      • 대기 중 휘발성 유기화합물의 Advanced Technology에 대한 실험비교

        Nowaday, Advanced technology has been applied to organic destruction technologies that are alternatives to incineration. Plasma, photolysis, and Photocatalytic oxidation processes are an emerging advanced technologies for the abatement of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) in atmospheric pressure air streams, so we has been used these technologies for destruction of VOCs. TCE, Benzene, Toluene, and Xylene were selected as objective materials. We have been studied each process and found many types of reaction parameters which effect on treatment efficiency. So combination processes, which are plasma-photocatalytic oxidation process and photolysis-photocatalytic oxidation process, have been used to increase destruction efficiency. Analysis of above materials and byproducts was carried out by GC-FID.

      • 다중 가설 추적 알고리듬의 성능 평가

        The Multiple Hypotheses Tracking (MHT) algorithm has been shown to be one of the most cost- effective estimation schemes for hybrid systems. Its performance, however, could only evaluated via expensive Monte-Carlo simulations. An effective hybrid approach to the performance evaluation without recourse to simulations is presented here. This approach is based on a scenario-conditional performance measure of hybrid nature in the sense that it is a continuous-valued function of a discrete-valued random sequence. The performance measure is calculated efficiently in an off-line recursion.

        정신분열병 또는 정신분열형장애를 가진 입원환자에서 Risperidone과 Olanzapine의 효과의 비교 : 6주간의 개방적 전향적 연구 6 Weeks, Open-Labelled, Prospective Study

        Objectives : Risperidone and olanzapine, which are atypical antipsychotics. are widely used in the treatment of schizophrenia as the 1st line drug, proving their effectiveness for both positive and negative symptoms. They also have many advantages even from the side effects. However, they show differences with the chemical structure and pharmacokinetics and they work differently to receptors. Researchers have studied the effect and side effect during the acute phase of schizophrenia as an open prospective study. Methods : Forty subjects with DSM-IV schizophrenia or schizoaffective patients including 1) 1st onset schizophrenia patient, 2) patient who has been treated by the prior antipsychotics and not improved or even worse to be admitted again, were assigned to receive risperidone or olanzapine for 6 weeks. Psychopathology, adverse effect. weight change, fasting serum glucose, and drug cost were compared within and across groups. Results : After 6 weeks later both treatment groups showed the significant decrease in PANSS positive, general psychopathology and total score while they did not show any significant difference between two groups. Risperidone group, however. showed the significant decrease in PANS negative score, which olanzapine group did not. In terms of adverse effect risperidone group showed more extrapyramidal symptom than olanzapine group. Body weight rised significantly after Gweeks, but no significant difference between two treatment groups. There were no significant indrease of fasting serum glucose level. Conclusions : Risperidone and olanzapine are effective drugs which can be used during the acute phase of schizophrenia. Risperidone is expected to shorten the admission day and remission of the symptom of acute phase, mile olarizapine is more advantage in a neurologic side effect than rispendone.

      • 동진강 유역의 농업활동에 의한 수질변화와 실측부하량

        The entire duration of the research work was from December-2000 to July-2002. Site measurement were conducted during various season, in a dry season(December), in rainfall, in seed-sowing time and also collecting data from the rural public organizations related to water management was done and examined during the mid of research work. Generally, the Dong Jin River watershed contains small three Creeks, KoBu, DongJin(including JeongEup and ChilBo, WonPyong). It was further divided into 32 sub-watersheds which comprises of further 5, 18, 9 watersheds in the creeks respectively. Inflow loading to the river was calculated from measurement of general water quality and quantity and these field surveys were made thrice times in agricultural drainage channels, where fertilizers and pesticides leaching from the surface have an direct effect for the deterioration of the several creek and river. Estimation of contaminant loading has been done by using unit loading based on the notification No. 1999 - 143 of the Ministry of Environment. Most of estimated loading data reported during the research work were slightly higher when compared with the notification of the Ministry but they do not have any significant effect. It was assumed that sub-watersheds have considerable field survey loading data, which were affected due to non-point source pollution load as compared to point source. For investigation of surface rainfall ranging from .50㎜ during non-farming or .10 rainfall on the period of farming, BOD loadings in the field during farming showed slightly higher levels in comparison with discharge loadings, T-N also showed the similar trend as discussed earlier.

