The purpose of this study are to develop a SDSS (Spatial Decision Support System) that can incorporate diverse opinions of stakeholders related the designation of protected areas (PA), and to employ the model for the readjustment of the boundary line of the Jirisan National Park of Korea. The SDSS would lead to more rational and less controversial decision-making during the expansion or removal of PA in Korea. Research methods are as follows. Firstly, to select evaluation criteria for SDSS for PA designation by using expert interview and literature survey. Secondly, to measure their preferences on the designation of additional PA or the removal of a part of PA based on the opinions of various stakeholders such as local residents, environmental groups, or public officials. Thirdly, to produce conservation priority maps based on a multi-criteria decision making technique. The SDSS would be used to rational decision making for the expansion of PA or the release of a certain part of PA by reflecting diverse preferences on biodiversity conservation and economic interest of residents. The visualization of conservation priority maps would also increase the efficiency of such decision making processes. The evaluation criteria for the expansion of PA for biodiversity conservation includes vegetation conservation value, wildlife conservation value, and the habitats of key species. The evaluation criteria for the removal of PA includes the proximity to roads and the boundary of PA, land use types, and conservation zoning of the PA. Preference weights are based on data collected from the Jirisan National Park. Both the conservation priority and removal priority maps are based on land parcels so that property rights of all parcels would be correctly represented.

Varactor 다이오드를 이용한 VCTDRO

In this study, we designed and fabricated Voltage Controlled Transistor DRO (VCTDRO) using Varactor Diode with oscillation frequency of 3.2 GHz. A Dielectric Resonator Oscillator (DRO) which can obtain the high quality factor Q, minimized size, high temperature stability and high output power was used. This fabricated VCTDRO has 4 MHz of tuning band, -3.394 dBm of output power and -98 dBc/Hz of phase noise at 10 KHz offset frequency, at 3.2 GHz.

朝鮮 妓生의 政治的 安住와 操縱 : 『朝鮮王朝實錄』을 中心으로 With Special Reference to the Records of Sillok

This article focuses on the analysis about an specific mode of existence in the history of Chosun Kisaeng. They were the peculiar underclass among other various similar stratifications of social underdog. Chosun Kisaeng had maintained their own historical mode of existence through the sexual/political safety valve of attraction and manipulated ruling Sadaebu based on exceptional spiritual rigidity and cultural merit with artistic apparatuses. Their special conditions of life distinguished from other underclasses' inhabitancy, food life, and clothes etc. But they were, on the whole, enduring harsh discrimination from the ruling class with relatively independent social emotion and political intentions. Their strongest resource of existence are dual faces on attractive sexuality and untouchable skill of culture and art. In other words, they'd enjoyed their own particular marginality and political autonomy who'd been dare to survive depended on corporeal merit and spiritual points of outstanding. This article strictly traces on their double life in terms of real record of Sillok.

아연계 탈황제의 장기연속 반응성 연구

The zinc titanate sorbents(ZTG40) were prepared and the tests for durability and attrition resistance were carried out to develop the highly effective desulfurization sorbents. In the attrition tests for ZTG40 the results showed that the attrition resistance was 94.08% and that the sulfur capacity was maintained above 15g S/100g sorbent throughout the 100-cycle test, its maximum being 23.05g S/100g sorbent. As compared to sorbents developed by the developed countries, ZTG40 showed superior performances. In the advanced countries 15g S/100g sorbent is a yardstick of excellency for the sulfur capacity of desulfurization sorbents. Therefore, ZTG40 developed in this study has the desirable physical and chemical properties for fluidized desulfurization of coal gases.

水質汚染 指標種으로서의 淡水藻類에 關한 硏究

In order to determine the fresh- water algae as indicators of water pollution, an attempt was conducted from February 28 to October 20, 1984 at the six stations of the Geum River. 1. The St. 1 and 2 showed farirly good water quality. The value of BOD at St. 3 was 6.4 ppm exceeding the permitted level of pollution (5 ppm). Those values at St. 4, 5, and 6 were 2.0- 5.0ppm below the permitted level. 2. DO, BOD, COD, C1-,and NH₃-N contents were significantly different from one another of the surveyed stations of the Geum River. 3. The algae collected at all surveyed stations were of 52 genera 119 species. The relative abundance of Nostoc planctonicum and Oscillatoria limosa were very high at St. 3 where the level of pollution was relatively high and at St. 6 where the water quality was affected by the sea-water under the tidal condition. 4. In the Geum River, Gomphonema olivaceum could be regarded as the most important indicator of the water pollution. The permitted levels of BOD, COD, C1-, and NH₃-N contents for its survival are 5.0, 7.9, 39.1, and 4.1 ppm, respectively.

