        This paper carried out the study on comparison of two runoff models, the storage function and the filter separation AR method using the past records of Han River Indokyo Site. The storage function method is main theory on the flood forecasting and warning system of the Han River Basin and Nakdong River Basin. This method has some problem for determination of the storage parameters comparing with the separation AR method which is derived by Dr.Hino and Hasebe. This study will be continued by the amending of the Storage Function Method to find out the hydrological parameters in near future.

      • P2P 캐싱을 기반으로 한 효율적인 브로드캐스트 스트리밍 기법

        Video-on-Demand is undoubtedly a promising technology for many important applications. Several periodic broadcast techniques have been proposed for the cost-effective implementation of such systems. However, there is a server delay for all of them. To address the shortcoming, we present a new scheme improving the staggered broadcasting by jointly using prefix caching scheme of VOD system in P2P environments. In thins paper, each client plays a role in the first segment staggered broadcasting server to serve the prefix stream to other clients that request the same video stream. The buffer can be empty after the client has served the following client. As a result, we are able to achieve no service latency time and the low buffer space.

        FBG(Fiber Bragg grating) sensor, which is one of the fiber optic sensors for the application of smart structures, can not only measure one specific point but also multiple points by multiplexing techniques. We have proposed a novel multiplexing technique of FBG sensor by the intensity modulation of light source. This technique is applicable to WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technique and number of sensors in this system can be increased by using this technique with WDM technique

      • 튜브형 이산화질소 passive sampler의 태양광 영향에 관한 분석

        The purpose of this study is to estimate the effect of sunlight on the measurement results of the tube type of NO2 passive sampler. Total 252 samples; seven duplicates, two sites with different concentration level, and nine days concerning to both exposure to sunlight and screened passive samplers with aluminium foil, were measured and analyzed. Relative standard deviation(%) of measurement data in this study was calculated as less than 10%, and it meant that even the simplest passive sampler showed comparatively high precision. The average concentration values of the screened passive samplers were turned out to be 22.4%∼25.5% higher than that of the passive samplers which were exposed to sunlight. Consequently, the sunlight was found to be the most important meteorological factor to affect the measurement for the tube type of passive samplers.

        공정변수의 변동을 고려한 호감도 함수를 통한 다중반응표면 최적화

        A desirability function approach to a multiresponse problem is proposed considering process parameter fluctuation which may amplify the variance of response. It is called POE(propagation of error), which is defined as the standard deviation of the transmitted variability in the response as a function of process parameters. In order to obtain more robust process parameter setting, a new desirability function is proposed by considering POE as well as distance-to-target of response and variance. The proposed method is illustrated using a rubber product case in Ribeiro et al. (2000).

        Structural health monitoring system should developed to be based on internet and database technology in order to manage efficiently large structures. This system is operated by internet connected with the side of structures. The monitoring system has some functions: self monitoring, self diagnosis, and self control etc. Self monitoring is the function of sensor fault detection. If some sensors are not normally worked, then this system can detect the fault sensors. Also Self diagnosis function repair the abnormal condition of sensors. And self control is the repair function of the monitoring system. Especially, the monitoring system can identify the replacement of sensors. For further study, the real application test will be performed to check some unconvinrences.

        Abstract-The pharmacological activities and pharmacokinetic aspects of a topical microemulsion (KDPM) containing 0.5% piroxicam were evaluated after its topical application compared with a commercially available 0.5% piroxicam gel (R gel). When the pharmacological activities were evaluated with the carrageenan-induced paw edema model, KDPM showed 55.6% edema inhibition, while R gel resulted in 37.1%. With the adjuvant-induced arthritis model, KDPM also resulted in the better pharmacological activities than R gel. The relative bioavailability of KDPM based on R gel was 176% in rabbits.

