        This research has the aims of making known what the characteristics of physique and physical fitness factors are and establishing a desirable model of standard evaluation for talented collegiate athletes according to their games. Method All 157 talented athletes of 11 items of sports who attend colleges in Pusan and chosen for the research, and standard evaluation by means of T-score was made on the basis of the measurement results of 18 physique and 28 physical fitness factors. The numbers of student athletes in each event are 29 in baseball, 27 in socer, 22 in wrestling, 16 in taegwondo, 15 in judo, 14 in ssirum, 12 in bosing, 7 in track & field, 5 in archery, and 3 in cycling. Conclusion 1. The first three groups which attained higher records in standing height, body weight of chest and sitting height were those of ssirum, field & track and judo, while those of Taegwondo and archery were the lowest 2. In such factors as length of upper arm and length of limb, the groups of field & track, ssirum and baseball were highest in order, while those of archery and cycling were the lowest in their scores. 3. In girths of upper arm, forearm and thigh, the athlete groups of ssirum, judo and field & track in order got higher scores than others, while the lowest two groups were those of Taegwondo and archer. 4. In strengths of grip, upper arm in extensor and flexor and leg in extensor and flexor, the groups of ssirum, field & track and judo were the highest three, and those of archery and boxing were the lowest two. 5. In the relative strength factor, the groups of field & track, archery and cycling in the score order were the highest, and judo and boxing groups were the lowest. 6. In the static muscular endurance factor, the player groups of wrestling, soccer and archery were in order the highest three, and those of baseball and boxing were the lowest two. 7. In the power factor, the collegiate athlete groups of field & track, fencing, ssirum and baseball were the highest four in the score order, and those of boxing and archery were the lowest two. 8. In the factor of flexibility, the athletic groups of fencing, archery and Taegwondo were the highest three, while those of field & track and boxing showed the lowest marks. 9. In the factor of cardiovascular funciton and endurance, the student player groups of field & track, ssirum and soccer were the highest three, while those of boxing and archery received the lowest scores. 10. A model of standard evaluation of physique and physical fitness for the subjects, namely talented athletes, by means of T-score were presented in Table 5-1, 2, 3 and 4.

      • RTA용 반강체 동축케이블 안테나의 특성

        Radiofrequency thermal ablation (RTA) as one of the microwave hyperthermia is becoming the treatment of choice for small but inoperable tumors of the liver. In this paper, we deigned semi-rigid coaxial cable antenna with a ring slot for RTA applicator. To optimize the maximum output of radiation at 2450㎒, we simulated the antenna using 2D Electromagnetic Simulation Tools HFSS program and analyzed the return loss and the electric field Etot at the near-field region between the simulation results and measurement results. As a result, we obtained the return loss of -29.786㏈ at 2450㎒ when the antenna was placed between two blocks of a pig's liver, and the measurement results agreed with the simulation results well. Therefore, this semi-rigid coaxial cable antenna with a ring slot can be used very usefully as the applicator for RTA.

      • 극초음속 실험장치의 구동부 특성에 관한 연구

        There are shock tunnel, gun tunnel, piston tunnel and expansion tube as ground-based hypersonic test facilities. Performances of these facilities depend on many things, but mainly characteristics of driver. These drivers are very important impulse facilities but hardly known for lack of theoretical analysis. Most of knowledges about drivers are based on facility developer's own experiences and experimental data. Characteristics of shock wave compression and piston compression have been studied in this reseach to study characteries of drivers of impulse test facilities. Change of ratio of driver pressure to stagnation pressure has been compared to well known results of other researches and it shows very similar trend. Shock wave compression is more effective than piston compression in low pressure, but piston compression is more effective than shock wave compression in high pressure. Results of our gas gun tests show that piston compression is more effective to get higher stagnation pressure in the region of the above 72 of driver pressue ratio.

