        초등학생의 친환경 행동 인식과 실천에 관한 조사

        In this study, using a questionnaire designed to test perception and practice of pro-environmental behavior, we researched the fifth-graders, who had finished more than 60 hours of environmental education for three years. We classified the pro-environmental behavior into sixteen subcategories, such as living environment, garbage, energy, transportation, etc. and analyzed them. The analysis showed that elementary school students are mainly aware of living environment and garbage realms like environmental cleanup, recycling, and to build a green forest. However, they could not recall the energy realm easily. Besides, it was revealed that the more students are aware of the pro-environmental behavior, the better they practice it. Thus, we insist that the energy realm should be educated with familiar topics for the students. And education for sustainable development (ESD) and sustainable environmental education for the future needs a new curriculum, which can help students to be aware of pro-environmental behavior clearly.

        Pod-edible bean or snap bean is a fairly new crop to domestic farmers but the national demand is steadily increasing in recent years along with the development of westem food business and change in dietary patterns. At the same time, much efforts are being made to export it to foreign country, mainly to Japan. The amount of seeds introduced from outside is also continuously increasing along with the enlargement of area planted for the crop. Hybridization breeding for the crop has already been started to supply the cheaper and better seeds which will reduce the seed costs and forster the higher income to the farmers. In this experiment, several technologies related with the production of quality seeds are preliminary investigated. Some of the results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. Highly significant interaction was recognized between planting dates and no. of pods per plant and no. of branches but no interaction between planting dates and plant height and no. of nodes on main stem. Days to maturity was proportionally reduced to later planting dates. 2. Rate of viviparous pods and seeds was gradually increased in later planting dates but rate of germination was increased in earlier planting dates with lower germination rate in white seed coat grains than in colored seed ones. 3. Seed yield was highter in the earlier planting dates with a great deal of varietal difference. Early to mid April was considered to be the optimum planting dates for snap bean in Kyungbuk area. High correlation was recognized between seed yield and no. of pods per plant, no. of seeds per plant, and 100 seed weight. 4. Days to flowering was three and seven days longer in Cheongsong, high mountainous area than in Kunwi, somewhat prairie lowland. One hundred seed weight was also higher in Cheongsong than in Kunwi. Rate of viviparous grains, pods, and decayed seeds was higher in Cheongsong but, at the same time, the rate of germination and seed yield was also higher in Cheongsong. 5. One hundred seed weight of KLG5007 increased continuously up to 35days after flowering and decreased thereafter but that of KLG50027 increased to 40days after flowering and slowly reduced thereafter. The content of crude oil reached to maximum at 40 days after flowering and reduced thereafter. The rate of germination in Gangnangkong 1 was the highest, 89.3%, at 35 days after flowering and reduced thereafter while that in KLG50027 reached to maximum, 70.7%. at 40days after flowering and reduced thereafter. Thus, the optimum harvesting time for snap bean was considered to be 35~40days after flowering. 6. The snap bean pods at yellow bean stage easily became viviparous ones under saturated moistured conditions for 24 hours at 25~30℃. Therefore, it is recommended to harvest pods somewhat earlier than yellow-bean stage and let them do post maturing, especially when it is to be rained.

        기술우선도 결정을 위한 상호영향 계층분석모형의 개발

        The objective of this paper is to develop a new priority setting algorithm that considers the cross-impact of the future technology alternatives and that satisfies the final goal of the technology management through multi-hierarchy evaluation criteria. By combining the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model, Which is a well-known priority setting model, and Cross Impact Analysis(CIA) model, which is a technological forecasting method that considers cross-impact among R&D items, we developed an integrated Cross-impact Hierarchical (CIH) model, which sets the priority by considering technological forecasting and technology dependency simultaneously. A step-by-step numerical example of the model developed here is presented as backup of its practicality.

        This study is on the characteristics of physical philosophic factors in Yang-ming studies. Like other eastern philosophies, the studies lay emphasis on the body with the mind. In those studies, the knowledge has to correspond with the act for going into the truth. Then, Yang-ming studies can correct the defect of Ju-ja studies which concentrate on only thinking, and add the practical factor to confucianism. Also it can be made comparison with the duality of body and mind in Descartes'. Therefore Yang-ming studies, which have theories like 'Body is mind', 'The correspondence of knowledge and act', and 'Arriving into the truth', can present new alternative proposals to the view of body and mind. There is the similarity on Yang-ming studies and pheonomenology, in which people are much interested nowadays. The trials that define the view of body and mind by Yang-ming studies have been made by eastern and western philosophers.

        This study has two aims : it explains the body in phenomenology which is a main current of today's philosophy, and the body of maurice merleau-Ponty who represents Existential-Phenomenology. The features of the body in Phenomenology like these : 1) The body is the physical0emotional unity. 2) The body is the medium of consciousness and world. 3) The body is the center of all directions. 4) The body plays a mother role in cognition. 5) The body has to be regarded as the living body, not the physical body. Maurice Merleau-Ponty stadies perception in Phenomenology, the thought of human being as being-in-world. So, he emphasizes that the perceptional body is the subject that experiences the world. That is, he uses the body as the core of his philosophical development and the beginning point of his theory, And he thinks that the body as the subject in cognition loves its own life based on the surrounding world. These ponty's of the studying foundation, and help us understand the values of physical education. Therefore, ponty's thoughts of body make us know the necessity of comporative study with the mind-body unicity and the oriental thoughts which denied the mind-body unicity based on Gi theory.

