Prediction of Electromagnetic Wave Propagation in Space Environments Based on Geometrical Optics

We predict the electromagnetic wave propagation in space environments using geometrical optics. The effective indices of the troposphere, stratosphere, and ionosphere are computed, and the reflection, refraction, and attenuation of electromagnetic waves in space environments are calculated based on the ray tracing technique and geometrical optics. The influence of the refractive index and loss of atmosphere and the incident angle of the antenna on electromagnetic wave propagation is discussed.

Weight minimization is important to reduce the vehicle cost and environment problem. Shape optimization is one of methods to reduce the weight but not used widely due to the difficulty of use. In this study, shape optimization and newly shaped FE model generation with morphing technique is explored. Also merits and demerits comparison of the commercial software was performed to furnish information of morphing technique. The research results show that newly shaped FE model generation with morphing technique is successful and very efficient way to reduce the time of product development.
광선 추적법을 이용한 우주 환경에서의 안테나 전파 특성 예측

우주 환경에서의 굴절률 변화를 고려하여 안테나의 전파 특성을 계산한다. 대류권, 성층권, 전리권의 유효 굴절률을 계산하고, 대기권을 통과하면서 굴절되고 감쇠되는 전파 특성을 계산하기 위해 광선 추적법, 기하광학법, 호이겐스의 원리를 이용한다. We calculate the propagation characteristic of antennas considering refractive indices of space environments. The effective indices of troposphere, stratosphere, and inonshpere are computed and the ray tracing method, geometrical optics, and Huygens" principle are used to estimate refracted and attenuated electromagnetic wave of space environment.

This study is to examine the life physical education by linking to the social physical education and as a result of the study to enlighten the significance of the life physical education in the future, the following conclusions can be obtained:The concept of the life physical education is naturally come from the basis of historical and social environment of the social physical education. The study is also intensively focused on the concept that the life physical education is mainly with the individual and it is started from individual when it comes to say that the main body of the social physical education is a nation or society.The phenomenal constitution-theory of Husserl supports that the self confirms the self-ego identity with the fundamental to establish the reciprocal subjectivity. The body can be understood to have positioned as the middle thing between theself and living environment.In the comparative study getting at three realms of the existing title of the social physical education, 'Sport for All', it can be found the life physical education could be a concept that can spread out to the people all over the world attracting to the participation from the self meaning myself.Therefore, it should be appraised and appreciated in a new concept that the life physical education is capable of accomplishing self-actualization in different forms for the self each other while having ideal meaning that can spread out the fundamental along with activation of the physical education.
칵핏 모듈의 Knee Bolster 개발시 충돌 해석 절차의 적용

Knee bolsters in cockpit module playa crucial role in absorbing energy when a crash accident happens. So, the good design of knee bolster is important to meet the safety regulation (FMVSS 208). Nowadays, FE(Finite Element) analysis is widely used to predict the performance prior to manufacturing. In this study, lower-body dummy knee impact model was evaluated by comparison with full dummy knee impact model, which includes airbag and steering column model. Using lower-body dummy knee impact model, the knee impact performance was exploited with changing several design variables, Also, the effects of knee bolster bracket shape and material change were investigated. As a result, the optimal design of knee bolster bracket satisfying the safety regulation could be derived.<br/>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this paper, we introduce a new family of graphs which is a subclass of chordal graphs as well as a superclass of interval graphs and study it. Myung proposed an algorithm for the minimum clique partitioning problem with constrained bounds in weighted interval graphs. We extend the family of interval graphs to the family of so called “interval-like graphs” to which Myung's algorithm is applicable and show that bull-free chordal graphs and diamond-free chordal graphs are interval-like graphs.</P>
방사성 폐기물 처분연구의 QA절차에 따른 웹기반 문서처리 워크플로우 시스템 개발

During the early stage of radioactive disposal programs, important issues related with quality assurance of data sets, methodologies, R&D procedures are recognized as important ones. This paw focused on the development of web-based workflow standards for the QA procedures of the radioactive waste disposal programs. The flow of process was analyzed based on workflow concepts proposed by the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC). QA system is based on the principles of T2R3. T2R3 stands for transparency, traceability, review, reproducibility, and retrievability. Workflow was used to standardize and restructure the business and/or work process in the industry or orpakation. The WfMC has identified five functional interfaces to a workflow service as part of its standardization program They are composed of process definition interface, worklist handler, application program interface, interface between workflows, and system management. The task flow and QA program were defined based on the wokflow ideas. QA procedures for the R&D results of radiation disoposal were analyzed following the reference model of workflow. In addition, six program run list were created and implemented. The creation, revision, and approval of the test data were designed to be inplemented on the web environment. Through this system, R&D procedures such as planning, research, documentation, internal review and future independent peer review processes could be well organized and stored more systematically on the database and knowledge base. This will encourage the usage and data sharing between interested parties through it's clear and transparent workflow standards.
