The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical applications of the Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate effervescent tablet as a routine root canal irrigant by performing several in vitro tests such as CI content. cytotoxicity. antimicrobial effect as well as its pH level compared to the equivalent concentration of sodium hypochlorite solution. 1. Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate demonstrated lower level of CI concentration than each dilution of sodium hypochlorite solution. Both solution has increased level of CI as the concentration of each solution increased. There was no significant change of CI concentration in sodium hypochlorite as time goes by. However. CI concentration in Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate was increased. 2. The antimicrobial effects of both solutions were increased when their concentrations were increased. One day after dilution. antimicrobial effect of Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate was slightly higher than sodium hypochlorite. however. there was no difference in 1 week dilution solution. One month dilution solution of sodium hypochlorite still retain its activity. but antimicrobial effect of Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate was drastically decreased 1 month after dilution. 3. The cytotoxicity of Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate was rather higher than same concentration of sodium hypochlorite solution until 1 week after dilution. Then in 1 month. cytotoxicity of Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate was decreased than that of 1 week dilution solution. especially 4% Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate solution has almost no toxicity. However. 1% and 2% sodium hypochlorite solution has unchanged moderate degree of cytotoxicity after the dilution. Furthermore. 4% sodium hypochlorite solution showed high level of toxicity. 4. The pH level of Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate showed that the solution was weak acid (pH5). On the other hand. sodium hypochlorite was revealed as a strong alkaline solution (pH12). There was no change in pH following the dilution of each solution. As results. Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate solution fully satisfy the basic requirements as a root canal irrigation solution. However. we strongly recommend to use this solution clinically in low concentration and try to apply into the root canal within 1 week after dilution.

Influence of supplemental wiring to standard Wakeman's training system on self-training, breakage, and growth of shoots, and fruit quality of Seibel 9110(S.9110, Verdelet) grapevines was studied. 1.Supplemental wiring increased the rate of self-training of shoots, and 2 to 4 wires were more effective than single wire. 2.Shoot breakage was decreased by the supplemental wiring. 3.Shoot growth tended to increase by the supplememntal wiring, and increase in the number of internodes was recognized only with 1W-15 and 2W-15 treatments. 4.Shoot diameter increased by the supplemental wiring. Pruning weight also was increased with supplemental wiring, especially by 2W-15 and 4W-15-30 treatments. 5.Cluster weight was greatly affected by supplemental wiring, and the effect was enhanced by 2W-15 and 4W-15-30 treatments. Brix degrees(°Bx) tended to increase by supplemental wiring but the effect was noted only by 2W-15 treatment.

An investigation about Database Management System, Database Server and Data Communication Network is the first recomendation to implement the Tele-medical System that is offer a advanced medical service with share of patient information between hospital and manage of medical data. When we design a distributed database like Tele-medical System the data communication network is the most important thing from them. Cause, medical data is composed with large scaled mixed media data like text, image, audio, video and need a high-speed data communication network for remote access on theses data. In this paper, we implement a Agent for remote medical database remote access function of the Tele-medical System based on ATM and explain the result of performance analysis.

We propose that a new type of the electrostatic microwiggler can generate the field with a period (0.1 ㎜ ≤ 1_(w) ≤ 1 ㎜) and a strength (|E|_(w) ≤ 100 kV/m) on the PZT[Pb(Zr,Ti)0₃] surface when a high frequency and high power ultrasonic wave travels through a PZT bar. In oder to investigate the propagation characteristics of TE_(10) mode electromagnetic wave in the waveguide including the influence of the microwiggler caused by pizoelectric body, We manufacture the TE_(10) waveguide and make expriments with varying the physical parameters, such as, shapes, positions and materials. It is shown that, the single mode with the frequency of about 10 ㎓ propagates through the waveguide loaded by PZT bar and could be amplified from these experments. This microwiggler generated on the surface of PZT ber can be offered as a basis of an tunable and compact FIR free electron laser where a relatively low energy electron beam (E_(b) ≤ 100 keV) can emitts the radiation in the submillimeter region of the spectrum.

