반경험적 분자궤도 함수론인 확장 HU¨ckl 법을 β-Chloro difluoro ethyl methyl sulfides, sulfoxides, sulfones에 적용하여 반응기구와 상대적인 반응속도를 설명하고 n-propyl chloride와 비교 하였다. 계산결과는 실험값과 반응성지수가 잘 일치함을 보였다. A semiempirical molecular orbital theory which is known as extended Hu¨ckel theory is applied to explain the relative reactivity and the reaction mechanism of β-Chloro difluoro ethyl methyl sulfides, sulfoxides, sufones and compared with n-propyl chloride. It has been shown that the calculated MO theoretical reactivity indices are consistent with the experimental order of the reactivity and reaction mechanism.
흰 쥐 腦組織에서 Serotonin含量變化가 疼痛調節에 미치는 影響

The purpose of the experiment was to evaluate the effects of electrical stimulation of the periaqueductal gray(PAG) and pretreatment of 5.7-dihydroxytryptamine(5.7-DHT) on rat jaw-opening reflex elicited by maxillary mucosal stimulation, to determine the content of serotonin and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid(5-HIAA) after PAG stimulation and 5.7-DHT pretreatment, and eventually to clarify the role of serotonin on the descending pain control mechanisms. The effects of electrical stimulation of the PAG and prctreatment of 5.7-DHT on the jaw opening reflex was evaluated by using fractional change of digastric EMG. The content of serotonin and 5-HIAA was calculated by using high liquid chromatography(HPLC) with electrochemical detection (ECD) method. The results were as follows; 1. electrical stimulation of the PAG depressed the jaw-opening reflex but this effect was markedly reversed by 5.7-DHT pretreatment. 2. In normal rats, the content of serotonin and 5-HIAA was significantly increased in the pons and medulla oblongata by electrical stimulation of the PAG. 3. The content of serotonin and 5-HIAA was significantly decreased after pretreatment of 5.7-DHT in the midbrain, pons, and medulla oblongata.
Die spacer의 두께에 따른 복합레진 inlay의 치은 변연부 미세누출 및 접착양태에 관한 연구

AbstractThis experiment was performed to observe the adhesion pattern and microleakage in the gingival margin according to variation in the resin cement thickness which results from thickness of Die spacer, which is considered to effect the adaptability of the composite resin inlays. Clearfil CR inlays were fabricated on stone models with CR Sep applicated once and Nice fit twice, 4 times, and 6 times each. After 2nd curing within the CRC-100 oven, CR inlays were cemented with CR inlay cement. Dye (2% methylene blue) penetration and adhesion pattern were evaluated after sectioning of gingival margin into 3 pieces.The results were as follows ; 1. The thickness of resin cement showed unevenchanging pattern with that of die spacer, namely, it was increased until 4 times' application of Nice-Fit but was decreased with 6 times' application of that. 2. The degree of dye penetration wasn't affected by cement thickness within a limited value. 3. Most of dye penetration was shown through the interface between cement and enamel rather than the interface between cement and CR inlay. This shows that the affinity of resin cement for CR inlay was superior to the adhesive strength with tooth structure. 4. No gap was found at the interface between enamel and cement but some showed separa- tion between dentin and cement. It is concidered that the contraction force of cement was less than the bond strength with the enamel. 5. Lots of voids were found in the CR inlay and resin cement. There was a pooling tendency of bonding agent and cement in the axiogingival line angle portion. 6. In some specimens, cracks were shown in enamel margin. From this it could be conside- red that cavity preparation and surface treatment weakened the tooth structure.
Mineral Trioxide Aggregate(MTA)의 치근단 역충전효과에 대한 임상적 연구

Although numerous materials have been recommended as root end filling material, so far no material has been found to satisfy all of the requirements of an ideal material. An experimental material, mineral trioxide aggregate(MTA), has been recently developed to seal off all pathways of communication between the root canal system and the external surface of the tooth. This material has been used to seal the root end cavities in extracted teeth and similar preparations in beagle dogs and shown very promising results. In this clinical study, 5 anterior teeth from three patients were used to clinically and radiographically evaluate the efficacy of MTA as a root end filling material on a short-term basis. After removing the apical 2 to 3 ㎜ of the roots, The root end cavities were prepared and filled with MTA. The results were as follows: 1. All the cases demonstrated excellent healing radiographically and absence of clinical signs and symptoms. 2. According to the results, it appeared that MTA had a good sealing ability and biocompatibility. 3. MTA showed very promising results as a root end filling material, but Long-term clinical retrospective studies of many cases are recommended to get the most valid evaluations.

Gas phase Ozonolyses have been examined with particular emphasis on the question whether are produced. The following results were obtained. 1) In contrast to previous reports, Ozonolyses of the terpense β-pinene and sabinene provided the corresponding ozonides as minor products. Major products were the corresponding ketones, respectively. In addition, β-pinene afforded the lactones, while sabinene gave the lactones. 2) Ozonolyses of 1, 2-dimethylcyclopentene provided the corresponding ozonide as a minor and diketone as the major product, along with small proportions, each, of nine additional products. 3) Ozone treatment of diketone provided small amounts of Ozonide in a hitherto unprecedented reaction of diketiones with ozone.
