        한국어 명사절 내포문의 중국어 대응 관계 연구 ― 한·중 병렬 말뭉치를 바탕으로

        본 논문은 명사절 내포문에 초점을 맞추어 한국어와 중국어 내포문의 대응 관계에 드러나는 차이를 문장구조적 측면에서 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 내포문은 한국어와 중국어에 모두 존재하지만 상이한 언어 유형에 속하기 때문에 문장구조적 차이가 많다. 이러한 문장구조적 차이가 어떠한 조건 하에서 나타나는지를 살펴보기 위하여 본 연구에서는 한국어 약 43만 어절, 중국어 약 106만자, 도합 149만 형태 단위 규모의 연구용 한·중 병렬 말뭉치를 구축하였다. 말뭉치에서 추출한 용례를 분석한 결과, 한국어 명사절이 담당하는 문장성분은 중국어와 같은 문장성분으로 대응하지 않은 비율이 높게 나타났으며, 이러한 대응 관계에서 중국어 단문과 복문의 대응 종류가 확인되었다. 또한 중국어 단문과 대응의 관계가 나타난 특징을 살펴보면 한국어 안은문장의 서술어가 중국어의 품사 대응과 일치하지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 특히 한국어 내포문 안은문장의 서술어가 형용사일 때 중국어에서 동사로 대응되는 경우가 많다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 중국어 복문과 대응의 관계가 나타나는 특징은 한국어 명사절의 문장성분은 부사어가 되는 것이 대부분으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 대응 차이를 이해할 시 중국인 학습자는 한국어 명사절을 대치하여 사용하는 문장구조를 예측할 수 있고 명사절 내포문의 사용 빈도를 높일 수 있을 것이다. This paper takes noun clause embedded sentence as the research object, constructs a 1.49 million Korean-Chinese parallel corpus, and analyzes the sentence structure differences of noun clause embedded sentence in Korean and Chinese. The analysis results show that the ratio of non-correspondence is higher than that of one-to-one correspondence in Chinese in terms of sentence constituents of noun clause in Korean. In the non-corresponding relationship, there are two types of corresponding cases including Chinese single sentence correspondence and compound sentence correspondence. The corresponding ratio for single sentences is significantly higher than that for compound sentences. The feature of Korean sentence pattern corresponding to the Chinese single sentence is that the predicate of main clause collocating with noun clause is mainly adjective. This type of adjectives is used as a verb in Chinese. The difference in part of speech leads to the occurrence of non-correspondence relationship. The feature of Korean sentence pattern corresponding to the Chinese compound sentence is that noun phrase acts as adverbials which are divided into two sentences in Chinese including main clause and embedded clause for correspondence. By studying the differences in correspondence between Korean and Chinese embedded sentences, it can be predicted that Chinese learners are influenced by their mother tongue, and the sentence structure replaced for noun clause embedded sentence is beneficial to increase the usage frequency of noun clause embedded sentence.

      • 정식 시기와 적심 횟수가 화단국화의 생장과 개화에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate optimum planting date and pinching times on the growth and flowering of garden chrysanthemum(Dendranthema grandiflorum Ramat.). 3 lines of garden mums were planted on May 16, June 13 and July 11 respectively. As planting date was delayed, all the 3 lines' plant height and plant width was reduced. 09-19-49 line got the biggest plant height and width, followed by 09-11-37 line. And 08-166-02 line was the smallest. In different planting times, the experiment group of May 16 and June 13 got the biggest plant height, plant width and stem diameter. However, in the experiment group of May 16, most of the plants got flattened. The experiment group of June 13 got the best ornamental value, and the ornamental value was reduced in the experiment group of July 11 by the short vegetative growth. 09-19-49 line got the most flowers, while in different planting time, the experiment group of May 16 got the most flowers. 09-11-37 line got the biggest flower diameter. 09-11-37 line and 09-09-51 line were planted in the containers on the rooftop. Each groups were pinched by 1, 2 and 3 times on July 2, July 26 and Aug 16 respectively. There was no effect on plant height, plant width, and stem diameter of 09-09-51 line and 09-11-37 line between 1-time-pinching group and 2-time-pinching group. But 3-time-pinching group was reduced. There was no significance in flower diameter of these two lines but the number of flowers was reduced by more pinching times. Therefore, in this experiment, the groups which were planted on June 13 got the best ornamental value and the recommended planting time is in the middle of June. Furthermore, 2 times of pinching was recommended.

      • 조경용 국화 품종 ‘Pansy Ball’과 육성 계통의 적정 식재 밀도

        This research was carried out to investigate optimum planting density of landscape garden mum ‘Pansy Ball’ and 5 inbred lines. ‘Pansy Ball’ and 5 inbred lines of garden mums were planted at Pai Chai university campus on April 25, 2011. Plant density was controlled by 1 plant, 2 plants, 4 plants in one plot of 0.4m x 0.5m respectively. Average plant height in 1 plant in one plot was 46.2cm~71.7cm. And the average plant height in 2 plant in one plot was 45.9cm~64.8cm, while 4 plant in one plot was 38.9cm~53.2cm. Also, plant width of 05-18-01, 05-01-01, 09-76-03, and 09-02-02 inbred lines were over 50cm by 1 plant in one plot. However, as the plant height and plant density was high, most of the plants got flattened and the ornamental value was also reduced. We got the ‘Pansy Ball’ and 2 inbred lines 09-76-03, 09-02-02 for proper landscape ground cover plant.