General source location method that use an arrival time differences among sensor is restricted to the composite material and the complex-shaped material. In this study, a bundle-type acoustic sensor composed of 6 pinducers was utilized to determine wave propagation direction and then to estimate source location of the unidirectional GFRP. For the purpose of the study, slowness curve for the material was obtained and made an assumption that the incident waves on pinducers are propagated as a plane wave. According to the results, measured propagation directions of the wave was coincide with theoretical background, however, it was a hassle to determine the source location exactly. But, it is expected that bundle-type sensor gives more accurate results for zone location than generally used acoustic sensors.

Background: Signet ring cell carcinoma (SRC) of the stomach has been known to have different microscopic and biologic characteristics compared to non-SRC. Thus, a pathologic report has documented partly SRC component with other main histologies in gastric cancer. However, the clinical significance of SRC mixture has not been reported. The aim was to investigate clinicopathologic features of mixed-SRC histology in early gastric cancer (EGC). Methods: Between 1999 and 2005, 2208 patients were diagnosed with EGC and underwent surgery at Severance and Gangnam Severance Hospital. Among them, 156 patients were diagnosed with adenocarcinoma with partly SRC (mixed-SRC group), 1,512 with only adenocarcinoma (adenocarcinoma group), and 540 with SRC (SRC group). Clinicopathologic characteristics among the mixed-SRC, adenocarcinoma, and SRC groups were analyzed. Results: The SRC group was more significantly associated with younger age, female, mid-body location, mucosa-confined, depressed type, lower lymph node metastasis (LNM), lower lymphovascular invasion, and a better survival rate than the adenocarcinoma group. The mixed-SRC group was more significantly associated with younger age, female, upper-body location, and depressed type than the adenocarcinoma group, similar to the SRC group. However, the mixed-SRC group showed more submucosal invasion, larger size, and higher LNM than SRC and adenocarcinoma groups. Also, a mixed-SRC component was one of the independent risk factors of LNM. Conclusions: The mixed-SRC group displayed different clinicopathologic characteristics from other groups. Mixed-SRC histology in EGC showed more aggressive biologic characteristics than SRC and adenocarcinoma. Thus, clinical considerations of mixed-SRC histology may be helpful to decide on a specific cancer treatment.
하이브리드 WMN을 위한 가상 도메인 기반의 반응형 라우팅 프로토콜

본 논문은 하이브리드 WMN의 계층구조 메시를 고려한 무선 다중 홉 라우팅프로토콜에 대하여 제안한다. 다양한 무선 응용서비스의 가능성을 가진 WMN은 오랜 연구에도 불구하고 실제 사용을 위해서는 아직 해결되어야 할 과제들이 많이 남아있다. 특히 라우팅 프로토콜 부문은 MANET을 위해 설계된 프로토콜을 적용하면 하이브리드 WMN에서는 라우팅 효율이 떨어지는 문제를 우선적으로 해결하여야 한다. 라우팅 성능향상을 위해서는 우수한 경로구성 프로토콜과 경로 메트릭이 필요하다. 하지만 최근의 연구는 교차 계층 설계에 의한 경로 메트릭에 집중되어 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 하이브리드 WMN에서의 라우팅 성능향상을 위해 필요하지만 연구가 부족한 경로구성 프로토콜을 제안하는 것이 목적이다. 본 논문에서 제안한 라우팅 프로토콜은 하이브리드 WMN을 가상의 도메인으로 노드들을 그룹화하고 전송경로 구성을 도메인 기반으로 수행하도록 설계된 reactive 방식이다. 제안한 프로토콜의 성능분석을 위한 시뮬레이션 결과 경로결정 평균 지연시간이 대표적인 reactive 방식인 AODV에 비해 43% 단축되었다. This paper propose a new wireless multi-hop routing protocol that takes the hierarchical mesh of the hybrid WMN into account. WMN that is possible to provide various applications of wireless networks still has many open issues that should be solved despite the studies carried out over a decade. Especially, in routing protocol area, a problem degrading the routing efficiency by applying one of the routing protocols, which are designed for the MANET, to the hybrid WMN be solved above all. For the improvement of the routing performance, both good routing protocol and metric are essential. However, the recent studies are only concentrated in routing metric by use of the cross-layer design. Therefore, this paper is dedicated to the routing protocol that is essential for the performance of the routing but needed more studies. The proposed protocol in this paper is reactive, and designed to reorganize the hybrid WMN with several pseudo domains, and carry out domain-based route decision. By the simulation result for the performance analysis of the proposed protocol, the average delay for the route decision was decreased by 43% compared to AODV that is the typical reactive protocol.