骨間結紮의 生體力學的 性質에 미치는 結紮形狀의 影響

In order to determine the effect of ligature shape on biomechanical properties of interosseous wires,the author studied the tensile and bending forces of interosseous wires with 0.23, 0.40, 0.50mm diameter using to metal die and dog's bone. The results were summarized as follows: In case of metal die, maximum tensile and bending forces were 236.1±3.2kg.f, 225.3±4.6kg·f in shape of double ligature with 0.5mm diameter and minimum tensile and bending forces were 120.9±7.1kg.f, 120.7±2.5kg·f in shape of simple ligature with 0.23mm diameter. In case of dog's bone,maximum tensile and bending forces were 146.1±8.7kg.f, 139.5±kg.f in shape of double ligature with 0.5mm diameter and minimum tensile and bending forces were 103.9±9.8kg.f, 101.4±9.2kg.f in shape of simple ligature with 0.23mm diameter. Depending on the ligature shapes, maximum forces were expressed by double ligature, combined simple and figure-of-eight ligature, firgure-of-eight ligature, simple ligature.

X-밴드 마이크로스트립 안테나 특성 고찰

In this study 45 X-band rectangular microstrip patch antennas over 7-15 GHz fed by microstrip line using λ/4 transformer were fabricated on teflon substrates with low · high permittivities and various thickness (substrate thickness : 0.6 ~ 2.4 mm, permittivities: 2.15 ~ 10.0 ), and effects of permittivity and electrical thickness on antenna characteristics were studied with measured return loss(1/S₁₁) and resonant frequencies. When substrate electrical thickness was greater than 0.060 λo return loss was very good and generally more than 20 dB, but resonance characteristics was somewhat unstable. The more than 0.088 λo the thickness was, the more unstable it was. As a result, in the rest range except 12, 13 GHz we had very good measured return loss with greater than 20 dB, and in the range 7 to 9 GHz resonant frequencies were within ±2 % error, on εr=5.0, height=2.4 mm substrate.

광대역 평면형 안테나 설계 및 제작

본 논문에서는 L-strip으로 급전하는 PCS/IMT-2000 중계기용 안테나를 설계 및 제작하였다. 안테나는 광대역을 얻기 위해 전자기 결합을 이용한 단층의 패치와 L-형태 스트립의 급전구조를 사용하여 설계하였다. 제작된 안테나의 크기가 65.8 mm×54.8mm×20.0mm 이다. 설계된 안테나의 임피던스 대역폭은 VSWR = 2:1에서 33%로 측정되었으며 이득은 8.38dB, 빔폭은 E-평면에서 76°로 시뮬레이션 되어졌다. 설계된 L-strip 모형의 급전구조는 마이크로스트립 라인의 끝에 연결되어지고 매칭 네트웍은 필요하지 않다. 시뮬레이션 결과와 측정 결과를 통해 얻은 대역폭 복사패턴 이득 등의 특성이 PCS/IMT-2000 중계기용 안테나로서의 충분한 활용 가치가 있다고 생각된다.

다기관 기능부전을 초래한 치명적인 삼일열 말라리아 증례

삼일열 말라리아는 국내에서 재유행하고 있는 감염질환으로, 일반적으로 양성의 임상경과를 거친다. 저자들은 특이한 질병력이 없이 건강하였던 젊은 성인이 국내에서 삼일열 말라리아에 걸린 후 다기관기능부전과 폐출혈으로 사망한 증례를 경험하였다. 환자의 중증 임상경과를 설명할 만한 특이한 인자가 발견되지 않았다. Vivax malaria is a re-emerging infectious disease in Korea with cumulating 19,416 cases as of December 2003 since 1993. Vivax malaria is generally a benign disease with few severe complications. Even in the worldwide literature, there are only small number of case reports on severe complications. We experienced a fatal vivax malaria in a previously healthy young adult with severe multi-organ failure and fatal massive pulmonary hemorrhage. The patient presented with abdominal pain and shock. There were splenic hemorrhage, disseminated intravascular coagulation, oliguric acute renal failure requiring dialysis, and pulmonary hemorrhage leading the patient finally to death. The initial parasitemia was 2,046/μL. Thin smear and PCR revealed only Plasmodium Vivax. There was no explainable cause of death except for the only serological suggestion of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection without correlating clinical evidence. This is a first case of fatal vivax malaria in Korea since its re-emergence in 1993. Further case monitoring is needed to define whether this is a index case or an isolated one.

지반의 가진에 의한 구조물의 동적해석

This paper deals wiy\th the dynamic analysis of Structures subjected to the ground excition. Design variables such as displacements, bending moments and shear forces at the weak elements are obtained by time domain analysis and Response Spectra analysis using mode superpositio. We found that the results obtained by each method are good agreements. But the Reponse Spectra method is more efficient in performing the analysis and less computing time if we have the Response Spectra data.
