기에 적합하였다. Single-feed circularly polarized microstip patch antenna for GPS Satellite Receiver was fabricated by using high permittivity dielectric ceramic substrate and tested. This miniature antenna is suitable to be used for mobile such as cars. By truncating the corners of squared patch, right hand circular polarization was realized. It was fed by coaxial probe on patch at 50Ω impedance, and was simulated to resonate at 1.57542GHz. The return loss of this antenna was -13.394dB, and resonant frequency was measured at 1.591GHz higher than desired frequency. Therefore, it could be used for GPS Satellite Receiver.

      • 이동체에 적합한 소형 무선 데이터 송·수신기 설계 및 제작

        이동체에 적합한 소형 무선 데이터 송수신기를 설계하여 그 특성을 시험하였다. 본 논문에서는 Binary FSK-NRZ로 변조된 소형의 송수신기를 사용하여 원격측정 시스템의 이상상태를 데이터화시켜 전파로 송출 함으로써, 이동 상태에서 시스템의 상태를 실시간 모니터링 할 수 있도록 하였다. 송신기 출력은 10mW로써 약 300∼500meter로 측정되었다. A small wireless transceiver has been designed and its characteristics is investigated. In this paper, we uses the transceiver whose modulated signal format is the binary FSK-NRE line code, and the telemetering system using the transceiver is monitored in real time by checking the radiated data of its extraordinary phenomena, as even though it is mobile. It shows that the output power of transmitter is about 10mW, and can transmit data up to 300∼500 meter.

      • 일개 간호대학생의 학습양식 유형에 따른 선호 교수학습방법 분석

        Purpose : This research is an attempt to apprehend learning styles of university students of the Nursing department and to analyze the preference between the learning style and teaching methods in order to plan efficient learning strategies. Method : The objects of this research were 348 students from 1st to 4th year of a university in 'G' city, and the used tool was ILS(The Index of Learning Styles), a model revised in 2002 by Felder and Siverman(Felder-Siverman, 2004). Result : The learning style of nursing students were sensual 94.8%, visual 2.5%, active 69.8% and sequential 66.7% showed responses. The learning style according to scholastic year and sex appeared to prefer sensory, visual, active and sequential ways however was not statistically reliable. The teaching methods students preferred turned out to be lecture 63.0%, audiovisual methods 29.0%, presentation and debate 8.0%. Also teaching method preference in the active/reflective style(χ2=23.351, p=.000) and sequential/global style(χ2=8.214, p=.016) showed a slight difference statistically reliable. Conclusion : This research will help maximize efficiency of education by planning preferable teaching methods according to each learning styles of students.

        감자의 가공품질에 영향을 미치는 토양 및 기상조건

        감자의 가공품질에 영향을 미치는 토양 및 기상조건을 구명하기 위하여 국내 주요 감자재배 지역 7곳에 1994년부터 1995년까지 2년에 걸쳐 각 지역별 2~3개 농가에서 감자를 재배하였으며, 각 재배포장의 토양시료 채취 및 괴경을 수확하였다. 지역별 감자 괴경의 가공품질 차이의 원인을 구명키 위하여 토양분석과 수확일 기준으로 수확전 70~10일 사이의 기상조건을 10일 간격으로 조사하였으며, 수확된 괴경의 가공품질과 이들 요인과의 상관계수를 계산하였다. 시험결과 감자의 가공품질은 토양의 화학적 특성 중에서 토양내 유기물함량과 높은 상관계수를 보였다. 또한 기상조건과 관련하여 수확전 30~10일 사이의 최저온도가 낮으며, 일조시간이 많을수록 감자의 가공품질이 향상되었다. 또한 이들 상관관계가 높은 요인들을 대상으로 가공품질 요인에 대한 다중회귀식을 구한 결과 괴경건물율과 칩색도는 비교적 높은 결정계수를 보여주었다. 따라서 우리나라에서 고품질의 가공원료 생산을 위한 적지 선정에 있어 토양중의 유기물 함량과 그 지역의 최저온도 및 일조시간 둥이 고려되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. In order to examine the difference in processing quality of potato tubers among localities, chemical properties of soils were analyzed and climatic conditions were investigated. potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L) were grow at seven localities of Korea during two years from 1994 to 1995. Soil samples and tubers were obtained from 2 to 3 commercial farms per locality with 10 days interval from 70 days before harvesting. As the result of that, higher correlation in processing quality was found with organic material content among soil conditions. On the climatic conditions, minimum temperature and sunshine hours during the period from 30 to 11 days before harvesting exhibited highly significant negative correlations with all quality parameters except reducing sugar content. Additionally, regression equations based on the observed level of these factors showed the relatively high coefficients of determination for dry matter content and chip color. To produce higher quality potatoes for processing, therefore, climatic conditions such as minimum temperature and sunshine hour and soil condition such as organic matter content have to be considered before the selection of areas or fields.

        Spin Torque Nano-Oscillator with an Exchange-Biased Free Rotating Layer

        We propose a new type of spin torque nano-oscillator structure with an exchange- biased free rotating layer. The proposed spin torque nano-oscillator consists of a fixed layer and a free rotating layer with an additional anti-ferromagnetic layer, which leads to an exchange bias in the free rotating layer. The spin dynamics of the exchange-biased free rotating layer can be described as an additional exchange field because the exchange bias manifests itself by the existance of a finite exchange bias field. The exchange bias field plays a similar role to that of a finite external field. Hence, microwave generation can be achieved without an external field in the proposed structure.