        무선 다점 온도센서에 의한 빌딩의 화재 탐지

        현대의 대형 건물은 복잡한 전기 배선 또는 가스 배관 등의 설비를 갖추고 있어서 다양한 화재 사고가 발생할 가능성이 커졌다. 이에 따라 무선의 다점 온도 측정 센서를 손쉽게 여리 위치에 설치 가능하도록 저렴하게 개발하여 적용함에 의하여 화재를 조기에 탐지하고 그 피해의 크기를 최소화하는 것이 필요하다. 무선 온도 센서의 송신기는 4채널로 9600 bps의 전송속도와, 10 mW의 출력으로 915 MHz 통신 주파수를 갖고 수신기와 작동되도록 구성하였다. 온도범위 -55 ~ 150도 사이에서 사용할 수 있도록 검증된 반도체 온도 센서 소자를 기본으로 사용하여 4개의 채널을 구성하고 실험을 수행한 곁과 개발된 센서 시스템이 화재 탐지용으로 적용이 가능함을 확인하였다. Fire accidents often happen in large buildings because large buildings are equipped with heavy electrical wiring and piping. When fire is to be occurred in those buildings, it is very dangerous to people and building structures. Therefore, multi-point wireless temperature sensors for large buildings arc necessary in order to detect fire in the early time and thus to minimize the loss. A wireless device was composed of the transmitter and receiver. The specification of this device was as follows: 915 MHz of transmitted frequency, 4 channels, 9600bps of the transmitted speed, and 10 mW of the transmitted power. We confirmed through experiment that the temperature was well sensed and fire location was determined by the 4 channel sensors of the developed sensor system.

        유기용제 노출과 간기능과의 관련성

        목 적 : 조선소에서 만성적 유기용제 노출과 간기능과의 관련성을 규명하고자 하였다. 방 법 : 한 대형 조선소에서 도장작업 부서의 근로자 461명과 유기용제 노출이 없는 대조군 125명, 총586명의 남성 근로자를 대상으로 유기용제 생체누적노출량과 간기능검사 지표와의 관련성을 단면적 연구를 통하여 수행하였다. 일반적 특성, 직업적 특성, 간기능 검사와 작업환경 평가 및 생물학적 모니터링을 이용하여 자료와 변수들을 수집하여 이변량 분석과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 간 기능을 정상과 비정상으로 구분하여 종속변수로 삼고 생물학적 모니터링을 근간으로 하여 생체 누적 노출량(CE)을 독립변수로 하여 로지스틱 회귀 분석을 시행하였다. 결 과 : 다중 로지스틱 회귀분석을 한 결과SGOT(>351ua), SGPT(>401U/L), γ-GTP(>631U/L)에 대해 유기용제 생체누적노출량(CE)은 각각 1.10(95 %Cl, 1.02~l.20), 1.10(95 %Cl,1.Ol~l.19), 1.10(95% Cl; 1.Ol~l.19)의 비차비를 보였다. 결 론 : 그러므로 혼합 유기용제에의 누적폭로는B형 간염 항원이 음성인 남성근로자들에 있어 SGOT, SGPT, γ-GTP 등의 간기능검사의 비정상결과(검사치의 증가)에 유의한 관련성이 있는 것으로 판단된다. Objectives : This study was conducted to evaluate the association of cumulative exposure to organic solvent with liver function. Methods : We conducted a cross sectional study. 461 male workers who Perform painting job at a shipyard and use organic solvents routinely and 125 workers of the same shipyard who never have been exposed to organic solvents were studied. All subjects who were confirmed not having HBsAg surveyed their age, BMI (body mass index), alcohol drinking and smoking history, and examined liver function test (SGOT, SGPT, γ-GTP, Total protein, albumin, total bilirubin, direct bilirubin) . The amount of cumulative exposure (CE) to mixed organic solvents were measured by biological monitoring method using their metabolites in urine. Results : The CE was observed as a significant variable with logistic regression analysis on abnormality of SGOT(>35IU/L) , SGPT(>40IU/L) and γ-GTP(>63IU/L), their odds ratio were 1.10 (95 %CI, 1.02-1.20), 1.10 (95 %CI, 1.01-1.19), and 1.10 (95 %CI, 1.01-1.19) each. Conclusions : Therefore we suggest that the cumulative exposure to mixed organic solvents might be a significant variable on abnormal liver function indices (SGOT, SGPT, γ-GTP) in male shipyard workers.

      • 소음·진동에 따른 참전복(Haliotis dissus hannai)의 행동·생태학적 변화

        These days, the underwater excavation and the piling work have been commonly used to reclaim land and to build a breakwater. As the piling work generates high underwater sound pressure in all direction, various kinds of marine organisms are largely affected even if they live a long distance from the piling work. Therefore, this paper describes the relationship between the behavior of abalone(Haliotis discus hannai) of 50cm long and the environmental noise level with vibration due to the piling work. We have separated the research into two parts. The one is continuance impact, the other is intermittent impact. The following are the results obtained from the present investigation: Comparing 0.5cm/sec vibration with 50dB noise and 0.9cm/sec vibration with 60dB, the previous one show a faster reaction speed than the later one. Futhermore the later one showed that pulling up on their shell, in order to avoid the epidemic, moving around, small organisms are included to hide under big organisms, alerting posture. However we couldn't find a consistent standard in our research.