        After Industrial Revolution, energy has been recognized as an important factor which enhances the motive power for industry in the industrial society. However, recently the excessive consumption of energy pursuant to the rapid expansion of industry created serious problems of the exhaustion of fossil fuels as well as unusual change in the weather due to the mass discharge of carbon dioxide. We can say that after all these proposal will boil down to the development of New & Renewable energy. The most suitable source of energy for this required change is solar energy. The advantages of solar energy are that it is renewable, infinite supplied and environmentally safe energysource, and the method of energy supply is in small scale and is decentralized. However, solar energy related products have the problems such as the limitation for installation, problems in maintenance and insufficient reliability, which have been the barrier to consumers to satisfy the purchase need for solar heat related products. In this research will perform thermodynamic analysis through the application of infrared ray thermal imaging camera and will discuss about the applicability of solar energy system and other fields as well.

      • 적외선 카메라 이용한 금속 내부 결함 평가에 관한 연구

        RT and UT are largely used as a non-destructive assessment of welding defects. RT shows difficulty in radioactive exposure and real-time detection. UT shows difficulty in quantitative detection of defects, and examination of a wide area in a short time. In order to settle the aforementioned disadvantages, many researchers try to find solution. In this paper, we apply a new examination method to verify the effectiveness in order to supplement the disadvantages of UT and RT, the existing non-destructive methods. The new method proposed in this paper is to use a difference in heat conductivity. If there is a discontinuous part, that is an internal defect. there is a difference in heat conductivity. Using this fact, it is possible to check the existence of an internal defect due to a temperature difference on the part with a defect and the part without a defect when the welded part is heated. The temperature difference on the surface indicated by the difference in heat conductivity can be checked for a wide area within a short time, by means of a thermal Image camera thereby to settle the disadvantage of the conventional non-destructive inspection methods. The thermal image method, however, has a disadvantage in that thermal load must be given to the tested sample and it is difficult to quantify measured data. In order to overcome this disadvantage, we will describe preliminary test and the like for applying thermal load on the tested sample including a welding defect, photographing images by means of a thermal image camera, analyzing thermal images, and analyzing welding defects.

        In this investigation, we evaluated diagnoses of a defect concerning coating of land-base gas turbine using infrared thermography camera. In this camera method has a strong point which is able to save time and costs compared with former method. Because it can be long field acquire temperature distribution by using non-contact method. But it has a week point that method applies thermal load about inspection sample. Presently, Method used widely in detection of crack is ultrasonic inspection. But this method, There is problem in application in place that uneven surface. In order to check cracks on a blade coating of a gas turbine, a part with cracks in a waste blade disposed after having been used in the field was extracted to produce a sample. So we apply the method by a infrared thermography camerato the produced sample, the sample was heated by means of a halogen lamp. In this paper, we want to describe production of land-base turbine sample, a method of applying thermal load at produced sample, infrared thermography camera technique, an analysis technique of thermography, a defect analysis of coating of land-base gas turbine blades.

        Clopidogrel bisulfate, a widely used inhibitor of platelet aggregation, is considered at least as safe as aspirin. We describe a 61 year old male patient who developed a systemic inflammatory response syndrome consisting of high fever, rash, chills, impaired liver function, and mild leukopenia after receiving clopidogrel after coronary angiography and stent implantation. The reaction resolved promptly after withdrawal of the drug, thus making the diagnosis of a clopidogrel induced reaction highly probable.

        Brugada syndrome is characterized by right bundle branch block morphology and ST segment elevation in the right precordial leads and a propensity to develop ventricular arrhythmias. Mutations in a cardiac sodium channel gene have been linked to this syndrome, and the ionic mechanisms responsible for the electrocardiographic phenotype are temperature-dependent. This case report describes a patient in whom a typical Brugada ECG pattern developed during fever and returned normal ECG after fever was subsided.

        Performance Optimization of Hypervelocity Launcher System using Experimental Data

        This study presents the performance optimization of hypervelocity launcher system by using the experimental data. During the optimization, the RSM (Response Surface Method) is adopted to find the operating parameters that could maximize the projectile speed. To construct a reliable response surface model, 3 full factorial method is used with the selected design variables, such as piston mass and 2 driver fill pressure. Nine test data could successfully construct the reasonable response surface, which used to yield the optimal operational conditions of the system using the genetic algorithm. The optimization results are confirmed by the experimental test with a good accuracy. Thus, the optimization can improve the performance of the facility.