        Image processing of real-time X-ray images of randomly-oriented and touching pistachio nuts for product inspection is considered. The image processing used to isolate individual nuts and an watershed transform algorithm are described. To improve the classification ratio compared with the previous research, some new features are introduced. Thus the classification ratio is much improved asa expected. The SAS classifier is used to classify good and bad nuts.

      • 美聯邦 公務員法 改正의 意義와 特性에 관한 硏究

        The United States Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 which are proposed in S.2640 will constitute the most comprehensive reform of the federal work force since passage of the pendleton Act in 1883. Since that time total civilian employment has increased from approximately 131,000 to almost 2.9million employees of whom almost 93 percent work under a merit system. In 1977, the federal civilian payroll amounted to over $46million, more than 11 percent of federal outlays for that year. Despite the enormous growth in federal employment and the accompanying increase in the laws and regulations governing the civil service, no systematic congressional review or revision of the system has been attempted in close to 100 years. S.2640, as amended, is that long overdue, comprehensive reform. Throughout the American Civil Service Reform History-especially since 1883-there has been a tension between protections established to ensure that employees are hired and fired solely on the basis of their ability,and the need of managers and policy makers to have flexibility to perform their jobs. Frequently, this tension is expressed as the "Right of Employees" versus the "Need for Management Flexibility. "The public has a right to an efficient and effective goverment, which is responsive to their needs as perceived by elected officials. At the same time, the public has a right to a government which is impartially administered. One of the central tasks of the civil service reform bill is simple to express but difficult to achieve: Allow civil servants to be able to be hired and fired more easily, but for the right reasons. This bill should help to accomplish that objective. It is an important step towzrd making the government more efficient and more accountable to the American people. This study serves two purposes. The first purpose is to describe the process of U. S. Civl Service Reform Movement between 1933 and 1978. The second is to analyze especially the significance, characteristics and the problems of the CSRA. The following is a brief summary of the bill. The bill (1) codifies merit sysem principles and subjects employees who commit prohibited personnel practices to disciplinary action, (2) provides for an independent Merit System Protection Board and Special Council to adjudicate employee appeals and protect the merit system. (3) empowers a new Office of Personnel Magement to supervise personnel management in the executive branch and delegate certain personnel authority to the agencies, (4) establishes a new performance appraisal system and new standard for dismissal based on unacceptable performance, (5) streamlines the process for dismissing and disciplining federal employees, (6) creates a Senior Executive Service, which embodies a new sturcture for selecting, developing, and mamaging top-level federal executives, (7) provides a merit pay system for GS-13 to GS-15 managers, so that increases in pay are linked to the quality of the employees'performance, (8) authorizes the Office of Personnel Management to conduct research in public management and carry out demonstration projects that test new approaches to dederal personnel administration, (9) creates a statutory base for the improvent of labor-management relations, including the establishment in law of the Federal Labor Relations Authority.

        접착제 미 사용시 치면열구전색제로서의 유동성 복합레진 평가

        본 연구의 목적은 유동성 복합레진을 치면열구전색제로 사용할 수 있는지 여부를 평가하는 것이다. 세 종류의 유동성 복합레진(Filtek Flow, Tetric Flow, Charmfil Flow)과 한 종류의 filled sealant(Ultraseal XT plus)가 사용되었다. 주사전자 현미경을 이용하여 세 종류의 유동성 복합레진 및 filled sealant의 resin tag 형성 양상을 비교하였다. 미세누출 평가를 위해 발거된 사람의 소구치 54개를 각각 18개씩 무작위로 세 군으로 배분하였다. 각 군마다 통상의 filled sealant 와 한 가지씩의 유동성 복합레진을 교합면 열구에 도포하였다. 치아들은 thermocycling(5˚ ± 2℃와 55˚ ± 2℃ 사이에서 30초씩 1200회 시행) 후 48시간 동안 1% methylene blue 용액에 보관하였다. 각각의 치아를 절단하여 미세누출 정도를 관찰하였다. 세 종류의 유동성 복합레진 및 filled sealant는 유사한 resin tag 형성양상을 보였다. 세 종류의 유동성 복합레진은 각각 filled sealant보다 현저히 더 많은 미세누출을 보였다. 세 종류의 유동성 복합레진 간의 미세누출 정도는 유사하였다. 유동성 복합레진은 통상의 filled sealant와 비교해볼 때 보다 많은 미세누출을 야기할 수 있으므로 치면열구전색제로 적절하지 않다. The aims of this study were to determine if flowable composites can be used as pit and fissure sealants without bonding agents. Three flowable composites(Filtek Flow, Tetric Flow, Charmfil Flow) and a filled sealant (Ultraseal XT plus) were used. The pattern of resin tag formation in the four sealant meterials were compared using SEM. For the microleakage assessment, 54 extracted human premolar teeth were randomly divided into 3 groups containing 18 premolars each. In each group, a conventional filled sealant and one of the three flowable composites were applied to occlusal fissures. The teeth were thermocycled(1200 cycles between 5˚± 2℃ and 55˚± 2℃ with a dwell time of 30 seconds) and immersed in a 1% methylene blue solution for 48 hours. Each tooth was sectioned and examined to determine the extent of dye penetration. Three flowable composites and a filled sealant showed a similar resin tag formation pattern. The three flowable composites showed significantly more microleakage in each group than the filled sealant. The level of microleakage was similar in the three flowable composites. Flowable composites are not recommended as pit and fissure sealants because more microleakage can occur even when occlural fissures are mechanically widened.