        A polymer membrane electrolysis micropump powered by a compact wireless power transmission system

        In this study, a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) membrane electrolysis micropump activated by a miniaturized wireless power transfer (WPT) system is introduced. The micropump system has total dimensions of 20 × 14 × 8.2 mm 3 . Combined with a compact WPT system, the micropump enables the delivery of drugs to the treatment area on demand. The WPT system consists of an impedance matching network and a two-stage voltage multiplier. Voltages ranging from 0.8 V to 1.3 V can be generated at different operating distance of 8 cm to 20 cm away from the RF source. The micropump is capable of delivering liquid continuously over a flow ranging from 0.11 µL/min to 4.84 µL/min. This micropump demonstrates a maximum cumulative released drug volume of up to 100.8 µL and was able to produce a pressure that is higher than the intraocular pressure. The results can be used for the study of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other ophthalmic diseases.

        Right-to-Left Displacement of an Airgun Lead Bullet after Transorbital Entry into the Skull Complicated by Posttraumatic Epilepsy : A Case Report

        Penetrating head injury is a serious open cranial injury. In civilians, it is often caused by non-missile, low velocity flying objects that penetrate the skull through a weak cranial structure, forming intracranial foreign bodies. The intracranial foreign body can be displaced due to its special quality, shape, and location. In this paper, we report a rare case of right-to-left displacement of an airgun lead bullet after transorbital entry into the skull complicated by posttraumatic epilepsy, as a reminder to colleagues that intracranial metal foreign bodies maybe displaced intraoperatively. In addition, we have found that the presence of intracranial metallic foreign bodies may be a factor for the posttraumatic epilepsy, and their timely removal appears to be beneficial for epilepsy control.

        Original Article : A Disintegrin and Metalloprotease with Thrombospondin Motif 2 May Contribute to Cirrhosis in Humans through the Transforming Growth Factor-β/SMAD Pathway

        Background/Aims: We aimed to investigate the correlation between a disintegrin and metalloprotease with thrombospondin motif 2 (ADAMTS-2) and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) in clinical human cirrhotic tissues. Methods: The liver tissues of 24 patients (16 cases with cirrhotic portal hypertension as the cirrhosis group and eight cases with healthy livers as the normal group) were collected. Immunohistochemistry and Western blots were performed to evaluate the protein expression levels of ADAMTS-2 and TGF-β1. Western blots for other key mediators of cirrhotic progression, including SMAD2, SMAD3, TGF-β receptor II (TGFβRII), matrix metalloproteinases 2 (MMP2), and tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases 2 (TIMP2), were also performed. Results: Cirrhotic tissues showed higher percentages of collagen. The protein expression levels of ADAMTS-2 and TGF-β1 were significantly higher in the cirrhotic group as compared to the matched normal group (p<0.05), and there was a positive correlation between these two proteins (r=0.862, p<0.01). The protein expressions of MMP2, TIMP2, and TGFβRII, as well as the phosphorylated forms of SMAD2 and SMAD3, were significant higher in the cirrhotic group (p<0.01 or p<0.05). Conclusions: These findings suggested that ADAMTS-2 and TGF-β1 may play important roles in the pathogenesis of human cirrhosis; specifically, TGF-β1 may induce the expression of ADAMTS-2 through the TGFβ/SMAD pathway.         Tip fabrication methods of hollow metal microneedles

        Hollow microneedles can penetrate the corneum of the skin and various biological barriers. Drugs can enter through a minimally invasive path or bodily fluid can be collected from the epidermis or dermis. This makes hollow microneedles (MN) a promising tool for drug delivery and body fluid sensing in a painless manner. Here, we propose a nickel microneedle with a length of 720 μm, an inner diameter of 27 μm, and an outer diameter of 87 μm. To construct the metal hollow microneedle model, we introduce three different manufacturing methods. The three methods are laser cutting, re-dissolution by SU-8 coating, and ultrasonic blade cutting. To verify the penetration capability, the microneedle array was tested to penetrate of the rabbit skin without rupture. The microneedle array was also repeatedly used in a film puncture experiment to verify the reliability of the structure. These microneedles can be combined with syringes and other drug delivery devices to achieve accurate quantitative and controllable flow rates of drug delivery. Through mechanical test and solution delivery test, we demonstrated that the microneedle structure has strong mechanical strength and a controllable rate of drug delivery, which is feasible as a drug delivery device.

        Robust Stability Analysis of Time-varying Delay Systems via an Augmented States Approach

        This paper focuses on the robust stability analysis of linear systems with time varying delays. The second derivative of the state is used to construct a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF). Then, both the integrals and derivatives of the states along with the delayed states could be taken into consideration in handling of the LKF. We introduce these augmented variables and establish correlations between them. Moreover, our approach makes it available that quadratic convex combination can be applied not only to the time delay, but also to the derivative of it. Robust stability criteria are presented, and numerical examples illustrate that the methods are less conservative.