        裝鋼粉?을 還元해서 얻은 粗酸化亞鉛을 소-다灰로 90℃에서 中和處理한 結果 다음과 같은 結論을 얻었다. 粗酸化亞鉛(Crude zinc oxide, 54%Zn, 9.3%Pb, 13%Cl₂)은 鹽基性 黃酸鉛(Lead basic sulphate0形의 Pb₄O₃SO₄·2H₂O와 Pb₃O₂SO₄만 結晶質이고, 亞鉛과 鹽素의 化合物의 結晶은 確認할 수 없었다. 中和反應 時 Soda-ash使用量은 化學量論的 理論量만 必要했다. 中和反應에 의해 生成된 沈澱物은 鹽基性 炭山亞鉛(Zinc basic carbonate:4ZnO·CO₂·4H₂O)과 鹽基性 炭山鉛(Lead basic carbonate:Pb₃(CO₃)₂(OH)₂)의 形態로 되어 있었다. 또 脫鹽處理한 化合物을 180 gr/ℓ의 H₂SO₄로 浸出한 結果, 浸出液은 130 gr/ℓ Cl₂이고 浸出殘渣는 主로 黃酸鉛(PbSO₄)으로 되어 있었다. After neutralization-treating the crude zinc oxide obtained from the reduction of steel making dusts at a temperature of 90℃, the following results were obtained. 1) The crude zinc oxide (54% Zn, 9.3% Pb, 13% Cl) was found to be crystalline consisting of Pb₄O₃SO₄·2H₂O and Pb₃O₂SO₄with type of lead basic sulphate, however, a crystal of zinc and chlorine compound was not able to be confirmed. 2) The theoretical amount determined in a stoichimetric calculation ash was only required for the reaction of neutralization. 3) The precipitate formed by neutralization reaction was comprixed of zinc basic carbonate (4ZnO·CO₂·4H₂O) and lead basic carbonate (Pb₃(CO₃)₂(OH)₂). 4) It was found by leaching dechlorinated compounds with 180g/ℓof H₂SO₄that the leached solution contained 130g/ℓof Zn and 200 mg/ℓof Cl₂and that the leaching residue consisted mainly of lead sulphate(PbSO₄)

      • 스피커 특성 및 오차경로의 온라인 인식을 이용한 새로운 적응 능동소음제어

        In active noise control system, the error path transfer function is much more likely to change rapidly due to in temperature or flow rate. The loudspeaker response also changes due to aging and the other factors. Therefore, an improved solution to obtaining both the loudspeaker and the error path transfer functions on an on-line basis is required. In this paper, a new filtered-X least mean square(LMS) algorithm considering the loudspeaker and the error path characteristics is proposed for active noise control system. The transfer functions of the loudspeaker and the error path are obtained by an adaptively estimated error signal and the error path output signal on an on-line basis. In the computer simulation using the sinusoidal and the practical duct noise, the proposed algorithm reduces noise level about 29.1dB and 10.4dB, respectively. We observed an improvement of about 2.5dB in noise level compared with that obtained using the Eriksson's filtered-X LMS algorithm.

        In this paper, we present a compensation method of contrast loss in highly bright region by CPT beam profile. In the proposed method, the local difference signal for the compensation is transformed according to the local mean of luminance. In computer simulation, clear image is obtained by the compensation of contrast loss in highly bright region.

      • 전기응집장치에 의한 오수의 중수처리

        Contamination of both surface and ground waters, and water shortages have forced us to search for innovative sources of water supply. The use of dual water system is expected to increase and to become of even greater importance in the future. In this study, electrocoagulation process was applied in treating municipal wastewater for nonpotable reuse. It is clear that the once-used water collected from communities and municipalities must be viewed not as a waste to be disposed of but as a resource. The parameters tested operating both batch and continuous electrocoagulation were electrolytic plate, plate distance, voltage and current density with removal efficiencies of BOD, COD, SS, T-N, T-P, turbidity and color. Good water quality of treated effluent was obtained as BOD〈10.0mg/L, COD〈20.0mg/L, SS〈20.0mg/L and P〈5mg/l, with both A1 and SUS plate. Corrosive reaction was found in electrocoagulation reactor with plate. Only 15 - 35% of nitrogen in rawmunicipal wastewater was removal by both A1 and SUS plate. The optimum condition of electrocoagulation treatment for nonpotable reuse was found to be 10mm of plate distance, 10 V, and 1.10 A/dm² of current density with SUS plate.

        In this study, using of experimental data, we are applied in rheological equation of state. The calculate result obtained in the range of this study are as such the following: 1. If the steady-state shear viscosity(η) is a state function, presented in rheological equation of state by exact differential equation. 2. We have obtained the each parameter of the rheological equation of state using experimental data. 3. The mean error of the calculated values and experimental values was of less than about 2% with each other J and D. 4. However, we have obtained rheological equation of state from state funciton. ??
