ON GENERALIZED λδs-SETS AND RELATED TOPICS OPOLOGY
Caldas, Miguel,Hatir, Esref,Jafari, Saeid Korean Mathematical Society 2010 대한수학회지 Vol.47 No.4
In this paper, we define and study the concept of $\wedge^s_{\delta}$-closure operator and the associated topology $\tau^{\wedge}^s_{\delta}$ on a topological space (X, $\tau$) in terms of g.$\wedge^s_{\delta}$-sets.
ON SOME NEW MAXIMAL AND MINIMAL SETS VIA θ-OPEN SETS
Caldas, Miguel,Jafari, Saeid,Moshokoa, Seithuti P. Korean Mathematical Society 2010 대한수학회논문집 Vol.25 No.4
Nakaoka and Oda ([1] and [2]) introduced the notion of maximal open sets and minimal closed sets in topological spaces. In this paper, we introduce new classes of sets called maximal $\theta$-open sets, minimal $\theta$-closed sets, $\theta$-semi maximal open and $\theta$-semi minimal closed and investigate some of their fundamental properties.
On a Generalization of Closed Sets
CALDAS, MIGUEL,GANSTER, MAXIMILIAN,GEORGIOU, DIMITRIOS N.,JAFARI, SAEID,POPA, VALERIU 대한수학회 2007 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.47 No.2
It is the objective of this paper to study further the notion of ∧_(s)-semi-θ-closed sets which is defined as the intersection of a θ-∧_(s)-set and a semi-θ-closed set. Moreover, we introduce some low separation axioms using the above notions. Also we present and study the notions of ∧_(s)-continuous functions, ∧_(s)-compact spaces and ∧_(s)-connected spaces.
On θ-Semigeneralized Closed Sets in Topology
Miguel Caldas,Saeid Jafari 경북대학교 자연과학대학 수학과 2003 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.43 No.1
Levine [17] introduced and investigated the notion of generalized closed set. It is the object of this paper to offer a new notion of generalized closed set called -semigeneralized closed set and study its fundamental properties.

In this paper, we define and study the concept of [수식]-closure operator and the associated topology [수식] on a topological space (X, τ)in terms of g.[수식]
Miguel Caldas ...et al KYUNGPOOK UNIVERSITY 2000 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.40 No.2
In this paper we consider a new generalization of an open map, which is called contra pre semi-open and continue the study of contra pre semi-closed maps i.e., the maps whose images of semi-closed sets are semi-open sets. This definition enables us to obtain conditions under which inverse image of every subset from the codomain is sg-closed. At the end of the note a discussion concerning the semi-closed graph theorem for contra pre semi-open maps is also presented.
Leukemic Oral Manifestations and their Management
Francisconi, Carolina Favaro,Caldas, Rogerio Jardim,Martins, Lazara Joyce Oliveira,Rubira, Cassia Maria Fischer,da Silva Santos, Paulo Sergio Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2016 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.17 No.3
Leukemia is the most common neoplastic disease of the white blood cells which is important as a pediatric malignancy. Oral manifestations occur frequently in leukemic patients and may present as initial evidence of the disease or its relapse. The symptoms include gingival enlargement and bleeding, oral ulceration, petechia, mucosal pallor, noma, trismus and oral infections. Oral lesions arise in both acute and chronic forms of all types of leukemia. These oral manifestations either may be the result of direct infiltration of leukemic cells (primary) or secondary to underlying thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, or impaired granulocyte function. Despite the fact that leukemia has long been known to be associated with oral lesions, the available literature on this topic consists mostly of case reports, without data summarizing the main oral changes for each type of leukemia. Therefore, the present review aimed at describing oral manifestations of all leukemia types and their dental management. This might be useful in early diagnosis, improving patient outcomes.
Physiological and yield responses of soybean under water deficit
Felisberto Guilherme,Schwerz Felipe,Umburanas Renan Caldas,Dourado-Neto Durval,Reichardt Klaus 한국작물학회 2023 Journal of crop science and biotechnology Vol.26 No.1
Water defcit during grain flling is a key factor on soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) production, but plant response to diferent water stress levels should be better understood. This study evaluated soybean plant response to diferent soil water levels during grain flling. It was assessed the gravimetrical humidity and soil matric potential, leaf relative water content, leaf water potential, proline, and yield components of plants under a range of days without irrigation (0, 3, 6, 9, and 12) during grain flling phase. Until soil matric potential was around −0.8 atm soybean water defcit tolerance mechanisms were enough to maintain leaf relative water content and leaf water potential at acceptable levels, which proline concentration was a key factor in this mechanism. Leaf relative water content and leaf water potential showed to be related in maintaining soybean yield under water defcit and they may be used in studies of soybean tolerant cultivars to water restriction. From 9 days on, critical yield losses were observed due to water stress. The information presented in this study supports soybean producers in decision-making in irrigated systems to minimize productivity losses due to water defcit during the critical period of the crop–grain flling.
