      • Marx 고전압 펄스 발생장치의 제작 및 동작특성에 관한 연구

        This study is to investigate the operating characteristics of a Marx high voltage pulse generator, which is designed and fabricated for the purpose of constructing a linear theta-pinch plasma generating facility. The Marx generator consists of a 2 kJ capacitor bank of maximum output voltage of 200kV, a set of main spark switch, a triggring system, and high voltage charging power supply. The experimental results show that the operating characteristics of the generator can be controlled through varying nitrogen pressure as a filling gas. The output pulse of the generator is achieved close to the estimated voltage with the rise time of 3 μ seconds. The stability of the generator is also very satisfactory within operating range of main spark switch.

      • 단백질흡착을 막는 소프트콘택트렌즈에 관한 연구

        양말단에 이크릴레이트를 갖는 폴리에틸렌글리콜 미크로마(PEG macromer)와 또한 PEG macromer와 폴리하이드록시에칠메타아크릴레이트[P(HEMA)] 혹은 폴리(하이드록시에칠메타아크릴레이트-하이드록시프로메타아크릴레이트-비닐피롤리돈)[P(HEMA-co-HPMA-co-NVP)]와 상호침투된 망상구조의 시료가 소프트콘텍트렌즈의 알부민의 흡착을 막기위하여 제조되었다. PEG macromer의 중합으로 macromer의 다관능성기로 인하여 가교된 겔이 형성되었다. P(HEMA-co-HPMA-co-NVP)/PEG IPN계 콘텍트렌즈에서 PEG분자량이 중가할수록 알부민의 흡착량은 감소되었다. 또한 IPN제조시의 PEG의 농도가 짙을수록 알부민의 흡착량은 감소되었다. PEG macromer와 IPN하기전의 P(HEMA)계 및 P(HEMA-co-HPMA-co-NVP)계의 콘텍트렌즈에 비하여 PEG macromer와 IPN함으로서 렌즈의 착용감이 훨씬 상승되었다. Poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG) macromers terminated with diacrylate groups and interpenetrating polymer networks(IPN) composed of poly(hydrowyethyl methacrylate)(PHEMA) or poly(hydrowyethyl methacrylate-co-hydroxypropyl methacrylate-co-N-vinyl pyrrolidone)[P(HEMA-co-HPMA-co-NVP)]and PEG macromer were synthesized with the aim of abtaining protein adsorption resistant soft contact lens. Polymerization of PEG macromer. Crosslinked p(HEMA)or P(HEMA-co-HPMA-co-NVP) chains were interpenetrated into the cross-linked three-dimensional networks of PEG. It was found that albumin adsorption onto the contact lens prepared by P(HEMA-co-HPMA-co-NVP)/PEG IPN decreases with an increase of molecular weight of PEG. Also, it was found that albumin adsorption onto the both contact lens decreases with an increase of concentration of PEG macromer in the IPN preparation. There are also more adequate in the biointerness for the contact lens by P(HEMA)/PEG IPN or P(HEMA-co-HPMA-co-NVP)/PEG IPN than that by P(HEMA) or P(HEMA-co-HPMA-co-NVP).

        Micromonospora sp. SA-246 균주가 생산하는 Isochromanequinone계 항생물질

        저영양성 미생물을 선택적으로 분리, 배양하여 새로운 생리활성물질을 탐색하던 중 SA-246 균주가 강한 항균활성 및 암세포주에 대한 세포독성을 나타내는 것을 발견하였다. SA-246 균주의 동정을 위하여 배양적, 형태적, 생리적 특성을 ISP 방법에 따라 조사한 결과 Micromonospora 層에 속하는 것으로 동정하였으며 따라서 Micromonospora sp. SA-246으로 명명하였다. 배양액으로부터 용매추출, silica gel column chromatography, preparative TLC, HPLC등에 의하여 활성물질을 분리, 정제하였으며 UV 흡수, mass, NMR spectrum의 분석 결과 본 활성물질을 crisamicin A로 동정하였다. 화합물 SA-246은 그람 양성 세균에 항균활성을, 폐암세포주(A549), 난소암세포주(SK-OV-3), 피부암세포주(SK-MEL-2), 신경암세포주(XF498), 대장암세포주(HCT15)에 세포독성을 나타내었다. In the course of screening for new bioactive compounds from oligotrophs in soil, a microorganism, designated as SA-246 and now identified as Micromonospora sp., has been shown to produce a strong antibacterial compound. The active compound was purified form broth filtrate by ethylacetate extraction, silica gel column chromatography, preparative TLC and HPLC, and was identified as crisamicin A based on mass and NMR spectral data. The compound SA-246 exhibited not only strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria but also cytotoicity against cancer cell lines such as A549 (lung), SK-OV-3 (ovarian), SK-MEL-2 (melanoma), XF498 (central nervous system) and HCT15 (colon).

        This paper is to investigate the interrelation between the point of view and the narrator, and the method in which it must be sought. The interrelation must be studied from the aspect of all things that novels are structures of language. Like all the other narrative fictions, the point of view is communicated by being uttered from the narrators. Though the point of view does not have the verbal aspect itself, but must be disclosed in the form of language. However we can't say that the point of view is subordinate to the narration by the narrator. Because despite the narrator handles the language, it is the point of view that gives conglomeration and hues to the language. The writers treated the point of view and the narrator with a typological method. The characteristic results are the following. First, the points of view in the 1-st person novels are divided into the 1-st person internal focalization and the 1-st person external focalization according to the sameness of the focalizer and the focalized. Second, according to their roles in histoire, narrators are divided into the 1-st person key-charactered narrator and the 1-st person sub-charactered narrator. Third, the points of view in the 3-rd person novels are divided into the 3-rd person external focalization and the 3-rd person internal focalization according to the identity of the focalizer and the focalized. Fourth, according to the degree of intervention in histoire, narrators are typically divided into the 3-rd person critical narrator and the 3-rd person neutral narrator. The significance of the typological studies like this lies in clarifying what aesthetic effects shows each type concretely in real works.

        하악골 절제술후 재이식된 돌결자가골 재이식 : 치험 3례

        We described three cases of immediate reimplantation of a frozen-thawed autogenous mandible composed of a mixture of iliac bone, marrow, and particulate hydroxyapatite in tumors of the mandible. Acceptable outcomes were obtained in three patients who underwent immediate autogenous mandibular graft reconstruction. The conditions leading to successful outcome of the procedure are also discussed. Reimplantation of frozen autogenous lesioned mandible was performed in three patients with mandibular tumors. Two reimplanted grafts survived without complications following surgery. One case had postoperative infection that resolved with appropriate antibiotic treatment. There were no recurrences of the primary lesions. Satisfactory facial contour after surgery was achieved. These results are most promising, and we believe that, with further refinement, this technique will offer a new and acceptable modality for facial reconstruction in patients with cancer.
