        An Interactive Perspective Scene Completion Framework Guided by Complanate Mesh

        This paper presents an efficient interactive framework for perspective scene completion and editing tasks, which are available largely in the real world but rarely studied in the field of image completion. Considering that it is quite hard to extract perspective information from a single image, this work starts from a friendly and portable interactive platform to obtain the basic perspective data. Then, in order to make this interface less sensitive, easier and more flexible, a perspective-rectification based correction mechanism is proposed to iteratively update the locations of the initial points selected by users. At last, a complanate mesh is generated by the geometry calculations from these corrected initial positions. This mesh must approximate the perspective direction and the structure topology as much as possible so that the filling process can be conducted under the constraint of the perspective effects of the original image. Our experiments show the results with good qualities and performances, and also demonstrate the validity of our approaches by various perspective scenes and images.

        Higher-Order Conditional Random Field established with CNNs for Video Object Segmentation

        We perform the task of video object segmentation by incorporating a conditional random field (CRF) and convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Most methods employ a CRF to refine a coarse output from fully convolutional networks. Others treat the inference process of the CRF as a recurrent neural network and then combine CNNs and the CRF into an end-to-end model for video object segmentation. In contrast to these methods, we propose a novel higher-order CRF model to solve the problem of video object segmentation. Specifically, we use CNNs to establish a higher-order dependence among pixels, and this dependence can provide critical global information for a segmentation model to enhance the global consistency of segmentation. In general, the optimization of the higher-order energy is extremely difficult. To make the problem tractable, we decompose the higher-order energy into two parts by utilizing auxiliary variables and then solve it by using an iterative process. We conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on multiple datasets, and the proposed method achieves competitive results.

        Luminescence characteristics and site-occupancy of Eu<sup>2+</sup>- and Eu<sup>3+</sup>-doped MgZn<sub>2</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub> phosphors

        <P>Eu<SUP>2+</SUP>- and Eu<SUP>3+</SUP>-doped MgZn<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB> were prepared using the high temperature solid-state reaction method. The excitation spectra in the UV and VUV region, the emission spectra, and the luminescence decay curves of the Eu<SUP>2+</SUP> and Eu<SUP>3+</SUP> ions were investigated. The crystallographic distributions of the Eu<SUP>2+</SUP> and Eu<SUP>3+</SUP> sites in MgZn<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB> lattices are different. MgZn<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>:Eu<SUP>2+</SUP> presents a bluish green luminescence with two distinct emission centers at 450 and 525 nm. MgZn<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>:Eu<SUP>3+</SUP> presents an reddish orange color with luminescence transitions from the <SUP>5</SUP>D<SUB>0</SUB> level of the Eu<SUP>3+</SUP> ions. There exist two Eu<SUP>2+</SUP>-crystallographic sites in MgZn<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>:Eu<SUP>2+</SUP>, which occupy both Mg<SUP>2+</SUP> and Zn<SUP>2+</SUP> sites. However, there is only one Eu<SUP>3+</SUP>-site in the MgZn<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>:Eu<SUP>3+</SUP> lattices, which was confirmed by site-selective excitation and emission spectroscopy, and the luminescence decay in the <SUP>5</SUP>D<SUB>0</SUB>→<SUP>7</SUP>F<SUB>0</SUB> region of the Eu<SUP>3+</SUP> ions under a pulsed, tunable, narrowband dye laser. The Eu<SUP>3+</SUP> ion was suggested to occupy the octahedral Mg<SUP>2+</SUP>-site in the MgZn<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB> lattices. The spectral characteristics, the temperature-dependent luminescence intensity and activation energies of thermal stabilities and the microstructures were discussed on the basis of the crystal structure and the luminescence results.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Eu<SUP>2+</SUP> ions occupy both Mg<SUP>2+</SUP> and Zn<SUP>2+</SUP> sites in MgZn<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>:Eu<SUP>2+</SUP>, and the occupancy on Zn<SUP>2+</SUP> sites is dominant.         Analysis and Synthesis of the In-line Slider-Elliptic Crank Dwell Mechanism

        Elliptic crank is a planet mechanism which is able to generate elliptic curve, with elliptic crank as the driven crank of slider-crank mechanism is equal to the mechanism which has a variable length and a variable speed along the elliptical moving crank, which changed the kinematic characteristics of the slider. This paper studies the motion characteristics of the in-line slider- elliptic crank mechanism. A slider mechanism, which has approximate dwell characteristics at the limit position, is proposed. The analysis and synthesis method of the mechanism was presented. The effect on dwell performance of mechanism parameters was analyzed. The adjusting method of the dwell range was put forward. In the end, the design example was given.

        Slider Crank Mechanism Design with Time Ratio and Minimum Transmission Angle

        The size parameters of slider crank mechanism are directly treated as design variable. The analytical synthesis method of the mechanism with time ratio and the selecting range of design variable are presented. The mechanism synthesis method which simultaneously satisfies the conditions of time ratio and minimum transmission angle is presented.         Dietary Tea Catechin Inclusion Changes Plasma Biochemical Parameters, Hormone Concentrations and Glutathione Redox Status in Goats

        The beneficial effects of tea catechins (TCs) are related not only to their antioxidant potential but also to the improvement of animal meat quality. In this study, we assessed the effects of dietary TC supplementation on plasma biochemical parameters, hormone responses, and glutathione redox status in goats. Forty Liuyang goats were randomly divided into four equal groups (10 animals/group) that were assigned to four experimental diets with TC supplementation at 4 levels (0, 2,000, 3,000 or 4,000 mg TC/kg DM feed). After a 60-day feeding trial, all goats were slaughtered and sampled. Dietary TC treatment had no significant effect on blood biochemical parameters, however, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (p<0.001), triglyceride (p<0.01), plasma urea nitrogen (p<0.01), and glucose (p<0.001) decreased and total protein (p<0.01) and albumin (p<0.05) increased with the feeding time extension, and day 20 was the turning point for most of changes. Interactions were found in glutathione (p<0.001) and the ratio of reduced and oxidized glutathione (p<0.05) in whole blood between treatment and feeding time. Oxidized glutathione in blood was reduced (p<0.05) by 2,000 mg TC/kg feed supplementation, and a similar result was observed in longissimus dorsi muscle. Though plasma glutathione peroxidase (p<0.01) and glutathione reductase (p<0.05) activities were affected by treatment and feeding time interactions, and glutathione S-transferases activity increased with feeding day extension, no changed values appeared in longissimus dorsi muscle. In conclusion, dietary TC supplementation affected the concentrations of some blood metabolites and accelerated GSH depletion in the blood of goats. In terms of less high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, the highest insulin and IGF-I concentrations, the highest ratio of reduced and oxidized glutathione in plasma, the dosage of 2,000 mg TC/kg feed might be desirable for growing goats to prevent glutathione depletion and keep normal physiological metabolism.
